First time back in a few years and first time having dinner. Aussie manager made a great wine suggestion and we shared six sharing plates. The artichoke parmesan dip and smoked mackerel mousse were standouts. Front is less noisy, so recommend sitting there if wanting an intimate meal.

Did not meet my expectations! I've eaten dinner here once previously and was very impressed by the quality of the food, originality of the menu, and service. However, I visited this Saturday for brunch and was really disappointed by the food. I ordered the roasted aubergine and chickpea salad with a tahini dressing, I was expecting a reasonable size portion, roasted ingredients and some great flavours. I received a full plate of cos lettuce covered in olive oil with a few loose chickpeas and a few tiny bits of what tasted like boiled aubergine. Would propose taking this off of the menu if this is how it's going to be served! And would recommend others to stick to eggs or other standard brunch options to avoid disappointment!

A real depreciation in food quality standards. Having visited this venue for many years, the quality continues to decline. The full English is unrecognisable - the quality of the sausage has gone from excellent to poor and the kitchen told blatant lies that no ingredients had been switched out. The beans are water and the bacon is now streaky fat and no meat. You’ve lost 4 customers.

I went mid week for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Food and service are excellant (and so personal), as always. The Good Neighbour Camberwell and now Peckham have become one of the few places that I will go back to again and again and take friends too! Can't fault it. Photo below of a sketch, the waitress attending to our table drew for me. So lovely! Thank you.

The food is pretty good and reasonably price, nice atmosphere and staff are friendly and nice. However I’ve had a couple of issues with this branch. First issue was when I called up one morning to book a table for brunch that day, they assured me they had spaces and would seat us. However when we got there at the time we had agreed they had shut the kitchen. The second was this weekend when we were only given one hour to order, eat, and finish our food. We spent a decent amount (£80+) and my friend hadn’t even finished her tea when the staff member was asking us to leave. We checked the time and we had just been there a hour. I won’t be returning as a result of all this as on principles don’t think it’s right to spend so much and not get 1.5hours. Spinach, Ron’s and other places locally are better in my opinion.

Went to good neighbour on a whim when other places were full- never heard of the place before but was so pleasantly surprised. Had no booking but was met on the floor by a lovely host who was welcoming and gave us a table of 4. Wasn’t sure what to drink but the host recommended us a cocktail based on our preferences (i don’t think it was on the menu) which was lovely. I had the gorgonzola gnocci, archichoke dip and prawn croquettes (all of which were recommended). The food was delicious for a mid afternoon snack and was brought out swiftly. I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff who we also had good conversation with. Good neighbour was an unexpected pleasure, I will definitely be heading back- hopefully for bunch which i’ve heard is great!

Came for dinner and we tried around six plates, they're all shares, we loved them but felt the need to give feedback on the almonds, ricotta and tenderstem plate because for us it was unseasoned. We went to this lovely restaurant last night for the first time. Superb small plates, each one a gem. My favourite was the ricotta gnocchi but every plate brought great flavour. The chef is clearly very skilled. The waitress gave great service, and was very patient with my picky taste in wine, rejecting the South African Sauv. Blanc for the much superior Italian, perfect match for the food. The restaurant was quiet for a Thursday, but the interior is simple and modern. Liked it a lot. We will definitely return for more. And finally please can you open a restaurant in Kingston??

Everything took long which happens but the place wasn’t even that busy. When the meal and drinks were finished our server eventually came over and asked if we’d like anything else. We said no and instead of coming back with the bill she just left and stood behind the bar doing nothing as we sat there ready to leave. Eventually I had to go up and ask for the bill even though we were right in front of her with an empty table clearly waiting to leave.

This feels like a restaurant on the brink of closing. Half empty on a Saturday night, half the menu missing, and no full time chef. Staff are nice but have been left with very little to work with. Have really enjoyed the Camberwell location in the past and was excited to try the Peckham branch for brunch today. Called at 12:40 to check if they were open and spoke on the phone with someone super helpful that mentioned we wouldn’t need to book at 1:30pm we should be able to walk up and be served. We chatted about the foods that were on the menu still as they’d run out of a few dishes. Arrived at 1pm (30mins earlier than we mentioned) and were then told they are not serving food anymore in a blasé manner. I mentioned we had just spoke to someone on the phone and they went off and came back a few minutes later and said the kitchens closed and offered no sincerity in delivering the message. Left a bad taste in the mouth and we sadly wont be visiting this place again.

Perfect vibes, especially in the summer months. Myself and my partner came here a few times last summer, and ordered a few tapas type dishes and a cocktail each. I can't exactly remember what we ordered, but it was delicious and we left feeling very content from the experience. The waiter was so attentive - I've never been a big drinker and asked if I could have only 1 shot of alcohol in my beverage, and he went above and beyond and made me a bespoke cocktail not quite on the menu. It was sooo tasty and refreshing, I was in heaven.

