KFC Walkden - Ellesmere Centre in Salford

The food at KFC can always be improved for the price if it, wherever you go. However, the food at the Walkden branch used to be quite poor, yet has improved over recent years. The staff currently on hand are very polite, which always has a positive effect on the customer.

Update: i had called Kentucky for a refund and was told because I ordered through Uber Eats I had to take it up with Uber Eats for a refund. Unbelievable ..Had forgotten to post the outcome. On 23/09/2024 @ 4:11 I ordered the Colonel’s Choice and 4 coleslaws to be delivered. When food arrived my daughter and I sat on the sofa and commenced to eating our food. Fries came with the order. She pulled a fry out of the little bags they come in and a blonde , long piece of hair was stuck to the fry. I was disgusted and so grossed out. I will not be ordering from Kentucky anymore. Establishments should be required to wear hair nets while dealing with food for hygiene purposes. You were my favorite go to, no more

Ordered a delivery.. 4 items missing, all cold. No one answering the phone. Not the 1st time this has happened.. walkden KFC is very very poor. Spent £36.. all the sides are missing.. not worth £10

I park here early morning for 6 minutes, found KFC not opening for business then leave the carpark. After 1 week, I received PCN asking for £100 parking charge! Absolutely daytime robbery and I will not come anymore!

Dirty thieving shameful sneaky parking company absolute fraud I’ve never felt so robbed in my life no clear indication that u can’t park infront of the kfc who thinks of looking for a parking sign on a retail park don’t get caught by park eye the robbing scum was there for 9 minutes in and out never thought nothing of it get slapped with a £100 fine I didn’t have the money to pay this just before Christmas but left with no choice disgusting disgrace to society hope park eye are proud of them selves

£100 ticket for being in the car park for 5 minutes 26/11 update - KFC did absolutely nothing to help me get the ticket cancelled. I appealed through POPLA and was eventually successful

I usually order delivery from this location but I don't think I will be ordering again anytime soon. I ordered for delivery through the KFC app the 6 piece Wicked Variety Bucket, and only got the 6 pieces and the 4 mini fillets delivered. None of the 8 hot wings, or the 4 fries packets. Just a bucket, practically half of what I ordered and paid for. Very dissapointing, truly ruined my evening. Worst thing was, I couldn't find any way to contact customer support or my driver so that went nowhere.

Enjoyed the food but be aware that KFC car park is managed by video camera, so don't overstay your welcome!

I went for kfc for our tea order a 8 piece boneless box 4 chicken bone pieces popcorn chicken corn on the cob I got home no 8 pieces of chicken 4 in the carton no corn on the cob only 2 fries I drove all the way back said was told by the worker cant do anything because I hadn't took the order back with me how am I suppose to know that service disgusting all so ive notice the hygiene of the people who work there never wash there hands when serving food wont be going again

Clean and quiet kfc, food always received quickly and friendly, helpful staff

Absolutely shocking went through the drive. Sat there for 10 minutes until somebody told us to go around the front window to order. When we got to the window the kitchen staff were messing about then someone finally took our order. We then headed home to duscover half our order was missing definitely not going back

Parked here before opening to eat breakfast and look at maps before work and got hit by a £100 Parking fine!! Daylight robbery. I feel robbed. Parked for 9 minutes, before work to look at maps and my journey ahead and got a £100 fine. 9 minutes! didn't even get out of the car. Avoid these thieves! complete disgrace to society.

Member of staff who served me and my friend through Drive thru was extremely polite and friendly, and the food was very fresh, service was extremely fast. Absolutely no complaints at all, perfect service all round.

I ordered online last night and it's gave me food poisoning. I won't be eating a KFC again, it's really put me off.

Parked up KFC shut. Went to McDonald’s. Ended up with parking eye charge £100 reduced to £60 if paid early. KFC did not lose any revenue due to me parking. I could understand the issue if I did. I use to visit KFC for a family treat. However KFC will never get another penny from me. Not ever. Must be making thousands with this particular scam.

Stood a counter for 10 mins and was ignored by a staff member right in front of me, finally another member of staff asked how i was paying , when i answered card iwas told cash only at the cou terminal and I would have to use a machine to order, I use the counter because I struggle to use the machine with my sight issues and they're rely give a receipt out which I need. There was nowaque of over 20 people at the machines so I left totakemymoney elsewhere

Ordered online for home delivery and items missing, not for the 1st time 😡

On my first visit, I'm used to Preston, which is absolutely terrible. I was curious if it was KFC or the Preston branch. It turns out it is the Preston branch, which is not great.

