Marks and Spencer Cafe in Merton

Visité el café de agua azul M & S hoy para un desayuno. Casi cambiamos de opinión como bastante ocupados y las mesas no se habían despejado pero no habían tenido un desayuno m&s desde que solíamos tener uno en la tienda Charlton que siempre fue encantador, pero han dejado de hacerlo allí ahora. En primer lugar no sabíamos qué hacer para conseguir nuestro té ya que no se le dijo nada. Encontramos una mesa sin despejar que la gente de la mesa de al lado nos despejaron para sentarnos. Cuando llegó el desayuno era horrible la grasa bajo huevos escalfados de tocino cocido que parecían 2 huevos duros. Una tostada que no había visto una tostadora horribles salchichas y patatas rostis suaves no crujientes tomates pequeños ni siquiera cocinados y la comida era Luke caliente. Nunca volveremos a este restaurante. Ojalá el café rojo no hubiera cerrado un delicioso desayuno.

No sé por qué está marcado como cerrado porque es definición abierta. Compré un pastel y capuchino. Pastel completamente rancio. Café - pedí un pequeño y me dijeron que solo hacemos regular o grande. Le dije que estaba bien presumiendo que me pondría regular - ella entonces dijo tensa así que ¿cuál quieres grande o regular. Seguramente si hubiera pedido algo pequeño, ¿creería que sería el más pequeño? Que añadir a ella. Cuando fui a donde lo hacen -la mujer usó leche que ya estaba sentada allí en la jarra-, por lo tanto tibio. No voy a volver y no recomendaría en absoluto. Espectáculo pobre M&S.

Extremely long wait for food half order missing, twice now the sachet of mayonnaise has been off, chips were barely cooked

Items on menu not available (avocado for poached egg and avocado) no flexibility as not able to substitute a fish finger sandwich for a fish finger wrap (when other wraps were advertised). Ten minute wait in a queue between paying for the order and getting the drinks, of which one was little more than warm.

Purchased a beef sandwich and I was on the loo an hour later for 3 hours straight. I noticed a strange taste halfway through the sandwich but thought nothing of it.

Why does every outlet serving coffee these days have to have 1 machine that takes an age to make 1 coffee? 20 minutes to get served in a queue of 8 people! Eventually got served, but couldn't now sit and enjoy our drinks as we would be late for a hospital appointment nearby. One of our drinks was not what was ordered, and when told, a member of staff said they would replace it. However, she was serving someone else at that point, so after waiting a further 5 minutes, another member was asked and was very apologetic and resolved the issue.

Called in for a quick cuppa. No such luck, despite it not being busy, there was a queue of people all raising their eyebrows and commenting on the wait. There was plenty of staff all milling about avoiding our gaze. I felt unwelcome and ignored. The staff obviously don’t enjoy working there, not welcoming. Come on M&S up your game, no one has any passion.
