Eli’s Restaurant in Kensington and Chelsea

Hermosa comida auténtica. Los entrantes eran geniales - fantástico hummus casero y envolturas de hojas de vid. Los platos de cuscús y pollo eran igualmente buenos. El servicio era genial - amable y eficiente.

No estoy seguro de todas las reseñas de cinco estrellas. Quizás tuvimos una mala noche, pero cenamos allí con nuestra familia de cuatro y todos estaban decepcionados. El servicio era descuidado (tuvimos que perseguir al servidor para recargas de agua, despejando la mesa, y nuestra factura) y la comida era sosa, lo que fue sorprendente dado que este tipo de cocina es famosa por sus especias y sabores pronunciados. Pido un cous cous con pollo, cordero y salchicha mergez y me pareció que toda la carne estaba muy seca y demasiado cocida mientras que el plato también estaba moderadamente frío. me lleva mucho declinar el cargo de servicio "opcional", que ahora parece estándar en Londres, pero en este caso no dudé en decirle al servidor que lo retire de mi factura. dados los muchos restaurantes estupendos que hay en Londres NO recomendaría este lugar.

Está bien - depende de una buena ubicación. El servicio es terrible - el camarero era perezoso / grosero y ausente. Me temo que él era el dueño.

Pequeño restaurante relajado encantador tocando jazz de fondo francés suave. Cómodos asientos y un servicio rápido para deliciosos platos de Oriente Medio. Grandes sabores y buena presentación. Buena gama de cócteles clásicos - excelente Mojito!

A comida é ótima! Muito saborosa e temperada. As porções são pequenas e para dividir, mas a quantidade recomendada de 3 pratos por pessoa é exagerada. Dividimos 4 pratos entre 3 pessoas e foi suficiente.

Our first food in London and maybe the best falafel we ever ate! Cozy equipment, polite owner, stylish dish, quiet place in late afternoon.

We were staying in the area and looking for somewhere to have dinner. We chanced upon Eli's and were so pleased we did. We weren't hugely hungry so only had main courses (two of the couscous dishes) with wine, followed by Turkish coffee. It was excellent and very reasonably priced for what is an expensive part of town. We enjoyed chatting with the owner, too. Highly recommended!

Well this is my 2nd visit to Eli’s and it wont be the last..the food is delicious and the atmosphere, the decors are excellent with the little details I recommend it to everyone because it was various types of food Thank you for your great food

So impressed with this little gem of a restaurant. There were 7 of us on a family girls day out, visited last Saturday. Such a lovely warm welcome. The place is so cute with holiday vibes. The food was delicious (had the lamb couscous), all freshly made and the cocktails were amazing! Would certainly recommend visiting here, but book because it’s quite small and busy. And will certainly be returning.

Perfect gem. Small independent & reasonably priced restaurant owned and run by a friendly couple who accommodated nine of us for a birthday lunch yesterday, We enjoyed Mezze, spit roast chicken, and couscous. Restaurant situated in a quiet pedestrianised area within walking distance of Hyde Park.

Un repas au calme avec une ambiance musicale française. Un service et un accueil agréable. Bref, on a bien aimé ce moment en famille !!!

We were looking for a nice independent restaurant whilst staying in the Kensington area and after a bit of Googling chose Eli's, as we liked the look of the menu, we weren't disappointed! I started with the chicken livers which were excellent, my husband had the grilled halloumi which was also delicious. We then shared half a chicken with fries, spinach and green beans as side orders, plenty for 2 people. Service was friendly and we really enjoyed our evening.

Sorry but this place is incredibly slow. It is fine to be waiting 30 minutes at the push in any place for any food, but this place is just beyond my nerves capacity.

Pranzo improvvisato ..il cibo è preparato e presentato molto bene. Abbiamo preso delle "mezze" fredde oltre a dei falafel ed halloumi grigliato. Tutto ottimo. Poi del Cous cous con verdure ed infine un buonissimo caffè turco accompagnato da un piccolo baklava. Ci tornerò

Had dinner here twice as it was so delicious the first time. Best to have reservations as they fill seats quickly. Roasted chicken done perfectly. Couscous with lamb so tasty and plenty of veggies included. Very nice wine selection. Decor is lovely. Staff working very hard and we much appreciated all they did to make our 2 visits so enjoyable.

Beautiful food! So fresh & delicious. Wonderful hosts made us feel so welcomed. Ingredients are wonderful and all good cooked to perfection. Cosy and fun place to eat even if you’re on your own. We will visit again when next in town. Highly recommend .

Very pleasant small neighborhood restaurant with Mediterranean menu. Run by lovely husband and wife team. Lots of South Kensington neighborhood regulars including for take out. The owners are friendly and personable, they brought me a complimentary desert just because i had asked what it was and mentioned I never had it. They clearly work hard and take great pride in the work. Food was good, I had several appetizers, and portions were generous.
