KFC Newton Abbot - Queen Street in Teignbridge

Ordered at 16:30 with estimated delivery time at 17:50. Food still at preparing and estimated time changed multiple times, current estimated delivery time 19:35. Edit: never received the order

Since the makeover of this store, service is terrible. Waited 50 minutes for our food. Items were missed from our order. They focus to much on takeaway deliveries than the customers in their waiting. Food was very dry when we finally got to eat it.

This is the second time in the last 6 weeks we have ordered from KFC newton Abbott. The first time we never got the order and had to drive into newton abbott to collect it. This time the order was delivered but with both meals missing the fries. Very disappointed as every other time we use just eat the service and orders are great.

Order was marked as delivered but never arrived. Almost £70 paid all for someone else to eat. And Just Eats customer service is shocking, 2 days response time doesn't help with missing food tonight.

Such a shame that even after the refurbishment, the wait it still too long, the orders aren't correct and the chicken piece in one of the box meals wasn't fully cooked.

Ordered on just eat. Waited an hour and 55 minutes and did not arrive. No one answering phone. Took money and now have to wait for refund fuming!

Never arrived at all. Restaurant haven’t answered phone for over an hour. I have a screenshot 45 minutes after they say they delivered saying it was still being prepared blatantly lied!

Very good food, everything still hot. Courier was very polite and asked for the order code which I’m glad is a thing now.

You can guarantee that there's always going to be something missing from your order. There's nothing more infuriating than getting home to realise this and they never answer the phone! Is 8pm mid week really that difficult to correctly fulfil an order? I have no idea how they survive the weekends!!

Had kfc last week and it was fresh and tasty. Tonight the chicken had been cooked and waiting for a while, and no taste to the chips. Mash potato was good both times 👌🤣

After being closed for a refit for several weeks ,the staff had plenty of time for retraining, etc. After waiting over 10 minutes for someone to take my order, I then had to wait a further 10 minutes for 4 pieces of chicken. Ok if they had been freshly cooked but they were only warm, so why did it take so long for someone to count to four...when I finally got to eat the chicken it was the worst kfc that I have ever had .it was warm & bland in taste, none of the famous flavours that you expect with kfc. Extremely disappointed on this visit, as its usually good to very good..

Waited an hour and half for a 20 minute delivery. Chips was cold and soggy like they been sat there for ages, chicken was cold and skin wasn’t the slightest bit crispy. One of the worst KFC I have had in quite a while. Couldn’t even eat the food!

I order regularly, very disappointed the burger bun only had the bottom not the top! Made messy eating! Especially as I enjoy the gravy! Couldnt on this occasion! Lettuce and mayo was all over the box, had to rebuild an open burger!

Paid for a dip which was missed on order. asked for spoon for beans didnt get one.

Really disappointed, not only was my order delivered completely wrong, I’ve been calling them for 15 minutes and no one answers the phone.

Driver drove the longest route possible - food was stone cold when it arrived !

It was delivered on time as the time kept moving. I waited 1 1/2 hours for this…I could’ve driven to another town and back to get it…should not take this long…

For nearly £30 it was an absolute joke, I thought someone was playing a joke on us if this is now the standard KFC are producing, it’s definitely my last never have I been ripped off like this rather have a McDonalds and I loathe McDonalds.

The food was all chucked in the bucket, chips greasy. A wicked variety bucket just full of drum sticks. Not happy at all !!!

Wow this place is so busy. It is just out of the town centre and among many other takeaways none of which had a queue at all. The queue here was very long. The staff were all working very hard and got to us as quick as they could. Glad it was not raining as no shelter. The food was as good as it always is and piping hot. No good if you can't wait but for those of us who do not mind waiting a little longer it is well worth it. Usually able to park outside. If you just can't wait you can pre order using the online app or use one of the delivery services. One of our favourite takeaways. Called in again and as good as ever an added bonus was no queues this time. Reopened today after a refurbishment. Still as busy as ever but yhe hardworking staff soon had our order processed and ready. Orders can now be placed using their inshore ordering system. All reasonably priced and well cooked and very tasty.

Our delivery man was early, polite and provided a great service.

