FOODIES in Redbridge

I ordered food from Foodies who call themselves super spuds on uber eats. They had an offer on buy one get one free. I ordered two jacket potatoes and when they arrived, bearing in mind I don’t live far from them at all, one of the boxes came open and spilt. When I contacted the shop she refused to help me and said next time she can give me a discount. I explained to her there won’t be a next time as the service they provided was awful and she was really rude and refused to listen to anything I was saying. She wouldn’t let me get a word in. She kept telling me it’s not their fault! She offered to give me free sauce bearing in mind my whole order was ruined. The customer service I received was outrageous. She literally said many times that she was unable to do anything for me. She told me to make my own way to the shop when the whole point I went through uber eats was to not go there in the first place. She told me that’s fine then claim your money back from uber eats. I am disgusted and left upset by what has happened over the phone today and blaming others. Telling me the reason this happened was because of the steam from the food. Are you for real! Please be careful when ordering from them on uber eats and your food won’t arrive in one piece.

Ordered double smash beef burger and it was delicious and tender. Highly recommend! I was taken aback by the taste of this smash burger as it had everything you could imagine ,I would definitely order from here again

Food came pink! Burger was not cooked and was so cold. Burger was so dry and didn’t have the sauce or onions it mentioned on the website. A BIR DISAPPOINTMENT

The workers were fantastic and very kind to me and my friends, the food was nice and great portions for the price extremely filling and good for lunch. The atmosphere is also very nice and cute interior, will visit again!

Best burgers and the best service

Great customer service but the food was meh. Good for the price but nothing special. Loaded fries drowned in Algerian sauce but the chicken tikka was nice. Burger is a 4/10

Very nice food and very good customer service

The burger was nice although I would say the bun that is used does not work well with this as it rips and slides off. Loaded fries was nice although it is basically chips and bits of chicken drenched in Algerian sauce. Overall this place has potential to improve.

Best food I’ve had in a while would recommend if you wanted to get a quick food that will fill you up and have you satisfied. Flavours are top service is top and the hygiene is top.

The food had the taste there but there was little to no effort in preparing or packaging every single item was ice cold as if it’s had been sitting for 30 minutes. A little foil or effort goes a long way the buns were stale and not soft very disappointed since I last ate here. If your doing offers make an little effort and try to keep the food warm

They make the best milk cakes. Better than Leto i'd say.

Alhamdulillah, this restaurant offers excellent halal food. I really enjoy their breakfast and loaded fries.

I used to go here but was put off when I was told I didn’t ask for a certain order when that’s the only thing I eat when I go there. Understandable if he misheard but telling me I didn’t mention that thing and I was wasting food that they made instead was my last straw. Terrible service and expensive for no reason. Wouldn’t recommend.

Highly recommend this place!! The food was really good. Cooked to perfection. Everything was so well flavoured and the service was amazing. The ladies who are working there have some of the best customer service I have come across. They are very polite and friendly. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

The food here is lovely! Had the house secret panini (less sweetcorn) and it was brilliant. Best chicken tikka panini I’ve ever tasted! Took a while to arrive but was definitely worth the wait ☺️

Food was terrible and tiny portion size and expensive , spent about 8.50 on breakfast and it didnt even fill me up in the slightest. Still starving and i dont eat much. Atmosphere terrible. Overall bad and avoid.

Ordered a Signature Burger 🍔 with double patty. Overall the burger was fine but a bit more salty. The fries were really good. The service was terrible as it took like 30 minutes to make our order ready 🤦🏻

We were served by the owner, she was really lovely, and the food was really good- ordered for my whole family who are usually big critics but they absolutely loved the wraps!! They also have tango ice blast which kids loved :)

The food is nice (burgers and loaded fries in particular) and stands out from other options in the area. But the milkshakes are not recommended - they are small but expensive and the Bueno milkshake felt like it was milk with small bits of chocolate in it. Ordered through UberEats and on both occasions, the food was barely warm. It’s also quite pricey compared to alternative options and I’m not sure it’s worth the extra cost. Might be better to dine in or pick up yourself than getting it delivered.

Ordered food for a party of 30 people and absolutely everyone loved the food- everyone kept asking me where we got the food from- We got grilled chicken wraps, beef burgers, grilled chicken burgers, chicken strips, and fries Called beforehand and order was ready on time and staff were great. Highly recommend, I keep travelling to get food from here because it’s so good!

Firstly I have to say that the customer service was very good as me and my sister were new to the restaurant we had a lot of questions lol but the young fella was informative and polite. Worst experience with the staff. staff was so rude and so bad disrespectful. The restaurant is not at all busy but still I waited 30minutes for my order and then asked about my order they keep saying to wait and If not u can cancel your order no problem. Staff has no proper response towards customers even they ask demand to give 5star to their restaurant 😂😂

Chips were really hard and dark ? Maybe Old oil. Coffee was good. I asked for extra hot breakfast was good but mushrooms over cooked.

I wanted a halal version of a sausage and Egg McMuffin for breakfast on the go, I asked if they knew what an Egg McMuffin was and even showed them a pic on my phone. They didn't know what is was. So I went for their halal bacon and egg roll. Verdict, don't bother. If you want a good Egg McMuffin you know exactly where to go.

visited with my family on friday 17th Nov. The staff was so friendly. never thought i would enjoy the food, so i started to eat and thought OMG this is delicious. Burgers are made themselves this adds an extra touch. i will definitely go there again.

Absolutely appalling and rude staff. The place was not busy they clearly had online orders and with three staff completely overrun. I waited 40 minutes for my order which they said was going to be 15mins. However food was great!

Absolutely love this place and especially the loaded fries. Service was amazing. Staff was pretty friendly and cool enough. I would recommend this place to try those loaded fries.

