King of Taste in Barnet

Ordered at 8.05pm order came at 9.50pm. cold no pitta bread, drinks were wrong got wings we didn't order and food was stone cold also tried to ring them and they kept hanging up. Rude didn't care about this an ill be reporting it want a refund. Threw in bin cause it tasted cold and awful. Don't order or get from here.

food was not great ordered meal deal 1 , 1 pizza was not what I ordered and they had a weird after taste, garlic bread was a bit burnt and chewy and one bit had a random slice or pepperoni on it, Doner meat and chips were basic, chips were soggy , the Doner meat was quite cheap but was edible at least , although it came with Garlic sauce which I didn't ask for but thankfully I like garlic sauce . Overall Rating 5/10.

Got the 12 wings and chips wings was hard and chewy The chocolate cake has salad cream inside called up they say it's cream but it's salad cream Order a cookie and cream haagen dazs got given pralines what I'm allergic too Asked if I can get a refund on the meal said no will NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN my advice don't order from this shop

“Kings of no taste” Awful food and awful service , the guy who answered the phone was so rude . Very unprofessional, if he wasn’t cooking my food I would’ve given him an ear full! Wouldn’t feed the chicken kebab to my dog.

I ordered for a small chicken wings portion and one chips , it took an hour and half to get my food. the distance between shop and my location is 0.7 mile.as I called the shop several times , unfortunately he didn't respond me a proper answer.and after 90 minutes our food was completely cold,and we actually lost our appetite to eat it as well. I can understand sometimes it can be wrong happened, but YOU as SHOP OWNER have to respond very friendly to your costumer and as apologies you could refund my money, or give a voucher or something free of charge. for such poor attitude you never can be a shop manager for a successful busines. I strongly recommend to people, that never waist your time , money and your appetite and also for such unorganised and impolite saff . When I could, I would give you a ZERO rate instead one star.

The doner kebab is second to none , also very friendly helpful staff, strive to serve your food to your exact requirements

Kebabs. All our kebabs are serviced with pitta bread and salad..!! Well mine was served in a tin foil tray with lots of grease and not a sign of a pitta. Small salad in a plastic container even though I asked for it on top of the kebab bud then again it was better that I got it separately. Worst kebab ever

Loved the chicken pizza, the dip for the fries was tasty, and loved to have little chat while waiting. Must try when in the area or for take away/delivery

OMG rotten salad, gone off lamb. also ordered extra portion of chips (he said I put it in the food) are food came with chips x2 .Where's the extra portion? The best part was Donna meat. PLEASE AVOID. FOOD POISON RISK

Wings were cold. Fries were not fresh. Bossman wasn’t looking very enthusiastic on a Saturday night. Not very welcoming.

First time getting food from here never will again. I ordered 6 wings and chips for £5.50 and absolutely regretted it. Would have had a better and bigger meal at McDonald’s for 5.50, its not the price if the food was honestly 5.50 WORTH then it could be worth it.. minimal fries and 6 small dry wings… the box it comes in tells you everything really. They are also very stingy with their sauce.. you cannot put it yourself they do it for you? Just to spend your money somewhere else 50p more for £6 you can get 2 7inch pizzas.. what an absolutely disappointing experience i had.

I came to order kebab there was hair inside my kebab they told me thats my hair . Really disrespectful staff and also he doesnt pay his workers thats what the waitress told me when i said who tskes the tips. Poor service

This is the worst the most dirty unhyigenic place to eat went in to buy chips and chicken after receiving the food i tryed to show and explain i wasent happy cold food and very unfresh and did not look good they started shouting and i had to leave food and leave the shop would not give money back just wanted to shout and scream with no apollagies nothing really awfull experience never going back and i will report to heslth and saftey asap

Kings of NO taste. First time getting food from here and what a mistake it was. I ordered a mixed kebab and when it came, it looked like road kill. Dry meat, couldn’t tell what meat was what. Salad consisted of white and red cabbage with a token half a slice of cucumber and tomato. Chilli sauce was one of the blandest I’ve ever had. This place looks like a jack of all trades but master of none. I paid £14.00 but would happily pay double for quality, which I’ve had from 9 out 10 other places. When you find the takeaway of your liking, stick with it. Barnet Star …I’ll be back next time for proper cooked shish, Adana, donor and chicken.

I popped in here with my daughter to get a small bite to eat. She got a kids meal, 4 nuggets and chips with a 'fruit shoot' (says on the menu fruit shoot but it was a copy, probably from aldi) and I just wanted some cheesy chips and onion rings. I appreciate that it is a small order, but the quality of the food and service should be the same, no matter how much you spend. The onion rings were pretty much just batter, the chips were overly greasy, and between both of our meals, it hardly made what I expect a small portion of chips to be. Before that - I was asked again what my order was after already waiting nearly 10 minutes. Won't be coming back!

