If I could give it a lower score I would waited 15 min to be asked for drinks jacket potato was sent back as it was cremated the second time round still burned but I gave up by that point and just accepted it . The mixed grill steak was probably the worst steak I’ve eaten in a while very dry would not recomend Server was lovely though when we did get one

Both chicken dishes were lukewarm . Asked for one to be replaced but also lukewarm. Bill charged incorrectly had to query it.

food was spot on as well as drinks, we was served by keira who was brilliant, polite and knew exactly what she was doing, she explained as soon as we was sat, the few things that were not in stock with the biggest apologies and helped us with load our discount code after our meal (which for the life of me i could not find again). food, drinks and service was the best!

We had a nice family evening meal after work and was greeted by Bimal and very pleasant and helpful member of staff. He greeted us and talked us though the menu with that wasn’t available. His service was 10/10 and very nice ans friendly he also assisted the table next door when they had a wobbly table he solved this issue for them . Both my family table and the table sitting next to us agreed the service he present was amazing . The new food menu was really good with great portion sizes and the 50% off meal voucher was a great help . The afters where amazing and I really enjoyed my dinner / desert and overall service The new decor is a great touch aswell Well done harvester and a big well done to Bimal 10/10

I visited with my family on Monday 30th for a post christmas meet up... booking was easy and kept informed as the date approached. Service (Karen) was impeccable and only wished we had left her a tip. We will book again for next year's post Christmas meet up. Well done team for a fantastic experience.

We waited over an hour for our food,when we went to order our food we was told no rotisserie chicken. I asked about the 3 meal cajan, southern and rotisserie and was told I could have a extra southern so ok that's what I ordered. Over an hour later food arrived with rotisserie chicken on ? I was told that's what then delay was for? Ok why not explain this while waiting for an hour . So wasn't overly happy with time waited and as the garlic pitta actually had nothing on it was just dry.

The chicken was so good the ribs terrible hardly any meat on them chips ok

Haven't been to Harvester for years, but went for a family gathering. The food was moderate, imo, and the portions were pretty mean. I doubt I'll ever set foot in one again.

Had a lovely meal with keira looking after us and making us feel welcome with a smile on her face, she was very polite and friendly and see to our order arriving nice and hot.

We had Christmas dinner here and it was great ! Good portions, really food food and the service was great. I'd accidently ordered someone the wrong main and they changed it for us. Super attentative. Great value for a Christmas dinner out and we'll definitely be booking again for next year. Only thing that would have made it better would have been if there was Christmas music playing. Thank you

I walked in with 3adults 2 kids ,the man face show not welcome said if you not make reservations there had no table at all till after one and a half hours the kids so disappointed,but the main thing is only 2 or 3customer at the restaurant.the man said no table on Tuesday 4.00,I can feel the are not welcoming for kid or other races .i will not visit this place again

Food was less than appealing and half of it not even available we managed to find food but then was informed no ice cream - so puddings were limited as well. We ended up finishing meal, paying way over the top for what was received (had steak no tomotos no mushrooms so was literally steak and chips. As we left we just reminded our selves why we never rush back there.

If you're anything like me, the phrase Harvester restaurant maybe still conjures up images of an uninspired salad cart, and an endless range of steak and burgers. If that is the case, I'd urge you to go again and re-assess! The unlimited salad cart has had a makeover with a few more healthy additions (mixed beans and bulgur wheat anyone?) and all the old favourites. And while Harvester is still predominantly a meat-eaters paradise, there are now other items to tempt the palate - their balanced bowls look amazing, but I must admit to indulging in their Wing N Wave Combo - basically the old Surf and Turf with a shiny upgrade, very nice! The service from our server Tarryn was friendly and filled with smiles, which makes a pleasant change - she did Harvester Grays proud. Next time we want an impromptu lunchtime or evening treat, this will be firmly on our list!

