came here for a birthday meal and it was perfect from start to finish! the cocktails were gorgeous (highly recommend the brambleita), the food was incredible, and the staff were lovely - even going so far as to sing me happy birthday which was so nice! will absolutely return if I visit London again!!!

También £ 14 por dos nachos apilados con atún era bastante imperdonable. There is a big difference between what i payed what i eat, sorry for this review but is not the best tacos :(, the service really good, and the lamb tacos also, but if you are in borough market maybe is better if you try anything else, i regretted when i ate and then i saw all the stuffs to eat in the market.

I was there for a business trip and for dinner I decided to go to El pastor, and I definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back if I go to London again

Delicious food, small portions, very expensive. There were three of us and after spending £95 we weren't really full. Taste was good. Water is available for free... but there is a hefty service fee added to the bill. Prices very steep. Ordered guacamole twice and was £19 poorer. Margarita very good but also very expensive. Unfortunately we had to sit outside because it was very loud. No recommendation at this point. I like to tip, but I would like to decide for myself how much I give for the service.

Seated quickly on a very busy Friday night. Have been before and this time wasn’t as good but still really enjoyed. The crab tostadas and mushroom tacos were my favourite. £8 for a stubby can of beer was a bit much though. Prices were okay. Server was very rushed and chaotic and brought out wrong order, also seemed quite desperate for us to leave the minute we had finished.

Estábamos luchando para encontrar un lugar para comer en el mercado del condado, ya que era hombro con hombro durante las compras de Navidad, vimos este lugar y nos metimos y conseguimos una mesa. El servicio fue genial, súper amable y servicial. La comida era aún mejor, una de las mejores comidas mexicanas que he tenido. Los tacos de champiñones y la quesadilla de cerdo son muy recomendables, al igual que la cerveza que han hecho junto con Two Tribes. Mi única reserva es que almorzamos e intencionalmente mantuvimos nuestro pedido a un par de artículos, prefiero haber ido a la hora del té y pedido más comida! Me encantó, me encantaría comer aquí de nuevo.

Overall good spot with nice tacos and inspired by those of Mexico City. Only gave this a lower start since there weren’t a ton of veggie option and I didn’t love all the salsas (the spicier ones were lacking body and the right balanced profile). Also wish the portions were a little bigger too.

The food quality was good but portion size quite small. The setting was nice, but the prices were very expensive verging on ridiculously so. Service was good but in and out in half an hour for £90 for two people.

Highly recommended if you want to eat Mexican food, sitting quietly in Borought Market, a little away from the hustle and bustle of this area. Cristian, a native Galician, treated us phenomenally and recommended our lunch, which was perfect!!!

We went yesterday as a group of about 8 or 9 people, they treated us wonderfully and the food of 10, the attention is the best, super nice and attentive, I will return.

I was in Spain this long weekend and I was surprised by the good quality of the food. The attention of the staff was also very good, especially Cristhian who was very friendly and told us significant aspects of the city.

El Pastor is set in the middle of the St Pancras complex. It is a vibrant area, full of movement and excitement. The El Pastor is a Mexican casual restaurant; I think El Pastor refers to grilled pork slices. There was a varied choice of crab tostadas, duck carnitas, guacamole and salsas. Original and tasty. Service was swift, Alice our waitress was helpful and charming. It may have been fast food but that was what we were after. Stephen I

When seated you are given a on the house water for your table and the service is very fast and efficient, food was absolutely delicious would recommend the beef brisket tacos, when ordering guacamole you get nachos with it which some places make you get them separately would recommend this place to all

Great restaurant, I loved the ambience - spicy margaritas are to die for. I’d prefer the food a bit warmer but it is what it is :) Our service was excellent too. Rini or Irini was the best. Explained everything and was so much interactive. Totally recommend.

Located inside Borough Market, El Pastor is a nice Mexican restaurant known for its delicious tacos. The service is friendly and efficient, even on busy days. While the dishes were very good, the price-to-quantity ratio could be better. Despite this, I would definitely return.

My wife and I agreed that of the 5 salsas we had, 3 of them were excellent, some of the tastiest we’ve ever had - the roasted habanero with lime, the salsa verde and the habanero with grilled pineapple. Unfortunately the rest of the food was average at best, the steak in my tacos was so dry it was like dried rubber. My wife’s quesadilla was “ok” she said, and oddly not served folded as quesadillas typically are. Service was very haphazard- they didn’t bring my dish on time and the 3 tables around us also had their food orders messed up. Really I’d give this 3.5 stars because 3 is too low and 4 is too high. Only the salsas saved it from being very disappointing.

