Decent location, and walking distance to town centre for places to eat. Not a lot of parking so should be prebooked. We were lucky because it was quite quiet

Good location, good selection of places to eat over at the town. Staff are always friendly. Just remember to call up a week in advanced if you need to park your car at the hotel, else you'll be taking a walk.

Underwhelming experience . The staff are generally polite and the breakfast was good however 1. The toilet was really dirty in our 3rd floor room and the whole corridor had a faint bad smell .Pls see attached pic of toilet. 2. Unfortunately we were not aware of the restricted parking hence we had to park a.mile away. On check out the manager Manaswini was unhelpful with this feedback. We tried to explain that this was a customer touch point which needed to be reviewed especially as another family complained of exactly the same thing the same time we were there . Her words were " its only 2 of you who have complained out of the 140 guests in here". She kept saying her system gave the relevant parking information ( £12.50 a night and needs to be prebooked). however when she looked through my booking on my phone She did not see it. I wonder how I as the customer will have access to her information on her system.Very unprofessional! We will definitely not be returning . Very underwhelming and bristly experience

I have stayed a couple of times at this hotel for business as it is handily located by International Station in Ashford. The hotel is a large modern hotel with recent and well kept decor. The rooms seem to be recently refurbished and look stunning to walk in to. They have a fridge, plug sockets with USB and a handy work desk. The bathrooms are excellent, modern and spotlessly clean. The free WiFi is easy to connect to and reasonably quick for public WiFi at about 40mbps, so is capable of reasonable streaming. The breakfast is a well appointed buffet with a range of Full English items, continental cheeses and fruit plus pastries and a waffle making machine. Coffee and juices are self service from machines too. I like that it starts at 06:00 so that those needing to go to work early can still have a breakfast, which is included in the room rate. I would recommend booking car parking in advance as it is small (and not cheap) so could be full if you arrive without booking. A few negatives. I found the bed really hard but the pillows ultra soft. Not to my comfort. If you have a room at the front of the hotel, the road has a really busy junction right outside the window which is noisy even in the night. Finally, there is some sort of fire detector on the ceiling in the room which periodically flashes quite brightly so when you’re in the dark it looked like lightening waking me up.

Best showers ever! The rooms are of a high standard, with comfortable beds, and everything you need, including a fridge. But, the best are the showers, a large walk in shower with a fabulous over head drench shower head. The food offered in the evenings is limited, but perfectly acceptable. However you are also within a short walk from many different restaurants.

Upon arrival, the lobby was very tidy, and we were greeted warmly by staff. We'd pre-booked and paid online, but were surprised by an additional £50 deposit request. This was refunded within a week, so it wasn’t a major issue. The room was clean, the hotel was peaceful, and we had a very comfortable night’s sleep. We appreciated having a fridge in the room, which was a nice touch. Location is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. However, I was disappointed with the hotel's handling of allergen information. As someone with coeliac disease, having clear allergen information is a necessity. I was informed that the only safe hot item was sausages, and that baked beans contained cornflour (which isn’t gluten), making them unsafe. This lack of knowledge from the kitchen staff was concerning, they were clueless. Additionally, they did not offer gluten-free cereal or other sweet breakfast treats, citing low demand and short shelf life-span as reasons. I was shocked as I’ve stayed at far more budget hotels which were a lot more accommodating.

Great experience. Room was lovely, breakfast was good and so were the staff. Left my AirPods in the room when I checked out - staff couldn’t be more helpful handing them in and bearing with me while I dealt with terrible couriers. 10/10

We had booked here to get to Dover the next morning. The hotel is ok for that. I can't judge the location of the city. But be sure to reserve a parking space at the hotel beforehand. We had to park about 5 minutes away at the train station, which was also possible and was definitely cheaper.

Staff fantastic with room layout well thought about. The bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable with one side very worn and felt like I would fall out and what hotel in this day and age still uses feather pillows?! Woke up with a tight wheezing chest and missed breakfast because I was trying to get my breathing back to normal. I would however stay again if there were synthetic/hypoallergenic pillows available.

