Jack's in Brent

Was looking forward to having breakfast here after it's recent refurbishment. Unfortunately my daughter had a hair in her breakfast and couldn't continue eating. I then found one in mine as well so we had to leave. The waitresses who were very nice apologised and offered us another breakfast but we declined.

Vivimos 4 años en Queens Park y nunca estuvimos tentados de entrar en este lugar. Sólo fuimos para el juego y hizo que el estúpido error de pedir comida. Tengo calambres en el estómago. La carne de hamburguesa era inferior a la media y así eran las patatas fritas. La hamburguesa vegetal era tan grasosa que mi novia tenía que quitar cada vegetal.

Great service and food. The staff were really friendly, even have a lovely conversation in Spanish with one of the waitresses. Very sharp and all smiles. The food was served in no time. Enjoyed it very much.

I went for breakfast last saturday with my friends and was extremely impressed with Jacks, it has improved a lot since the renovation. The waitresses were very helpfull and the food was even better than I remembered it. Definitely coming back soon.

Had lunch here today with colleagues and really enjoyed it. Nice pizza and fresh salad whilst sitting outside. Huge pizza slice was very good value. Will definitely go back.

Used to be Jacks cafe, now has a lovely pizzeria style to it, good cocktails and lovely burgers, great food for lunch or dinner

Absolutely poor customer service from Jack’s via UberEats. They refused to cancel an order I placed claiming “the entire order was already on the grill”! Really? So you managed to whip up 2 slices of French toast Brioche, bacon , fried eggs and American pancakes within 20 seconds of me placing the order?!

La pizza jamón aquí no es una broma. La hamburguesa de cerdo desmenuzado los gustos como madre de alguien seres esclavizados. Sus desayunos son la razón principal por la que salir de cama en los fines de semana. El personal es encantador. Grandes aficionados al sin fin café y té. El restaurante en sí sólo tenía un lavado de cara. Estamos asiduos ahora.

Almorzamos pero este lugar sirve desayunos todos los días. Así que 3 adultos y dos pequeños tenía una de las más comidas varía en mucho tiempo.

Jack's is by far the best restaurant in Queens Park. They have a large variety of pizzas, and you can even take some away by slice! Their BBQ chicken is the most amazing chicken I have ever tasted and their prawns are also perfectly seasoned....

After I schedule a delivery order for the day After, after 2 hours waiting time I got enough and I canceled everything. Noone who answered the phone noone to give you a call. Worst organization ever.

Came here a couple of days ago to find that it is shut at the moment and the windows have been whitewashed so it looks as though it is being renovated and will be shut for some time.

Best british breakfast in London and the best american pancakes ever. Nice and cosy atmosphere. Staff very friendly. It's usually crowded, so try to get there early or be open to share table.

I was taken to Jacks for breakfast while on a visit to London. The menu was large, the helpings were huge and the food very tasty. The waitrons who served us were very pleasant. I would definitely go back again when in the area.

I was meeting a friend in Queens Park, but I was going to be way to early, so I popped into Jack's because I thought it would be a nice place to wait for him. There was a big sign by the door saying please wait here, so I stood there. I could see that there were some tables free in further down the restaurant.

Pensamos pop en brunch, ya que vivimos cerca y el lugar parecía bueno - está situado en el corazón de Salisbury rd y tiene una zona de estar al aire libre. El sitio también tiene un ambiente agradable y el ambiente, así que todo parecía prometedor. Pedimos dos vegetarianos desayunos ingleses y sólo me dijeron que unos 10 minutos más tarde que tendríamos que esperar unos 30 minutos ya que la cocina estaba demasiado ocupado. Esperé 35 minutos con el servicio desatendido - nadie molestó para ofrecer una recarga para nuestras bebidas o darnos cualquier actualización de donde estaba nuestra comida. La comida era servida con ninguna forma finalmente disculpa, etc. y cuando se vinieron abajo, el desayuno era muy normalito y no merece la pena esperar más de 40 minutos. No creo que volver ya que hay otros lugares cercanos con más que ofrecer en términos de la calidad de la comida y el servicio.

I have to say, sometimes you don't want a healthy breakfast. You just don't. The only time I visit Jacks is when I want to be completely glutinous.

The location is nice, in the heart of Queens' park but the service slow, the waitress took the wrong order, forgot the food and eventually it arrived not properly cooked. The sausage was half burn and and half raw. At the end of the meal the espresso was very long. I won't go back.

Service is a bit slow but the menu choices are fantastic and the food is tasty considering the prices are very reasonable!

