The venue does not do the food justice, but the food was excellent. I don't have too much to say as the courses were all excellent, beautifully presented and prepared.

I had the thirteen courses with sake pairing and it was an amazing experience. The service, the knowledge of both the food and the sake, the food itself and the way it was served and presented were all five stars. Can’t understand why the restaurant wasn’t busier.

This wasn't our first Michelin tasting experience but, by far, it was the best. Every detail is thought out I.e. constant discrete placement of the menu and drinks so that they were always facing us and allowed space for the dishes. Alongside descriptions of each dish, the hosts were more than happy to discuss the intricacies of the dishes. We arrived at 7.10 and left at 10.45, we took the evening at our pace and were never pressured to change that. For all there were another 5 tables of diners, it felt very exclusive and it was lovely to see the masters (chefs) at work, although I was also tempted to sneak a peak over the counter! The food itself was out of this world, the flavours were exquisite and the presentation stunning. Don't let the size of the dishes put you off, there is more flavour and substance in one dish than a story carb laden meal and you won't leave feeling hungry. I honestly don't have the words needed to accurately reflect the intensity, quality and perfection of each dish.

I wanted to take my partner somewhere special for her birthday. We both love Japanese food and have eaten in many Japanese restaurants across London. We had the £105 Omakase tasting menu. I expected the portions to be small, but just how small they were was a surprise. With a tasting menu you still expect the portions to be large enough that you have the sensation of eating something. I really didn't get that sensation with these dishes. They were beautifully presented, but offensively tiny. I was left feeling very unsatisfied. I was shocked when they brought the first dish, which was apparently a soup, it was a small glass with a blob of green liquid at the bottom. It was a struggle to scoop a spoonful out. Picture attached. Looks like the soup has now been removed from the menu, I'm not surprised! The other dishes followed in the same vein. The evening was an expensive disappointment. I would avoid unless you have already eaten a full meal beforehand.

The food is not only good but so much more. An unmissable experience made of authenticity and incomparable flavours. Unforgettable experience in the truest sense of the word.

I never quite count on finding a new favourite Japanese restaurant in London. Having dined in numerous japanese restaurants across many cities, this turns out to be one of the tops - the presentation is beautiful, food quality amazing and service pleasantly attentive without being intrusive (all staff were good but special shout out to Ryu!). Note though that lunch is served on weekends only, but dinner is available daily :) Location is only a short walk from London eye and National Theatre.

This is an interesting one. Some great food that comes out of the kitchen, however concerned that style may have overtaken substance here. Huge Christmas tress on a serving board with your individual dishes on more then one occasion. Had the sake wine flight & our waiter unfortunately did not know anywhere near enough regarding the bottles served. Knowing where food/drink comes from & how it is produced is important to me. When spending £560 + 12.5% service charge (I refused to pay service charge) you expect better/more. Also haven’t seen this before but incorporated in your table reservation that you have to pay a deposit for is a service charge. 1. This was not clear to me 2. A service charge should be representative of the service received, how are you able to charge this before a guest is even seated? This most definitely seems wrong to me & leaves a bit of a bad taste.

We visited for a post theatre meal based on the reviews and it was even better than I'd envisaged. We had the 6 course taster and I had the sake wine flight with it. Couldn't recommend more highly! Top twp courses: the most perfect tempura scallop and Waygu beef but all were delicious!

Had a 'reunion' dinner with an old friend and neighbour and her sons here a couple of days ago. We had a set 'taster' menu, which allowed us to talk and catch up all evening. Food was excellent, staff polite and attentive. Attractive surroundings. Nothing but praise for the restaurant. A bit hard to find, which of course isn't their fault. For anyone planning to go there, it's on the west side of County Hall, south of Westminster Bridge, just past the Marriott Hotel and to the left in a courtyard, with the restaurant plainly signed on the left side. (Hope that might help a few people pinpoint it.)

Brother and I order two bento boxes, lobster tempura and wagyu. Then dessert ice cream and coffees. Tempura is absolutely good, better than most I eat in Japan and Hong Kong. Wagyu delicious. Ice creams and coffees all nice. The place is clean and spacious, staff there polite.

I was very lucky to find this restaurant when I was looking for somewhere to have lunch while I waited for the river boat. I was welcomed by very friendly staff and seated in the comfortable restaurant. All the dishes were beautifully presented and freshly prepared with high quality ingredients - with this type of food it is not possible to disguise any shortcuts or economies. Service was prompt and efficient without making me feel rushed. I will definitely return to try their tasting menu one evening.

I had the six course tasting menu, wish now I had ordered the ten course as the food was exceptional. Hannah’s should have a Michelin star, am sure they will soon. Stylish, simple and the service and service was great. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Will definitely be back next time I am in London

From the presentation to the quality of food being served, Hannah is one of the best restaurant experiences in London. The service in particular was very impressive, with our server, Yuri being especially attentive as well as the chefs being incredibly welcoming. The dishes themselves were not only beautifully and intentionally designed, but they each tasted amazing and are definitely some of the most memorable plates I have ever had. The seasoning for each was perfect and the little details truly tied the entire experience together. As mentioned above the atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, cultivating a very personal experience. You get what you pay for at Hannah, and that would be exceptional quality and service.

I went there with my teenage daughter for lunch. There were ala carte and bento boxes on the menu. We wanted to try the bento boxes. We were so amazed when our food arrived, so beautifully presented with all the trimmings and the taste was exquisite! What a wonderful experience. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The meal was the highlight of our day out London. And good value too. Great service and staff are friendly.

Came here yesterday with a few friends for Wing Wednesday and I can honestly say they were the worst wings any of us had ever had. The meat is average quality, but they put SO MUCH breading on the wings, the amount of crunch is actually painful. That's before we get to the buffalo sauce. Apparently it's 'World Famous', but honestly, the only thing I can think it's famous for is the INSANELY high salt content! You know that tingling feeling you get when you eat something spicy? I thought my tongue was tingling for that reason, but no, it soon became apparent that it was from the amount of salt they put in this 'World Famous' Buffalo Sauce. Then there is the speed at which they serve them. They take forever to bring out the next plate of wings because they clearly know that the longer you're eating, the more full you will get, so the less wings you will eat. The only redeeming features of this trip were the atmosphere and the friendly staff. If not for these, it would be a solid 1* review. Just don't do the Buffalo Wings!
