Love this take away. Perfect tasty food. The hot and sour soup is the best by far of others in the area. Fried rice perfect and prawn crackers the same. The prices are amazing for the amount of food you get and the lady that serves is so lovely.. My go to now and I travel to get there. 👌

I've ordered from the Golden Star a handful of times now and it's my go-to choice for a Chinese takeaway from this point on. I have only ever ordered the salt and pepper sharing boxes and can say with certainty that they have been consistently delicious, packed full of food and good value for money each and every time. I have published a photo of each salt and pepper box I've had to date to show this. I can also not fault the service here, I am greeted with a happy smile every time I enter. This is an outstanding example of what a great a Chinese takeaway should be.

Salt and pepper box the real ones know 👌🏻

Unfortunately our regular chinese is closed and so we used this place last night for the first time. Our family of 5 had a dish each, it cost over £40 and each meal was picked at and left. Every meal was swimming in grease, tasteless and looked so bland and non appealing. Wouldnt visit here again and wouldnt recommend, I'd actually advise to stay well away!

One of the best Chinese meals I have ever had, me and my daughter, yung chow fried rice and salt and pepper chicken pieces for me, chloe got Singapore fried rice with salt and pepper chicken pieces

Best Chinese takeaway in my area

Doesn't look the nicest place from the outside but they're very friendly and food was good. Suppose it's down to everyone's personal taste and what you order but my Honey BBQ Ribs and Special Kung Po was lovely.