Stayed here about 50 nights in the past year or two, and it’s the usual Hilton experience. Not great not terrible. Gripes as a business traveller: Petrol cars parked in the EV chargers, I book a parking space and it’s always “full”, microwaved meals but ‘restaurant’ shuts early, I make a corporate booking with a meal allowance yet they still swipe your card when you arrive, and frequently charge your meals to it when you’ve left. Hurts a bit when a basic meal like the photo shows is £30… Decent rooms, nice breakfast, and generally this hotel has lovely staff who are doing their best but.. as somebody who stays 3 to 5 nights a week in hotels (for 15 years now) I can’t be the only one who does everything I can to stay with another brand when I’m looking for a hot meal and somewhere to park the car.

The accommodation environment is clean and the location is good. There are outlets and supermarkets. The dinner meal is okay, but the buffet is not enough. There are not many choices for breakfast, but there are freshly baked waffles. The breakfast ingredients are good.

Dear staff members We stayed 2 nights with my sons family and found the hotel to be well deserved for the money. Comfortable rooms and quiet surroundings and location of hotel is a very good customer attraction. I have no hesitation recommending the hotel for families. In addition the breakfast served was commendable. Chef Albeit I think was the winner of every customer’s heart as his smiling face goes to tables and have a short chat. Good luck! Lionel Bandara

First off, the breakfast was amazing and the staff serving breakfast were helpful, polite and provided an exceptional service. Well done to the breakfast team. On arrival at the hotel we were told that we hadn’t booked overnight parking and it wasn’t available so we had to park our car almost one mile away. There was no mention of this when we booked (though we looked at the confirmation email after we booked which mentioned it there). The reception lady, Manaswini I think her name was, was quite arrogant and unhelpful given we assumed, at £140 for the night, that parking would be included. The room was very clean and spacious but we were very annoyed about the parking situation.

Centrally located in Ashford this hotel is brilliant for an individual/group that are looking for a place to stay and the hotel is also kid friendly and very welcoming. Close to main road but can't hear any traffic at all The rooms themselves are pretty good other than the obvious thick dust that was collecting above the photo frames, tv cabinet and the skirting board. It didn’t bother us too much but if you do have an allergy or sensitivity to dust/dust mites it may be worth double checking that the room has been properly checked over. Also if it's hot 18degrees+ the lobby for the lift to go downstairs can become overbearingly hot whilst waiting for the lift although there is Aircon&heating in the room there is no air con on the landing near the lifts. Breakfast was brilliant and food choice and quality was uncomplainable.- cereal, cooked breakfast, toast, croissants, fruit, apple&orange juice It was help yourself from 6am until 9am. We requested a room with a crib/child cot so we’re upgraded but a crib/cot was never seen even after asking again later in the evening. All in all I would stay here again and probably regularly, It is just a shame that certain details seem to be missed that takes this from a five star down to a four star review. Staff are polite and courteous. Downstairs has a gym and toilets the lounge/reception area at the back (away from food&people) this was clean and often was cleaned almost straight after people had finished and left. You will need to book parking in advance. We took the risk and got lucky but before check out they had no parking spaces available so if we decided we wanted an extra night we wouldn't of been able to park. Parking is £12.50 pay within 15minutes (at reception) otherwise you risk being fined. This is in a convenient location. It's about 2minutes walk to Ashford international fast services to Dover/euro tunnel or a 5minute walk to the other side for trains to Hastings/Ramsgate/Folkestone or London.

Stayed at the Hampton by Hilton here at Ashford... and absolutely LOVED IT. The location of the hotel was perfectly close to the train station so you could travel to London quickly if you wished. As well as to the Designer Outlet, so you can shop your heart out. The rooms were immaculately clean, so you can tell they ensure good quality. However, the highlight of my stay was the service and the staff, especially the breakfast staff such as the chef (Albert) and the front of house (Alice). They were so friendly, helpful, and happy to have a chat. I celebrated my birthday there and I was welcomed with a surprise breakfast waffle. If I were to come back to Ashford, I know where I will be staying.

