McDonald's in Stratford-on-Avon

Meant to be open 24/7, door was locked. Staff inside saw me, only to ignore me for 5 - 10 minutes while I'm out in the cold (-2°C!). Just to tell me the restaurant is closed. Very poor service! Not going again!

Staff are decent and do all they can to help but I guess they only can do a limited number of things. Drive thru is bad at times usually up to about 30 minute wait which is frustrating. Had previous issues with staff identifying my meal as a complaint meal which ain’t something I have heard before but at least this franchise made the extra effort of a free meal to try to make things right on occasions. Recent experience: 2024 Watch out when ordering on the app for delivery as frequently there are missing items from western road and customer services provided by Uber eats in app don’t believe there’s any missing items ever so getting a refund is difficult to almost impossible and they never will refund any of the delivery fee, imagine how much money McDonald’s and Uber eats make if they miss one burger per order makes you think what sort of fraud could actually happen.

My first Maccas in England was commendable. Not bad but not great. The 2 stars for the atmosphere is a bit tough - the place was peaceful but my friend was vomiting in the toilet the entire time which certainly curbed eye catching scores

I just order something from there by just eat. ... 6 items was missing!!! After called to the restaurant i just heard you can come and pick up, tge operator was very ugly. If you can't manage with the orders just stop pick them!!!!

This location has the most wonderful manager Jordan. He enthusiastically helped me through a crisis and managed to also continued to deal with keeping this place running smoothly. This workplace has a generous, positive, resourceful manager that evokes the best cooperation from his employees. Thank you so much Jordan. You are one of the great ones! McDonalds has chosen well!

After number 1 comes 2. Window 1, window 2. But you can’t get your food. This is the last time I’ll ever go here. Absolute disaster. Stay in school kids! I cannot emphasise enough how bad this place is. If 1 in 10 visits were satisfactory, accurate and not comically insane that would be impressive. I’ll not bother ever again though and consider this fair warning.

Love the sausage Mcmuffin 😋 so I accept slow, grumpy service and poor cleanliness, but only so far

Usé este McDonald’s desde que abrió por primera vez, que debe ser hace 7 - 8 años ahora. Nunca he tenido ningún problema hasta hace poco Acogí a mis hijos y tenían pepitas comida feliz cada uno. Mi hijo no comió mucho solo unas patatas fritas. Mi hija comió mucho más. En una hora estaba violentamente enferma. Pensé que era solo sobreexcitación, ya que había tenido un día ocupado. La semana siguiente tuvimos McDonald’s para nuestra cena familiar. Algo similar sucedió, tanto yo como mi hijo nos enfermamos violentamente a las pocas horas de comer la comida. Ahora podría ser pura coincidencia que esto nos pasara. Me quejé al McDonald’s directamente y me aseguraron que limpiaban con los más altos estándares. Esta es la primera vez que nos pasa y anteriormente mi experiencia de McDonald’s fue buena. Sin embargo, en general dudo que vuelva a comer McDonald’s. En una nota diferente sobre este McDonald’s. Me molestó ver la eliminación de la sala de juegos suaves. A mi hija le encantaba usarlo y era muy bueno tenerlo en días lluviosos. Estoy seguro de que hay una buena razón para su eliminación, pero muchas familias usan McDonald’s específicamente con soft play, así que puedo ver que eso posiblemente impacte en sus ventas. Así que en general siento que este McDonald’s se ha ido cuesta abajo. Estoy seguro de que siguen todos los procedimientos correctos para la salud y la seguridad y nuestra experiencia fue pura coincidencia, pero ahora la idea de comer un McDonald’s me da náuseas. The food was a bit cold but overall it was alright

Food was freezing cold so I had a very disappointed birthday boy!! Was originally due for delivery between 6pm and 6.10pm but the times kept changing non stop and finally got it at 6.40pm. not happy at all!!

Forgot kids drink and fries and didn’t even get straws with the drinks. Also ordered a large meal and got a medium coke rather than large.

Place was great, nice and clean, service was good but I don't understand why on earth they placed the toilets on the 1 st floor instead of the ground floor 🤔

four sauce pots missing. refund claimed. double cheeseburger was wrapped in paper saying bacon double cheeseburger. burger right, wrapping wrong. a small reason, but small things matter.

Usual McDonald's fare.. low atmosphere score given as beggars/vagrant was outside/inside asking for money/food at 6.30am in the morning.

It’s our local McDonalds, so we use it, but wish it was better. Way better. Like being able to deliver a complete order or get anything right, done quickly, and warm. It’s become something of a running joke among friends and family how poor the service is here, it so bad a you absolutely have to check your order when using the drivethru, and good luck with Deliveroo, too. Restaurant itself can be pretty grubby, overall it’s utterly hopeless, it really is the worst McDonalds I’ve used, and sadly it’s our local one. I complained via email. No response. UPDATE- went for a drive through in desperation, got home, order wrong. Standard. So poor. Avoid. I’ve complained directly again, not holding my breath for a response.

Took a long long time for the delivery food arrived cold with some missing

For the 2nd time recently, after getting home and opening bag, I discovered items missing which were ordered and paid for. My lad actually told me to check the bag before leaving, but it was such a rush in there, I didn't bother If, I do go back there again I will definitely check everything is in the bag that is supposed to be.

Someone needs to train the staff to clean, it’s always so vile in here. There used to be an amazing lady that kept the place spotless. Now it’s disgusting everytime without fail. I don’t think the stairs have been swept of mopped this year at all.

