Eastern Point in Warrington

Absolutely lovely went in today, I ordered the katsu curry but asked if they could change the chicken to mushroom ( I’m on the autistic spectrum and certain meat textures aren’t for me) Not only did they accommodate this request but honestly it was the nicest meal I have had from the market ❤️ thank you so much x

A 5 minute wait for my order to be prepared and served by efficient staff. I got the Fried Chicken Ramen. The chicken was tasty, but on the verge of being overcooked and beginning to get a little dry. I really liked the breadcrumb coating and how it soaked up the broth, yet retained its own flavours. A good variety of vegetables included, all with a crisp and crunchy texture in good contrast to the soft noodles. The broth had a medium spiciness, but I found it was a little bland and a bit oily. A good portion size, fairly priced. *Edit* To clarify: the medium spiciness is in reference to the chilli heat level, which was good. The bland flavour is the lack of aromatic spices, in my opinion.

We came to the Market undecided what to get with our 8 month old who is currently weaning. The owner offered us some rice and cooked vegetables for our son at no extra cost. Excellent service! The food is also great, particularly the cauliflower bites! Thanks again!

Went to Warrington market a couple of weeks ago and didn't realise how late it was. Despite them closing up Claire and Charlie was happy to let us order our meals probably meaning they had to work over a touch. Amazing food, great service and went the extra mile for us. Couldn't be happier.

Been here loads of times before and one of our favourites is on the 3 for £13 menu. After today we both think we need to give it a miss for a while. We usually get a portion of chicken in sweet chilli sauce each and we share a portion of “soul fries “. The first few times the chilli chicken was served on a decent size rectangle plate - 5 large pieces of delicious chicken drenched in sweet chilli sauce. Some time later the large rectangle plates were switched to smaller bowls. Not a major problem but there was less chilli sauce. Then the quality of the chicken seemed to be not as good as previously served. Today we went along to get the usual order, really disappointed, served in tiny bowls about the size of a small tea cup. Much smaller and really poor quality chicken and almost no chilli sauce the quality of which was clearly poor and so little most of the chicken was without sauce, my wife took hers back and asked for more sauce. I understand costs are rising and it’s difficult to keep increasing prices but I’d prefer to pay more for the quality dish they used to serve because today it was clearly not value for money. If today was my first time trying that dish, I wouldn’t be coming back! It wasn’t poor, it was awful, really awful! I do hope that the owner takes notice of my review and does something about it because in my mind Eastern Point has over several weeks gone from outstanding to really poor and that’s the start of slippery slope.

My daughter ordered the Seoul loaded fries with katsu chicken, and I tasted a bit of it, and wow, the chicken was moist and coated lovely, the fries were cooked to perfection but the best is always saved for last, the curry sauce took me back to when I was a kid it was gorgeous so tasty i went up and complimented them and they even gave me a sample to try at home, so friendly and polite

Loved the Kamikaze Stacker (didn’t have to wait long either for it). Wasn’t too happy with the chips but loved the seasoning on them.

Honestly, fantastic food! Totally surpassed my expectations. The Korean chicken and fries was so tasty. The chicken bao bun was amazing too. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered through just eat for the first time tonight. Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and delivered really fast! I’m very impressed! This is my new favourite takeaway!!

Ordered the ramen and was really looking forward to it. The broth tasted too strong as if it was 3 beef stock cubes diluted into a cup. The flavour was too overpowering that I ended up leaving my food to one side. Also the ramen noodles were stuck in clumps at the bottom. Considering we have ordered other dishes from here before, the ramen is certainly one that we would not order again. May I suggest to taste the broth before serving?

First time here and absolutely not the last. Fairly busy, quoted 25 mins or so (no problems there) but it arrived in 15. Good portion size, really impressed with the flavours. I went for the pulled pork sandwich with Seoul fries, but I was spoiled for choice. I’ll be back trying the rest of the menu no doubt.

Been about 5 times now and always get the Korean chicken and seoul fries and a pork bao. Omg its the tastiest meal ever. Wont go anywhere else in the market

Was really looking forward to Katsu chicken. Presentation was good. Shame that the chicken was uncooked, didn’t want my meal replaced after waiting 30 min wait. Spent the weekend in bed with sickness and diarrhoea, such a shame. In reply to your message It was Saturday 20/05/23 at 14.47 pm ordered via the app and app advised would be 20 min wait!! I have photos and have no reason to lie!!!!! Like I said such a shame. If you would like my receipt and photos I can forward them on to yourselves

Korean themed with gochujang flavours. Good attempt. Fried chicken was tasty and crispy. Soggy fried rice. Greasy ramen. Bulgogi sandwich served on soft white bread burger bun that disintegrated around the beef.