I just had lunch here, I sent my plate back as it was disgusting and my partner is now feeling SICK! Service is poor too and they keep bins by the outdoor table. Don't go!

I've been always there only for a breakfast and it was great! Loads of choices and good food. Staff is normally nice as well and they don't mind to personalise your choice. Like it and love to go there on weekend brunch or full English.

Fantastic American-English style diner. I really love this place, I normally come once a month for the last 3 or 4 years. I normally go for the Eggs Benedict. The muffins and eggs are always, always, always cooked perfectly. Great variety in the menu, my 2 year old boy is always happy with the kids menu. Well worth a visit if you are nearby, the restaurant is always quite busy as it has a good reputation. Parking available just outside, approx £2.50 an hour on the meter. Staff are always great too!

I always have the large builders breakfast here which is good value. Sadly they now use cheaper sausages but they are still edible. All the other components to the breakfast are excellent. Chef rather inflexible sometimes about changing items, but never mind. Still the best breakfast in the area.

I have visited Jack's several times with my husband and grown-up children and we have always enjoyed it. Breakfasts are good quality and very filling. The service has always been OK but nothing special. I'm always exasperated to find that their card machine is STILL not working - didn't check yesterday.Yesterday I visited with my elderly mum who was in a wheelchair and I was very disappointed with the service. The cafe was almost empty but staff were unwilling to help us in or out. There are no tables that a wheelchair can get close enough to eat comfortably. There was a stack of high-chairs blocking our way to the tables at the back which offered the best (but by no means ideal) chance of Mum being able to reach the table to eat. They grudgingly moved the high-chairs but then put them back where they were so that I had to move them myself in order to get out!The waitress said that they don't offer skimmed milk although I've had it there before.

Been here several times and had different Breakfast/Brunch options. Last Summer was great to sit outside.

Have used Jack's on and off for years. Popped in their this morning for a late breakfast. Jst wanted a bacon roll and some coffee. No rolls and no coffee. Evetualy got a toasted bacon and egg sandwich. Still no coffee Really surly service. Charged me £5 for the sandwich. Never again - plenty of alternatives in Queens Park.

We've came with my brother for a Saturday lunch and we have to wait to be seated since it was very busy. After 10' we were seated in a booth and given menus by Fahd the waiter which was great with us at all time. My brother picked 'the royale' breakfast and I chose 'the double'. I change some of the ingredients (no extra charge's and even though it was quite busy, food only yolltook 10' to come. The coffee was included (was good, not amazing) and overall the experience was very nice. Definitely we will come back.

Working in the area and it was one of the first places I tried. The food is good portions, but lacks in flavor and flare. Ok for a quick bite if you're hungry, but I would rather go a little further down the road.

I came here for breakfast with a few friends and had the builders large breakfast.The food is good and much better then most greasy spoons breakfasts.The seating is comfortable and have no real complaints of the decor. Service is quick and pleasant.The price is slightly more then most greasy spoons but at the same time the breakfast is superior to most so it's a good balance.All in all I would recommend it if your in the area and fancy a breakfast. I haven't had lunch or anything else so can't comment on that.

The service here was very good, however when the food we had been waiting for a while was unfortunately cold and the bread completely dry. If this was not the case I am sure it would have been a pleasant visit.

What a disappointing experience- I used to work in the area and visited regularly but this was my last visit there. Place looked tired and run down with notices to customers printed on paper and just stuck on the wall. Food was ok- quite enjoyed pulled pork, wine seemed to be rather weak.The worst experience was service- just nonexistent- two waitresses for two tables snd we were still not served- literary they only took our food and drink order at the beginning and that was the service for the night. They seemed to not mind- just being on their phones and having cigarettes breaks every so often- basically they didn't deserve the tip. My friend actually complained to them about lack of service but they simply just shrugged their shoulders so obviously didn't care.

We used to go there in 2008-2012 and always ALWAYS happy with food and service.This year it was huge disappointment.Food was ok although presentation of Nachos not the best. Pulled pork was good but not amazing to be honest.Speaking about wine. I was happy with my Malbec but my friends ordered different type of red wine and it was really watery.Most terrible experience in this restaurant was service. Nobody ask as if we would like to have more wine or water. They just took empty glasses and that's it. Also we wanted to have a coffee and possibly dessert but once again non of the waitresses offer it or didn't ask if we would be interested. They have been staying just close by and chatting, playing on their phones or go for cigarettes. We have asked for bill and have been waiting for it pretty long time and then after another almost 15 min we ask if we can finally pay!We have been there from aprox 7:45pm till 10:30pm) and they basically didn't care about us at all although we were interested to spend much more in this business.Restaurant was empty to be honest and all other places in Queens Park pretty busy. Now I know why.When we have been complaining about their service it looks that they doesn't care at all.This place changed rapidly in very bad way and they lost another costumers.

