TERRIBLE SERVICE TERRIBLE ATTITUDE Never ever been in a Restaurant that take ONE AND A HALF HOURS without being served and staff with despicable attitude because we had the audacity to complain . LEFT ….TOLD WE WERE NOT GETTING OUR DEPOSIT BACK , AWFUL EXPERIENCE BE WARNED !!

Chicken dry,beef like dinner meat. Very disappointed

Ordered special fried rice, never had one like this before, no chicken or pork? Just prawns and lots of beef, no drizzle of gravy/sauce either? Ordered bbq sauce and got bbq ribs? Food tasted ok but very overrated.

Giffnock está lleno de grandes lugares para comer. Lamentablemente este no es uno de ellos. El interior es drab, aburrido y anticuado. La alfombra es pegajosa, al igual que la barandilla sucia que conduce a los baños de abajo. El personal era lo suficientemente amable y el servicio era rápido, pero la comida era pobre. A juzgar por la mirada cansada del lugar jugué seguro con bolas de pollo. ¡Es la primera vez que me las sirven todas cortadas! Pedimos tres porciones de arroz y nos dieron dos (pero cobramos por tres). Tennents aparece como cerveza de barril por pinta, pero era una lata vertida en un vaso. Y ni una pinta puede en eso. Fue un error visitar este lugar. .

Ordered a take away for collection at 6.30, however, it wasn't ready until 9pm.Food was good but I won't be using this service again

waited 2hrs 45mins for food. when originally ordered was told would be 70mins max. then order complete changed to 1hr 45mins. food FINALLY arrived 2hrs 45mins later

Beef wasn't great but the rest of the food was nice

Most ridiculous thing I’ve ever encountered. I went in to eat and ordered 3 starters. She told me I had to order a main course. I said I didn’t want one be cause that’s plenty of food. She said I could just add some noodles or chips to my order as it had to spend £20 after 5pm (it was actually like 10 to when I walked in which made it even dumber but by the time she said those words it was bang on 5pm so I couldn’t argue). I was the only person in there so it’s not like I was taking up table space they needed. Worse still, she pointed out the pre-theatre menu and said I could order from that, a two course meal containing only one of the items I wanted and a lot of stuff I didn’t, for £15.90. Less than the cost of the order I wanted which was £18 odd. I once got a take away from here which wasn’t good but after seeing so many reviews saying take aways are rubbish but eating in is good I thought I’d give it a try. Guess I’ll never know as I’m never gonna be hungry enough to eat £20 worth of food by myself

First time visit. Absolutely delightful food and a surprisingly spacious, quiet space to enjoy the meal. The staff's service was excellent, without being intrusive or sales. We will be back.

No stars for service because it’s dreadful and uncomfortable to wait for takeout. 2 dishes took 40 mins!! Untrained ordering staff, rude, not friendly in the slightest and distinct lack of understanding of good customer service. Absolutely appalling, won’t be back.

Everything was lovely apart from chicken balls, chicken balls were far too salty and quite soggy.

Delivery arrived separately drinks one driver food another, everything. Was tasty except the battered sweet and sour chicken

We order from here religiously - shamefully maybe 2/3 times a week 🫣 the food is just so delicious and they always give us prawn crackers and fortune cookies! Thank you ! 🤩 our go to Chinese for a while now

Nearly 2 hours for deliver and was cold on arrival

Delivery time didn’t update for about 10 minutes after the later time. Had to walk up the street to meet the driver. Food was cold by the time I received it.

Wouldn't recommend as a takeaway but dinning in the restaurant is superb. They do an insane Foo yung not many places can execute this dish. Used to go here with my mum for lunch and even had my father's wake here in 2008. Food dinning in the restaurant is amazing. Staff are very alternative. And they are very accommodating when I took my baby daughter in here. Overall I love this Chinese restaurant. Would highly recommend this restaurant to dine in.

Conducir por Giffnock se detuvo para encontrar un lugar para comer. Pensé que le daríamos una oportunidad a este lugar, no es mi mejor opción. El personal era lo suficientemente amable, el lugar estaba limpio, bonita decoración pero muy tranquilo. Pedidos de bebidas y comida rápidamente tomados. Mains llegó rápido, mi Singapore Chom Mein estaba sabroso, razonablemente presentado, sin embargo, el arroz frito de ternera de mi acompañante no era impresionante, parece una pila de papilla con algunos trozos muy secos de carne a través de ella. Ella mordisqueó pero no me dejó quejarme. No es una gran visita y no uno que recomendaría.

