Fab cafe, the service was SO fast and accommodating. Breakfast bap was 10/10. Highly recommended.

Loved this cute little place! Tried the potato pancakes and the Oreo French toast, and both were great! Also the hot chocolate was awesome! The waiters - absolutely lovely and fun! Also very nice interiors and vibe. Will come back soon :)

Been going here for years. Really disappointed they are sneaking in a 12% service charge. I swear this is recent? Or maybe I’ve only just noticed. Just pay your staff. I didn’t realise it had been snuck on to my bill. I wasn’t shown the full receipt and stupidly paid. It wasn’t until I saw a waitress demand to know why someone next to me wanted it removed, that I clocked what had happened. Won’t be going back now.

Impersonal service and system. I walked asking to sit down for coffee but was told I needed to join the queue outside. I was made to wait in a queue outside despite there being many empty tables, after 10 mins at the front of the queue I was told I wouldn’t be allowed to sit down until my friend arrived. When she arrived 5 mins later I was allowed out of the cold and sat down i asked if we could order coffees straight away as we didn’t have much time left.., but was told no, but somebody would come to our table… after another 5-10 mins wait nobody came to us so we had to go up and ordered take away instead… and join the take away queue… after wasting 25 mins achieving nothing but stress and picking up weird vibes I wish I had gone somewhere else from the first odd interaction there.

THE SERVER(wearing glasses, mustache, blond) TOOK MY PHONE while I was paying. I couldn’t find my phone after he walked away. So i did find my phone using my Apple Watch, and the sound led me straight to the server, who had my phone in his apron pocket. He claimed it was a simple mistake, confusing my phone with the card payment reader. However, the two devices looked nothing alike. Food was great.

Called in for breakfast. It was freshly cooked and good quality. The lady who greeted us and served us was very pleasant and welcoming. Good size portion of food too.

Attitude from the moment you enter is not great, very arrogant and cold. Eggs were fried in old or very cheap oil. Loose tea felt like used several cups.

Great vegetarian and vegan selection amongst the offering. Great atmosphere and service if you can get a table. I thought it was a bit pricey until I saw the serving size. Excellent food

Outstanding breakfast/brunch, great choice, friendly service, great vibe to the place. Big queues by the time we left, must've timed it right, but you can taste why the queues form. Brilliant place for breakfast if in the kings cross area.

Its a great place to have a brunch with friends or couple, very close to St Pancras station, it was full of travellers as its quite convinient for them too. Remember you need to queue outside but its quite fast, it took 5’ for us. The place is very cosy and the food was very good and decent quantities. They should review the coffee quality, we did not like it. The price 25£ pp. Service was nice with us and we stayed there all time we needed. Its a bit noisy but worthy to visit! We will come back!

Very good experience, a little wait outside (5-10 min) to enter but being pregnant the team came themselves to bring me a chair. We had two excellent Lattes and a very good brunch! 👍🏻

We had a delicious breakfast with good coffee in this nice restaurant. Nice and busy and a good atmosphere!

Food was interesting! There are a lot of specialty lattes and the dirty chai with coconut milk is so good!! 🤤 the breakfast tea was very weak and no one cared to offer any kind of sweetener. The chicken was cooked very well whoever the favours did not seems to work too well with the amount of syrup on the waffle. I think this place is over rated because the food looks very aesthetically pleasing, however it is lacking in other aspects. I have to say terrible service! Asked for a table got told to wait, which is fine. We than decided to sit outside so we let a member of staff know. 20 minutes later no one has come to bring a menu or anything we went on Google and decided what to order and my partner had to go inside to order. Drinks come, by the time the food comes out drinks were cold. We had to get up and go inside again to ask for condiments. No water. No one come to check if the food was ok or not. No one come to get the bill we had to get up and get someone again. But of course they did not forget to include the service charge!!! The table next to us had water, and 2 waiters come to bring their food. Will not be visiting again.

Insanely over priced despite being yummy. £5 for a plain (not caramel) matcha and charged £17 for smashed avocado on toast. More details I asked "instead of eggs on toast - £12 - do you have an avocado on toast?" The wauers answer was "we have an avocado chickpea with pesto and a bunch of other stuff meal" would you like that? No is just plain avocado on sourdough possible, like the plain eggs in toast? "Yes" Still charged £17. Didn't get to dispute this in person because we paid as a group in a rush -- as we were being kicked out due to others wanting a table!