Used king of taste on a number of occasions meat in wrap was cold chips were disgusting and the guy serving me got my order totally wrong. It is local but I will not be going again

The food and service here are all great. I enjoyed my Lamb Doner Kebab and chips. Thank you to the staff for everything. I look forward to returning soon. Keep up the excellent work.

UPDATE REVIEW | Went again and I must say it is incredible! Firstly its 4.99 for 6 wings and chips, if anyone can defeat this inconsistent inflation its these guys! Also chips were nice and chubby and the chicken was beautifully coated in a delicious salty tasty breadcrumb (if you hate salty chicken cry in a corner and sit down) the meal was amazing and I'm amazed its only 4.99! Plus there has been updated seating so there is more tables and comfy chairs so it is easier to eat in.

I collected a 14 inche thin base donner kebab pizza from King of Taste. It Was very tasty on both occasions. Great customer service and open till late.

Bizarre kebab shop. The proprietor didn't know how to make a kebab (pitta bread containing meat and salad). I was served all 3 separately, with chips. Yet he was adamant that is a kebab - very strange

Cold, stale and dry chicken. not just king of taste, just about every takeaway in north London has gone this way,Favorite in Enfield is an exception. I get that gas prices are going up, then so should the standard of culinary skill if a company wants to keep people walking through their doors. I'm all for supporting small business but they have to make an effort.we're paying high prices for low quality.

Foods ok only reason I came was for the deals in window 2rd time this week first 2 times got same time as today and got deals then today changed price to 3 times what it should've been, said it only till 4pm which is a lie! Robbers

This place stayed open during heatwave to feed all of barnet when they could have closed. Also they have great food and great customer service. Respect

So my family decided they wanted burgers and chicken wings for dinner and instead of going to the same place we always go to we tried king of taste for the first time. Drove down there and ordered 8 chicken wings (grilled) salad and fries. Quarter pounder and half pounder both with fries.staff /owner was really helpful and friendly Waited 10 - 12 minutes for it to be freshly cooked and took it home. Everyone really enjoyed the smokey grille flavour, no greasy bottom to the packaging and everything went down a treat. Will definatley order again 5*

My brother ordered from here last week and has had a stomach bug since! Will not be ordering from here again and tell anyone wanting to be aware of being bed bound and pretty much living in the toilet for over a week!

Great place, super friendly staff and tasty food.

Mostly good. However, product is inconsistent. Sometimes salad sauces etc. are served separately sometimes not. Portion sizes also vary massively! If they could get this stuff sorted out it would be great but atm you're never quote sure what you're going to get! Will keep ordering from here though. Bar the odd disappointment it's generally a good kebab.

Ordered delivery. Was supposed to be kebab meat with Potter bread and salad. What I received was just kebab meat and chips. The charge for this was £16 for two. I wouldnever have paid that money for meat and chips disgusted. Offer no part refund when I complained. Will not use again or recommend. Uber were brilliant. Very fast covid compliant and polite so Thankyou Uber.

Went in and asked what their best thing is, first thing he said is fried chicken so I got some chicken wings. Genuinely some of the worst chicken wings I've ever had, chewy and greasy coating, and dry chicken inside with pink bits. Ended up throwing away all the chicken. If this was their best then wouldn't bother getting anything else. Gets 2 stars cos the chicken had good spice on it and the chips were excellent. Edit: I went again and the wings were nice, seems like there's a bit of luck involved

Not had a bad experience here. Tried mixed donner wrap, wings, pizza. All delivered hassle free with the occasional freebie thrown in.

Ordered through ubereats pick up on 24/03 and i must say disappointed with the chips and the fried chicken. The chips had a stale oil smell and undercooked. The fried chicken had doughy texture in the places as it felt undercooked as well. Shame that New Barnet is yet to provide a good Halal takeaway...

Ordered food from here recently and I must say, i've had many kebabs in my day, but this was rank! Kebab smelt off and was luke warm, I even had bits of old burnt greasy lamb in my wrap also. Chicken was pink inside and pizza was bland. Should of stuck to my usual takeaway. I appreciate everyone needs to make a living, and the restaurant trade is hard, but why do people slack on quality especially with food? No love or attention to the food they are selling to the public. A shame really, especially as this was the second and now last time I will buy food from there. P.s I also work in the food industry and am very disappointed, now I'm feeling a little sick.

Tried them for the first time today, they're a new place just opened, and I'm disappointed. We ordered the platter £35 King of Taste Special which comes with all the kebabs. The wings were black burnt on the outside and the middle of the wings were bloody, couldnt eat it as i didnt want to get food poisoning. The lamb & chicken doner wasnt bad but a bit tasteless. The rest was very average. Not a good start for this place! It looks like they need someone who knows how to cook or season their kebabs. oh Dear!

King of taste are great with there customer service and care. It’s obvious that they deal with a lot of deliveries and may prioritise that over customers in the shop. But they make up for any waiting period by apologising and providing great service and good food.

My wrap was half empy, with not much meat in it. It was badly rolled and it did not taste of much. For £6 that is pretty bad value, If I can do better at home, why should I pay? I can`t comment on the other products.
