No good service,wrong food and cold I never order again

wish I could give 0 stars (but that is not possible)worst romanian restaurant ever,ciorba they do in a small portion,very bad smell,no flavour not even cooked properly,the mici is terrible and the chips are just average,staff dont even speak a word of English, ordered multiple times on deliveroo,and they miss out some items ,without even providing a refund,would highly recommend to avoid at all costs La Mama Acasa are much more better and have good service

I asked for a barbecued pork neck and I got one in blood when I asked the chef, he asked me if I knew how to cook! I said I asked for pork not beef!

I ordered the Moldavian tochitura and they gave me polenta with meat without egg and cheese and on the menu it was 9 lira and I paid 15 for polenta and pork meat

they did not take into account the instructions that i mention NO MEAT IN THE BEANS SOUP

Last time when I order the same food used to be more salad and chips,now I can count the number of chips I have and the salad is at the bottom of casserole..I'm disappointed I will never order from here again .

The place is not clean enough. The appearance is not attractive at all. During our presence there, about 1 hour and a half, the tables already used were not cleaned. The tablecloths are paper - which I find practical - but they were obviously stained and unchanged for some time. The ventilation is not good enough, in terms of temperature and smell. Few and slow staff. Our order included: eggplant salad (4 out of 5), pizza carbonara (5 out of 5), belly soup (3 out of 5 - too salty and too much garlic). The price is ok. The waiting time was short, so a plus. It saddens me that although we have a complex and delicious cuisine, some have started a business with traditional food in other countries without putting more effort to attract the attention of all the locals. And for Romanians, it is offensive and disappointing to go to a place that should make them feel at home, but which does not live up to the standards at all.

This is not a restaurant. Or not a restaurant for humans. They should feed their food to dogs, but even they won’t have it. Raw or overcooked? Have your pick. Staff is not that friendly either. Just avoid.

I came to the restaurant to pick up my order, but they said they didn't have my order. I asked this twice, I showed them the order number, but they told me the same thing, that they don't have such an order and that you from Just eat should call their manager and resolve the situation. Please clarify the situation and return my money.

The most horrible experience possible, I went today because I work a lot, I didn't have time to cook and I wanted to take from them, there I was met by a very bored lady with an attitude of saying that you take "what you want" for free ? , and you can imagine the rest, there was another girl there who apologized instead of the lady, but if you see this review, lady, I want to tell you that I refrained only because I am educated and you are older, Ugly, I found another restaurant better and more educated, I DO NOT RECOMMEND 🛑 I know that no action will be taken and that my message does not matter, but it is very disappointing

The most horrible Romanian restaurant. Mamaliga was cold. The food did not taste good at all, lacked spices, hospital food in effect. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not welcoming at all. The young lady there should learn manners, when she came to the table she didn't even say hello, as if I came to the stable and not to the restaurant. Most of the customers who come to eat are equally uneducated, they yell at each other from one table to another and the staff doesn't say anything to them. Ugly restaurant, the tables are covered with paper and where I sat it was full of oil and I think it hasn't been changed in a month. I will never come back in my life 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Cheap owner, worst service ever. Is a rip off, expensive and food is not OK. Those people came from construction industry and jump into hospitality. Also because healthy and hygiene is an option for them 😅

This restaurant is a ripped off. Prices are expensive for the poor quality of food you get. Frozen pizza in the supermarket are better than the pizza served in this restaurant. Meat was tough. Polenta was cold and horrible. Waitress was poor in communication. And don't forget to check your itemised bill for any wrong items that was charged despite the empty restaurant. Made a mistake of trying this restaurant without verifying the alarming negative feedbacks online.

I rarely post reviews but this restaurant managed to trigger me to do so for public safety. First they didn’t speak a word of English, then they brought drinks we didn’t ordered and didn’t want to take them back (even though they weren’t open yet), food was low quality, poorly cooked and prices charged were higher then the advertised outside (not to mention that they tried to charge us for the drinks we didn’t consume). Despite all that it wasn’t even cheap.

Ordered through deliveroo, just a soup and lamb chops , and received only a soup???? When I called the restaurant I insisted to speak with the manager , and he told me to go and collect it myself? Obviously you don't understand the whole concept of "deliveroo" and take away? ORRR to order a drink so they can send it with a driver ? So you are asking me to pay £8 for a can of soda, that's plus fees , which soda is worth £0.70??? Not to mention the soup is worth £5 and the lamb chops £16.... Unbelievable. And no, please don't call me to delete my comment, it will remain here till the end of times

The worst restaurant, the question is if it is still called a spicy pan, about how many cm is the pan in which you make a handful of food, seriously 16 pounds, besides the fact that it is sweet, not spicy under any criticism. As far as I know, anchovies are small, not half the size of a palm....I don't recommend them at all. 2 portions of anchovies and a spicy pan 50 pounds, woe to you

For the first time in this restaurant and the cabbage is more expensive than the beef steak, I saw that they have roe for 7£ a portion and I thought they were homemade... so straight from the store for 1.99 a casserole... almost soup cold, in the end £18 for cabbage with a fork.......

