McDonald's in Derby

The tab water in gents was faulty and I tried to let the restaurant manger know but her behaviour wasn’t friendly and she was rude towards the other staff .

I ordered a double sausage and egg mc muffin meal to find no hash brown once I had drove off onto the busy dual carriage way. Come on its a simple task and there was nobody else inside the restaurant.

Ordered food, and had two banana milkshakes. When we started drinking them they tasted nasty and realised that the milk was gone off Tried to phone the McDonald’s but there was no answer…unable to return and now I fear I’m going to end up being sick

Great food and drink. Guess I was unlucky as the waiting time was very long.

We ordered today at this branch, the order was incomplete and these people customer service and uber eats are just passing us around. Without offering any solutions and wants us to just accept that we paid for an incomplete order.

I’ve used this McDonald’s regularly for over 12 years and they can’t do anything right and refuse to vet the staff to be smart enough to be able to read. They don’t put sauces in the bag, even if you have added more to your order and paid extra. If you order through a delivery partner like Uber Eats then this branch of McDonald’s doesn’t double lid the drinks correctly so they will spill everywhere. This could easily be avoided by providing cans or bottles like KFC and Burger King. And often your order will be wrong like giving you 6 nuggets instead of 9. It’s like the staff lack the basic understanding of reading a receipt and looking at what is in the bag, which is primary school level of education for a child. They fail basic food service and customer service on every level. I have also seen staff inside the restaurant purposefully ignoring the delivery driver staff and not calling out orders even though the order is already completed and sat going cold on the counter.

Every time I go here it's always really busy. This must be a flagship store for McDonalds. Staff are working frantically hard to keep up with demand. Staff as attentive as they can be. Great store

Sort out your delivery service, every time there is something missing from orders, it's not hard to put food in a bag for god's sake.

We usually dine in or eat in our car because we like our food to be hot. We arrived, and it was extremely busy at the drive-through and in the restaurant. After about ten minutes, wait, our order disappeared off the screen so we went to collect it. We had a further ten minutes wait for our order to be put together. The young man doing this was surrounded by food and drinks. Our food was warm and the burgers had items missing. Whilst waiting I observed that the duty manager and the supervisor were engrossed in the production process so therefore could not see what was going wrong. E.g the order assembler. At times like this I wonder if people using old fashioned methods like ordering and eating in restaurant are what you want.

I stopped by for some quick grub and was told to park, as the food was ready, which is very common at McDonald's. The food came out quickly to the car, and after eating, I decided to use the toilet. I thought the door was open because the light was green, but it was locked, and someone was inside. I waited to use the toilet, and when I finally got into the cubicle, I encountered the worst makeshift door lock I've ever seen. I've attached a photo because, to be honest, it didn’t feel safe to use the toilet with that lock, let alone allow a child to use it.

I'm sick of getting food delivered and half the food is missing. Should be ashamed of yourselves it's beyond a joke !! The food is always cold aswell,no straws or dips disgusting!!

The last 4 times I've ordered food for delivery there's always a big item missing! The last one was my sons happy meal! Time before was the quarter pounder the other 2 was the pancakes. They also make it really difficult to get a refund to the point ive not even bothered trying to push it. Just can't order from there again now.

Busy as usual but a nice cozy McDonald's with helpful staff. The food is as usual tasty and served hot.

I’m struggling here as I really want to put a minus in front of the one star I’ve given for service! Visited this evening at around 915pm, it was quiet but I waited over 20minutes for my order and watched an assistant literally take 10mins to sort my drinks whilst my food sat on the side going cold. Isn’t someone meant to get the drinks ready whilst someone gets the food together? The assistant constantly pulled faces at everything she was doing and it looked like she purposely went as slow as possible throughout making the drinks it was comical. I also witnessed bad language from another assistant and others moaning I can only assume about someone else that worked there! My food was stone cold by time I got home. It was quiet inside so I’d have expected to get what was a pretty simple order fairly quickly. This has to be one of THE worst McDonalds ive been in. Sort your staff out please!

Wrong order received. The Big Tasty burger was ordered as a large meal. It came with several things taken off the burger - we did not request any changes. It only came with small fries. Ordered nuggets too - they didn’t arrive. As well as that, the Big Mac meal did not come as a meal. Again, small fries. No drink. All of the food was cold and the delivery was late.

I asked for no cheese on Double Cheese Burger as I'm allergic to cheese, what happens yet again they send Burger with cheese. Also food was cold again, 4 times now and food has been cold

Food was standard maccies. Place was obviously under staffed. Long waiting times for deliveries. Had an out of date apple pie that took ages to change.

It would be great to have an option to tip a courier after the order has been delivered. Asking for a tip before the customer has been served is not a great idea. However when the courier has done a great job, there is no option to tip at the end

Terrible car park entry and arrangements (inc signage), so much so that we parked and went in as we assumed no drive through. But there was one - which we discovered when attempting to leave. Dave was a top bloke delivering trays to customers inside. Our food and drink didn't take too long, delivered by a nice young lad. Not enough toilet capacity. Dog mess outside the door from the car park - seemingly no-one monitoring the outside. If the roundabout upgrade works do go ahead then it will be a nightmare to get in and out of.

Delivering quality fast food with a good value of money. Wondering if the 2 hour free parking time limit is removed?

while the order was early, they waited at the opposite side of the building. The order was lacklustre, we got given half the amount of chips you would normally get for a large, and instead of the 6 nuggets we only got 4, and the amount of cheese sauce on the cheesy mc crispy, could barely fill a teaspoon.

Not the fault of the restaurant, but the place was just too busy. Much better the 2nd time.

Driver gave us 2 bags but the food bag was the wrong one. The only items correct were the drinks. Terrible service by the driver. Clearly delivering more than 1 order which is not an issue unless he mixes up the bags

The WORST JustEat experience I've ever had. Delivery time kept being pushed back, finally arrived an hour and a half after the original time. Food had clearly been cooked when original order was put in as it was ice cold when it arrived. And several of the items were wrong.

Best McDonald's in derby food was hot arrived quickly been to other McDonald's and the quality isn't as good as the one at markeaton would highly recommend using this branch

Do not come here at night! There are absolutely no lights, took me 5 minutes to find the drive thru- and even seen other people struggling and entering in the drive thru on the exit because it’s so dark! Even the exit was so hard to find so we had to follow someone else hoping they knew where it was.

Food was good, missing dips but thats not a big deal, however the seal on the bag was broken, which I was dissatisfied with. Not sure of the procedure when the bag is fully opened as this has not happened to me before, however next time the order will be refused.

Congratulations to your courier, this proves that very very occasionally one of your couriers can actually deliver to my front door, in other words, a HOME delivery instead of somewhere nearby.

Food messy as anything, looks as if was made by a 1 armed monkey who was confused and distracted by an albino folk troupe outside his zoo cage or something, delivery driver on the other hand was an absolute gent and definitely not a monkey or a limb absent animal of any kind

The ice cream machine was working and has done for the past two weeks. Food order was completed quickly. The receipt machine didn't work though. All in all good maccies experience.

Everything was cooked well, and arrived at a decent temp. However, of the 4 burgers ordered, and listed as No Ketchup/Pickle.. that arrived stickered as ONLY Onion/Mustard. NOT A SINGLE ONE had any mustard OR onion on them, which left them rather dry

I'm not happy at all, you got the whole order wrong. Wrong drink that I can't drink cause it's too strong of a coffee and I'm pregnant no hash browns and 1 out of 3 muffins appalling!