They use fat horrible rubber bacon on the american breakfast instead of streaky its very nadty bacon.The toast and sausages are nice.Staff good decor good.Nice location.

We live local to Jack's and have been here a few times, but it's always been pretty average. It's usually quite busy so we thought we were missing something, but have now decided to give up for a few reasons: - Service is appalling. One day we asked for two sandwiches on brown bread. They bring us sandwiches with white bread. When questioned they said they ran out of brown so just decided to make it on white. Would it not be common courtesy to at least let us know and give us an opportunity to change the order? - Food is mediocre and over-priced. Have tried several different meals there and they've all been pretty lack-lustre. Milkshakes are nice, but so expensive. To top it off they say they can only take cash because they're card machine is broken, however it's been the case for at least 18 months. Seems a bit dodgy? Honestly, do yourself a favour and head over to the cafe's across the road. Better service, better food and better value.

Can't get enough to this place. Always go there with son and husband on my lazy day of cooking breakfast. Good food and service. Recommended

This is simply the worst breakfast I have ever received. Everything about the place indicates a lack of love and poor hygiene practices. Even the celery in the Bloody Mary was rotten. Basically the food is revolting.

Ive been coming to Jacks for 7 years so here are my coments:Pros- quantity of food: big portions- quality of food: I manily had big breakfasts and its just wonderfull- prices: have increased quite fast but still worth it- service: fast and attentive- seating outside and indoorsCons:-prices as mentioned above- it can get loud and very busy quickly

This is not a budget cafe - if you are looking for one of those head to Kensal Rise - but the menu here is huge, the place is comfortable with some outdoor seating and the staff are friendly. The food is very high quality but pricey at about £6 for a jacket potato, £ 8.5 for an omelette and £10 for breakfast dishes.

This was a really disappointing brunch. Only one person really liked their dish out of 7, and the rest of us found it to be very average. Prices are good, plenty of seating outside, service ok. No gluten free options

This would've been a 2 star rating had the manager not come to rectify the misunderstandings. We were a group of 3 + baby. Ordered chilli nachos or something to start then the main courses. Waitress didn't speak English so well so had to point at a lot of things in the menu. Main courses came out with nachos. Told waitress we wanted them as a starter so if she could take them back as wasn't going to eat nachos with the main course. I know I know I could have eaten them with my main meal but I had specifically asked for them as a starter. Anyway manager came out and apologised and took them away and he was lovely about it. Got to my main meal - lasagna - was a shrivelled up, overly baked thing that was dry and tasteless. Same meat mix and sauce used in lasagna is used for their meat chilli as tasted my friends. At this point I kinda wished I didn't kick up a fuss cuz those nachos were looking pretty good now :( might go here again to sit outside and have a beer but don't think for food.

Food wasn't great and staff were difficult to communicate with. It's standard burgers and hot sandwich type place so not ideal if you want something a bit more special, but location is good and average food.

We probably shouldn't have sat out in the direct sun, but the man was trying to be helpful as we had a pram and so we sat at the end. Lots of menu choice, looks like a great place to go for breakfasts with visiting friends, or after a night out. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't have to wait too long for the food. Nice spacious outdoor seating. It isn't cheap, but it's average for the area. Much better food than places around that offer similar menus in this area. Good atmosphere. Great place to go out and relax!

Their breakfasts are pretty good with decent bangers, strong tea and good toast, but the bacon can be bland and the eggs are sometimes overdone. It is a nice enough place to sit but the real problem is the cost - compared to the great caffs of old it is expensive. I was recently charged £1.50 for a small tub of cheap marmalade i.e. as much as a whole jar. Businesses need to turn a profit but it feels like this is the sole objective of the place.

Went with family for our evening meal and enjoyed lovely burgers. I had the chicken burger which was huge and came with steak cut chips as well - fantastic and worth the money. As a bonus it was nice and warm so we sat outside with plenty of tables available, but in the winter, there are patio heaters so I imagine that it's really nice all year round.

