Lime Tandoori in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Dined in with my friend on a Thursday night. We were warmly welcomed on entering, seated and served almost immediately which would expect as only one other table taken. Was given advice by the server regarding dishes and food was served in a timely manner. Food was very tasty. I had a chicken puri and chips and my friend ordered the 4 course for an amazing price of less than £20! All good hot, flavoursome and portion sizes good with plenty of meat in them. Service was friendly and efficient by all staff. Will definitely return.

The waiter and rest of the staff were extremely polite and friendly. The food was really nice, I particularly liked the chicken madras. Will definitely go back there in future

Been eating here for over 10 years. Categorically one of the best BI restaurants in Hull. The food is bursting with flavour and you can BYOB! The staff member that served us tonight was particularly excellent too. Very friendly and attentive. I love this place. Highly recommended.

Ordered a Beef Rogan Josh, the sauce had a good flavour but there was excessive oil and the beef was dry and tough.

As always beautiful food, well cooked, delicious, however, please read the notes, didnt want onions in the rezalla :)

Went for a meal with workmates recently and had the 4 course deal. Food was quick to be served and full of flavour. Lots of spices and a bonus that you can bring your own drinks. Would definitely recommend coming here.

First time ordering and honestly amazing food. Took about an hour and half to get delivered but well worth it for the quality in my opinion. Will 100% order again.

Great tasting food, good price

Food was not of a good standard, very like Indian food from 30 years ago made with standard generic sauces and extremely oily. Peshwari Naan stodgy and little coconut, disappointed...

Absolutely delicious. Perfect comfort food after a tough day. Very friendly delivery driver. Food hot and the 4 course special was great value for money. Fully recommend.

I'm doing a new review as I made a mistake on the last review. I ordered the wrong curry which is why it didn't taste like my usual order. I accidentally ordered a milder curry which I thought was a madras. The madras is very nice with the right amount of heat and very tasty. Would definitely order again. Sorry for the mistake!

I'm a regular customer of lime tandoori and last night was disappointing. The madras tasted nothing like it usually does. Very bland, hardly any spice and very salty. The chips were soggy and the curry very watery which made the meal inedible. This isn't a cheap takeaway to get and the food quality last night was well below standard, especially for the price.

Great food best Indian takeaway we’ve had in a while, so much food and very tasty.

The two masala’s were full of sugar making them completely inedible . Extremely disappointed I was refused a refund of these two dishes when I spent £65 . Normally the food is excellent however due to the poor customer service neither I nor my family will be using this place again.

food was not regular portion and there was no vegetables in the biriani just a whole tupperware of sauce. It was as if the food they served was their last. Also the taste was not as good it seemed rushed as I said biriani had no vegetables and tge sagaloo had barely any spinach. This is not usual for this restaurant but very disappointing on this occasion.

We visited this establishment and overall had a lovely time, the food was hot and arrived fast. Service was exceptional and in a timely manner. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the overall dining experience. The true test of a restaurant is the question, would we go back...yes absolutely!!!

This was amazing last time we got it, this time it came and the delivery driver had dropped our bag, poppadoms were literally smashed crisps! Chunks of garlic in curries wasn’t cooked, chips were soggy and so were the onion bhajis. Korma was spicy! Really big shame because last time we couldn’t fault it!! Too hit and miss for us now. 2 visits one excellent, one abysmal. So it’s a no from me for the cost! Sorry.

Ordered a takeaway tonight. It took 1 hour 40 mins to arrive! Ordered two different curries, both tasted identical, just different colours. Totally bland, tasteless, no flavour. Obviously taking too many orders when they are so busy, so quality of the food is compromised. Very disappointed 😞

Menu has changed from the last time we went and i think it was for the better. Slightly more expensive but still value for money and the best thing you can still take your own drinks.

Great value for the set menu, no lime pickle or mango chutney with poppadoms, just onion. Food was delivered slightly early, not a problem, was lovely & hot & tasty, which is main thing.

First time order, did not disappoint, a bit on the oily side but really tasty, lots of flavour and good amount of spice. Ordered a Bhuna, Balti Jalfrezi and Garlic chilli korai. Came quickly, well packaged, the 4 courses offer is great value. Would definitely try again

Food arrived cold and therefore was not very good. Sheek kebab was rock hard and they forgot another starter, albeit they delivered it later. If I’d have been at a restaurant I wouldn’t have paid.

Ordered house special biriyani. Quantity was great, rice was fluffy and flavourful and I was worried whether there would be less meat as it doesnt mention what's in the house special but they were generous with the amount—lots of tender boneless chicken, beef and sliced mushroom! Definitely would buy again.

Where do I start? We entered the restaurant and there was going to ask us if we wanted to be seated next to the door and we asked if we can be moved further to the back of the restaurant fair enough, they sat us in a warm place, then while we were sat there, 10 minutes, no menus. The table opposite was vaping. It came and took our order and we ordered some drinks and they took over 10 minutes to come. The food was lovely. Apart from the Service the Service is absolutely diabolical. The worst service I’ve ever experienced not one person came to our table didn’t even say bye, as you leave the restaurant. Wouldn’t go back

Amazing food but lots of leakage in the bag. Would love to have given this a full 5 stars because the food was amazing, super tasty and hot but the trays it came in were very thin and flimsy, both curries had leaked significantly and it was all over everything else in the bag it came in.

Really dissatisfied. Usually our favourite Indian takeaway. Curry container not secured properly so all of the curry was in the bottom of the bag. No effort made to make it right other than double bagging it so it didn’t spill during delivery. Looks like an extra container of sauce was added to compensate which was also open. Complete waste of money.

Love this place always friendly service great food and reasonable prices. Highly recommend never had a bad meal yet.