Amazing vegetarian English breakfast. Food is perfect. Interesting and seasonal drink choices. The staff is so welcoming and friendly.

Love LOVE love LOVE!!!!! The food was really fantastic here, brilliant brunch. Wasn't a fan of the coffee but I think it just comes down to personal taste re roast of beans. Also they are pretty fast here, which was very much APPRECIATED!

Llamé para el brunch, ya que estaba en el camino a la calle Pancras y el sitio web se veía bien. La comida era agradable, PERO extremadamente caro para lo que era. £ 17 para aguacate frío, huevos escalfados, garbanzos y cohete en tostadas y se sentó al lado de la puerta del inodoro. Pagamos un tercio menos por similares en el puente de la torre, donde los alrededores eran muy superiores. ¡Además no hay té verde! Mi marido tenía dos huevos, un poco de jamón y un café con leche muy pequeño, y estaba a solo 40 libras. Mi taza estaba medio vacía y no volvía.

Great cafe, on a quieter side street, not far from Kings Cross. The staff was very friendly and on the ball. The food was excellent and the menu also offers all sorts of unusual dishes and invites you to try them out.

Great place for brunch, the place is not very big but very warm There were 2 of us and we had the Half Cup full English breakfast and the Turkish eggs It was really very good and plentiful, the dishes arrived very quickly and the staff was very friendly I recommend

Food was excellent, breakfast roll was very nice. All the food I saw being served looked delicious. My only gripe was having to wait 30min before being seated. Oh and some bloke coming out the loo nearly took my head off with the door due to where I was sat. I would visit again however.

Good food, friendly service right in the heart of London

On day 3 in London we were looking for another new breakfast place. We found one near our hotel via Google Maps. When we arrived we saw a line. It would take 20 minutes so we decided to wait. We already received the card so that we could find out in advance what we would like and I think also so that the flow is a little higher, so that the rest in the queue would also have their turn. If you sit outside you can literally see the queue, so you will be looked away when you have finished your food, but that won't bother you inside. You can just eat there in peace and quiet and they are not in a rush. However, they are quick to serve. In the end it was more than worth the wait. The food was very tasty and looked very nice too. The chicken and waffles were extremely large and more than enough! The lunch stall is decorated with beautiful murals. I would definitely come back here if I go to London again. I would make a reservation if possible, so you don't have to wait outside. Legend: 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with that, but nothing special, nice for once. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend, I will definitely come back!

Very nice atmosphere, and the menu offers great choice of sweet, salty and mixed dishes ! The portions are generous, and the service was really attentive. There is quite a queue outside, but we were lucky as we were just 2 people. Highly recommended!

Great brunch today, with friends.

A friend who lived in London told me that if I want brunch, I should go to Half Cup instead of going anywhere else. Chicken waffles were amazing!! Seriously delicious. But when I ate this for brunch, I felt guilty... haha, but it's delicious. Everything is delicious.

Most overrated brunch restaurant in all of London. (And I have visited 100+ at this point.) ‘Poached’ eggs were BOILED. Zero runny yolk factor. Hashbrowns tasted tasted like frozen ones from McCain (although I think these taste better). Hollandaise sauce was bland and had no real flavour (so was a yellow gloop serving no purpose). Food arrived cold, I sent it back, and they brought me the exact same plate again… (Hopefully having not spat in it for all we know.)

One of the best brunch I’ve had hands down. My only regret was I had plan to do some rockclimbimg afterwards, so having to restrain from devouring the whole portion was painful. Despite the fried chicken waffle being one of the best I’ve had, the savory pancake my wife ordered was divine and I was stealing from her plate the whole time.