The food is good, obviously. It is a KFC. But the place is always dirty and oily, and there are no napkins, straws, and soap in the bathroom. Floor is unsafe! So oily, it is just a matter of time for someone to break their back. Place it is not usually busy, so I do not understand why staff simply don't clean the tables for the next customers. Staff often swear and have inappropriate conversations behind the counter, and omg, if you disturb them, ... ghetto behaviour you will get.

Not been in a few years and thought i would give it a go as i and the wife fancied it, oh how i wish i hadnt. Felt like i was being rushed through drive through when i was only car there, then missed a fair bit of my order out. Snack box doesnt even come in a box its a tiny pack of popcorn chicken (aprox 4 pieces) and a small fries. Money well spent to renind myself why i stopped going.

Food and service can be hit and miss. Had over fried chicken and none to friendly service. Don't go too often now, as its a little off putting when a fast food outlet needs bouncers on the door. It's also regularly full of "Deliveroo", "Just Eat", "Uber Eats" and "I deliver your takeaway 5 minutes before you ordered it" drivers/riders trying to get to the counter. Be careful with the parking too. Its free. As long as you are between the lines, facing the right way, for a very small amount of time... they'll send you a fine for anything, assuming you can get a space in between all the deliverydrivers. My advice is dont park in their car park, park across the way on the shopping centre car park and walk over. It'll take less than a minute.

It is the worse service ever seen! And it is the 2nd time, the same staff, that man gave me the wrong order, and put very bad manner when I go back and ask for my correct food. Today I ordered 20 hot wing bucket for 7.99 But when we sit back in the car, and start to eat, I notice it looks like not enough. Then I take each out and count, there were only 17 pieces in total. We went back straight away, and ask them to fix up the correct amount, but that man laughed at us, and kept on saying is it 19pcs, is it only 1 missing? I said no, it's 17pcs, and 3 missing, you could count, but he just kept on repeating 19pcs? and not trust me. He was very rude to me and my 7 year old daughter. I asked his name so I can make a complaint, but he says no, he won't tell. Until the manager came out and pass me 3 hot wings, still no one appologize to me! I paid for 20 hot wings, why should I just got only 17 wings plus the WORST service?!! Is that the way KFC treat their customers?！！ Very disappointing on KFC !

Terrible food quality- chicken pices too dry not fresh-, when I tried to get a replacement, the store manager intervened saying I can only replace one piece, where is the logic in that! So I requested a refund. The manager rather than apologise,she was very rude. No wonder this KFC branch is empty most of times.

Charged £100 for parking in KFC prior to 10:00am. Sort it out. As others have said, wont be spending another dime in KFC.

Costumer services non-existent!Happened the second time( as far as I am aware) that I had make the payment for the order and they are saying that it has not been through so I payed again, once checking my account the payment been done twice, went in to speak with the "manager" guess what was the same person that took my payment, explain to her once again what had just happened showed her the bank statement and she said you've got to wait until Tuesday (the last incident happened on Sunday)as it's Bank Holiday and they want refund them .Sounds so dumb , when a payment is cancelled or has not been through it's showing straight away on your statement. Went back Thursday as I haven't received the money and it was somebody else I had to deal with she was makeing same "rude" comments on the back .Clearly the "area manager" and the lady don't know what they are doing. Nobody apologies!

So ordered food for driver to just dump on doorstep without even knocking or ringing bell(I have doorbell footage) for it to be ravaged by neighbours cats,tried phoning several times left messages several times still not heard back never order here again

Decent kfc branch, there's a drive through, food is good, service is friendly, it's less busy than McDonald's opposite. The drive through is open late, even when the restaurant itself is closed which is handy. Recommended.

This place is absolutely disgusting. Tables dirty, bins full, floor very oily. Staff rude, watching customers eating and making rude comments, swearing etc. New management it is a must

Service is terrible, had to wait half hour for a cup of tea that they forgot then another ten mins for a simple coke out of the machine.

The best place to buy KFC is the perfect taste we travel just to get that,it's a shame tho the only thing wrong they don't give dips along with it when you buy boneless chicken share bucket any size ,they always forget and no napkins otherwise 10 out of 10

The people that work in this place are useless, they never get your order right. Don't bother coming or ordering from here, you would be wasting your money. And when you call to complain, they don't even answer the phone .

Was sat in the KFC Walkden car park for 11 minutes at 9:00am one morning to eat a meal from the adjacent McDonald’s. Two weeks later I have a £100 fine????? If they don’t want people parking there before opening hours why not just pay for a bollard or a barrier to be installed to ensure no one does? Instead they’ve opted to install parkingeye cameras which I’m sure cost A LOT more than a barrier but hey ho they wouldn’t be able to profit off innocent people making an honest mistake. Greedy, predatory behaviour. I’m never eating a kfc ever again.

