Bland tasting chips Salt and vinegar was that watered down there was no taste at all. Certainly wasn't worth the price of £3.00 for regular chips Definitely would NOT Recommend

Had a battered sausage on my lunch break could not eat it way too much salt I think the salt top must of fell off phoned shop daughter not interested that I paid 2.30 for something I could not eat no customer service what so ever make sure when u buy from this chop taste food before walk off will not use this chip shop ever again been using this shop over 15years gone downhill

Fantastic food kebabs are the best

Fri at 3pm, cost me £9.50 for small chips and small (very small) fish special. Got them home to discover the worst fish and chips ever.Don't know what time they opened,but chips had been there some hours. They were hard and tasteless. The fish also was as hard as a rock,either stood in warmer or been warmed up.Realised just how bad when my staffie,who eats anything and everything whether edible or not,turned her nose up and walked away. So basically £9.50 straight in the bin.Will never use this place again.

Terrible chips never had them before, sausage was lovely, my partner and son had the chips a few times before and they were gorgeous, so disappointed this time, they were not nice at all.

First time I feel that this was a very bad meal. Fish size was awful small but cost £8 and the chips was like cold rubber . My scallop was cold . Please get your act back to being 5 star

Nice chippy with plenty of staff!

Very disappointed, never go here when they are close to closing down. May have just been a bit of bad luck but having to pay full price for 2 soggy pieces of fish and the last of the chips out of the fryer just doesn't sit right with me. No discount offered, even though there was not enough chips left to do our order. Pretty bad customer service. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Absolutely beautiful. We had a buffet/variety of different dishes off the menu. Fish, all the kebab meats, southern fried chicken. The family enjoyed everything. We had it delivered and was very hot. Excellent service and would definitely use this chip shop again. Full credit to all the staff.

Have been going here for years. Food is lovely. Today ordered of Just eat. My order was correct but unfortunately ordered large fish, chips and mushy peas for my wife. Got the fish and mushy peas but no chips

Terrible TERRIBLE customer service and POOR food quality. Not only was a staff RUDE, but when my mother went back to return the food she was turned away, bare in mind it had an awful smell, it was uncooked and black inside. The lady then mocked my mother by saying “take a picture of it.” Let me add my sixty year old mother was calm the whole time and was handled poorly. Due to the IGNORANCE and lack of under and professionalism, we will never order from here again and will be telling others in our area!

Have always bought fish and chips from here. Their menu is extensive and have something for everyone. Very clean, excellent customer service. I do recommed.

Oh my goodness my partner just took me there and we ordered a kebab wrap and just plain chips and curry sauce and i have to say it was amazing, the chips were fresh and not dripping with oil and the curry sauce actually tasted like curry sauce and the donor wrap was sensational - we already agreed that next Friday we will be ordering from here again. Well done Hilltop Fish Bar.

Went on my dinner break whilst working locally. Women serving was very polite And friendly. Ordered lunchtime fish and chips for £3.80 And wasn't disappointed. Decent fish, chips were alright could of spent another 2 mins in the fryer. The curry sauce was lovely too and battered sausage was sound. I'd recommend this chippy if your on your lunch break.

Been using this chip shop since I was about 8. I'm 48 now. Best chips I've ever had. Different to any other chips I've had. Travel 3-4 miles to go there on Saturday tea time. Decent prices as well. The owners deserve a food medal!!!

Wednesday night. Empty shop so they told me they'd have to cook my fish and it would,take 10minutes. I was pleased that I'd get fresh fish. Fresh it may have been but with how dry and over cooked it was I couldn't tell. The pic says it's all. How do you blacken the batter on a deep fried fish?

The price for a bag of chips has gone up from £1.60 to £1.90! I can buy a bag of potatoes for £1.20. One bag of chips with three scollops cost me a whopping £3.10. With prices this high this shop doesn't deserve any customers.

Good food here at a fair price can be busy at times

The only place to go for freshly cooked COD. The short wait while it's cooking is well worth it. And today 6/11/17, Plaice is highly recommended (Xmisses). Very clean and welcoming. Customer service is a high priority.

Best chips in West Bromwich bar none the quality and hygiene is excellent and everything is always fresh in 15 years I have never had a bad bag of chips from this place.