The average waiting time is longer than any mc Donald’s I ever been ! If you don’t wanna wait more than 20 minutes every time you orther avoid ! The personal just stay don’t care about the costumers waiting time !

I had a terrible experience with this order. I ordered two 20 McNuggets as part of my meal, but one of them was missing from my bag when delivered. Just Eat refused to refund me or provide any resolution. This is unacceptable if I pay for something, I expect to receive it. Very disappointed and will think twice before ordering from here again!

Is 2 floors so plenty of seats upstairs not many on ground level. Slow on service as a walk-in customer. As per usual uber eats an drive thru have priory over people who actually visit the restaurant. Whole system needs a shakedown/ upgrade nationwide

Wouldn’t serve me from the drive thru when I was walking my dog. Wouldn’t let me come inside with the dog. More interested in their rules than their customers. This was at 6am

Without question consistently one of the most useless Macdonalds on the planet. Rude staff and I can’t remember the last time we went there and they got the order correct. This evening I ordered four meals at the drive thru. Three were packed. I live 20 minutes away so have not had dinner once again as it’s just too far to go back and complain. This wasn’t the first time. It is inconceivable that one outlet can make such regular mistakes. Utterly pathetic.

Disappointing experience, Ordered food from the app for collection at the drive through on the way to our destination. Once we had gotten to our destination, realise they had given us the completely wrong order which was of less value then we had ordered. No options to get this resolved via the app, Wouldn't recommend ever visiting this McDonalds.

so last week we didn't receive 3 fries and half a big mac which we were refunded. today the order time said was 25 minutes we received our order after 1hr and 50 minutes which was stone cold and came with none of the drinks ordered. angry is an understatement!

A really nice McDonald's. Very clean, airy and bright. Mr Shakespeare didn't write about McDonald's, but if he did then Stratfords would have been Hamlets favourite place to eat. I rate this 1564, possibly even 1616 out of 2000.

This place is consistently inconsistent. You’ll be lucky if your order is right and the drive through queue is often over 15 mins. The last joyous experience it took not once, not twice, but 3 times to be able to count to 3 and make a triple cheese burger. The second time I didn’t trust them so asked what they’d given me when they placed it in my hand. They said triple cheeseburger. So I opened it up and there again was a double cheeseburger. It’s a problem when counting to 3 is a struggle

Delivery guy was abusive and rude and ignored the digits I requested. Also the drinks were spilt and food cold

Uber was great. I asked to not ring the doorbell as it’s late and he actually just left it by the door (most ignore my message and just ring it anyway so thanks so much.

Why on earth would you put a hot coffee next to a Mac fluffy? The ice cream was melted it was more like a pot of cream! Maybe Macdonald need that feedback

Food arrived well over an hour late. Delivery time kept being moved back. Food eventually arrived cold & smellier than their low-life manager who was scared to answer the phone.

Terrible. Really smelly man with curly hair & glasses coughed all over my food. Wouldn’t change it after i raised it with him.. Lots of staff just standing around and doing nothing, food took 30 minutes. McDonalds was once fast food, now an employment gaff for any dregs in society. Awful, won’t return.

This is one of the nicest McDonalds I’ve ever visited. The staff there are just so welcoming and friendly, and the service was great too and food hot.

Missing items (again)! No extra hash brown which is paid for and 2 lots of toasted muffin and jam, but without the jam? We need the jam or we can’t eat it. Do you not give out the jam anymore? In which case just call it toasted muffin! Absolute waste of money. The receipt is correct as to what I should have gotten so just packed incorrectly. This has happened twice now in last few weeks.

You can order on the big touch screen or over the counter. We arrived at about 10.45am, and it was still the breakfast menu, we both had bacon & egg mcmuffin & a latte...our food was warm... but as we were hungry, we ate it. Coffee was hot ish. We had to go upstairs for the loo.

closes early, not 24 hours at all, will only allow drive through after 12am on certain days, false advertising saying your 24hrs and not being 24hr

Why do the drivers just leave hot food on a doorstep ??? We are supposed to give a code but drivers don’t even wait they leave on doorstep so we find cold food not happy

Mate, did you seriously think i would order 2 eggs. EGGS. No muffin. No cheese (i ordered double cheese btw). My receipt literally says egg mcmuffin with extra cheese. I never said i didn’t want the muffin or the cheese. I’m absolutely fuming (and hungry). I am a starving child.

The courier couldn’t find the address even though the post code was correct and refused to order the food. He was very unaccommodating on the phone and refused to listen to directions of how to get there.

I'm local in here, and try the service, it is obviousotly special order for me at 2 days ago at 5th August 2024 when I bought the take away, my order no. is 88 and I was waiting, I was saw the orders for Deliveryxxo , Uxxreat, and drive way orders and the customers they order after me. The main point is, I just order 3 burgers, small chips and 2 apple pies waiting for near 30 mins. it's not a point to complain but I was saw the leader lady packed the pies and burgers for other customers in advance, it is really ridiculous situation. The Cashier staff is stressful by the lead that I was asking for what happened about my order, and tell me waiting 5 more mins for the apple pie, I finally said I saw the pie is in there why put them to others customers in advance. because my Asian face？I don't want to thing about this is a racist thing. My friend visited me and she's pregnant and she want to have McDonald's for dinner and got this service. p.s. the printer always no receipt in the order machine. if compare the McDonald's service I love the London Bridge branch everything is as fast as you can't imagined. that's what I recommend is service training and no matter who order please make sense. and the customers can see what happened in their eyes.

People at McDonald’s need to be more on the ball, always forgetting items in my orders. It’s funny tho, if you go in drive through, never so called forget.
