We recently visited this place based on online reviews, expecting some great take on Mexican food. Although we initially tried to like it and convince ourselves the food was tasty, in reality, it was very underwhelming. The crab tacos had a very imbalanced taste with the acidic lime taste overpowering everything. The pork belly tacos were very soggy and fatty, and as we ate them we couldn’t stop wondering what else is missing to avoid the bland taste of fat mixed with corn. The churros were very nice and saved the meal. For the price and size of the portions, I am not sure I recommend it - would highly encourage the chef to rethink the current menu as my views are shared by many others in the comments section.

After being to Oaxaca, Mexico recently it’s nice to see a place that provides great Mexican inspired food. As someone who is plant-based I would say that you can get a great selection of food here, all at a high standard and extremely flavourful. I got flautas and shared the elote, guacamole and plantain. Whereas my friend got the fish tacos which they absolutely loved. It was also great to see they had tepache as an option to drink. Overall food was great and service was great. I would say that it is a bit on the pricey side so definitely check the menu beforehand.

I came a few years ago and the food was amazing. After returning last, night the Soft Shell crab was unrecognisable - we couldn't tell it was crab. It was fried to a dark brown colour and overly salty. The other food was OK but not worth over £100 for two people (with no alcohol) with not many dishes ordered. We mentioned the crab to one of the staff who apologised but that was it. As a result will not return or recommend sadly.

Fab little Mexican restaurant. Super fast service and friendly staff. Made to feel very welcome. The highlight was the soft shell crab tacos.

Beautiful restaurant with lovely and delicious food, I visited the restaurant with my family and we enjoyed it.

This is our second time coming and the first time was great. We had the guacamole with the chicharrón, which was tiny and taste wise okay. We ordered the baja fish tacos, prok belly tacos, crab tacos, and baby potato flautas as well as elote. The food was disappointing, and very bland, the fish tacos had no other taste other than fish, the flautas lacked seasoning (the green sauce was okay). The only thing worth getting were the pork belly tacos. Such a shame because I was expecting amazing flavours.

The staff are excellent but sadly that's where it ends. The starters are ridiculously overpriced, 8 pounds for a tiny bowl of guacamole and 5 for a small bowl of salsa. The pork belly tacos are decent but quite dry. The soft shell crab tacos tasted really bad, we had to send them back. The dessert portions were tiny as well.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, and cool waiters. The prices are a little expensive, but the size of the dishes is very good. Jaime attended us, very friendly and attentive. I totally recommend

Been there in New Year’s Eve. Everything was amazing, service delivered by our waiter Pedro was the best possible!!

Great food (a shame a few items on a small menu were missing, but that happens) but let down by slow and inattentive service. we weren’t even offered water once throughout our long stay and had to chase down staff each time.

At the Marleybone location, they attempted a table menu where we spent over GBP 1,000, and the experience was highly disappointing. Almost all the food was either sent back or boxed up due to its poor quality. While the drinks were enjoyable, the overall experience felt disheartening, especially after having had exceptional visits near London Bridge. Additionally, the venue was nearly empty, and the food was, quite frankly, inedible.

Our experience at Santo Remedio was probably the best meal out we've had this year. I can't vouch for the authenticity of the food, but the dishes were tasty, fresh, and nicely presented, and the menu had a great variety of options you don't see in the UK very often. The service was excellent too (probably the best part of the experience) - warm, friendly, attentive and accurate.

Had a very good time with my friends. Cocktails were amazing and food as well. Recommend the Lamb shank, service by our waiter Pedro was the best possible!!!!

Amazing food, way better than I expected, vegetarian parts of the meal were more delicious than I'd of imagined will go back again 😋

Disappointing! The food is good but the service and prices are horrendous. The server was constantly trying to sell us drinks and extras it was genuinely irritating. The last thing you want at an expensive restaurant is someone constantly reminded you that they are trying to squeeze as much money as possible from you, which they do here. We ended up leaving much earlier than we intended to.

Christmas selection. The bits of turkey were dry, hard bits in sweet potato. Slow cooked meat was so soft and delicious.

Delicious food and great all round service. Even though we were a large group of 11, we felt well looked after and got all our food including starters and desserts within 90 mins.

Extremely disappointing service and food. Food was hugely overpriced, under cooked, unseasoned and portion sizes were ridiculously small. What a shame and huge disappointment!!! We ended up eating at another food place after to actually eat. Don't even bother with children. This is the first time I refused to pay tip or service charge! Never again.

