recently visited Fiona's Tea Room and was disappointed by the coffee. I was expecting a rich, flavorful cup, but instead, it was weak and lacked depth. The taste was watery, almost as if it had been brewed from low-quality beans or over-diluted. Even after adding sugar and milk, it couldn't be salvaged. For a place that prides itself on its selection, I expected much more. The atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. Wouldn’t recommend it to any serious coffee lovers.

Amazing food for amazing prices and lovely staff. I couldn’t believe how much we got for our afternoon tea at such a great price. I even took some home. Everything was so tasty and the staff were so attentive. I will definitely be back thank you.

Had the fish finger sandwich and chips. Cheap very thin bread, cheap fish fingers and chips were no better. It only takes a nice load, battered fish fingers, lettuce and some mayo and I’d come back. No thought put into it at all. Greasy kitchen smell was off putting, from outside!

Disappointing overall.. Really let down with the cream tea and scone option. The 1 scone tasted nice enough, but the jam was more of a jelly, the sort you'd get if you had bought the cheapest jam on offer at your local supermarket. I expect at least one plump strawberry?. So in summary another scone and better quality jam please would improve the experience so much more. It was over £10 for 2 people so not the cheapest. For that money people expect better.

Visited here for breakfast. Chose the Traditional English at a cost of £7.80 I was served a tiny sausage, tiny piece of bacon, hash brown, slice of toast, and a small spoon full of dried out baked beans. Add to that it was just about warm. Truly the worst breakfast I have ever been served for the price. Owners, would you have been happy to be served that for £7.80? Never again.

Visited Fiona's tea room today, to treat ourselves to afternoon tea, and what a fantastic time we had! The tea room is situated in an old mill that doubles as an antique centre, this is reflected in the decoration, filled shelves and bric a brac distributed around the room. The meal itself was beautifully served, very generous and freshly made. Sandwiches were well filled and tasty, huge scones with the usual accompaniments plus the nicest fresh strawberries I have had in a while, then there was the cake stand, where do I start? It was filled with at least five different types of cake, two generous slices of each, so plenty for the two of us. For us it was almost too much, and had we wanted we could have ordered more of anything! We took a look at the daily menu and as you would expect Fiona's also serves hot meals, breakfasts, snacks, cream teas, as well as the afternoon tea we had. If you are in the area and want quality meals in an unusual setting, then you really should give Fiona's tea room a try.

This was the worst experience of a bakery I've had, I ordered 2 bacon rolls, asked for well done bacon , the lady looked at me funny and had the hump over this, on receiving my rolls both bacon was just cooked I would say raw, the food my friend had was tasteless and he threw his in the bin, I would not class this as even dog food , disgusting experience

I had heard a lot about this place and decided to rty it. The place was spotlessly clean and we were served pretty quickly and was very friendly and welcoming. All food is cooked to order. There was no delay in getting the food. I had a mixed grill. But it was more a glorified breakfast. Decent size portion and the food was cooked nicely. But nothing to write home about. This is a place where you are satisfied, but not overly impressed food wise. But the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes up for it. I would certainly have no problem going there again.

I had a really enjoyable experience at the Edmund Tylney. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The pub has a nice atmosphere and is a great place to meet up with friends.

After changing many landlords, trying to be a posh restaurant, a pizzeria, a sports bar and just the village pub-which is what this establishment was most successful at (in particular during lockdown it provided a welcome chilling opportunity with its large beer garden and kids area) … this longstanding local pub has closed down. Bookham locals will miss its familiar band nights and outdoor summer time drinking
