Franco Manca Cheltenham in Cheltenham

The pizza was absolutely delicious but unfortunately we were sat at our table for about 30minutes before we even got asked if we wanted a drink? The restaurant was not even busy with many vacant tables so not sure what happened there? The Women who did eventually serve us was extremely warm & welcoming & friendly. Due to the long wait before getting served meant we had to rush our food & could not have desert as we had to be at the cinema afterwards which was a shame & we were looking forward to trying the Tiramisu. Would try again as pizza was incredible but would be put off if the service was the same as before.

Extremely good authentic style pizza. The service is also very friendly and very fast even on a fairly busy Saturday evening. Will definitely be coming back

We had a very disappointing experience. The pizzas were very sloppy, wet & cold. It was not a crispy base. Because of this, the flavour was non exsistant. I don't usually like complaining, but It felt like I was eating a roti, not a pizza! The white wine was also delivered in a water glass for some reason... We thought it was the apple juice at first, the juice didn't arrive until after the meal. No extra mozzarella was given to us even after asking the waiter. To make it worse, the olive oils were placed on our table after we finished. This was a very different experience compared to different Franco Manca's.. I could've eaten at home for a better experience.. will not return.

Our pizza cravings satisfied! Truly authentic Italian pizza, we ordered two and they were both really good and unique. We sat by the pizza station and our toddler was able to see the process. We will be back!

Tasty Pizzas served fresh and fast. Regularly visit Franco Manca and never been let down, always delivers and always leaves me wanting to come back again. The Cheltenham branch is a lovely place with a great vibe and the staff are all lovely too- from the waitresses/waiters to the chefs! Would absolutely recommend!

Pizza were lovely. Great watching, friendly chef. Service was poor, no eye contact, or check if wanted any other course. Or to settle bill. Met at door quite rudely as did not book, and restaurant had 4 out of the 7 front tables free For whole time we were in there. Back section of restaurant closed off on a Saturday. Unsure if it's just catering for take outs!

We where really looking forward to our pizzas at Franco manca. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. The music was very loud meaning people have to raise their voices to compensate creating a loud and jarring atmosphere. Having Asperger's I found it quite triggering. And couldn't relax. The food took a while to come we where giving out sauces a good 15 minutes before our starters came out. It does seem that delivery is given priority meaning the cooking team is constantly rushing to get food out and attention to detail is the missed. The pizzas unfortunately where soggy and the garnish in both the drinks and on top of the pizzas where wilted and had dark spots. We decided not to say anything as we where both just really hungry and wanted to eat something. The staff where attentive and friendly so shout out to them.

This place has always been great. Brilliant staff, great pizza, super friendly. We’ve been going since it opened. Last night we left hungry after waiting 45 minutes for food. Apparently Deliveroo orders are prioritised over customers seated in the restaurant. We saw the same Deliveroo guy come and go three times whilst waiting. Asked for our food a few times, kept being told it would be 10-15 minutes, but the food never came. In the end, the manager tried to get the pizza cooks to just make our food, and they started shouting at her. We just left, they didn’t even notice.

Good food. £30 for two pizzas and garlic bread delivered in 20 mins. Sourdough which is a great touch. Meat toppings were a little shy but all in all decent

The staff could not have done more for us. It was my son's eleventh birthday and I was told I could bring a cake for him. I thought it would be a question of simply handing out slices on napkins but to my surprise, the staff were ready and on hand to put candles on it, cut and serve it and sing happy birthday. They made a lovely evening even more special and I'm very grateful.

Best pizza in Cheltenham, always have good and interesting specials and the pizza is always top notch and quick. I don't usually enjoy chains but this place is much better than other pizza places near by.

The food was super good, pizza tasted like it was from Italy, thin and made well. I really recommend the garlic oil on the table as it was nice to have with the crust. Our waitress was an absolute gem, and the music playing was so good by boyfriend had to shazam it. Me and my boyfriend went there for dinner, were really pleased.

The food was very disappointing and expensive for what it was. The side salad was limp and drenched in salad dressing. The pizzas were undercooked and the toppings on the meagre side. The venue was noisy and overlit. No ambience. Will not return.

Such a shame, the attitude and general un welcoming manner of the waitress really put a damper on the whole experience. The middle aged dark haired lady was short and snappy with each encounter. Really like the place but probably won't return with such poor customer service. I guess its OK to have a bad day and take it out on your customers.

Ordered a take away and although more expensive than others the experience was worth it. The four different pizzas we ordered were cooked to perfection. They offered vegan options and the ability to swap out ingredients as well as adding all the extras you could possibly want. The pizzas were ready on time when we went to pick up and were hot when we got them home. Yes we will be ordering again

Called in here after a recent meal at Zizi's in Cheltenham and this was a million times better. Great pizzas and better service. Value for money compared to Pizza Express and Zizi's is fantastic. Great location too.

