Came one day by chance food was excellent, sourdough, poached eggs, tomatoes. Will be coming a regular when I am working in the area. Nice quick service too

I had breakfast there when I went on a trip to London at the end of the year. It was near the hotel I was staying at, and it was open from 7am, so I stumbled upon it and found it to be a nice shop. The interior of the store was simple and clean, which I personally liked, and the background music was jazz and it was comfortable. The breakfast set and tea I received on the first day were delicious. The croissants and pain au chocolat I bought for takeout were so crispy and delicious that I went back the next day just for them. The cappuccino I received with the croissant was also delicious. It was crowded during lunch, so when I went back in the evening, it closed at 5pm. There were a lot of delicious items on the menu, so I'd definitely like to visit again the next time I'm in London.

I didn’t feel respected here and the male staff was rude. After I finished my food, the male staff came to clear the table and I asked if he could bring the bill. He asked me to pay at the counter and I said to him okay but I needed a moment (as I was in the middle replying to some urgent texts). However, not even after five minutes, the man came back and told me: “You need to leave now. We need the table.” I understood that he needed to find a seat for the customers who just came in, but the way he expressed it was really rude. I quickly packed my belongings and went to pay at the counter. I was quite surprised when I saw there was a 10 percent service charge because there wasn’t much service and the food was not very good (I don’t want to sound harsh here but it was the worst Eggs Benedict I’ve had. Edible but not up to the average standard). I expressed my bad feelings towards the man about how he asked me to leave, but still offered to pay the service charge although I was not sure it was justifiable (because it wasn’t a lot). However, the man grudgingly waived the service charge for me and said something like “you’re smart” or something (as if I’m trying to use the excuse to avoid the extra charge). He said “I’m sorry that you’re offended” and “You need to respect other people”. He obviously believed that it was my fault and he did nothing wrong. I tried to assert my opinion again “I do respect others but I still think it’s rude to chase your customer out”. However, he became very impatient and said something along the lines of “I’ve already waived your service charge what else do you expect me to do”. I stopped arguing with him and decided to leave. It seems like a small thing but I do feel really uncomfortable about it. I was not respected by the male staff and also accused of“not respecting others”.

The bacon and sausage baguette and coffee hit the spot and very reasonably priced.

Work near here and love the place - the staff are always friendly and i even met the owner once & she was lovely.

Good choice for breakfast near the British museum.

We went to breakfast and ordered the English breakfast, the panini and the sandwich. The quality is quite low and we were very struck by the fact that the sandwich was served with fresh sliced ​​bread, without even passing it through the toaster, which took away from its flavor. The smoothies were very delicious and the service was quite friendly.

Cada vez que visitamos Londres siempre terminamos tomando pizza o un sándwich de un café de cadena, ya que no podemos encontrar ningún lugar que sirva opciones de almuerzo saludables. Este fin de semana decidí buscar en Google cafés que tuvieran un menú más normal a la hora del almuerzo. Sal y pimienta apareció en los resultados de búsqueda y decidimos probarlo. Tenía mi papa favorita con queso y frijoles. Me quedé impresionado con el café y haré visitas regulares cuando esté en Londres en el futuro. El precio era bueno y el personal era amable y servicial.

Overall it was delicious. Delicious breakfast. Kind and fast service. I would like to offer one small constructive criticism - I asked to add a pastry to the breakfast, and it would have been better if they had heated it and not served it straight away without heating. All in all it was a good experience.

Breakfast is nice, although our poached eggs were in fact hard boiled. But wow they’re charging the world for freshly squeezed orange juice. It’s 14 pounds per person! And… without informing you, it’s also not mentioned on the menu. Inside it’s really cold, we had to put our coats on the window sill to stop the draught. So it’s okay but be prepared to pay a lot.

Ordered a bacon and sausage sandwich. The food came really fast, and ok service. The sandwich bread were falling apart. I liked that there was a lot of meat on the sandwich, however not much else was added. Overall a bit dissapointed given all the other great reviewes.

We walked by this restaurant coincidentally exploring from our hotel to London Eye. Their menu had something to please everyone from my family, carb eater, protein lover and vegetable craver. Service was quick, friendly staff, delicious food topped with cleanness made this enjoyable so we had breakfast here two days in a row. During our two visits we tried their avacado poached egg plate, couple different pennies and their mushroom omlet plate. All choices did not disappoint

In 2 words: FRESHNESS and QUALITY! To detail our experience, we went to this place around 7:00 am. A breakfast consisting of mint tea and eggs Benedict, a cappuccino and avocado-bacon-egg toast. The tea is made fresh with fresh mint leaves. We haven't tried the orange juice but I can tell you that it is also prepared fresh. Our meals were plentiful and delicious. We recommend this restaurant and the kindness of the employees!

