Potatoes not cooked properly. Fish was variable in quality with some in my group with overcooked portions. Also not at all the "feast" described as some of us left still feeling hungry!

Gracias equipo FORZA!

He estado en Forzawin en Peckham un par de veces. Una vez para el verano Proyecto - 35 libras por persona (que al principio me pareció un poco caro, pero es más o menos normal para un especial/buena comida fuera dondequiera en Londres) y sus 'pasta y alcohol para una noche cada miércoles 10 libras' - 10 libras carne o verduras pasta y una copa de vino o cerveza;

I ordered the Neopolitan pasta - I'm not kidding, it was Tesco value spaghetti with tinned tomatoes. About four mouthfuls of it. For £10. Outrageously overpriced and bland, with half a small tumbler of win. Would never, ever return.

I had a fantastic evening at Forza Win. I love this type of meal, big long tables, chatting with new friends and a family style sharing plates. The food was simple, fresh and tasty. The chickens were on display, turning on the spit roast from when we arrived and definitely added to the theatre of an open plan kitchen. Complimentary cocktail on arrival was a nice touch, and the wine we purchased with the meal was reasonably priced and delicious. Great evening, would definitely recommend for a relaxed meal which is a bit different from your traditional restaurant environment. Be quick to book as it sold out fast and we were a group of three with more friends who wanted to come but weren't fast enough.

Went to Forza Win with a large group last night. Food tasted good (not nearly enough) but the free cocktail was awful. Plates were cracked, not enough cutlery to go round and barely enough space on the tables and benches for everyone to sit. I straddled a table leg all night. We had to carve our chicken by ourselves, so by the time we ate, it was cold. There was just enough to fill your tummy, but a chicken between 7 was definitely a stretch. The cocktails were reasonably priced but were free poured - so you hardly got much at all. The toilets were barely enclosed - and unisex. I felt quite unsafe walking to the venue through a rather dodgy looking high street and on to a deserted industrial estate. I only had fun as I was in good company. I could have done this anywhere - especially somewhere that didn't cost £35 a head. Would not return or recommend.

Pasta and a glass of wine for a tenner on a Wednesday night - what's not to like? It's not even a small portion of pasta - it's blimmin huge! And really good. Been twice, will go again - it's local, easy, fun and friendly. I'm surprised at the negative reviews. I suppose you'd be disappointed if you were expecting a fancy Italian restaurant - this is a pop up hang out that's well worth a visit.

In my opinion Forza Win is a waste of money and an all-round bad experience! If I am honest I not in to ‘quirky’ pop up restaurants but was dragged along by friends who wanted to try something different. I am more of the conventional restaurant type, however if you are more open minded it may be more your cup of tea. In saying that there a few key points which I’m not sure even the most liberal hipster could ignore....1) the smell of raw chicken when you walk in to the warehouse (on an industrial estate), 2) how cold it was, even with a heater in one corner 3) the over whelming amount of smoke produced by the BBQ which left me with a horrendous head ache and sick feeling on leaving and the next morning (and I wasn’t drinking for reasons which will become obvious in a second) – so essential we all suffered mild carbon monoxide poisoning! Also the smell of the smoke was impossible to remove from my hair and clothes. For those more open minded they may not be bothered by the staffs bikes parked next to tables, the fact you have to all squeeze on to two long tables to try fit everyone in (despite selling tickets in advance so know exactly how many customers to expect), having to share platters of food with strangers essentially leaving you very little food when you are forced to tag on to the end of larger groups. Also not enough bowls for everyone to eat the broth starter off, meaning some are forced to attempt to eat it off plates (oh yes again despite knowing how many are attending not enough crockery is provided), no serving spoons so having to use your own cutlery (again not ideal when sharing with strangers who have eaten with the forks on the previous course!), the one free cocktail served in a dirty drinking glass that had clearly not been washed properly plus it tasted gross – hence my choice not to carry on drinking. As for the food, it was edible, that’s about it. Their ‘famous’ chicken was on the dry side and by the time it is carved at the table it has gone cold and you are serving on to cold plates which you have already eaten a couple of other course off. The other courses were fine, but nothing special and essentially you are paying £35 upfront for roast chicken, a few sides and broth. There is little to no service, so your money is certainly not going towards that, and bear in mind apart from your free cocktail on arrival you are charged for all other drinks. They ran out of/didn’t stock basic soft drinks like soda water or coke leaving those who are not drinking with warm tap water. My advice would be to avoid although if you are feeling adventurous my tops tips to enjoy the evening would be to 1) go in clothes you don’t mind sticking of smoke after (include jackets and handbags as it really does cling and linger on everything), 2) site as far away from the kitchen as possible, by the door to get fresh air and avoid the C02 headache we walked away with and 3) be prepared to have to make new friends so you can charm them in to giving you more food from the platters!!!

SO Forza Win make you pay before you have eaten. This costs a whopping £35. You then enter their "quirky" restaurant (which is a freezing cold warehouse, shared tables, cheap-looking stirling board walls and badly-designed toilets) to be "greeted" by one of the staff who extols the "experience" you are about to be part of... oh and "don't forget to buy some of our wine". So you wait and you buy wine from the bar - not cheap wine either and don't forget that this is on top of the £35 you paid a few weeks ago (but have forgotten about). The food arrives on a shared plate so woebetide you if you don't know your companions as they may have *2* slices of bread, thus leaving you with nowt. The chickens also arrive en masse... and the staff do not carve it for you (remember this cost you £35... so where is the service?). Half an hour later you may get some broccoli and then some char-grilled leeks (these count as a course each... yes that's 2 of your 5 courses gone in side veg). Pudding is a tiny ramekin of rhubarb and creme anglais. The "hostess" keeps reminding you to buy more booze at the bar.So, to re-cap: cheap-looking venue, no service, really expensive, 1 free drink (the rest you have to buy on top of your £35).OH! And for vegetarians? Instead of a chicken they will serve you some "barbecued heritage carrots"... errr.....??? And these will arrive 40 minutes after every one else's.

A Londra !! ) pero' in compenso ti offrono delle coperte che puoi prendere da alcuni pancali (unico arredamento oltre i tavoli) posti all' ingresso. Ambiente alternativo-radical chic-underground-new age etc etc.

Extremely unprofessional staff! Tall, bold older waiter served our bill and said -SPLIT ? We looked at him shocked, I asked that’s strange - do you get this often? He responded with attitude - of course, it’s 2025 women pay the bills, it’s equality! Excuse me ? How rude! It’s a Yes or No question, you don’t get to push your hatered towards women on clients! We will never go back there!

We spent £122 for two, and while the service was fine, the food and drink were disappointing. The food wasn’t tasty and very overpriced at £22 for a bland saffron risotto and thick chewy agnolotti. Nothing was “wrong” per se, rather it was just incredibly basic and lacked substance and flavour. Drinks were also below par; the Aperol Spritz was flat, and the Negroni was just passable. While the salad, peach mozzarella, and gnocco fritto were decent, the overall quality didn’t justify the price. At this price point, places like Osteria Romana or Manteca offer far superior food and drinks. The high overall ratings made us expect much better. Perhaps we picked a bad day, but there should be no exceptions at this price point. It feels like we dined at a completely different restaurant than the one described in the reviews. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Came to drink a "simple" whiskey without ice and a cocktail, we let ourselves be carried away by a very good atmosphere. The prices no, they are not excessive. And as a basic cook I saw and felt good dishes passing me by.... But it was too late. Carefree. And the service. impeccable, very professional, very neat and smiling. THANKS