They recommended the place to me because of my gluten intolerance, however they did not let my 6-year-old son eat a box of sushi that we brought from outside. It is complicated with an intolerance and two children to find places that meet all the requirements. Little empathy on the part of the company, a waitress understood it and told us there was no problem, the manager did not authorize it. A shame we couldn't eat. I don't recommend it.

Excellent. Very good tacos and atmosphere. It's in the Borough Market. It has chairs outside and inside. The sauces and dressings are excellent and so is the margarita. I recommend it.

Staff seem helpful and friendly, but the food was bland and tasteless. Sauce did not complement the taco.

Food is average and smaller portions. Chicken in the tacos not tasty, potatoes bland, quite pricey for what it is. I’ve yet to find a Mexican that makes my mouth water and want to rush back. Great concept and drinks looked good. Lovely staff. Don’t get the rave reviews on food.

Busy and best to book in advance. Highly recommend their taco sharing platters (unlimited shells and toppings); most affordable tacos in London, and high quality. Can get up to 20 tacos out of each sharing platter!!

Food was great, wonderful fresh flavours. Portions are a nice size to get a few plates to share between two (or more), which lets you experience more of the menu. Found it very reasonably priced for the quality and location. Service was friendly and attentive.

The food has nothing in common with Mexican food, it was almost cold (not reheated) and the price compared to the quantities of food is terrible.

The service was soo good here. Really fast, friendly and they topped up our unlimited tacos without us even having to ask! The Spiced Mango Margarita was delicious and the atmosphere was really vibrant. We had a great time!

The Mexican food here is simply incredibly delicious and authentic! The service was excellent and we were there with a group of six people. What was particularly great was that there was also a separate menu for the children! You have the choice to sit inside or outside. There are heaters available for outdoor guests so that they can sit comfortably even on cooler days. The interior of the restaurant is incredibly beautifully decorated. We would definitely like to come back! 😁👌

Semi-hidden under a bridge in the heart of Borough Market is the best Mexican restaurant in all of London. You leave behind all the hustle and bustle of the market to immerse yourself in a Mexican atmosphere. The restaurant is usually quite full, and with good reason. The dishes are exquisite and always accompanied by freshly heated corn and wheat tortillas that are replenished until the end of the meal.

Do NOT come here, the Tacos taste horrible and the dishes are not clean. Even if the food were good, the prices would still be way to high

Fuimos allí un jueves por la noche y esperamos por una mesa que conseguimos dentro de 30 minutos. El personal de la parte delantera era muy agradable y acogedor pero cuando se trataba de nuestro camarero (hombre alto gruñón con una chaqueta de béisbol blanca y azul - no muy profesional ) , nunca hemos recibido un servicio tan terrible y decepcionante! Parecía que no quería servirnos en absoluto. No había sonrisa alguna en todo momento. Entiendo que está muy ocupado, pero venir a cenar después de un largo día de trabajo, todo lo que quieres es disfrutar de tu velada con algunos amigos y buena comida, pero su actitud nos decepcionó a todos. La comida era buena, pero por favor hacer mejor con el servicio. El resto del personal que trajo la comida y el personal del frente era genial. Aunque no obtuvimos un adiós de nuestro camarero , agradecemos que el personal del frente se despidiera de nosotros. Por favor, contrate mejores camareros.

We had the queso fundido, chicken tacos, and the mushroom tacos. Queso fundido was too oily but arguably the best thing that we had. Each chicken taco came with a singular piece of unseasoned chicken, which clearly came from a freezer pack of chicken goujons. It lacked sauce and flavour as a dish. The mushroom tacos did not taste like they had any mushroom in it, it tasted very similar to the starter. It seemed like melted cheese with a few beans in it. The food experience was very disapointing.

The front desk staff gave us a table inside even though they were really busy. Server was super friendly to our kiddos. Guacamole was yummy and we live in CA so wasn't sure it would live up to what we are used to. El Pastor tacos were my husband's favorite. Kids menu was very generous.

Fuimos allí por el nombre, para disfrutar de una fantástica comida latina en Londres, después de estar sentados, pedimos unos tacos y quesadillas , y algunas bebidas, porciones muy pequeñas, y las bebidas, se sentía igual que el agua, nos sentimos muy decepcionados y frustrados . No recomendaría este lugar. Precio y calidad no coinciden en absoluto.

Los precios son elevados en consideración a la poca comida, los tragos eran prácticamente agua, mesas y sillas incómodas e inestables. No lo recomiendo, mala experiencia