Nice clean hotel, smelling amazing when walking in. Friendly staff, lovely clean rooms. Good selection at breakfast. Only negative is if you're wanting to eat in the evening go out, their food is massively over priced. Had the lasagne and you literally only get lasagne for £12.50!!!! Disgusting price seeming if you ate elsewhere it would at least be served with some salad and garlic bread, maybe even chips

This is a consistently excellent, mid-priced hotel. We stay here frequently for our car journeys between Scotland and Lake Como, Italy. Unlike a Premier Inn, a complimentary breakfast is included in the price of our room (we’re Honors’ members, it’s free to join) and it is of decent quality offering a broad range of choices, including gluten-free. The breakfast team are delightful, greeting you and taking real pride in what they do (well done to the restaurant leader, Albert). The restaurant is spacious such that, even at busier times, folk are not bumping into each other at the toaster or cereal bar! The reception team are polite, efficient and the rooms are always spotless, perfectly maintained and well appointed. Unusually for hotels, whoever designed the bathrooms actually thought about guest’s needs, rather than just fancy design - the lighting is great and the shower roomy and good to use. The air-conditioning is near-silent, there’s a mini-fridge and the sound proofing means you rarely are disturbed by others or external noise. Prices are reasonable. Pre-booked paid parking is available and, before folk complain about needing to pay, this is now quite common for many centrally located hotels (our other overnight stops at Premier Inn, Germany, also charge for parking). Anyway, thank you to the Hampton Hilton team in Ashford. Please don’t change as you cannot overestimate how grateful we are when we arrive at your hotel after driving for many, many hours. David & Rachel.

Rooms look good but noise seems to travel through with ease ..we experienced a low humming sound all night in 514 worse when your head hit the pillow so from below ?, also a bright flash periodically coming from the smoke detector.. room was hot at night 18 degrees .. no option to open windows - with air-conditioning blooming freezing ! Staff were very friendly and helpful Breakfast was amazing Would we stay again .. probably not and that's a shame because it is a lovely Hotel but I have to judge as I found it .

We held our company Christmas Party here. I booked it late but the, management were really accommodating. On the night, we were 20 guests, it busy due to the football being on which only added to the atmosphere. All the staff were fantastic, you were never kept waiting at the bar. We ordered plates of food for everyone to share, any i know that some people might think that pizza and chips is easy, but everything we ordered was brought out quickly, hot, and nothing suffered to rushing the order through. I would definatley recommned this place! Well done Matches. :)

Just ordered our work Lunch from here and it was so unbelievably good! All our staff were very impressed. The batter was so light and crispy and all very well seasoned. We had an array of items from across the menu and everything had such a great flavour. Great friendly service from the lady on the desk as well. We may have to make 'Fish Fridays' a permanent thing.

I ordered £44 worth of food and got delivered £23 worth of food via Just Eat app. Rang Momo Kingdom and staff told she is unable to help and contact Just Eat for resolution at 8pm in evening. We drove to Momokingdom and staff member was very rude and blamed Just Eat driver for mixing up order. We then waited 20 mins to be told they have run out of rice to make fried rice. We paid £4 extra for delivery and service charges and drove up in the end to resolve this. Absolutely awful service on the ground by MomoKingdom will never place order at Momokingdom or via JustEat app… all along there is some idiot enjoying £44 worth of food by paying £23. 15th Nov 2024 In response to Owner’s reply- thanks for taking time to reply to my review. May I suggest you post your cam footage to public so it is amply clear that we were not abusing or shouting at staff. We were there to set things right and get food we paid for and to document evidence that we made effort to resolve this with restaurant. Please send your frontline staff on communication training. She has very poor communication skills in managing such situations. The third party customer had no business to intervene in this dispute and we promptly told him to stay away from conversation like another JustEat driver waiting there. Do you really think I will even bother to step into your restaurant, let alone order online? I am sharing my experience for benefit of public who should seriously look for Momos from tonnes of Nepalese takeways in Ashford.