I used to be a regular in this place, but haven't been for a long time as I moved. Recently visited again during afternoon and I was shocked how expensive this place became. Food was lovely and good quality but service was absolutely disappointing. Paying over £30 for: breakfast, omelette and pancakes you would expect to be at least greeted and served in a timely manner. Restaurant was quiet It took over 10 minutes to place the order, tables outside were messy and sticky from dirt.Staff members were either washing the floor inside, or swiping the floor outside next to us for at least 20 minutes making all dust go into our food. There was another member of staff piling up empty cardboard boxes in the sitting area and them breaking them as we had our breakfast. There was not a single member of staff available to serve us and bring ketchup or salt so we helped ourselves. When the pancakes arrived we haven't had a single piece of cutlery on our table so we had to go inside the restaurant and get it from someone else's table as everyone member of staff was either cleaning or not visible at all. We then asked for some maple syrup, which arrived in a tiny plastic pot. We then discovered we were charged additional £1,70 for literally 2 spoons of maple syrup. I just cannot believe how once very lovely, local, friendly and affordable place turned into a very expensive and overpriced restaurant with dirty sticky dusty tables and minimal service. I'm disappointed to be have paid so much for breakfast and few drops of syrup!

After a good walk from Queens park with hubby. We decided to try Jack's as it our anniversary to start our simple celebration. We had a lovely food breakfast & service was ok too.

I love this restaurant . Food is excellent and served fast . My favourite breakfast place in London .

Nothing beats a Breakfast at Jack's and that's why I keep on coming back for more. I loyalty card carrying customers and on a Saturday morning Jacks is always at the forefront of my mind. They also do really nice lunches so definitely check it out.

2nd time I've visited now and both times food has been great, service excellent and if you get there before 10:30 the prices very reasonable (for London) on the early bird menu.

This place do some ridiculous sized breakfasts, with some healthy options and smoothies too. Service can be a bit confused, but it's a decent cafe for breakfast and offers very good value. Nothing fancy, but a good solid breakfast cafe.

Loved the full English breakfast, atmosphere was great with customer service. I'd definitely recommend this place to people who love breakfast and the prices were decent.

I thought this might be a bit special as it's been in business for so long but the breakfast was bland. Plain sausage, small egg, beans, mushrooms and 2 small slices of toast. The interior was also cheap looking and worn. The service was passable.

I came here a couple of times to have breakfast. The place is sort of American-diner inspired, the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, the food quality is excellent! I was really satisfied by the portions as well. Would definitely recommend.

For non tech stuff I would probably rate them 3 but considering that their wifi is broken badly, their wordpress site doenst even display any kind of contact information and it hardly loads I decided to downgrade my review. I doubt I would return as I can get better in multiple other places on a 100m range.

£11.50 for a steak, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, veggie sausage and mushrooms. Delicious, and went down well with a nice milkshake.Nice service, nice area, worth a visit!

Finally made it to Jacks. They do an all day breakfast menu with a lunch and dinner menu. The menu is big with loads to offer. English to American. I choose a double English breakfast but made it veggie with veggie potato sausages with halloumi instead of bacon. Wow it was big!! Very big!! It comes with bottomless tea or coffee or fresh juice. Its not cheap at £9 but it was defo worth it. It was alittle too much for me next time I'll go for the single.

I live in the area and today I decided to bring my sister and her boyfriend visiting from Italy for English breakfast. They enjoyed the food, but the customer service was very disappointing. Even though it was clear they are foreigners, the waitress couldn't wait for me to translate what she was asking and the whole ordering process was very frustrating because she would speak directly to them rushing them, so they ended up ordering things they wouldn't really order.the guys at the till weren't nicer either.knowing the area I won't go back for sure, I'll go for any of the other cafès in Salusbury road.

We were a 4'some for breakfast. Got there about 11:30am Easter Monday. Seating not a problem but by 12pm the place was full and I noticed a sign saying maximum time at table 90 minutes so be warned.All four breakfasts were faultless, service quick and fast paced, they clearly are conscious about the 90 minute rule.Coffee was slow flowing had to chase but overall a good breakfast.

I go to Jacks about every other week and have a full English breakfast, which is usually great. The service is always top notch and staff are extremely friendly. I was rather set aback today when I ordered my usual breakfast and asked to swap one of the sausages for an extra poached egg. The waitress took the order and then came back only to tell me that the chef had refused. Disappointed because I am paying £9 for the breakfast and expect some level of flexibility, and secondly because an egg is a lot cheaper than the (high quality) sausages they use! It must have been a matter of principle for the chef. Safe to say I won't be talking about the place with quite the level enthusiasm I usually do from now on.