Really good order. Everything was piping hot and fresh. Batter on salt and chilli chicken was crisp and not at all greasy. Really enjoyed it!

Soups were fine .Munchy box was not!Chicken nuggets were good Wings and ribs dry with very little meat. Spring rolls greasy very little fillling . Box filled with large quantity of overseasoned very salty chips basically inedible. Disappointing

Went here for my partners birthday with 3 adults and a child. The good - the food is great. The bad - the service is absolutely atrocious. Three starters were served and we waited 20 minutes for the fourth starter which was a pancake roll. This meant that 3 of us ate first to avoid a freezing starter. For main my partner ordered fillet beef, peppers and black bean sauce but received chicken instead. Not wanting another delay we accepted this and notified the staff. For main the child had chickens balls with barbecue sauce but they served everything without the barbecue sauce meaning the child couldn’t eat. We chased this 3 times and another 20 minutes wait we eventually got the sauce. We brought this up to the staff who really didn’t seem to care less and blamed this on the amount of takeout orders they had backed up in the kitchen. The female staff in particular are blunt, rude and need training on basic customer service. A poor excuse as dine in customers should take priority considering they were making a profit of £29 from the 2 bottles of wine we bought due to their high mark up of wine. Will not be back.

Mushroom omelette was lovely all requests met. Compliments to the chef and delivery driver thank you.

I never received my order I have disputed t with my bank and still not had a refund. I use this place all the time not usually any issues I would like another order or a refund.

Worst chicken with black bean sauce I've ever had. Next to no black bean sauce. Whole thing was tasteless.

Fried rice was really greasy and so was the beef curry a layer of grease on top of the curry. Really not nice. I have ordered from here a lot but won’t be back

The beef and mushrooms was absolutely dire. Really chewy fatty bits of beef. I honestly don't understand why the takeaway is so bad considering eating in the restaurant is far superior. The spring rolls were swimming in grease. Be sticking to the Far East for a takeaway option in future.

the chicken balls were not balls, just a piece of chicken in batter cut up! Disappointing. Chips in regular paper bag which fell to pieces when taken from the plastic bag because of condensation which made the chips soggy.

You know when you're really looking forward to a Chinese after a long day at work.. yeah, go somewhere else. The tofu wasn't drained before cooking so it was full of liquid and the whole dish was ruined because it was so wet and soggy. The prawn toast? That is not a portion that is am absolute con. Sweet and sour cantonese curry was passable but nothing to write home about. Cheers guys.

Our first visit to Jasmine One this evening. A very warm welcome from Susie. Comfortable table, very clean. I ordered Prawn cocktail, my husband, Chicken and sweetcorn soup, both lovely. I then had Grilled Lemon chicken , husband had mixed Satay. Absolutely beautiful, well presented, piping hot, plentiful and I'd go as far as to say the best lemon chicken Ive had in a long time. Sammi,served us, what a pleasant, helpful girl!! Having read some of the reviews we had hoped it would be good, it definitely was and we will return. Thank you Jasmine One. I Should add, the restaurant is not suitable for disabled, toilets are down two flights of stairs.

This was the best Chinese food I’ve had for years if not ever! Awesome service, our waitress was funny and helpful, kind and considerate. Sweet and sour was fresh and chicken was tender in the inside and crispy on the outside. Chicken curry was so fresh, all starters perfect too! We will be returning for sure, it’s a bit away as we are in East Kilbride however sit in or takeaway is now going to be a short trip to Jasmin 1 !! Thank you 😌

Takeaway tonight. Ordered online at 6.30, was told pick up at 7.05. Arrived at 7.05, was greeted by a rude young lady who told me they were just, it would be another 10 mins and they’d phone me when ready. Wasn’t going to go home after driving there so opted to wait in the restaurant. That was the first mistake. An hour later, after watching customer after customer complain and be fobbed off by the lady who I think is the owner - horrible individual named Mary - the food eventually was ready. I wish I could say it was worth the wait but it was dreadful. Half duck was not cooked enough, flabby skin all over the place, bones still in through the shredded meat. Beef fillet with black pepper. The beef has never been fillet in its life and the sauce tastes like vinegar, not pepper. Chicken satay resembled an oil slick. The only thing we could really eat was the noodles. I phoned to express my concern. Again fobbed off. No offer to replace or refund - I suspect I was not the first complainer of the evening as they did not sound at all surprised. I was eventually offered a token credit note for next time -£10, despite having spent £50 on food which went in the bin. Didn’t accept the credit note as I will never ever be back. Shame as it used to be good, sadly not now

Appalling delivery service, am still waiting for delivery for an order that was placed over 2 and half hours ago. Despite having called and been told the order was out the kitchen and waiting for delivery driver almost 45 mins ago - order still not here. Try somewhere else.