Received my order,bag was ripped with a big hole in it,no lid on the chicken,drink and coleslaw was missing,put in a claim,3 days later was asked to provide photo evidence of my issues,not sure how I can provide proof of items that are missing and the packaging had been collected by bin collection.not the type of person to leave packaging lying around for days after I’ve eaten it,will not be using just eat again,terrible service

I swore that I'd never use KFC ever again especially newton abbot and for a we haven't had KFC true to my word..3 weeks ago I had a day off work in a month so I wanted a treat we decided to give KFC newton abbot one more try ..well I was greeted at reception by a gent I think was called George well this gent could not have been anymore help his manners were impeccable bright and bubbly he made my visit really enjoyable to keep upbeat and smiley I'm sure can be testing working there with customers in a rush and orders coming at you plus now delivery's so when my turn I asked for a bargain bucket with a selection of wings and breasts only ..this was a made up meal not on the board. George put it all together with the lady chef 👩‍🍳 without any problems no huffing or panting we all got what we wanted no squabbling every one happy..boy that lady new how to cook chicken absolutely perfect..the service I received was the best I've ever had the best !!and I've been to some places..my experience may have just been luck but I had to phone up the manager and thank her and her staff..it may of only been a £20 bucket meal but to me it was all about my one day off work and that lad George cheering me up he never knew how tough my lady few weeks had Been ..thank you KFC please please let the guys know about this review shaun owner of the mod barbers Exeter

We ordered online as we’ve done before, but when we unpacked the bag, our box of 4 cookies were missing, normally a substitute is put in if no cookies available but there was no substitute yet we have still been charged

estimate time kept going up and the food must been cooked and left on the side and when it got delivered it was warm and chips were cold

Driver rude couldn't be bothered to look for the property rang saying he couldn't find it was parked outside felt like he didn't want to get out of the vehicle I'm on sticks so eventually he came back very poor attitude

The order was missing numerous items as part of a bucket meal. No hot wings, no popcorn chicken, no free item for spending £20. Furthermore; the original chicken was awful. Chips were simply thrown into a bag and mushed as a result. The sides and the zinger tower were the only good parts. Will I return? If I’m desperate for some chicken, maybe. I’d suggest going in person to check the order.

Nice food, the only issue is they somehow managed to mess up our order today by giving us the wrong burger and forgot to includ everything we ordered. Make sure you check your order before you leave, we drove to Paignton to eat it so too far to drive back just to correct their mistakes

Update July 2024: supplied me the wrong order. The drink was contaminated with other drink. Everything was cold at point of sale. More interested in the endless line of deliveraroo drivers. Food looked nothing like the photos. No care or quality anymore. AVOID. Sadly it's never been a good kfc but it's certainly become worse over the years. Look at the floors...dirty. touch the counters...sticky. And the staff is a mix of friendly and positive and rude and aggressive young women. An employee was quite rude to use recently and clearly wasn't enjoying their work. It's always cramped and the food chris be hit an miss. It's not good enough for the price.

The driver took ages and went round the long way. My bread on my bbq burger box meal was extremely stale. It came freezing cold properly because it’s so late. I’m really unhappy and won’t be ordering again!

Had barely any products to fulfil actual orders. What kfc runs out of chicken? Wouldn't add CHEAPER items to compensate. Very bad management. Feel sorry for the staff to be honest. Time these franchises were shut if they can't be run properly. Can't comment on the food. They didn't have any

I am only giving a 3 star for quality as the chicken was a little over cooked and of the 4 pieces of chicken, 3 were very small drumsticks. I have had better!

Since moving to Devon I've realized a lot of food here is watered down. The Indians lack taste. The Chinese places use flavoured water in place of thick sauce. But this KFC branch is just disgusting. Chicken not dripping but pouring with Grease. But parter has been sick off one of their burgers recently. Just avoid. Not worth the risk.

Food was nice, still hot. But delivery took ages, took about 40 minutes for a driver to accept, and then another 30 on top of that for the food to be made, and delivered

the kfc branch in newton abbot has gone down hill food was almost cold and I ordered 3 wraps and they wrapped all 3 into one little rapper and the wrap was dry I had to peel the wraps apart because they were stuck together after being sat there for awhile

Last time I ordered I received the most anorexic pieces of chicken I've ever seen. This time? Absolutely dripping in grease. Absolutely disappointing and simply disgusting.