There's nothing specifically wrong with Jacks, the service was fine and it's not particularly expensive, I just found the food to be a little bland and dull.

The service is poor and the staff don't know what they are doing or care. We ordered 2 meals, the 1st arrived and the 2nd they completely forgot about. They didn't even realise until I asked where it was.

Jack's is awesome. I often go there with my friend and have always received a great service. The portion sizes are worth the prices and their team is always friendly- especially the blonde guy who is always make us feel welcome.My only complaint is that their Pina Colada is too damn watery and they recently cut the portion size of their cheesecake.

Visited here for breakfast, knowing it'd be expensive because of where it's situated.We opted for the (before 10.30am) large breakfast. At £7 it's more than I'd normally pay, but when it arrived, it was obviously a step above your average breaky. With filted coffee & toast included, it was good value for money. We visited the next day too.Very popular too, most tables were taken on both occasions.

I have had their halloumi burger, egg roll, jacket potatoes are massive! beef pastrami, goats cheese salad, all very good, very reasonable, good size portions.

I ordered the grilled chicken and fries that was served to me on a wooden choppin board type thing. To my horror after eating half I discovered a huge split in the board pic uploaded. The places appears to get worse each time I visit. I used to go here 25 years ago and it's slowly gone up and come down. The place looks nice and trendy. Shame the food and staff don't match. I won't be going here again. The manager told me I wouldn't have to pay for it - it's nice they didn't expect me to pay for contamination. She confirmed that there was food hygiene trained staff working. I was surprised to say the least

Ok.. Simply Ok! The service is average, the food is average, the menu is average! There is nothing unique about Jack's Cafe. But if you do want a quick English Breakfast or a quick Brunch, then why not.

Visited Jack's on a Sunday early afternoon for some brunch with my boyfriend. Arrived to find it packed and another couple already waiting. A party of four then appeared and were seated before us! We mentioned to the waitress who said that we could have a table immediately if we shared a table with others. Never been to Jack's before so didn't know they operate a table sharing policy. Interesting concept but not for us. Finally a table for two opened up and we were seated at the back of the restaurant. It was a bit of a squeeze to get past some of the tables without knocking into someone. After a minute or two a sullen waitress came to the table and just stood there with her pen and pad at the ready. Didn't even ask if we were ready or needed a few more minutes. I opted for the DIY breakfast and my boyfriend had a single breakfast, we opted to share some pancakes and ordered bottomless tea as well.Our tea arrived a few minutes later and was slammed on the table by the sullen waitress. After adding milk it almost resembled stew. Goodness knows how long that tea had been sitting in the teapot cause it wasn't fresh! Soon our breakfasts arrived and it was quite nice. My bacon was nice and crispy and my boyfriend enjoyed his too. The pancakes were massively disappointing though and at £5.50 for a portion we thought it was a bit of a rip off. We had finished our cups of tea and tried to attract the attention of passing staff but were ignored. We finally got some service and I asked for a tea refill while my boyfriend asked for some orange juice. The juice arrived but my tea didn't. Once again we tried to attract some attention but were ignored. As we paid the bill we did mention it to the guy at the till but he just shrugged his shoulders and didn't care one bit.Don't reckon we'll be coming back to Jack's any time soon. Don't get me wrong, the food is nice but it's quite overpriced and the service is pretty bad.

I hadn't been here for over a year and I was reminded why a couple of days ago.The staff get worse and worse every year. You'll find more life at the morgue. I can't believe this is my first time writing a bad review for this place. In fact this is the first time I've ever written a review on this lame website (I'm using my gf's account). Somehow I have free time tonight. If it's not waitresses spilling sauce all over me and smiling about it, it's them giving me the wrong food, then seeing the russian mafia chefs giving me evils because I sent it back. This was definitely my last visit. 6 years ago this place was great. Also the food sucks compared to years ago. Just go to a builders cafe. Might not look as nice but you'll get better food for half the price. Also NEVER go in the evening wow I did that once. That was one evening I'll never get back. Au Revoir Jack

My friend and I both ordered the burger which was overdone and flavorless. We were sat by the kitchen which was very noisy. Staff were friendly.

Friendly service. Great for locals. I got the double breakfast which cost £9. A tad pricy for what it is but it went down well. What's great is they ask you how you would like your eggs and give you the choice between hash browns or chips. I went for the hash browns. The sausages were big and tasted great but the bacon was a bit too salty.

A nice, cosy, friendly place in the midst of a lot of very pretentious eateries in the area. I could not fault the food or the service. I would definitely come here again.