Nice atmosphere, coffee and food presentation. However food wasn’t that great , flavours didn’t really match and my chickpeas felt quite stale/old. Service wasn’t fantastic either as it was very busy and staff seemed to be all over the place

Mi sobrina y yo vinimos aquí a comer después de una reunión familiar. El menú era bueno y daba un montón de opciones para carnívoros, verduras y veganos. Mi sobrina había aplastado el aguacate en masa madre y yo tenía huevos marrones de hachís benedicto con halloumi. Mis huevos escalfados estaban un poco acabados y no corrían, pero había un montón de halloumi y las hachís morenas estaban crujientes. El huevo escalfado de mi sobrina estaba corrido y ella disfrutaba de la comida. Ambos comimos Kombucha, uno con pomelo y otro con jengibre y limón, ambos muy sabrosos. Viendo el menú pensamos que los precios eran un poco altos para lo que eran platos más pequeños cuando los platos más grandes eran aproximadamente el mismo precio. Me doy cuenta de que está en el centro de Londres, pero mi sobrina me informó que es más caro que en otros lugares. Una buena comida y genial para un placer.

Sooo cozy place with so well cooked food!! The service is amazing and so is the atmosphere. In the higher price range but worth every penny.

El servicio fue horrible. Entramos, y uno de los empleados nos dijo que nos sentáramos en cualquier lugar y alguien simplemente despejaría la mesa, claro. Ni siquiera 2 segundos, nuestra camarera nos dijo que esperáramos afuera mientras limpiaba las mesas, claro. La misma camarera se equivocó de pedido y cuando se lo contamos, parecía visiblemente enfadada. Trajo el plato correcto y literalmente lo golpeó contra la mesa. Le dijimos que no queríamos los frijoles y terminó trayendo dos cuencos en total lo que significó más desperdicio. Durante nuestra comida, dejó caer la escoba que hacía los sonidos más fuertes contra el suelo. Ella se nos acercaba tan repentinamente que nos hacía saltar haciéndonos caer nuestra comida al suelo. Halloween realmente está llegando a este lugar con todos los golpes y jumpscares. La gota que colmó el vaso fuimos nosotros pidiendo que el cargo por servicio discrecional fuera de la cuenta, y, mi error por no revisar la máquina de tarjetas, todavía nos cobró por ello. Incluso tuvo la osadía de preguntar qué le pasaba al servicio.

We are locals who have visited half cup many times over the past few years. We normally love coming here because the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive! Sadly we had a really disappointing visit today. The lady who served us had no customer service skills and looked quite frankly fed up. I found a hair in my food (which wasn’t mine as my hair was tired up and longer than the one I found) and decided to flag it up. No apology was issued whatsoever but they offered to make the dish again for me. When it came the sausage was not hot in both dishes and I’d been given the ends of the tomatoes(see picture). When asked how our meal was at the end I gave some honest feedback. Again, no real attempt to acknowledge what I’d said but a mumbled response that they would ‘let the chef know’. When we asked for the bill we were completely forgotten about (despite the cafe being nearly empty) and had to ask again to pay. No discount was applied in the bill (which was maybe expected - given we’ve been before and had a meal taken off the bill when some eggshell was found). The prices also seem to go up every time we visit. When you pay £16.50 for a breakfast bun you should expect at least hot food! Overall really disappointing! Normally love this place but feels as if the staff were untrained and a little bit rude.

We were looking for a good breakfast spot in the vicinity of St. Pancras, and this place was quite the find! I had their seasonal corn & herb pancakes, my friend had avocado on cornbread, and the kiddos enjoyed oreo french toast. Everything we had was divine! The space was bright and clean. Service was very friendly. Definitely a worthy stop if you're in the area.

Super delicious, you have to wait in line for breakfast here, but it's worth it. Something for everyone, totally comfortable and you don't need lunch anymore

For your avocado sourdough toast and english breafkast brunch, this is a very good option close to St Pancras and St Cross station. We went for the english breakfast which was very tastefull and the poached eggs were made perfectly. The service was super super friendly. They have small lovely terrace at the front. We did not make a reservation before and walked in (Thursday at 11am).

Always full of people....a clue...... We enjoyed ourselves, the salmon bagel was very good, the tea perfect, the waitress smiling and friendly. A very very good time.....

huge portions for the price, best matcha I've had with a small wait - but the server saw I was using a walking stick and came out and immediately offered me a seat whilst I waited which I really appreciated.