Out for dinner with colleagues this week. Table booked and confirmed for 17:15 We were running late due to Victoria line overcrowding and phoned ahead to say we'd be 10mins late and told that was fine, no problem. We arrived as we'd said, 10mins late, to find our table had been sold. Asked to sit and wait, not offered drinks whilst we waited. after c10mins we were taken to a table and sat down. Staff asked to take our coats as service was busy and room at a premoum. Ordered Cocktails, which prmptly arrived and were very very good! We ordered the sharing beef 500g as well as several other dishes to share. A little while later the Maitre de came over to explian the had no beef left save for one single 200g portion of the sharing plate. We decided to order the lamb shank along side that remainig 200G as the alternative. Food arrrived a little while later, minus the steak, and was all average to good in terms of quality and taste. A little while passed and the food on the table was getting cold as we ate but we'd not recieved the sharing steak so asked after it. With that the Maitre de retunred and flat out blammed the Chef in that he'd cooked it for another customer. The fact that the staff didn't know a significant portion of the menu was not available and then our reorder was clearly not taken propely and subsequently we'd been lied to by front of house put a significant downer on the evening. Nothing more was offred by way of an apology, offer of money off the bill, alternaitve dish ect . By this stage the evening was taking a sour turn and so we did not complain as our genuine feeling was that to do so would be wasted breath and we wanted to get on and enjoy what was left of the night elsewhere. We were getting ready to leave and were essentailly blanked actually ended up getting our own coats as two staff memebers stood chatting right next to the stack of coats ( one being hte maitre de). We'll not be going back and would not adivse anyone to do the same. Poor acrosss the board.

Food was salty, and some of it was burnt. Cocktails were good . Overall, there is nothing to remember .

Very good Mexican food in London! We ordered cocktails (very delicious spicy margarita!) and the tuna tostadas and tacos to share. Our waiter Jon was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. A pleasure to be in a Mexican restaurant and be able to speak Spanish with the service. Good value for money!

Food, beverage and service were excellent!. As huge group, we ordered micheladas, tacos, flautas, tortillas and guacamole, different desserts and coffees. Pedro, the waiter helps us in every detail, with an amazing and friendly attitude. Totally recommended.

Food was great as was the wine and pricing fair considering location. Service was slightly slow but good, clearly understaffed and overbooked as we were told not asked to vacate our table after two hours despite being seated slightly later than our booked time. One toilet for the whole restaurant-shocking!Management prioritising profit over providing a good service!

Went for the bottomless brunch menu on a Saturday afternoon. Food was decent but the service was very slow and disorganised (I think they only had one waiter in my section who was new) and we couldn't get the drinks in time because of having to wait.

Portions are ridiculously small, tacos were cold and horchata drink was really awful… on top of that the check arrives with a tip of 13%. The restaurant is terrible noisy..

Accidentally stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant and I’m glad I did. The guac seemed fresh and the seabass was a generous portion. People that work there seem happy and pleased to be there which adds to the ambiance of the place. Pedro was my server and was attentive throughout, he was always at hand if I needed anything. I plan to return next time I’m in the area.

I found this place quite overpriced for what it was. It took a while for someone to take our order and we had to flag someone down to get their attention. I think paying £15 for two average tacos is a lot but this is standard for London I guess. The staff were super friendly!

1) Lovely waitress got the order wrong. We were served another table's food. 2) We waited 1h and 50 minutes for them to bring to food, as there was an error. 3) The food is central London prices, yet portions are so small, I cannot justify the price. Worst service ever experienced!!! Food portions small!!! And we waited almost TWO HOURS!

A couple of days ago I checked out this Mexican place. I started with some tacos that were absolutely out of this world, they totally transported me back to Mexico... And to finish off, I had a tres leches cake – wow! The flavour was incredible. I'd highly recommend this place and a big thanks to Jaime for being so friendly and welcoming during my visit, his service made the whole experience even better

I'm not the biggest expert, but this is honestly the best mexican food I have had. Pedro was incredible and made us all feel so welcome! We love Pedro!

Horrible service arrived there just as restaurant opening and was given menus and after 40 minutes still no server to even take our order despite being early and partner flagging down staff twice. Food might be good but absolutely would not be able to overlook this service

Digamos que si estás buscando un bocadillo caro pero con los precios de la cena este es el lugar. Pedí las chuletas de cordero y eso es todo lo que tienes, 3 trozos pequeños de carne y nada más en el plato. Mi marido pidió los tacos de pescado y vino con dos. Podía encajar con ambas manos. Estoy en mis sesenta y nunca he terminado de comer en un restaurante y luego busqué otro lugar para ir y realmente obtener una comida real del tamaño de una cena. Estoy muy confundido por las excelentes críticas que recibe este lugar. Supongo que si estás buscando un lugar de moda para comer, y no buscas valor entonces este es el lugar. El personal era muy agradable pero largas esperas incluso con una reserva.

Let's just say if you're looking for an expensive snack but with dinner prices this is the place. I ordered the lamb chops/cutlets and that's all you get, 3 small pieces of meat and nothing else on the plate. My husband ordered the fish tacos and it came with two. He could fit both of them in one hand. I'm in my sixties and have never finished eating at a restaurant and then looked up another place to go and actually get a real dinner sized meal. I'm very confused by the great reviews this place gets. I suppose if you're looking for a trendy place to eat, and not looking for value then this is the place.

