Lebnani Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

A wonderful meal for my father’s birthday. The starters and main course were all as you would except from a Lebanese restaurant, and were all delicious. And the staff were lovely too. Maybe the heating can be turned up a bit when it’s cold.

Authentic delicious Lebanese Flavours, great service and beautiful atmosphere, feels like being transported back to Beirut.

Great, wonderful little Restaurant that tastes just like the food back home, the dishes are beautifully presented and the staff could not have been more helpful. The lebanese hospitality truly shines through and we will be returning with our entire family!

This restaurant serves fantastic food! I have been here a couple of times, and it is the best Lebanese food I have ever had. There is no bad choice on the menu! The service is bubbly, friendly, and efficient. The bill was very resonable, especially given the quality of the food. The only drawback (if there is one at all) is that the venue is small, but that can't be helped, and I will certainly be dining here regularly.

We did the Lebnani cooking experience as a family Christmas gift and had the most amazing day. The staff were wonderful - accommodating, generous, friendly and utterly welcoming and authentic. And the food was spectacular. We learnt how to make shish touk (grilled chicken) and the most wonderfully creamy hummus which we’ve repeated at home twice already! I cannot recommend it enough - and a bargain at the price, as besides the amazing experience, the food and wine is so plentiful. Thank you to Aga, Simon and Jad for a truly special experience that I cannot stop telling everybody about!

The best restaurant experience we have had all year (it's November) Delicious food all done with just a little extra flare and the quality is incredible. It's a cozy little spot with that looks quite chic.

I recently had the absolute joy of taking their cookery class on a Sunday afternoon. It was an exceptional experience guided by owner Jad and their chef Simon hosted by the wonderful Aga. I learnt so much & I cannot wait to recreate the dishes in my own kitchen, armed with all the new secrets. 🤭🤫 The wine was flowing, the food was delicious & plentiful, vibes were intimate, hilarious and homely. I cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough, if you're able to get your hands on a ticket to the cookery class, you're in for the biggest treat. Thank you, Aga, Jad & Simon. See you soon. ❤️

It's compact and the bench seats against the wall aren't the most comfortable but the atmosphere is nice - busy but not frenetic; and the food we had, mixed meze, was a high standard a worthy 4/5.

We hosted a birthday party and ordered catering which was amazing. The food was just as amazing as you get from the restaurant but delivered straight to our home. The food was delivered in lovely catering platters and the guests absolutely raved about the food. Would highly recommend and will be ordering more catering from them again.

This restaurant is one of our favourite places in Reigate. The food is delicious and you are always well looked after by all of the members of the team. As the restaurant is small the atmosphere creates a warm and intimate environment. You should book in advance to enjoy this wonderful food as it is not to be missed.

Lebnani has become my family’s favourite restaurant within the area; we love to take friends for meals with authentic music, ambiance and hospitality which transports us to the Middle East. Plenty of choice for vegans - I just wish the baklava was vegan as it always looks so delicious! However, I make do with the delicious Turkish delights. The falafels are out of this world, so flavoursome and moorish (a world apart from those at Comptoir Libanais which taste dry and plain). Food is incredible and I tell everyone about it! Mezzes are the best way to eat, with people you care about 😊. Can’t wait for my next visit.

It's a shame that there is not an option to add a bonus star to the ratings, because this restaurant more than deserves it. it is a complete standout in the restaurant world and, although, we are fortunate enough to have a vast selection of restaurants in Reigate, this is a complete gem, which keeps me coming back and back, for either lunch or dinner. They are also now starting to do outside catering, which I know will be as equally successful , as the restaurant currently is. I can't wait for an occasion to use them, though no excuse is really needed! The space itself may be small, but it's beautiful and vibrant, and the welcome you receive from the happy (and still very efficient) staff is both warm and friendly - a true neighbourhood restaurant. The kitchen staff are amazing; producing wonderful , delicious and beautifully presented food and drink (in record time), with what appears to be very little space and still with a smile on their faces - big shout and thank you to you all in the kitchen. I could happily eat the whole menu, with the incredible price point, I probably could too. Thank you to you all, so very much, for such a fabulous restaurant; I'm already looking forward to my next meal with you.

My family and I visited on a Friday evening. We'd booked on Open Table and were immediately shown to our table. There are lots of tempting dishes on the menu. We chose several small plates as a meze starter, all were excellent. The main courses were also delicious. The homemade lemonade deserves a mention as it was very special. Service was friendly and efficient. We'll go again!

Thank you for our delicious mezze dinner earlier this month. We really enjoyed our evening and pleased the weather was mild enough to sit outdoors, making us feel on holiday in our own town! My cucumber cocktail and my daughter’s apple lemonade were delicious and we loved your panna cotta and baklava, which we finished on our walk home. Your restaurant is our favourite in town for dinner!

Lebnani did a fantastic job catering for a family gathering we were hosting at home. All the stress of cooking for a large group was taken away, we ordered in advance and collected the food on the day, and everyone loved it. I would absolutely do this again. Thank you.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this little gem of a restaurant is. The authenticity of the delcious food, and the integrity of the owners is inspiring. This place is a one of the best hidden gems I’ve been to so far, amazing small plates and great flavour and it tastes amazing. I will be back for sure and I recommend you must try, you will not be disappointed.

