Firebellys in Croydon

This used to be a fantastic pizza place. Sadly I think it is under new management and has gone downhill. Toppings are stingy and are swamped by a lot of cheap cheese. Tastes cheap and poor quality. Really sad as this used to be so good

Tried this because of the reviews on just eat. Really wasn't good food. Meatballs were smaller than a 2p coin. Chicken was so dry and just not nice. Ended up throwing the whole lot away. Never again!

Please do not bother as we waited two hours for our delivery, told numerous times it was on its way. They make excuse after excuse of wrong post codes given and the like. It’s a shame as a couple of years ago their Pizzas were great, they just don’t have the staff it would seem.

Waited 1hr 20 mins..pizza cold..not what I ordered..called the shop and the manager shouted at me!! He said the driver got lost but when he delivered it to me there was steam coming out of the box!

This is an awful place with customer service that I’ve never experienced before. About a week ago my son ordered pizza from here via just eat. He waited and waited and in the end the shop was shut so didn’t get his pizza. He tried again tonight and the same happened and he called them. The man on the phone was so rude and told him last time the driver went to the address and there was no answer. Absolute lies! We asked why they didn’t Call his phone then, maybe they were at the wrong address. He didn’t answer the question and said he’s going to call the police. We called back several times and he kept putting the phone down. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!

Genuine stone-baked, wood-fired oven typa ting. Y'get me? If you want thousands of calories and cheese-based heart attacks, go to Papa Johns. You'll be guffing all night. But if you want a cracking pizza with that authentic quality, walk the feck right in here and get the Hawaiian. Pineapple DOES belong on a pizza.

Cooked fresh and worth the wait, when the kids go for KFC etc I go here. Friendly staff, and they will cook/keep food until you return (after 15 mins) with you only paying when you collect, Never had a bad meal.

Genuine wood fired pizza. Generous with the toppings. Will be happy to try more flavours from here again sometime soon.

Quite simply the best pizza around . Good toppings and as important good base. If you want it thin and crispy no problem

This place does the best pizza I’ve had since going to Italy. It’s what I’d call proper authentic pizza on a thin base with actual fresh toppings with a lovely flavoursome plum tomato sauce base. I’ve tried pretty much all the pizza delivery places and restaurants nearby and Firebellys is by far the best by a mile. If you want a decent, flavoursome pizza that’s hot fresh and tasty then this is the place for you. They’ve always been early on their delivery times too and the drivers have always been friendly so I have zero complaints.

Had a takeaway pepperoni, mixed peppers, red onion and mushroom pizza from here last night. service prompt and friendly, order was accurate and the pizza was great. £10.99 (a deal was on apparently) for a perfectly cooked 16" Pizza and the service above, what more could you want from a pizza house. Beats all the local chain stores hands down.

Having just moved to caterham we tried this place having Italian parents I like a good pizza ! Right this is not a pizza like from Italy but we are not in Italy and it's beats pizza hunt dominos and papa johns pizza by a long way will order again ;)

Ordered a takeaway from these guys through hungry house and was given an eta of 1950. The food arrived an hour late. The staff on the phone were rude & kept fobbing me off with 'be there soon' which wasn't the case.

I ordered a salad and carbonara to takeaway and both were extremely tasty! The staff were friendly too

Best pizza I have had since I was in the US last October and that is the highest praise I can give Firebellys. I recently went to a Pizza Pilgrim in Central London - a much praised pizza restaurant which quite frankly was crap - see my review. Firebellys is excellent. Not greasy at all and full of flavour. Also the wings are excellent even if that are more BBQ than buffalo. If you live in the Croydon area and are looking for pizza then at the moment this is the place.

Was really impressed with the pizzas we received. They were thin base, fresh toppings and all round very tasty. A nice healthy option similar to what you'd expect when eating out at a nice Italian restaurant.

You must try this place! Uses the freshest ingredients and low saturated fats. Fresh pizza made for scratch in a proper pizza oven, delicious! My favourite is The Ranch Pizza. They also do chicken dishes as takeaway.

My boyfriend and I went to Firebellys for dinner as we had previously enjoyed a takeaway however the restaurant is lifeless due to it being very small and relatively unknown as a place to go and eat. The food though was fabulous and even fresher being on the premises. However the phone constantly rang and as the only customers we felt ignored as food orders came in and disappeared to telephone orders. A shame as the foods lovely, just better to eat at home

had a pizza and garlic bread with cheese at firebellys yesterday . it was fantastic , so fresh was the dough . i had an englishman from thier menu with the fried egg . the wood fired oven gave a lovely warm feeling as you sat in the restaurant .well done firebellys

Healthy takeaway - stone baked pizza and fresh salads