Amazing mexican food. Some of the best I've eaten outside Mexico! Can highly recommend the tuna sashimi taco. Out of this world. Great service and a buzzing atmosphere.

We went to celebrate a family member’s birthday, we were 8 people plus children we spent over £200 and they still wanted to charge us £5 each to serve our own cake. If you’re celebrating someone’s birthday do not go there!

A nice place, good food, fast service.

Food was great! The restaurant is also lovely, it was pretty busy and upstairs gets a bit loud… but we still enjoyed the dinner a lot! The food was delicious and the staff really nice! We ordered the guacamole with grasshoppers! If you fell brave you should taste it! The highlight probably was the tuna tostada!

I'm very happy to say that after many years trying to get a decent mexican restaurant I have finally found one. Although I'm not an expert in mexican cuisine , the balance of flavours and freshness of the dishes did it for me. The simplicity of the humble ingredients being elevated by a good chef,without pretentiousness. The decor of the place and service of the staff added to a very nice evening. Thank you.

Four of us went for Saturday bottomless brunch and the food service and atmosphere were all fantastic. Shout out for Ben our waiter. He could not have been more attentive.

The highlights, unreal margaritas, lots of choice of flavours and rims if classic wasn't your thing. Food was brilliant quality but the quantity for the price wasn't right. Food and drinks come to £120 per person and although we had a decent amount of drinks to be honest a few of us left hungry. They recommended 3-4 plates between 2 I would say realistically you need 4 absolute minimum to share plus sides and nachos to feel satisfied. Service was decent but for a small restaurant a little slow, though they are freshly made cocktails so it is understandable to a degree. The guacamole was sensational. Overall had a great night and the food and drinks was delicious, but it was an expensive evening for a Monday catch up with the girls. Would recommend though.

As a transplant from California, I've been desperate to find good Mexican food in the UK, but have had no luck. I was hopeful for Santo Remedio, but the menu is incredibly limited and not very authentically Mexican. Sashimi? No. There was only one beef dish, no chicken, and too many vegetarian dishes. I felt forced to choose dishes because they were the only things that weren't off-putting. The actual food was varied. The red salsa was delicious. I couldn't eat the fish tacos, as the fish taste was way too strong. The vegetable tostadas were all vinegar and not nice. I did enjoy the short rib, although it was a bit samey after one bite. The atmosphere was way too loud and I could barely hear my husband speak. The one nice thing was our waiter, who was lovely, honest, and extremely helpful and friendly. But I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone looking for good Mexican food.

An awesome restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food, and super close to London Bridge train/tube station. Toby was our waiter and so lovely and helped us make some great food orders for vegans - would really recommend the baby potato flautas and save some room for desert as the churros were so tasty!

This was a family celebration of my son’s 18th. The food was fantastic - can’t recommend the short rib enough, but all the dishes were exceptional and (best of all) gluten free! The cocktails were fab - especially the Paloma and the spicy margaritas. We will definitely book again.

Lamb chops were nice but way too expensive. Everything else was mediocre, including food and drinks, again crazy expensive for what you get to eat. Why all the options are altered? No single option is mexican authentic, without fusioning. Your restaurant supposed to have cocina Mexicana.

It has a really nice atmosphere, especially when you sit outside. The food was amazing, I had a very delicious lamb with chickpeas and the best coconut margarita I've ever had... well, the first one, actually 😍! Sara was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks, Sara!

I had an amazing experience at Santa Remedio! I tried both the tacos and tostadas, and every dish was full of flavor and incredibly delicious. The freshness of the ingredients and the perfect balance of spices made for a truly authentic Mexican dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food in London!

I came here for bottomless brunch, and it was fabulous! Really good value for money 2 courses and a pudding for £58 plus service charge. the staff are really attentive and always make sure the drinks are flowing! Jay our serve was a ray of sunshine 10/10

This is an okay Mexican restaurant in Tooley Street, between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. I am not very used to Mexican food and not sure if this is a reflection of it in general, but I found the food was just extremely mid. I was expecting to be amazed by it given that it says that they feature on the “Michelin guide” or something like that but the food is just okay. Putting three stars as my expectations were not met at all, and it was very expensive for what it was. Had some fish that was okay, and some flautas that were very mid. Also some fried plantain that was good but it is very difficult to mess that up. They have some fermented pineapple drink and a blended rice rink that were nice. For dessert, they had some bad version of tres leches which was disappointing. Most of the staff members were nice though. All in all, extremely mid food for an expensive price. 100% would not come back.

4.5/5. Food is top-notch. Value is fine. Service is great. Atmosphere - re clientele and vibrancy - is good. I just wish the tables were slightly larger and less packed in.

This is our second time at this restaurant for my daughter and I. Last night it did not disappoint - delicious food, great ambience and incredibly friendly and helpful staff (our server Jaye was so wonderful in every way - thank you!).

Nice food, but v small portions. Margaritas good but small. Food delicious but very small portions. I don't eat much as don't have big appetite, but even I thought "blimey, for that price I could have eaten twice that amount"