I have visited to have their delicious food and I also recently went to their wonderful cooking class. The food and atmosphere are incredible. The cooking class is the best and the passion and knowledge they share is priceless. Please continue to offer your amazing food and keep the cooking classes coming. I’d also be interested if you started hosting wine tastings or special menus and evening events. This is one of the best spots in Reigate 😊

We just had a lovely family meal celebrating my brothers birthday. Serving a busy table of 9 (with a toddler) is not easy, but the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was insane! I came here 2 years ago and standards haven't slipped at all. The chicken shawarma was delicious and managed to sample alot of mezze dishes on our table. Also, would like to thank one member of staff (blonde hair - worked 6/7/24) was so friendly with my 2 year old. Even came outside when she found his toy. Can't wait to come back again!

We have been to Lebnani three times now and taken friends back with us. We love the laid back atmosphere, the delicious freshly cooked food and the friendly staff. It is good value and healthy and it’s great to have a ‘local’ (we drive over from Epsom as we don’t have anything that compares) restaurant that is so good.

Booked ahead as busy restaurant for lunchtime. I’d wanted to try out this place since moving here and it didn’t disappoint. The falafel, halloumi and salad were delightful and I was even offered a complimentary dessert as couldn’t manage the whole portion. I would definitely recommend!

Ordered via Deliveroo. It was the worst food poisoning in my entire life. I was bedridden for 3 days. Never again.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Lebnani; made so by the delicious food, attentive service and lovely ambience. We ate a range of vegetarian and meat-based small and large plates, all of which were stunningly good. The atmosphere was buzzy (even on a Tuesday evening) but chilled. The staff were personable and knowledgeable. We hope to visit again soon and would highly recommend it to others.

Me and my wife dined here tonight. Very pleasant restaurant. Immediately greeted and seated. Drinks order taken within 2 minutes. Food arrived in good time after ordering. The food itself was fantastic! I recommend the roasted chicken shawarma. Reminded me of a similar dish I had on the border of Syria. Will return, no doubt!

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Food was absolutely fantastic and flavourful. The staff were lovely and the place had a great vibe. Would recommend to anyone as plenty of choice. Definitely book however as the restaurant is on the smaller side and it was super busy.

Delicious selection of food & good portions

Food is not really authentic, love Lebanese food but this wasn’t up to it. Tried the mezze which they were untestable and dry, what a shame. Service tho was pretty good.

Absolutely lovely meal here - all of the food was amazing ( we shared lots of the starters and then had a couple of mains ) - the hummus and halloumi are an absolute must! We went for my birthday and the lovely team even bought me flowers! Will definitely be back and 100% recommend!

There were 5 of us and we ordered lunch: two main courses and 4 smaller ones. Everything's great. Lamb, chicken, beef, humus, parsley salad, rice. For dessert, good coffee and baklava. The staff speaks several languages. I recommend! Pleasant atmosphere - very clean and nice!

We had a take away and it was one of the best take away meals we've had. Four of us ate and everyone said that their meal was tasty and delicious. We will definitely order from Lebnani again and may even eat in on day!

Fabulous , exquisite, mouth-watering! Lebnani reigate is a MUST dine out experience. Everything about Lebnani, makes your experience enjoyable: the food, the people, the ambiance, the decors. If you try it once, you will go back for more...It simply never disappoints! And it is reasonably priced - I introduced my son to it and since, it is Lebnani night every Friday! Whether you eat in or take it away, the levant flavour is guaranteed - I am so lucky and grateful for having Lebnani close to where I live. Such a great discovery !

Lebanese vs Turkish? As kebab & grill restaurants take over our town centres, we visited our first Lebanese. At Lenani we opted for a takeaway as the restaurant is tiny, was packed and noisy. The online menu was unfortunately not very clear with numerous spelling mistakes and no real description of the food. Our food came to £63 for two of us with 3x starters and 2x mains, which was expensive but about the right amount food. The main difference with Lebanese food is the spices used. All the usual suspects were on the menu including shish kebab, Adana style kebab, shawarma, hummus, halloumi, cold and hot mezze selection. The main difference is the Lebanese food was spicier (hot) with more lemon, thyme, rose, mint, cinnamon and allspice. Turkish tends to use more bay leaf, paprika & oregano and is not so hot. The mixed kebabs we had were sadly all a little dry, although the flavour was very good. You get a tiny slither of bread and a ton of red onions flavoured with sumac (lemon spice) but no salad! The chicken Shawarma was mostly meat and onion and tasted tangy of preserved lemon. It was a truly delicious flavour but again came with just a tiny slither of soggy flat bread and no salad. A starter of Sticky chicken wings was a large portion (similar to a main) but was not very sticky and was served the same as the main courses with a ton of red onion and a slither of bread. None of the main courses (like in a Turkish) come with rice, bulgur wheat or salad. This is charged extra, adding to the overall cost. Don't get me wrong, the Lebanese food here is good, but I missed the large salads, rice and the normal delicious bread selection served with Turkish food, that is all so welcome when eating a large platter of grilled meats. Value for money was also not as good as our local Turkish (Shiraz Horley) restaurant that charges a lot less for a lot more food!! For that reason and in our own personal opinion, Turkish food wins. Lebnani is however well worth a visit to try the very different unique flavours. Good luck.