To offer Vegan and Gluten free options then, offer these please. I ordered a breakfast expecting at least vegan sausage and gluten free bread. But no, I got 4 slices of tomato, Luke warm beans, 4 hash browns. No GF bread. Also received a half avocado that was soft and past its best. Very disappointing and not worth £17:50! I have had better breakfast at Morrisons and £10 cheaper! Icomplained about the small half avocado and the waiter brought me another past it's best piece. I questioned the GF and vegan options and asked on this occasion to be given some hallumi - which I do have sometimes. Anyway after speaking to the Manager, I got a discount between £ 3-4. Please do not say GF and Vegan options available if you cannot supply them.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had some French Toast and an English breakfast. It was quite pricey but we didnt need to have a lunch after eating here. So it's absolutely worth it. However be prepared for a waiting line if you go there on a crowded time.

Family was visiting London and looking for a good breakfast. Everything very fresh and well presented. We sat outside in front. Service was great. My kids ordered the pork belly which was good but not as moist as desired. The rest of the food was good. Scrambled eggs a must.

Very good brunch, impeccable service. Great location if you need to catch the train right after! Don’t hesitate to go there early on the weekend because you often have to wait 10-20 minutes before getting a table. The choices are very varied, sweet and savory but also drinks with matcha. Finally, the prices are correct for London especially with the quantities served. I had an English Breakfast: a delight 😋 The only small negative point is that the place is quite noisy.

Excellent food, service was good but with systems down, it took a long time for even the coffee drinks to come out. The Oreo french toast was phenomenal, waffles amazing and the English breakfast very good. Careful with the chai drinks, extremely spicy, but good flavor. Servers were very nice, but could not out-nice the frustration with how long the kitchen took to prepare drinks and food. We arrived at open and it was packed, which is always a good sign, but I recommend asking if the systems are up and running before actually sitting down.

Its a cute Café but i wouldn't recommend the poached eggs at all. The prices are way too high for what you get and you basically pay for the location.

Coffee place located near St Pancras station. It offers a wide variety of dishes and options for coeliacs, vegans, vegetarians. Exquisite food. Friendly and very helpful staff. I recommend arriving a little before the opening because there is always a long queue.

Got a carrot cake and Korean fried chicken; both were absolutely amazing!! Would definitely go back again!

I like this place, I often forget about it but the other day I visited and was happy to see that they have changed the menu. I had the Chicken and Waffles and it was lovely. Initially l, I was worried about the coating being to much and there not being enough chicken. But even the breast was nicely coated. My only issue would be the sauce, was slightly congealed but not a deal breaker. I would recommend and not too pricey.

I went there on a Sunday at 8:50 a.m. and there was already a line forming outside. Very popular and rightly so because the dishes are generous, appetizing and good. I didn't appreciate having my plate removed barely a second after finishing it, a sign that my presence was a little too long for the staff's liking. And suffice to say that in terms of the price of the dishes - the increase in a few years is incredible - if I want to stay 5 minutes longer after having finished my plate I will stay 5 minutes longer. Note that it is quite noisy (small space + lots of people + loud music).

The cup isn’t half full at this place it’s overflowing at the brim with flavour. Easy one of the best breakfasts I have had despite the lack of black pudding, which is something I would highly recommend you add on as an extra if people want it they pay for the privilege extra as I understand it’s a northern thing. Great quality produce provided and excellent cooking capability. If you are looking for a good breakfast to eat look no further. It’s slightly expensive however you get the quality to back it up so worth it if you are itching for a Fry up. I went on a Monday @ 9:30am can’t vouch for other days but the chef working today did an incredible job. The 🍅 was surprisingly incredible, never had one cooked as good as that before ever. I would also recommend tea pots for the tea as you can’t beat that classic tea room experience that a tea pot brings to the table. (I did order beans also)

No form of air conditioning so not equipped to deal with weather above 15 degrees. Nonchalant staff at best with extremely rude and dismissive redhead, giving me the side eye and saying have a nice day to customers but snatching the card machine and walking away from us without saying so much as a thank you etc. Service charge completely unwarranted but felt too anxious to ask for it to be removed in fear of her arguing with us. Food was okay but well overpriced and tried to charge us to add syrup on the dry chicken which was advertised to have already had it. Fried egg was inedible. Overall do not recommend. Not LGBT friendly in my opinion.