Update: Unfortunately, I need to downgrade my rating, as we had an incredible rude experience with what I believe is the manager of this restaurant. We came in with some friends as we knew the place was good, but we were told first there was a 30 min wait for food and afterwards there was no food anymore. All this even though the restaurant was HALF EMPTY on a Sunday evening (5pm). The guy said we can only have drinks and when I asked whether we can have some quick snacks from the salad bar just for the kids, he said no and not tell him how to run his restaurant. Given it was a Sunday, I can only assume that there is no appetite for serving customers or he does a very poor job at allocating resources in his kitchen. In any case, we will not be coming back or recommend it anymore. In a hospitality industry, you can't simply be that rude. Keeping 2 starts as previously we had better experiences. -------------‐‐ Good pub food. Service is great, staff is quick and always around to make sure food is served and ask if you need anything else

Perfect start to a Sunday morning. Edit : Have to edit my review. We've turned out for breakfast one Sunday morning and we've been rejected. They said they have no free tables even thou it was more than half empty. Makes us feel really bad and i won't be coming here ever again.

I went with the extended family (9 of us) for my mum's and bro-in-law's birthdays. Service was quite slow and we weren't asked how our meal was. We ended up there for 2.5 hours due to lack of attentiveness and issues. We had to complain about several things - my mum's chicken was cold, my son's mixed grill had a rock hard, burnt egg on it and my vegan sister ended up with a chicken fry in her chips!!! We obviously raised this and the egg and chips were taken away and we were told replacements would be brought. This never happened (my mum's chicken was exchanged). We told them 15 mins later we were still waiting for the replacements but as everyone had finished eating didnt want them anymore. The manager took of the vegan meal and the chicken one from the bill. We won't be going back.

Dinner for 2, booked 45 minutes before turning up and all good on arrival. Food was great and the customer service for was excellent from Josh. Harvester needs more Josh's.

Booked a table for myself and my young daughter. Service was attentive and felt looked after throughout. Salad bar did take a while to be replenished a few empty trays noticed. Main meal was good, and kids meal was enjoyed

James was great help! Really friendly service and very on the job. Extremely busy when I visited but everyone was happy and got their food in good time!!🥰

How can you wait 50 minutes for a breakfast that’s clearly been cooked for hours. Food was as dry as the Sahara desert

It just was not a good experience. I felt everything was just below par. Ribs came out dry steak was average along with the service. Maybe they were having a bad day, however once bitten twice shy

The prices have increased greatly. If I had realised that I would have sent my meal back, I had chicken skewer. The meat was dry and hard to eat, and cold. The metal skewer I held in my hand, usually they are too hot to hold. I took it home for my cat!

Best harvester we've been to for ages

Had a lovely meal here. The starter of the breaded mushrooms was so good. I had the steak flat bread for mains which I ask to be cooked blue first time out it was a Medium rare when it was returned it was cooked right but cold so a little disappointed and the return meal took ages to come back out so much so that everyone else had finished eating.

My Mum loves this Harvester, the staff are lovely and the service is excellent. My Mum requires a wheelchair and this place has easy parking and the staff carefully consider where we sit so my Mum is comfortable. The food is always tasty as well

The waitress who served us was extremely rude and impolite. If that’s her attitude to customers then she is clearly working in the wrong industry. She is tall, slim with long dark hair. The longer she works for you the more customers you will lose. It was very noisy where we were seated .

A great dinner for the family, kids love the salad bowl, and do go back for seconds. Adults menu has a great selection, as does the kid's.

Came as the last table before closing, the staff were very friendly, good food and clean restaurant. Salad bar was looking a bit worse for wear but this is expected at 9pm. Extremely fast service and usual harvester atmosphere. Would recommend.

Hadn't been for a while. Menu has changed. Not much left if you prefer traditional English food. Fine to cater for diferrent cultures but seem to have forgotten about some. Very expensive since last time we went. Adults were served food while child left with nothing for a further 10 minutes which i found wrong. We used to go regularly but agreed we will give it a miss and go elsewhere from now on.

I booked a table for 10 table was ready when we arrived but no waitress service till 40 mins later glad we got our drinks at the bar beforehand. Food was average and waitress serive was not up to standard.

We recently dined with our family at the Harvester and had a fantastic experience thanks to our waitress, Sofie. She was welcoming and attentive, making sure everyone felt comfortable. Her knowledge of the menu and great recommendations were a big help. Sofie's friendly service truly enhanced our meal, and I highly recommend asking for her if you visit!