Un établissement non seulement bien placé mais qui a le sens du service en restauration. Sourire et accueil sont au rendez-vous, et vous vous installez où bon vous semble. J’y suis venu pour un petit déjeuner et autant dire que je ne suis même pas resté sur ma faim, les assiettes sont garnies à en déborder. Je recommande le Salt And Pepper pour tout ceux qui souhaite déguster un petit déjeuner anglais original dans la tradition ou encore des plats qui sauront vous satisfaire. Les prix sont raisonnables et on vous remercie toujours de votre passage à la sortie ; ce qui donne envie d’y retourner !

Came here for a short break after walking around the british museum, possibly the best carrot cake i’ve had! The carrot cake was really moist and the cream wasn’t too sweet. Staff was really friendly and gave recommendations on desserts, would definitely come again!

It is a small but cozy space. I can't compare because I haven't tried English breakfast anywhere else, but it was delicious. Eggs Benedict is okay too. Overall, it seems like a rather boring house. Both the orange juice and apple juice were not too sweet and tasted healthy. The flat white was a little bland.

Visited with family for lunch before seeing a show at the Dominion. We managed to get a table inside, there’s a few tables outside too. I had avocado, halloumi and poached egg on toast and it was absolutely delicious. Menu great and reasonably priced. Very quick service. Would definitely recommend.

The man who seems to be the owner seems unfriendly at first glance, and when I look at the reviews on Google Maps, I see some negative comments, but he was really kind. In this post, I would like to post about the menu that I ordered over the two days I went there. 【Today’s Order】 🔸Crushed Avocado, Smoked Salmon & Poached Egg - £13.95 →A menu with plenty of crushed avocado on top of sourdough bread cut into 1.5cm pieces, and then thick, juicy smoked salmon and poached eggs on top. Salad and fried tomatoes are served as garnishes. It was really delicious, and it was the perfect menu for me, who loves both avocado and salmon. What's more, when you put a knife into the poached egg on top, the yolk flows out from inside, which is also the best. Although it is an orthodox menu, the ingredients used are very fresh and of high quality, so this is a menu that I would like to order next time. 🔸English Breakfast - £11.95 →Even though I came to England, I thought I hadn't eaten a traditional English breakfast, so I had it on the morning of my last day in London. After drinking this, I felt like I was healthier! 🔸Fresh Orange Juice - £4.5 →Orange juice squeezed on the spot. Needless to say, it was delicious. 🔸Chai Latte- £3.5 →I had a chai latte both times at this restaurant. The cinnamon taste is very good and makes you feel relieved. Moreover, the price is also reasonable. This shop is easy to wander into by yourself, and it's also a good place to take a short break. There were some customers reading books, and there was Wi-Fi, so I saw a few people working in the cafe. I hope to visit you on my next business trip.

This has long been one of my favorite breakfast cafes in Bloomsbury / Covent Garden. Avocado toast with poached eggs (and salmon) is outstanding: fresh organic eggs with orange yolks and delicious bread. Service is fast. Prices are fair. Highly recommended.

We don’t understand why it took over 30 minutes to receive our breakfasts. There were four of us ordering 3 omelets and 1 egg on toast and not one employee came over to say anything about why our food was delayed. We saw all the tables around us getting fast service which was very upsetting. Oh well.

Because this charming spot is close to our hotel, we’ve eaten breakfast here for four mornings and loved each day’s choice. Fresh squeezed orange juice/freshly prepared fruit or veggie smoothies / omelettes/avocado toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs/bacon and egg sandwich on a baguette …. What variety! A wonderful spot to stop for breakfast on your way to the British Museum. It’s a short walk from Tottenham Court Station. The Eggs Benedict were delicious.

The food from their breakfast and lunch menu is perfectly good, but there are so many better brunches in the neighbourhood that it doesn't really compete. Their tomatoes were rather disappointing. Their coffee, on the other hand, is delicious! I don't know what their secret is. The service is quick and accommodating. It's not the most charming atmosphere for an eatery in Bloomsbury, but they do have a little bit of outdoor seating.

The price is reasonable, the taste is good, the portion is generous, and there is no queue.

Verse jus d’orange, smoothie, verschillende koffie’s lekkere toast en gepocheerde eieren. Veel keuze in mogelijkheden Veel lekkerder en verser dan een hotel ontbijt. Ideaal om daar eerst te ontbijten, voordat je naar het British Museum gaat.

Trip Advisor gives this establishment an Excellent rating. It is correct. Very busy and great for those like me who like to sit and observe. Lovely breakfast (smashed avocado, bacon, poached egg and sourdough). My wife had a lovely omelette. Great coffee. Will definitely come again when next in London.
