Hollyfield Fish Bar in Birmingham

Food was OK. A bit pricey. Fish was double battered and greasy. Been to better. Staff friendly though. Would I return, I would give it another chance

Normally go to this chippy and it’s bang on, but I have been yesterday morning and it was awful, I have still got a bad belly. Not good

First time here. Newvto the area and thought we'd give it a go. Food quality poor. Ordered a fish and chips amongst other things. The fish was disgusting. It had been double battered to make it look bigger. I had more batter than fish. How you can serve this quality of food is terrible. And charge the prices you do.

The order was incorrect. The person serving was rude and refused to put the order right. Food was ok but a bit dry.

I went here because both chip shops in Walmley village were really busy. It’s the first and last time. It was empty which should have been warning. The chips were white and cold and the curry sauce was revolting - and cold. I had to stop the lady putting vinegar on my pie which was the only decent thing in my meal. It was just about hot enough to eat but luckily this comes pre made. I will never use this chippy again.