Toast was badly burnt this morning. I can't believe it left the kitchen like this and was served to me to eat! Safe to say I did not eat the toast but otherwise the food was nice.

Turned up without booking, and we were fitted in. The server / waitress was brilliant. She had a laugh while rushed off her feet and couldn't do enough for us. The food came out, presented well and hot, and very tasty. The staff are polite and very acomerdating. Very good experience, we will come back.

First time in ages we have eaten out & what a lovely experience it was! Welcomed by friendly, informative staff, served fresh, hot, delicious food, in a clean & well kept restaurant! Nothing to improve on we really enjoyed our visit!

Not a great experience. Had to wait for cold food to be re done. Then after 15 minutes told they would refund me instead. Very frustrated. Manager was very apologetic after I brought it to her attention. Shame as the person I was with had a decent meal no problems

It is always a good idea to visit Harvester. While waiting for the food to arrive, you can indulge into the free salad bar with lots of choice. I have tried almost everything on the manu and I always leave satisfied. While visiting, make sure you try the starters, battered prawns, jalapeño poppers and calmari strips are my favs. They used to do awesome potato skins as a starter as well, but unfortunately, it's been taken off the menu. The food arrives in no time and is cooked to perfection. They offer refillable drinks as well. And as a bonus, staff are lovely and the service is always good.

Staff are very friendly and helpful atmosphere was good not to noisy and calm Food was below the Normal standard this time not impressed really for the cost of £81 for 3 ppl expected better The steaks are good but the side dishes didnt taste like they was freshly cooked

Have been avoiding Harvesters- especially this one for a while. Decided to try it again to see if it's any better. There was at least a 5 minute wait at the entrance door for someone to take us to a table. The place only had about 3 customers so it wasn't very busy at all. We were shown to a table, which we very quickly changed as it had a severe wobble. This MUST of been known to the staff as it should be wiped quite a few timesaday? The new table had smears of I don't know what but we just stayed on that table. The waitress was very good and any criticism is NOT aimed at her. Order taken and the starters arrived. The mushrooms were the same as before. Bite into them and your mouth is instantly flooded with hot oil. Revolting. We ordered garlic bread and what arrived was more like a very poor cheese on toast prepped by a 3 year old. Everything was stuck together and prising it apart resulted in one piece having no cheese and the other double sided cheese. Onto the mains We ordered the Classic Chicken Burger. This was mostly Luke warm at best but simply tasted burnt. No other flavour. The Bacon with it was like cardboard and also was very burnt. This came with Luke warm frozen chips which were equally tasteless. I did order a pint of Stella but didn't drink it all as it was very bitter. The pipes definitely need cleaning. Overall it's a 2 out of 5 as the Waitress was efficient and nice plus the Salad bar was good- it's hard to muck up a salad right? Will be giving all Harvesters a huge swerve for the next couple of years then see how they are........ If they are still in business

This is a fantastic place to come and eat always came every few months. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for the quality you get. The staff so friendly and helpful.. My favourite is chargrilled chicken skewers with naga sauce it came with side and the bread but i ordered some extra side golden rice.. My husband had salad with chicken.. Always love the unlimited salad bar and red devil sauce, i bought one bottle to take home its amazing sauce... Always come back to harvester...

(James even wished happy birthday in our native language to my friend). We really appreciated you guys. The food was delicious and the portions big, the salad and calamari is a must try. Compliments to the chef and all the staff as well. We'll definitely come back. (We used Groupon vouchers for this experience) Keep it up guys!

Went in for the English breakfast and was very dissapointed with the bacon. I ordered extra bacon instead of sausages but the bacon that came out was well overcooked and burnt to a crisp. The breakfasts are usually good so hope this is a one off. Cant believe a cook would serve this up and not expect it to come back. Everything else was fine.

Dressing pots on salad bar were empty or close to empty. Butter sachets were difficult to open.

Food not brilliant, very disappointed. Waitresses always attentive and do their best. Ok for a quick bite, as long as you don't expect too much

We booked a table for 10 today, and it was ready as soon as we arrived. Our server Viaren was absolutely fantastic, made sure all order's were spot on, even with our daughter who has coeliacs, very friendly and chatty too. Also the food was put out very quickly, which ten hungry people were very happy about.