Take away. We’ve been using JOne for years but sadly it’s no longer good. Second time in a row I ordered HK style sweet and sour and again got chicken balls and a separate sauce. Ordered salt n chilli chicken goodness n yes what I got - it was wet and I’d guess should be dry. Times up for us Iam afraid. Much more competition out there ( wee china. Cathcart road next time ) - so disappointed

Salt and chilli chips missing from order. After flagging problem they arrived an hour and half later...too late! On opening another dish after first complaint we discovered it was wrong item..char sui with mushrooms instead of char sui with beansprouts. Also noodles delivered which were not ordered. 3 mistakes in one expensive order, disappointing.

This is a revue of two tales. First visit here after a trip to Rouken Glen. First tale is the good news The food is excellent starters and mains were all tasty and of high quality. 2nd tale is the bad news. I waited 40 mins from time of ordering for a simple Sweet & Sour Chicken which must be one of their most popular dishes. We were seated on arrival facing the kitchen service area. Very noisy with chattering staff toing and froing. We asked for a table change but were told all unoccupied tables were reserved for booked customers. 90 mins later, when i finally had recd my main dish and we were finished, no one had yet occupied any vacant tables. It was still early evening.Lack of flexibility and too long a wait, spoiled an otherwise good food experience.

From start to finish this was a very poor experience. The decor is dated and carpet tacky. The food was of a very poor standard for all but one of our group. We should have said something at the time but not sure that it would have made any difference. The service was passable but almost as though they were doing us a favour. To compound it all when our green tea and sweets were presented to us at 9.30 the waiter told us that they closed at 10 .00. We presumed that meant that no more food or drink could be bought after that which was fine but unknown to us they actually wanted us out of the building by 10!! At 10.03 I went downstairs to use the toilet only to find that all of the lights had been turned off. I went back up and asked for them to be switched back on and was told that they didn’t have a license for after 10.00. I stated that all I wanted to do was use the toilet before heading home I didn’t want to buy anything else. After much humphing and moaning the older lady consented to go downstairs and put on the lights for me. Mind you this only served to show how poor a state the place was in. Never been there before and will never return.

Ordered at 6.55 and was told on app would come between 7.50 and 8.10. Never came until 9.10. I asked for no onions in the curry sauce but came with onions. Very disappointed

They were busy and under pressure so service was a little slower than usual but same good food and pleasant staff.

We ordered our food at 6pm, was supposed to arrive between 7.15 and 7.35. After two phone calls to the restaurant it arrives at 9.33pm.

Food is good but the waiting time is terrible. If the say 35mins prepare to wait an well over an hour.

Food was cold sent wrong sauce they sent curry sauce that was cold and congealed absolutely disgusting binned the lot

Ordered a delivery and was given an estimated delivery time within the hour. I called when it had not arrived and was told that it was leaving the shop that minute; 10mins away from the house. The info in just eat changed suddenly advising of a delay, adding a further 50 mins on to original delivery time. We waited and when nothing appeared I called to cancel. The call was extraordinary, a female staff member was screaming at the young staff member I had initially spoken with, accusing him of lying to me; like going old school tonto on him. For the sake of the young guy, I agreed to give it another 5 mins. The food arrived, 1 hour and 45 mins since order. The first tub I opened had a dead fly on the top......never again.

Very large order for party, delivered ASAP.. before expected which was great service. All items present, hot and tasty with freebies included. Everyone enjoyed the food.

I booked the order same as last time, it was still late , same as last time, what's happening to this place. Why can't you deliver the food on time as it was booked about 4hrs before .

Typical Glasgow Chinese at a reasonable price but nothing special

I don't know if the driver has went out with multiple deliveries. My food was on time, but this is several times I have ordered from here and food is delivered cold. I won't order from here again!

food arrived cold and food was off standard, I think I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

We ordered 3 meals last night ,salt and pepper chicken,shredded chicken honey and chilli, and chicken curry....firstly the rice was cold...all chicken dishes had the same chicken ..none shredded...the sauce was watery in the curry.the salt and pepper had no chillies in it and the shredded chicken tasted and looked like a bottle of sweet chilli sauce.....none of us ate our meals as they were tasteles....we will never go back and feel we wasted our money
