I ordered a shawarma wrap today from here. The size of a medium wrap is the size of a small wrap. Don’t bother or waste your money here because they will scam you with the size. In addition, the chicken shawarma was burnt and it did not taste good at all, made me feel sick. So if you value your health and your money do NOT buy from here. The person that was working here as well was very rude and couldn’t serve properly. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I dined here with friends yesterday, and now we’re all regretting it deeply. The fries were a sad sight—dark and green, as if they’d given up on life. The wrap was so poorly folded that half of its contents spilled onto the tray, which looked like it hadn't seen soap in decades. It was coated in layers of black grime, a perfect metaphor for our experience. The soda cans were equally horrifying, caked in dirt around the tops where you’re meant to drink. At first, I thought it was just mine, but it turned out my friends’ trays and drinks were just as disgusting. We also faced an absurd level of incompetence, with our orders wrong multiple times. Each mistake felt like a cruel joke, compounding our misery. This was not just a meal; it was an exercise in endurance. I’ve experienced heartbreak, loss, and sadness, but this meal somehow managed to encapsulate all of those feelings in one incredibly depressing dining experience. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

This was, without exaggeration, the single worst dining experience of my life. If Dante’s Inferno had a tenth circle, this place would be it, reserved exclusively for anyone unfortunate enough to order from here. The shawarma itself? Imagine if someone took an old shoe, microwaved it, then slathered it in something resembling glue, and that would be generous. The pita was so stale it could have doubled as a roof tile, cracking with each bite, and the meat was an unidentifiable, gristly mess that had the texture of sandpaper dipped in grease. I’m honestly not sure it was chicken at all—more likely a science experiment gone wrong, or a deep-fried relic from some long-abandoned freezer. And that "garlic sauce"—if you can even call it that. It smelled like it had been fermenting in an old sock drawer, tasted like sour mayonnaise mixed with an expired bottle of glue, and had the consistency of melted plastic. One whiff of that toxic sludge, and I nearly bolted for the door. To top it all off, the service was a tragic comedy. I waited an eternity for food that seemed to have been reheated several times, left to cool, then reheated again just for spite. The staff? Absolutely clueless and rude, giving off the distinct impression they’d rather be anywhere else, and honestly, so would I. After choking down a few bites, I left with my stomach churning and my spirit broken. If you value your taste buds, your money, or even just your basic human dignity, run in the opposite direction of this establishment. This wasn’t just bad food—it was a traumatic event. I wouldn’t even feed this clump of atoms to a rat—no creature, great or small, should be subjected to the misery of this so-called shawarma. Honestly, even rats deserve better. This food is so vile, so utterly devoid of any redeeming quality, that I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy, let alone a poor, unsuspecting rodent. I'm genuinely baffled that this place is still up and running. It’s less of a restaurant and more of a no-safe zone, like Chernobyl but with pita bread. I half-expected to see hazmat teams standing by when I walked in. The fact that they’re allowed to serve anything to the public is mind-boggling and, frankly, terrifying. This establishment should be marked off with caution tape and warning signs for miles, alerting anyone with functioning taste buds and self-respect to stay far, far away. If there’s any justice in the world, this place will be shut down before it causes more culinary trauma. After eating here, I was hit with the worst stomachache of my life. Within an hour, I felt as if my stomach had turned into a washing machine set on “nightmare cycle.” I was doubled over in pain, sweating, and seriously questioning every life decision that led me to that first bite. The nausea was relentless, and let’s just say I became well-acquainted with my bathroom for the next 24 hours. This wasn’t just food poisoning; it was like my stomach was staging a full-on rebellion against this abomination of a meal. I’m convinced this place should come with a health warning. Avoid it at all costs if you value your health.

Insanely excellent value food. Preparation time varies depending on how busy it is of course but cannot recommend this place enough for a quick bite.

Most unorganised shop there is. Called and ordered naans a day in advance then even called 30 mins before picking them up and they didn’t have anything ready and just said that no one told the baker. Told me to come back in 30 mins and it still wasn’t ready and the pretty much just started making them. Would of just left if it wasn’t for Eid but these lot are the worst.

Amazing fresh naan at cheap prices. I opted for both the garlic and cheese nanns and they didn’t disappoint. Both paired perfectly with the home made tomato chilli sauce that was provided. Falafel is also freshly made here and is crispy and herbaceous.

Bought Pizza 🍕 2 large that ended in the bin when approached management nobody was interested to hear about it uncooked from inside and burned on the outside told them it's not acceptable did not want to hear about replacement either.

An absolute delight to find this place.. the workers there are so friendly and eager to please with requests. I tried the chicken and lamb shawarma. They were divine with a hint of barbecue flavour in iraqi bread (sammoon) which is a great touch. They did offer to serve it in khubuz (Iraqi naan bread) as well. I did also try the kebab. I must say that it wasn't up to standard especially when it came to the spice used. The prices were reasonable and not exorbitant. The whole place was cosy but needed a little bit of a spruce up. I personally would definitely visit again. It's a great place for a quick bite eating delicious Iraqi food.

Rude arrogant staff here. Waited to served. Was told to wait as they are busy yet they took 2 phone orders infront of me and one of their friends walked in way after me and they took a large order from him after muttering in his language for a few seconds. If you are arab you will be served faster and in a more friendlier manner.

Very small menu but what they do is excellent. I had the lamb kofta, bread and salad which was fresh and delicious. The chips were beautiful and my son enjoyed his chicken shawarma. Fast service and superb value for money.

The kebab was very delicious. But they should pay more attention to the bread in terms of quality, and they should pay attention to cleanliness inside the shop. Unfortunately, the chairs and tables are not clean and not suitable for sitting or eating on.

OMG. That was amazing. Was visiting from Milton Keynes. The food was fresh and generous. Great hospitable service. I am a big eater and the medium chicken shawarma had me stuffed. Great for the family. Oh and the chunky chips were fillers too! Do recommend they renew the furniture though

I have not visited the establishment but I have ordered from here. Their kebabs are always on point. The grilled tomato and onions are amazing. Very authentic food. I would recommend calling them beforehand to place an order as they are quite busy.

We ordered food from Khomali last night and whoever ate from the food has a bad stomach this morning. Their food is not fresh and it's the 2nd time this happens. we ordered chips and chicken shawarma, a pizza and falafel. Strongly advise to sleep hungry rather than eat from them again. not to say the food came 1 hour late

Tasty good value food and great service. Plenty of staff to keep waiting times down as this is a popular place. There's normally a free seat to eat in at one of the 3 tables.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star to be honest. When I visited the person at the till (possibly a manager, grey hair and moustache) was visibly angry with a previous customer, mouthing him off and screaming, which was honestly quite unprofessional and off putting. I ordered a medium lamb shawarma and chips which I was looking forward to. I simply requested that if possible, the salad and meat is kept separate as I wanted to take it home to eat but the manager went ballistic, screaming his head off. Clearly, the pathetic man isn't right for the role and needs to go on intense customer training. The meal itself was inedible, meat was old, disgusting and not seasoned and the chips were like dense little sticks. You're better off visiting the bakery next door where the staff is polite and food is cooked with the respect it deserves.

I made a big order of kebab and tanoor chicken... went to collect there was a slight delay due to external circumstances but they were very friendly and hospitable that the slight delay wasnt a problem.... food is delicious specially shawrma and the inhouse bread (khobz tanoor). They do iraqi fast food to its best i do recommend this restaurant specially for takeaway and delivery... as seating restaurant its very basic and i hope they improve it... Also for vegetarians and vegans the falafel is awesome...