Visited here as we were passing, luckily they were able to accommodate us. A note of warning, they do ask you to share tables when they are busy - it would seem they don't have many two-person tables.The food was enjoyable, however service was a little slow - waitress too busy talking to each other. Brunch menu offered a wide selection. Overall we left satisfied. Defiantly visit again.

I have a strange relationship with this place, it's my local cafe and really for me the only credible place to get a good breakfast around here. Now with that being said it has its ups and downs. Let's start with the ups, service is ok I've never had a bad experience and I go about twice a month. The food is always fresh and is always clean. The downside for me is that the filter coffee is horrid and supposed to be refilled.... but no one will ever offer you a top up so you need to "fight for your right" which honestly after the first cup they can keep. It's a bit hectic later in the morning and can get loud but nothing unusual for London. Overall for a quick hangover cure this place hits the spot but be prepared to pay that little bit extra for what you get. I still go back and will continue to.

Family of five - we had a good time at Jack for our first lunch in the area. Food was good. Only downside were the cooking smells since we were sitting in front of the kitchen. A nice place though.

I just made my third and final visit to Jack's. I live nearby so it's handy and the location is good, being in the heart of Queen's Park. The service on each occasion varied between poor and awful. I went back a few times thinking that I may just have caught them on a bad day but I've learned my lesson this time and won't be returning. On my last visit, the waiter (who was unfriendly and obviously in a bad mood) forgot most of our drinks order and the part he did remember was incorrect. When prompted for the rest of the order he just walked off without saying anything, returning with some lukewarm tea and coffee that had obviously been sitting waiting for some time. The service is inattentive and if you want anything you generally have to get up and look for someone to get it for you. When we arrived we were waiting for a while to be seated and even though the staff saw us stood there, no-one said "I'll be with you in a minute" or anything - we just stood there. I also really dislike the fact that you can't pay at your table and have to queue up with people waiting to be seated in order to pay. The food is OK, nothing special however. I would not recommend this place and agree with a previous reviewer who said that it's only the location that keeps this place going - it's certainly not the service.

Was here on Saturday for brunch with friends at 11am. We won’t be going back. In this case packed doesn’t equal good. A classic maximising profit at the expense of customers when they don’t have to bother because of its location. Some examples: They stop serving breakfast at 10:30, they call it something slightly different on the menu and add £2. Worse than this, they employ kids to serve you. This in itself is no bad thing but they need to be more selective. The customer service is really poor. Our order was wrong. We had to ask for cutlery. I had orange juice spilt in my lap, but there was no offer of removing it from the bill or giving a discount. Customer service is the easiest thing to fix if it’s being run well. So whilst the food was OK, we won’t be going back.

Food was lovely and the area was quaint! lovely seating outside and they catered for children, which was lovely.

Queueing system is a little over the place but jacket potatoes are huge with lots of toppings. You should ask for a loyalty card.

Great local cafe / diner. Simple, effective, cheap. Absolutely the same service every time - very good simple food.

Ordered burgers with my wife and brother. All agree they are good but nothing spectacular.Also ordered a bottle of wine, the waiter needed prompting to bring it. It wasn't opened at the table or offered to be poured.The staff are friendly if a little incompetent. This place used to be a great place to go to in the queens park area, being here since 1902. Seems that they've forgotten the basics of waiting.

Living around the corner I would visit often, but in the last few years I think the food quality and service had gone down.I went for a sandwich yesterday and the filling was poor and the bread was horrible - cost over £5.00. They have changed the breads available a while ago, but they don't offer granary anymore. Service was shocking- kept waiting for ages and then given the impression that it was too much effort for the waitress.It is such a shame that Jack's can't up it's game - it used to be fantastic - get some polite and efficient staff and up the quality of food and cooking.

Stopped here for lunch with my mum, her friend and her friends grand daughter. Although the restaurant is supposed to be child friendly there was no where to change the baby.The waiter did not speak very good English and the service was poor. One of our meals came quite a while after the others and bearing in mind this was a "cold" sandwich and the other 2 meals were hot ours were cold by the time this one came!Overall I think this restaurant is over rated and I don't think I will be returning.

Nous sommes allés chez Jack's quelques fois, et dans mon souvenir c'était plutôt pas mal. Mais le dernier coup, il y a quelques mois, la déception était de mise. Nous avons eu droit à des burgers médiocres, une viande tristounette, des accompagnements gras et sans saveur... Manque de chance, ou est-ce que quelque chose a changé?
