We ordered the most gorgeous birthday cake from Konditor for one of our Managers birthday's. It was amazing and everyone asked where I got it from. So simple to order too. A HUGE thank you. We will definately order again. Huge thank you to the Chef and all the staff.

We ordered two cakes for a double 50th birthday, lemon and chocolate curly whirly. The lemon was lovely however, the chocolate was simply THE BEST cake I've ever tasted. I will definitely order one for my birthday and visit for a cake and a slice soon

It must have been almost a year since my last visit to this small cafe, and this time I had brought my partner. The gorgeous female server was not there anymore. Instead there were two equally charming young men who could have been 'resting actors'. Other than that, nothing much had changed: they still offer any coffee plus any cake for GBP5.95, good value in central London. The selection of cakes was possibly a bit smaller than before. We shared lemon chiffon and tropical, with both of us preferring the latter. The coffee, again, was excellent; still worth a coffee break.

Visited K&C in Grays Inn Road this lunchtime (Thursday 24th February 2022) on the spur of the moment while I was in the area for a slice of lemon cake to take away. The price was £4.75 (!) The service was excellent servce BUT there was absolutely no taste of lemon in the cake and the texture was almost dry. NOT GOOD AT ALL FROM A CAKE COMPANY LIKE K&C. BIG MISTAKE. I bake at home and can do better than that. I won't be visiting again. AVOID!

I stepped into this coffee shop for a quick break. It's a tiny place with just a few tables inside, and two or three more on the pavement. The selection of cakes was limited but looked delicious! They offer a coffee and cake deal for just under GBP6 for any cake and coffee. I selected a cappuccino and a chocolate noisette slice. The cake was yummy but just a little bit too dense and heavy. Since this is company was started by a German Konditor (patissier) I had expected a somewhat lighter touch, but the taste was still great. The coffee was excellent, and was served with flair at my little outdoor table by their wonderful assistant Shanice who was smiling, kind, funny and knew all about cakes! I wouldn't hesitate to visit again next time I'm in the area.

Not much to say as I just used this store to order and collect. The cake was wonderful and I'm familiar with their cakes from their store at the Gherkin many, many, many years ago when they even used to do hot lunches there. The Grays Inn store was quiet, but to be fair, a lot of office workers are still working from home and so the store lacks the "buzz" it had when I used to walk past it. The staff are very polite and helpful. Please be careful if you are collecting - as now it rains everyday, the paper bags can give away, so take a large plastic bag if you are going there to collect!

Trust me I love cake. Not got a sweet tooth normally but cant resist it. So my wife and i always buy each other a cake for our birthday for breakfast in bed. This year we went for something different so we cycled to this branch for coffee and cake to start her birthday. A hot day but tables and chairs outside in the shade, and does have air con inside if you prefer. We had slices of three different cakes. All three were just so good but the red velvet was just incredible. Really good coffee too. Cant recommend this place enough.

Despite ordering a personalised birthday cake way in advance and pre-agreeing a delivery time to a London address (no longer than 20 mins away even by foot) they failed to deliver the cake. Whilst this was disappointing in itself, what was more frustrating was that they failed to let us know of any delay. We chased a number of times over the phone and were falsely promised that delivery would be guaranteed, as the time was pushed back further and further until it was too late to receive. When we decided to cancel the order, the girl on the phone made it incredibly difficult. Overall, the total lack of customer service was appalling and whilst (when they arrive) their cakes are nice I shall never be ordering from them again. A great shame.

I was introduced to this lovely bakery when a friend, who works in London, came back with a bag of goodies as said to me I NEED to try them. I need to add this friends makes incredible brownies but here she was offering me heaven on a plate. The sign of a good brownie is the weight. If it’s heavy enough to use to keep a door open then it’s a good brownie. These are good brownies! As well as a cheeky bag of mini brownies, a girl needs sustinence whilst walking around London, I also had a slice of their Whiskey Bomb cake. Delicious. Needless to say I have a line into them with my friend so they come on a 100 mile trip to me each time. Lovely welcome and friendly staff at Greys Inn who love to sing along to the songs playing!

Came here yesterday with a few friends for Wing Wednesday and I can honestly say they were the worst wings any of us had ever had. The meat is average quality, but they put SO MUCH breading on the wings, the amount of crunch is actually painful. That's before we get to the buffalo sauce. Apparently it's 'World Famous', but honestly, the only thing I can think it's famous for is the INSANELY high salt content! You know that tingling feeling you get when you eat something spicy? I thought my tongue was tingling for that reason, but no, it soon became apparent that it was from the amount of salt they put in this 'World Famous' Buffalo Sauce. Then there is the speed at which they serve them. They take forever to bring out the next plate of wings because they clearly know that the longer you're eating, the more full you will get, so the less wings you will eat. The only redeeming features of this trip were the atmosphere and the friendly staff. If not for these, it would be a solid 1* review. Just don't do the Buffalo Wings!