Small family run restaurant. The Mezze was very tasty, these smaller starter plates were amazing! My favourite was the Lamb Kibbe. The main barbeque meals were tasty but not quite to the standard of the fantastic starters. We had the Chicken Taouk and the Lamb Kafta. There was an awful lot of rice, a single chilli and half a tomato with no salad. These meals were nice but just lacked a certain something. This took my rating down from 5 to 4. If I visited again I would probably just order more Mezze dishes. Pictures of all the food would have been really useful here, I just assumed the main would come with something more than it did. Friendly staff and atmosphere. I would visit again for the Mezze. Outdoor tables at the front nice on a warm/sunny day. Warm and friendly staff.

We popped in for first visit here and managed to get a table for two. We shared 3 Meze dishes. They were delicious, full of flavours and very fresh. Prices were reasonable and the lady who served us was lovely.

Working away and noticed this place and gave it a try. Friendly staff and tasty food. Nice atmosphere not a big restaurant so at least you can hear yourselves talk.

Very good food in a cozy atmosphere which is added to by seeing and hearing the chefs make your food. Didn't go 5 star as I've had better presentation and portion size at this price point locally.

Food was delicious but unfortunately the restaurant is tiny. We were really rammed in and had a table in front of the kitchen with a brick wall and metal overhang behind us. Not at all comfortable and kept banging our heads. The table next to us was inches away if that so getting in and out was a mission. There is one toilet and you have to wait outside the open kitchen where the waiting staff were rushing past constantly. The whole atmosphere was manic and we felt very rushed by the staff who weren’t particularly welcoming or accommodating. The drinks order was taken incorrectly and we were asked to leave as soon as we'd finished our food which was before our 90 minutes was up! Such a shame as had looked forward to trying this restaurant for ages, but it was a real disappointment and I wouldn't recommend this place.

We attended one of Lebnani's cooking experiences and had a great afternoon. This is the second session we have attended and it was excellent again. The team at Lebnani are excellent and very generous with their knowledge. Three dishes are cooked and recipe cards given so they can be reproduced at home. The event is relaxed with lots of opportunity to ask questions and learn about how the food is made. All the dishes are enjoyed at the end, with lots to share between everyone. Totally recommend the experience to anyone.

My wife and I have visited this restaurant few times, the food seems to have developed a sour taste, the service has declined but most of all the Clustphobic atmosphere in the restaurant. The tables are so close together it feels you sharing food and conversation of the adjacent on. I do appreciate the need for good footfall but not to this extent. We left the restaurant half way through our meal.

The food is good, the service is excellent but I think it's overpriced for the amount of food we get, also they didn't offer anything complementary and most of the restaurants we have been, offer at least a little bit of olives or salad without any extra cost. It doesn't worth in my opinion, but enjoyed the time out with my husband.

Absolutely delicious food and drink. Lamb starter was a particular standout. Went on a Saturday evening and the atmosphere was great. Service was also really good despite the restaurant being at capacity. Highly recommended!

The staff were very polite and professional, however the meal was disappointing: the meat was very tasty but it lacked cohesion and the portion was not very big for £18. Baclava was also very dry.

Second time ordering take away from Lebnani and its as delicious eating it at home. Always arrives warm and the quality of the food is always great as are the portion sizes.

We booked for my birthday for 7:30 today, told that the table we had booked would be ready in a couple minutes on arrival so we stood and waited with my 65 year old father, we weren’t offered menus and were left to stand in the doorway. At least half an hour later with little to no apology we were shown to our table, we would have happily waited at one of the many pubs in Reigate if we had been given any sort of guidance. It took a while for us to order our food, when we did get to order our food we were told we’d have to have the pitta bread as a starter which is odd but fine. By 8:30 we still had no food and I was politely trying to get the managers attention she blatantly ignored me as I had to call across the restaurant multiple times and was ignored. I had to get up and walk across the restaurant to get her attention where I was rudely told our food was on the way. We had to ask 3 times to pay and the end of the night and in total it took us 3 hours to eat, without any mezze course because the service was so slow. A real shame because the food was good, the service was appalling and completely ruined the experience. I won’t be going back and I’ll be sending anyone that asks elsewhere.

This is my first time to try Lebanese food. We tried Hummus, lamb, chicken wings. We like to chicken wings the most. Staffs are friendly. However, all the dishes are a bit sour, which is not our favor.

Lovely food great staff spoiled by 1.5 hour limit on table .. felt rushed and no time for pudding or coffee shame as enjoyed the food & atmosphere but wouldn’t go back

perfect for catering and dining in! had a family gathering on short notice, but the excellent selection of both meat-eater and vegetarian-friendly dishes saved the day. Hands down the best Lebanese food I've had this side of the channel.
