Really good food, only been a couple of times but really enjoyed it, highly recommended

Best Chinese for miles, great food, friendly people.

First time here, on my brother’s recommendation. The food was really fresh tasting, fantastic light egg fried rice, sweet and sour sauce was exactly that (some can be too sweet, this had chunks of veg and pineapple), salt sgd pepper chicken and chow mein delicious too. Lady owner so very friendly too. Now my go-to takeaway. An easy 5 stars.

We pre-ordered a take away which was ready exactly when they said it would be. Sadly, the quality of the food wasn’t as good. We ordered a portion of spring rolls which were advertised as two vegetable spring rolls. We actually got six very small, flat spring rolls which had hardly any filling at all, barely any! The chicken in black bean sauce was ok as was the special fried rice but not great. A portion of chips and a bag of not fresh prawn crackers brought the bill to £18.50 - not bad but I would’ve paid more for better food. There are three Chinese take aways in the village so the competition is strong.

I've had food from here for years and have never once had an issue or problem. It's always been high quality, with decently sized portions and good value for money. I would personally recommend the chicken satay and the salt and pepper spare ribs. They are delicious

I live in Adlington and visit Lam's almost every week. Staff very polite. Food gorgeous as always. And importantly very clean. 5 rating. I always look for that. Actually I am buying a takeaway later.

Old fashioned family run take away that doesn't deliver and only takes cash. Everything is made on the premises and the owner prides herself on her homemade sauces and 5 star hygiene rating. The quality of food is superb and the prices are unbeatable, the best for miles around

Nipped out for fish and chips but the "chippies" were closed so tried Lam's. Ended up with a sweet and sour dish - tasty and chips & sausage - also good. Curry sauce was a bit greasy

Good Chinese takeaway,really enjoyed their Special Chow Mein. Large portion, decent price, 20 mins from telephone to pickup.

There are 3 Chinese takeaways in Adlington, hands down this is the best. Portions are good sized, and my fave Chicken and sweetcorn soup is just amazing. Prices are reasonable and in most cases include the rice/chip's. Could do with moving with the times and start taking card payments. Others do this and deliver, could easily get left behind.

Large amount of choice on the menu. Very accommodating and friendly when you walk in. Definitely recommend this place!

I have been to Lams many times over a lot of years and have never had a bad meal. I particularly like the chicken Satay and my wife loves the Salt and Pepper chicken. It's reasonably priced and always freshly prepared