Terrible portion sizing; avoid for large groups. Between the group of 11 of us for a birthday celebration, we were only allowed to dine on the set menu option which looked great on paper, however in reality it was very problematic. 1) The dishes were randomly placed across our tables, there would be 3 plates of arancini on one end and none on the other, so people were missing out on dishes without realising. 2) None of the staff we spoke to knew how the dishes were divided between the group; we asked multiple times if it’s one plate between 2 people? How does it work? Etc. The first staff wrongly confirmed with us that it was one plate each then later corrected himself after enquiring internally. At one point, we flagged that there’s 3 small slices of salmon between 5 people. The staff checked & confirmed that there should be exactly 10 pieces across the table in total. We jokingly flagged that should we portion out 9 & three quarters between 11 people? The staff awkwardly laughed it off but did nothing about it. 2 of the diners had to sacrifice. 3) We had 3 small portions of truffle chips to divided between 11 people!! That’s basically 3-4 chips per person, extremely ungenerous. 4) There’s no ‘beef tortellini’ alternative for the vegetarian diners on the table. They simply just had to sit out for the course. 5) Our drinks came after the sharing starters courses In summary, the sharing menu was clearly designed for each diner to one bite of food per dish: ONE croquette, ONE slice of salmon, ONE slice of bread, ONE broccoli, ONE Tortellini. It would leave confused, hungry and frustrated with the staff. I do not recommend this restaurant for group dining.

Lovely place for brunch with friends and family! We have been here quite a few times as we don't live far away, and the service is usually very friendly, and the food is excellent quality and delicious. Usually, I have pancakes, and they always have been great. The only last time I was there (5th of Feb 23), the pancakes were like a cake and not like American pancakes. Not sure what happened there. Also, they ran out of decaffeinated coffee that day, and instead of quickly buying some at the coffee shop next door, they apologised and said they could buy some. It just felt weird. Either just do it or say, we ran out instead of asking your customer what to do :)

Food took a very long time to arrive. It was an interesting concept with all sorts of food, inspired by italian, european, korean, japanese. Food was tasty and nicely plated, but it feels like the concept lacked in continuity and no-one of the dishes were fantastic, they were all average or average+. Service was attentive but slow. It took 20 minutes between getting a drink and getting a bread basket - the restaurant could easily organise itself better between BOH/FOH and bring stuff like bread immediately instead of leaving customers to wait for a very long time for dishes that will take a couple of seconds to get ready.

Very nice local cafè/brunch restaurant. We went there for brunch. Service is very friendly and attentive. Food is good. I ordered the korean chicken burger which was not great. The batter on the chicken was too thick for the size of the fillets (not much chicken). The sauce was quite bland, I would have expected some chilli, the pickled salad was also very plain and had no fermented taste at all. Chips were nice, triple fried, very crispy. Fortunately I also tried a bit of the full english which was nice with good quality ingredients and the pancakes which were also very nice and fluffy. Next time I will order one of the classics.

Went for Sunday brunch and was a little disappointed. On the menu it specifies gluten free bread is available so I assumed this would apply to their sandwiches or even other dishes like the smashed avocado on toast or eggs Benedict. I was however informed that all of those dishes were pre-assembled so couldn't make the substitutions and the only choices I had were the full english or full vegan. left without a choice, I half-heartedly went for full english and it wasn't anything special. I barely ate half of it. I left two stars because the service were kind and the mocktail I had was tasty.

Great food with a creative menu! Love how there is something for everyone - whether you're a meat eating carnivore, a seafood fan or a vegan - there are delicious little plates for you! Service was also great! Only star down is because the outdoor space on the side of the pavement is a little cramped, the neighbouring table people would always end up bumping shoulders or bits of arm with you. The portions are also tiny - perfect for 2 girls but definitely will struggle if I went with the boyf. Also they do not take Amex! Which is always a bit of a let down for a London restaurant charging these prices.

We were absolutely delighted with our first trip to Good Neighbour. Each dish we tried (8 between 2 of us) was well executed with exciting flavour combinations. Particular highlights were the burrata; the aubergine doughnuts and the cauliflower. The service was friendly and attentive and we were very well looked after and there was a lovely buzzy atmosphere. On the wine front we had a special black muscat with dessert which I’ll now look out for. Would be good to see a few more white wines by the glass on the menu next time as selection seemed a bit limited (though I appreciate the reasons for this for a new restaurant). Thanks for a great evening Good Neighbour team - a welcome addition to Peckham, we’ll be back soon!

As always I couldn't decide what to have and end up ordering more than I should as the food is so tasty! This is a regular for me. The staff are wonderful and friendly and the food and drink are of a high quality and gentle on the wallet :)

Always a great place to go! Get away from the usual soulless pubs around the area charging you £8 a pint and get to this proper old school boozer with good beers and great service.
