I decided on west-african cuisine for dinner and had been given this recommendation a few times recently. Mazino is worth more than 5 stars with it's authentic Nigerian dishes. I ordered the jolof rice and chicken, the fried rice with prawns and plantain as a side. If you have not tried Jolof Rice, this is the place to try. And if you are familiar, then this will challenge your mama's/aunties' best Will definitely order again.

The food from Mazino Kitchen was absolutely amazing. I ordered the jollof rice and the portions was plentiful and the food was so tasty. I am so over the moon to have discovered Mazino Kitchen and eating the food made me feel like I was back in Nigeria eating my mum’s cooking. I can’t wait to order again and explore the rest of the menu.

Mazino Kitchen always goes beyond my expectations and have NEVER failed me. They have gone out of thier way for me and my partner time and time again as they did for us tonight.. Always making sure the food is cooked exactly how we like it. I highly recommend them. The food is amazing 😍 and I am always left more than satisfied. They are so polite and welcoming I have never been made to feel like family from a food business before, always greet me with smiles and loving energy. The upmost love & respect to Mazino Kitchen the best African Food I have tasted so far. The food is made with love exactly how it should be. I will continue to support you and spread the word. I loved the jollof rice and chicken... could be a bit more spicy but was happy that it was halal!

Food and the eating of food is about fellowship. It is about a shared interaction between those dining and the chef. After ordering, collecting, and eating the food I ordered, I feel I know the chef 😉 I feel we now have a bond of shared tastes, flavours, aromas and cultures. The portions were generous, the tastes were delightful and nostalgic and the cost was reasonable. I will be ordering more in the days to come 😁

I recently visited and was absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor and a cozy vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food? Simply divine! Every dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The Wolf Lounge in Dagenham, with its intriguing name and shisha tent setup, holds potential for a cozy night out, but unfortunately, the experience leaves much to be desired. While the concept of an atmospheric shisha lounge is appealing, several shortcomings make it a less-than-ideal destination. Customer service, a cornerstone of any good establishment, is particularly lacking here. The servers seemed woefully uninformed about the menu, unable to provide basic information about the items on offer. This lack of knowledge creates a frustrating experience for customers looking for recommendations or clarity. The inattentiveness of the staff further compounds the issue, leaving one to wonder whether guest satisfaction is truly a priority. The shisha tent itself, which should be a warm and inviting space, suffers from a poorly sealed setup. A cold breeze regularly sweeps through, detracting from the comfort one might expect in such an environment. On a chilly evening, this draft can turn what should be a relaxing session into an uncomfortably brisk affair. As for the drinks menu, the options for non-alcoholic beverages are disappointingly limited. Apart from standard soft drinks, there is little variety to cater to those seeking something more refined or warming to complement their shisha experience. The absence of creative mocktails, teas, or other non-alcoholic specialties feels like a missed opportunity. In summary, The Wolf Lounge in Dagenham falls short in several critical areas. While the concept holds promise, the poor service, drafty shisha tent, and uninspired drinks menu leave much room for improvement. For now, it’s a place best visited with tempered expectations—and perhaps an extra layer to guard against the breeze.