I had the katsu chicken on a bun and seoul fries, sister had the beef version and the chicken bao buns. Everything tasted amazing. Lovely friendly staff. We’ll be back for more.

Customer service👎🏼, the man that brought the food out just wasn’t good. He was miserable, placed the food down, we said thank you he just turned and walked away just felt very awkward really.

Worst ramen I've had! No flavor. Spent £9 had to leave the food and get somthing else.

It’s getting worse. I used to come Every week for bao buns but they must be trying to save money of late, they’re awful. They used to be outstanding. The team however are now the worst thing about this place, they genuinely couldn’t care less. More bothered about standing out the front door smoking then actually speaking to their customers. Not only will I be a avoiding but now telling people to do the same. Shame.

Lovely bao buns, I would have given a 4 or 5 but we had to wait for the two stoner lads to finish chatting up the girl at the jacket potato stall for around 5 or so minutes but then serving us he barely said 2 words and his eyes were so so red. Maybe he had been crying who knows. Funny really.

I had the Ramen with pork belly. Simply yummy, but if you can't eat spicy food, let them know. It's a very big portion, perhaps a little too much for small eaters.Also ordered the bao bun but yet to try it, so can't comment yet.

Katsu chicken rice and Seoul fries...absolutely divine....first time here and was so nice. Fluffy rice just perfect to be honest. Will be back for sure.

They advertise the food as halal which is why we bought it but my husband bought a meal and it smelled like wine. He asked the staff and they said it does have red wine in it!

Order the BaoBun, pork and chicken. Taste is fine, not excellent, just ok. Staffs are chill and polite! But they missed my order. Good to try, take some time for second round.

Well! the taste of the food was excellent. I was a little disappointed in the amount of chicken within my meal that arrived. I mentioned it to the staff and although it was late in the day for them (nearly closing time) nothing was too much trouble and they rectified my issues delivering me more chicken. Took a while to get food but when it came the chef was very apologetic and gave us some complimentary fries, food was absolutely delicious, thank you for the awesome food and great chef

£5.50 for cauliflower is a little steep without some rice, there is the same dish in Liverpool Market and they give option of chips and rice or just cauliflower for £3.50. Don't get me wrong it was super delicious but the portion size as very small and poor customer service from the guy who served us.

Bolgogi Steak Burger was potentially the best burger I’ve ever had & I’ve been to amazing. The flavour & presentation of the food here is incredible.

Every time we go to town we go to the market we've eaten here like 5-6 times now and every time it's been amazing the ramen is delicious, and the Korean chicken. It really is an asset to the market. :)

Love these guys. Food is incredible and unashamedly unique. They haven’t changed their style to suit others and become a quasi-Asian joint. Bao buns are delicious parcels of texture and sweet/savoury. Ramen thick coils oozing umami rich flavours. New sweet and sour cauliflower needs your attention and a healthy appetite (one to share with a favourite friend?). Best way to meet your 5 a day. Chicken is rich dark meat in crisp breadcrumb. The thigh meat helps with the succulence and avoids a manufactured feel which is all too common. And it doesn’t take much to make food look pretty, but so many ‘standard’ Asian takeaways can’t be bothered. These guys care.

Had the belly pork & chicken bao buns - definitely moreish and delicious. Also had the fried chicken and Seoul fries which were tasty. My friend had the beef sandwich and said that was superb as well. Can't wait until my next visit!!!

The food here is so fresh and amazingly tasty! We got the bao buns - I don't usually like chicken that isn't chicken breast but this was DELICIOUS! I can't wait to return!

The most amazing food, i’ve tried almost everything from them and it’s always unreal!

We had the Korean chicken & fries which was so tasty - crisp on the outside & juicy inside. We also shared a side order of greens which were beautifully cooked so the delicate flavour was still there. Great experience, looking forward to my next meal there.

Amazing place, amazing service, really friendly staff and incredibly tasty food - highly recommend if you're a lover of Asian food and you're in the Warrington area!