I used to order before all the time from this restaurant. I don’t know that happened because now the food is horrible . You cant serve that actually. And spending 26 pounds and I received a small pot of soup and I’m a tiny girl that even for me is not enough. And I order some prawns but they didn’t have it and they send me some horrible calamari if you can call it calamari . They lost me as a customer as maybe the owner has changed or the chef because before used to be so good . Now is a joke

I have ordered some food and I literally didn’t expect. I pay £22 for a plate of grilled meat, the quantity was too small for the money and everything dry and cold. The soup as you can see was with a mosquito inside. I called the restaurant, maybe they can send another one or a refund but they say is not possible. Please avoid. Poor quality for the money.

A shameful way to promote Romanian culture . The service is zero and the atmosphere sends you back in time ,in the 90's. The place looks like a restaurant from Nicolae Ceausescu sad times. The music they force you to listen is sang by Nicolae Guta and the utensils as cutlery and napkins are given to you dirty. The vegetables in my salad were old. The ''mici'' i ordered were okay cooked but when i went home, my stomach gave me trouble. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed of himself and actually close this place down before someone gets seriously sick.

Instead vegetables rice I received just rice , rice nothing else. And last week just soup no bread no sour cream 🤷‍♂️

Fixed food bought from tesco. The cilantro could be seen to be taken out of the bag and quickly prepared. Not even Romanian iz. He had no bones. And there was also £18. Disappointed and very expensive. Very bad food adapted to the English style. Success

Small orders, through the Uber Eats app, you get soup with a so-called pizza with an egg in the center. You go to return the food and get a refund and you get.... nothing! That's how this restaurant works... What an embarrassment.

I only give one star because I can't give zero. Incompetent and poor quality with old products. Today I ordered two soups, one of which was completely spilled because the boxes they use for takeaway are of very poor quality, just like the nurse who tried to give us a staff person, who seemed completely lost and incompetent ! I also ordered a schnitzel with a portion of fries, the schnitzel was thick and almost raw, it had a strange smell, we chose not to eat anything, just a waste of time and money. Very insensitive and incompetent! I do not recommend anyone to go to this place

Went into this restaurant with my black family, and wasn't even allowed to sit down before we were immediately told we can’t dine here because it was for Romanians only. I doubled down and asked the waitress again and she reiterated that we would not be able to dine here as we were not Romanians. Totally and utterly disgusting and racist and not what an establishment in a multicultural area like Barking should be upholding. Inclusivity for all!!!

This chips definitely are not romanian at all horrible dry chips ,should be made fresh homemade as romanian chips is not frozen pack dry , the bread is like 1 corner small bread dry should be atlist proper slice of bread , bread should be proper bread same the chips should be made from fresh potatoes as romanian traditional plus for the money its payed ......

My experience was very bad at La masă. The music was very loud and I had to tell them twice to do something about this problem. Also the table was covered with a dirty and oily paper face , when I asked for a bottle of wine the served us with some sticky glasses that smelled very bad . Mostly of the important food from menu they didn't had . For example they didn't had soups, dessert, pizza. What kind of restaurant is this? You have a dirty place , the staff didn't bothered to bring us quick the drinks and you can't serve the most important part from the menu. A guy from the grill part ( i think the owner) said it's sunday night. When I arrived there with my friends the restaurant was almost empty with two customers inside , so .. I think they just didn't care . Shame on La masă. I will never go there again. I'm glad because stopped the order in time because I can't spend my money on incompetence and indifference.

Is that a joke? Paid £11.50 for a dry sausage and sad looking fries, not even a piece of lettuce. Smoked Pork & Potato Soup was not bad, just very salty. Does not look romanian and also was £7 which is absolutely unacceptable. If I paid £6 for this meal, I would not complain, but spent £18.50 and just can not wrap my head around it. Reviews did not lie, I thought, how bad can it be?.. Avoid, do not make the same mistake as we did. Pretty sure all these 5 star reviews are from friends and family, not from genuine customers. But the 1 star reviews are, so heres another one.