Paid for food I never received. The restaurant didn't want to know. Staff were abusive and unhelpful. Don't use this KFC unless you want to be robbed and degraded.

Absolutely rubbish Customer Service, no attempts to help whatsoever. This was to do with the app not working at the time, was surprised that they couldn't track my loyalty points through their system. Very straightforward, if it's not working there then it won't work here, with intimidating eye contact! (Think it was the Shift Manager) Never going to that branch again!!

I love my KFC. Spike the price are up. The food is going down hill. ( Soggy, Greasy, undercooked, This store need to have higher standerd. Ordering 10 Pieace bucket, expecting there would be mixture of chicken, but what I got was out of order, 8 Drums 🍗 and 2 other. This has happen twice. Won't be coming back as staff missurable. This store uses the parking company Parking Eye. If you even enter the carpark on a weekend before 10am, expect a £100 parking fine (even if it's for literally one minute). The store washes their hands of any responsibility and force you to appeal to Parking Eye directly. These parking fees are ridiculous and any company that supports such predatory practises is not worthy of your custom. If you get such a parking ticket please appeal within 28 days. What Parking Eye is doing is immoral and they rely on people's ignorance.

Parked on there to assist a customer who’s keys was locked in their van, 8 days later I get a parking fine in the post for being there for 18mins, be warned that they are using parking eye and it’s no wonder no one goes there, sub standard food and ridiculous parking restrictions. Avoid

Pink chicken in oil soaked rubbery rancid crust. Couldn't finish it. Also charged me 60 for parking for less than 5 mins the next day at 7.30 in the morning when eating a beautiful McDonald's breakfast (which is next door and doesn't have a private car park that's managed by Parking Eye with 0 parking time before 11 AM)

This company have a contract with ParkingEye, a criminal organisation that fleece people who park on their premises - even when they're a customer! Absolutely will never eat at KFC ever! Until they end their contract with ParkingEye.

I made a mistake of stopping for a couple of minutes on the kfc walkden car park early one morning during no parking allowed times. However the signage there doesn't alert very clearly about this at all. This is all just a way of ripping people off and getting extra income in because your food is substandard. Such an underhand evil set up just like your company. You should all be ashamed of yourselves ripping people off in this way.

Check your order before leaving, twice now I get home and part of the order is missing. Please do better

When we arrived there were 4 staff just standing about chatting yet the floor and the tables were dirty. Food was just ok a large fries consisted of about 15 warm chips the chicken was nice.

Ordered online and this is the second time of ordering food from here with missing items. My partner wanted the nugget meal and turned up with no nuggets and my teriyaki burger was stone cold! Highly disappointed and I will definitely not be ordering from here again!

Ordered here for delivery while visiting my parents, we spent £40 and about £10 of the order was missing. Unfortunately I was unable to contact someone on the phone to fix the order in time for our lunch (phone went to answer message which stated i'd get a call in a day or two). Apparently my parents have received many incomplete orders from this branch. I'm not sure what system they use to make sure orders are complete before being delivered but it's clearly not working. Wish me luck getting a refund for the missing items.

Food was delivered cold and drink was missing, the driver blamed KFC, when called to ask where it was KFC blamed the driver, then said if I wanted a refund I would have to go to the store, what exactly was the point of getting it delivered. The customer service was as good as the food, fit for the bin.

Went to Kfc last night Ordered 2X six pieces family feast. The staff that took my order was very poor communicator. Chicken was not very warm and worst of all the drumsticks were smelly. At least chips were good thank god. 👏👏 Very disappointed. Money wasted.

Couldn't ask for anything more from a kfc, good food, quick service, air con on a sunny day.

Food has arrived quickly through Just Eat. We ordered 2 fillet box meals. The buns on the fillet burgers were hard and the hotwings tasted dry, like there they had been cooked earlier on the day. Very poor meal.

The drive through is quick and easy alternatively you can sit at a table & eat inside. There maybe a small queue but you get served pretty quickly.

The KFC chicken coating wasn't crispy and was missing on some. The chips were overcooked. Definitely below KFC normal standard. We go to another branch next time.

Went Sunday 20th May, spent £40.90. I ordered chicken boneless banquet only received 2 small pieces of chicken strips. Normally 3 strips. Ordered large portions, arrived very small. Would not recommend going KFC again very poor quality. Advise to go elsewhere
