Food is generally very good. However, bare in mind that the prices have gone up recently.

Happened twice now. Placed the order, collected it and went back home. Item missing. The first time I didn't bother going back or chasing this as was too tired. Second time same issue. Tried calling, no one is picking up the phone. Went in and they refused to believe me. The person I'm talking to becomes rude and then the other guys come in aggressive. What a service! You did not check nor double check as you said the order. Whoever supposedly double checked needs glasses! You refused to accept your mistake. You became aggressive and rude. 0 star! Will never return. Should not have put the first time down to an honest mistake. You steal!

Food is average. The service is slow. Waited 20minutes for a pizza to be made. Guy said come back in ten minutes. Walk in ten minutes later and he’s just making the pizza. Go if you don’t mind waiting 10 minutes to be served then another 15-20 for your food. 🙄

I’ve been coming here for years only place I really eat from as it local nd very clean my order has always been on point recently I’ve been going there and there is grumpy man that serve me always gets my order wrong cuz off him I rarely go get so disappointed, I went there today a young lad served me got my order right

We ordered Pizza and Chips. We got home and it was as though they had reheated the food and given it to us. Definitely should have hygiene checks in this shop as guy with black beard uses the same hands mopping whilst serving the chips.

Guy lied to me that the pizza 🍕 just came out "10 minutes" Ago. It wasn't fresh and tasted as though it was made a day earlier and they had just reheated. Just be honest with your customers instead of lieing.

Service would be a 0 if it was an option. Served by the most vile human I have ever crossed paths with. A lot of people have had the same words to say about this particular server (short, black beard, eyes like daggers)

This place is a hit and miss . Sometimes you will get fresh food then next time you will get old cold food even if you walk in

Absolutely appalling !!!!! 9£!!!! For chicken nuggets fries and onion rings. Been ripped off, for asking for fries instead of chips with my nuggets. I asked to swap chip shop chips to fries and he said 2.50£ extra. !!!! Not only this I get home to a ginger/black beard hair in my food. Not on. Disgusting. For me to try and phone this place and they cut me off every time I call. Rude server. Looked like he didn’t want to be there. Long day at work. Over priced. For a box of fries chicken nuggets and chips and for my meal to be ruined. Not on. Little customer service.

Absolutely loved my experience at Hot Spot Fish Bar! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, and the chips were just the right amount of golden and crunchy. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Best chippy this side of town... Been a regular at this joint my whole life, always a good atmosphere here and the service from the lads is top notch, especially lala on the frying section! Like the fact the TV has the sports running, whether it's the footy, boxing, cricket etc... can never go wrong!

Kids enjoyed their pizza when opening their fast.

The Donner tasted like rubber, the chicken burger tasted like cardboard and the chicken niblets were tasteless

Asked for two breast of chicken and chips in boxes, At this point the person serving me started to would you believe picking his nose,at that point I said forget the meal and left.

Food is banging. Fish & chips and chicken pieces. They sorted me nice, I asked for small fish and chips and I got a big fish and instead of 1 piece chicken they gave me 2. Food was fresh and tasty. Fish was crispy, the chicken was next level, proper nice skin. Definitely will be back. Banging pricing as well.

Absolutely disgusted. Refried old leftovers. I used to own a takeaway and we NEVER served refried food. At the end of the day we would give it away to friends and neighbours. It was never reheated to be served again to paying customers. Look at the photos of the poor quality "food" received. We even asked them for fresh fries and not refried on the online order notes only to be ignored and be given mostly refried food for the rest of the order also! I'm not sure whether the management has changed but the last couple of orders delivered were truly awful. The fries, burgers and pop corn chicken were all refried, likely from yesterday. The only thing fresh was the pizza. After many years of being a customer I will go elsewhere, that's 8 people who will no longer be customers and not a small bill.

Love the food, propa chippy food. Nice and clean. I have never had any issue. Food is always piping hot and fresh good size portions.

Having tried a few places for masala fish in fresh nan. This is best placed period. Well worth trying.

I do enjoy this place as the staff are polite, respectful and the food is actually enjoyable serving proper chippy chips and quality chip shop food, however it is a little on the pricey side for what you get.

This takeaway looks nice and clean. You can see into the kitchen and food prep areas which is always a good sign. The Cheese Burger Meal was over cooked. The Masalah Cod Burger was a good portion and nicely cooked (but could do with more seasoning) and the Tandoori Pizza was not spicy and well cooked. Overall for a first time experience, it was average BUT has the potential to be a real hidden gem 💎✨️

Not bad, only downside is no one listens. You ask for a Pepsi Max you get a 7up or things like that. Happened 3-4 times so it’s ongoing. I wouldn’t be bothered if I didn’t had diabetes.

Always come here for my grilled chicken filet or cheese burger. Excellent customer service and the guy always remembers my order. Quick and effiecient service and the food is always on point. The chips are always cooked fresh. Would highly recommend. 👍🏽

Food was mediocre, expected better from the reviews, some items were missing, we went with the hot box was given a chicken patty instead of a chicken piece, but it's all good, didn't tasted bad, maybe will try them again in future 👍🏻

asked for a plain chicken fillet burger meal instead they gave a burger with every topping they had. also the workers were very rude.not good service. 45 minute wait even though there were only 2 customers

I ate food from here and then half an hour later I tested positive for covid the salad was dry like paper and the meat tasted uncooked I complained over the phone and was welcomed with abuse and called a liar

Just by chance we saw this on roundabout, when visiting Zippos circus. Looked inviting. Ample parking outside, excellent choice on menu, great prices. Service quick and friendly. Mixed kebabs ideal, but chips bit dry and nuggets had weird taste, other than that....great

Very poor quality.................... I don't know why they are doing this to me, When ever I come to this to buy a burger, I tell them to give me fresh donor burger, I also say please. But they still give you a hard cold and dry donor burger. And also chips was cold and rock hard. I'm sure they don't care about customer anymore. No more food from this shop…☹️☹️

The food is reasonable but one of the guys serving is ALWAYS so miserable! Absolutely zero customer skills and on top of that he messes up the orders!! Puts me off going there tbh. Needs to go on a training course!!! Smile doesn't cost anything!! Cheer up!!

Came previous for pizza and it was a disgrace I think they should close that section off... The fish and chips I ordered was nice the chips nice with there mayo the fish was dry and looked like it has been cooked and just been in the hot pan... Really annoyed so went to pete's pan and paid 5.80 for a meal deal was worth the munch... Wont be coming back here

Best masala fish burger in Birmingham

Their fish and chips were the best but somethings changed and its no longer the best. I had to retuen a portion and even the replacement was no better. Iv not been there past few weeks now. Its a shame because i went for that reason and its cleanliness.

Just ate from their had 2 bites on the chips was soggy as ordered chicken and chips chicken was only thing half decent. Also ordered a small mix meat and chips again chips soggy lamb donner meat tasted like eating rubber bands the chicken meat was dry also. I should of known the attitude and the way they prepared the food it was like they knew its was old. Also they never cut the meat fresh they had a silver heated storage were they takr meat out which may havr been cooked hours ago. Wouldn't recommend in this day and age especially.

Absolutely delicious Masala Fish! Tried to be healthy and have the grilled but its just not the same. A regular Friday treat for me.

Their sweet chilli base pizzas are thick with cheese - yummy 😋🧀