Popped in for a take away, staff were very welcoming, service was extremely quick, and the pizza was like authentic Italian style! Relatively cheap for Cheltenham too.

Menu is different to most other pizza providers and reviews are good, so I thought I'd try Franco for the first time as a delivery as football was on. Pizza arrived via Just Eat at the time advised. Pizza was very thin and not topped up to the edges. It was supposedly cut, but wasn't done properly so it tore. Very hard to handle. Tasty but absolutely STONE COLD. Not even warm. Perhaps the thin crust is the cause? I don't think I'd order delivery again. I will possibly give the eat-in a go but, unfortunately, a bit disappointed. Sorry.

Excellent pizza dough... the seasoning isn't up to par, however, with the tomato being too dry and the buffalo mozzarella not being the best. With a little effort... it would be the best

We went for lunch. The waiting staff were friendly, helpful and very prompt. We were able to watch as our food was prepared and it was fast! Very fast!! The pizzas were excellent and just the right size - not too big and not too small, however, the desserts were a little on the small side.

The Franco Manca chain started a few years back and we first visited the one in Chiswick High Road. They all offer the same menu which uses a lot of local products. They all have a good ambiance and surroundings are simple but very pleasant. If you like pizza, then you'll love Franco Manca. There are other dishes on the menu as well as specials on the board. But the pizzas are great and cooked in a traditional oven. The menu isn't huge, but most people are likely to be able to enjoy three courses without too much fuss. The benefits of a relatively small menu is that they are hugely competitive on price. We've always found that eating in Franco Manca is a lot cheaper than say a Pizza Express, yet the food is every bit as good if not better. The Cheltenham restaurant also has a large function room upstairs that can be hired for parties or meetings. So in summary, good food, great value in a nice setting served by really pleasant staff. If you are looking for food pizza, head here!

Arrived not long before closing time without booking the week before Christmas.... feared the worst, but we were welcomed in, received great service, were not rushed and the pizzas were excellent. As it was late, it was a little quiet in terms of atmosphere but it looked like a great spot and location.

Managed to get in as I think they were short staffed and had a few tables booked. Pizza was good, went for the "made for Franca manca" which had roasted burratta on top. Also had the San nazzara tomatoes salad which was tasty as a side dish.

Really lovely food, absolutely lovely people! Overall had a great time! Would definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Franco Manca in Cheltenham, and I must say that the experience was excellent. This is my third time here and my second review. Once again the pizza was perfect and the service matched. The manager (Adam I think) was amazing with my young son, made him feel part of it all and treated him like a king. Cheltenham Franco Manca is a credit to your business. I have eaten at Franco Manca Cheltenham, many times now, as part of a group or as a couple, and always find the staff very attentive and professional. The GM Adam is always very friendly, and you can see that he really cares about his customers, and the service that his staff give. The food is great, the pizza is really fresh and tasty. I would not hesitate to recommend Franco Manca Cheltenham.

Great pizza, excellent location on a lovely high street

Unfortunately we had to wait a good 5 mins before any staff appeared to seat us but service was friendly and efficient after this, light bright period building. Pity the menu doesn't include some pasta but the burrata pizza I ordered was delicious, house red was v drinkable. Suggestion - if they served using hot plates the pizza would remain hot! Two meals, drinks and coffees was under £35 which seems reasonable, I'd definitely go back.

The place is beautiful but it was the worst pizza I've ever eaten in my life, an extremely thin crust with just a sheet of cheese and tomato paste, horrible.

Came to Cheltenham for a couple days to celebrate my birthday, first day we arrived we had pizza for dinner, we was served straight away and dinner arrived very promptly. We ordered a pudding to try which we wasn't charged for as a treat. The gentleman who served us that evening had a very calm energy about him and I felt so relaxed there, pricing is amazing for what you get - highly recommend 😀

Lovely staff and nice restaurant, but food is so underwhelming. The salads cost £12 and barely contain anything besides half a bag of leaves. Extremely disappointed that this is what I was served as a main course completely not worth it at all!

It is the place we come to for a kids treat lunch. The food is fast, and tasty. A lot of times there are great deals on so it’s amazing value for money. Staff are lovely too! Recently we squeezed in on a Saturday, at lunch, kids ate for free! So the four of us for £25 everyone fed and happy in 45 minutes. Every parents dream.

I love Franco Manca pizzas from my local supermarket, so I thought I would give the dine in experience a try. Neither satisfied or dissatisfied. I will more than likely sticking to the supermarket bought pizza.

Sat outside with excellent service - pizzas were extraordinary with interesting toppings served with a delicious broccoli pesto dip - especially liked the homemade tiramisu for dessert and limencello digestifs which made for an authentic Italian experience! Would 1000% reccommend this place for lunch whilst out shopping in Cheltenham as it has a beautiful location!