We had full English breakfast and Foodies burger, and loaded meaty fries. All food was good, it wasn't amazing, but definitely was enjoyable. Nothing to complain about except I wish they had a more suger free drink options, and the classic Mirninda. They do have Tango Ice Blast for those who want it. I would recommend this as a quick bite if I was passing by

Quite expensive and usual taste

First time I got the meat burger with mushrooms sauce was very nice. Second the quality of the meat was poor and I could not taste the mushrooms. They need to be consistent and improve quality of the meat!

Have ordered from here many a time and when it’s good it’s really good. Paninis are tasty and their buffalo chicken bites go down really well. The reason for a 4* is because there has been on more than one occasion that the food has turned up burnt and the delivery times can be over a hour for some reason for stuff that shouldn’t take that long to cook. Overall experience is positive though

Formost, Alhamdulillah for 100% Halal food. Everything was nice and quality full food, front sttuf jaisa was nice guy, stuff service was friendly & appreciative. always hits the spot when you need a quick bite delivered. never lacking on flavour , sauce , freshness. have never actually been inside but it would probably taste even better there. not saying it’s the world best food , but it does what it says on the tin. in the local area it’s the best option as far as american style takeaway. and good for the price too.

finally after several attempts I got to come here! I ordered the burger double stacker on a boring bun & the loaded chips with chicken tikka! To be fair it wasn’t bad nor was it wow overall & nothing to rave about frankly. However my main reason why I so wanted go there is to try the strawberry & cardamom milk cake! & guess what on a hot sunny day, they had NO desserts! None whatsoever! Whaaaaat we said with a huge disappointment, & a simple apology with a shrug of shoulders, & said they run out at 3pm (how hilarious we thought 🤣). Anyways, it’s ok, & averagely priced. I would say pop in if only you’re passing by and hungry, otherwise there are much much better ones out there by miles by far!!

I placed order today for cheesy chips and "jumbo" panini. Its not a jumbo to start with dont state it if its not true. Almost 5£ for SMALL CHIPS! barely cheese either give what i pay for or dont sell at all. Liers!!! Jumbo and the word melt what did you melt tuna with no cheese you need to make serious upgrades i wont leave this lik3 this i was honestly ripped off in day light! Sunday morning thanks

If you in or around High Road area YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The burgers are to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an exceptional customer service experience.

Absolutely delicious, I had the all day breakfast and saw another customer get loaded fries which looked amazing. I ended up buying it and I have to say its one of the best I've had, it was that good that I came here to leave a review. I don't normally do that A+++++

I must admit my in shop experiece was disappointing. I've been a customer of foodies for a while, primarily ordering online however I decided to treat my son to a late afternoon lunch/early dinner. We ordered the fully loaded beef fries and beef wrap. The fries were ok but not as loaded as they come when ordering online previously and the wrap, was extremely soggy, with far too much lettuce and just not enough beef. The decor of the venue is nice and the venue was clean. Service was great.parking is poor before 1830 hours otherwise it's pay and display with not many spaces nearby.

The food is so over priced now. Loaded chips for over £8.40 and beef burger tastes like it has some weird expired coriander in it. Inedible* How hard is it to make a beef burger taste good? Salt,pepper and breadcrumbs. May I also add that there's now over 4 shops listed on Uber eats under this same address. Is that even allowed?

Ordered full English, however my beans were cold and when asked to warm it up, they did, however not got enough, so went with it. The milk cake they offer is a delight. I was left disappointed with the full English.

Not impressed with quality of food- Ordered cheesy chips and literally got chips with grated cheese on top of it beef burger was undercooked. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately

Foodies is a great place to eat, it is consistent and good quality food. I go for the double beef burger and signature fries and it always tastes the same. The meat is very high quality. Their menu is good but if you stray too much from the popular items most of the stuff is out of stock. All in all their breakfast options are good.

Absolutely love these burgers. So succulent and tender whilst being full of flavours. To all the burger lovers, make sure you eat them immediately rather than taking them away and eating later as it’s always best to eat them when freshly made. The loaded fries are exceptional too. I usually do takeaways from here as well but then just eat these in the car to avoid them being moist or soggy. Would recommend these 100% and definitely visit again. 🙌

Well. I can’t get my money back so I dropped where i payed. Food comes different then what was ordered. Refund expecting a picture of wrong order. I refuse to follow it because my word should be taken seriously restaurant knew about it but because of it they didn’t pay me back for restaurant mistake. I think they should expect pictures from restaurant and not customers as we don’t have signed contracts with them. We pay for service and it wasn’t exact service i have paid for. I can’t described a food but this is a policy that restaurant made with this delivery agency so even if they apologise I haven’t eat and lost my money

No, no and no. Where to begin, upon arrival the person said that it would be a 20 minute wait till we can order. After 30 minutes, we had to ask if it would be much longer, then they said another 10. They suddenly changed their mind and said we can order now and I asked if it would be long and they said they will make it very quick. The food arrived way too quick as the burgers as well as the chips were undercooked. The burgers were still pink on the inside and seemed to be coated with a thick layer of salt. If you intend to order the cheesy fries, I suggest you take your own cheese. Surprisingly the chips had no salt whatsoever and therefore bland. The customer service was as bland as the chips. No smiles, no hellos. The tables weren't cleared up and half the time, there was no one there to ask for anything. When we complained about the burger being too salty he just shrugged and said that's how the burgers come and he can't do anything about it and it's personal preference. If you end up coming here, be prepared to feel as salty as the burgers after you pay for such inedible food. Please avoid dissapointment and do not go here. Our belly also felt weird after eating this food. The best part about our food was the bottled water and canned drink.

Just pieces if grilled chicken thrown in panini , no cheese no salad no sauces... waste of money
