McDonald's in Kirklees

An absolute disgrace. Didn’t bother sending any of the fries that were with the order.

I got a delivery order. I have tried ringing and no one has answered. They have given me a full fat Coke instead of a Diet Coke and it is not filled to 0.4 L line like it should be and it has been there a while as it is flat. No sauces in the bag that I requested and can see on my order transaction. No straw or napkins and the fries are old. I have worked in a McDonald’s before and never have I know which a poor restaurant.

Went through the drive through today, waited at the speaker for 10 mins before someone took order, only ordered 3 happy meals, at the window they tried giving wrong order, I explained what id ordered and girl was really rude heard her shouting and saying she threw the order ticket away. Took another 10 mins to get 2 happy meals and when I asked for the third one she tutted and stormed off to get the other one, One of the meals had 5 chips thrown in the bottom of the box and all food was freezing cold. DO NOT GO HERE! RUDE STAFF, COLD FOOD and ALWAYS WRONG

Food is usual stuff. Staff friendly. Place is ok - I find it cold and uninspiring. Hard to pinpoint why. Mind you, they are all like this. You get what you pay for. Update March 2024: another meal last night. Food OK. Still miserable decor. Staff reasonably friendly. OK but not great.

The ice cream was warmer than the food

Ordered via just eat food cold coffee spilt all over it. Driver said he would get it sorted for free and took pics and packaging. Didn't realise that just eat needed these to do a refund. just eat wouldn’t refund and so the driver cheated me out of £20. Just eat wouldn’t contact the restraint or the driver

The workers completely ignored me. Literally just dumped the order on the counter and walked away. Despite me asking when several times about my order

I'm not sure which criteria is used for customer service but you need to get them on lessons ordered 4 meals, no sauce on all orders and ordered 6 meals only 4 came with drinks had to drive back after discovering that we didn't get all drinks, the person who served me was racial and decriminatory manager came after the complaint of her giving me an attitude and he brushed it aside with an attitude as well , worst customer service and racial......

Poor quality, cold food, and terrible service. The fries did not taste well and were cold and soggy. Not even the burgers met up to a good standard. I hope you improve this place drastically very soon and I am not coming anytime again and I feel like i have been robbed as I spent over 30 quid for such tasteless food to eat with my family ! What a waste🫤

Been a numerous of times now and every time my meal has taken 10 minutes or more to prepare. It’s like it’s been left on the side and forgotten about before it’s given to me because when I eventually get it, it’s always cold !!

So slow. No customers but lots of staff. Waited about 30 minutes for one single burger

No matter how many times I place an order for delivery from this place it is barely ever correct or I have problems like stale cold food, drinks half empty etc etc. The order I made today came with my fries missing from my meal so basically I had half a meal and aren’t even full due to this, but pay ridiculous prices for food I don’t even receive…. The drinks were half empty and the 2 lots of fries and the burgers we did receive were half empty and stone cold. Don’t really know what sort of staff they have working here but they are clearly idiots, can they even count to 3 because it doesn’t seem like it when I received 2 lots of fries in my order and it should have been 3……really? Who is that dumb??? Get some better staff because clearly your staff can’t even count to 3……use Burger King because their food is far better quality and the burgers are fresh tasting and you get more for what you pay.

They are marking he orders ready before they gets ready. And when we demand for the orders they argue. I will post the pics of the people working here. Their behaviour is also same. I will complain on twitter and other platforms where their superiors will be asking questions from them. This person in the green sweater misbehaved too. The manager is also rude

Do not order via Uber eats, just eat of whatever you use. it seems they KNOW that your orders cannot be changed after it is delivered. I received half full drinks, with no ice. All my food was cold, chips were large but had the amount of a small/medium portion. My wrap was just rolled up and put in the package. I ordered a Terry chocolate orange pie, which was more costly but I was sent a standard apple pie. Terrible service on the order and I can guarantee the staff who packed the order knew what they were doing, as everything was wrong.

All good. But, it could improve if, when you asked for, for example, extra source on your Big Mac, or extra Tatar source on your fish burger, they put plenty on rather than a bit more.

I'm not sure what clowns you got working there, but you need to get them on English lessons ordered 4 meals, half didn't turn up and the rest were ment to be plain IE no sauce and they came full of it. Also turned up at my house cold. Never come for food here again

Not the fastest place 15 min for a cheese burger

How this place has a rating of 2.7 is incredible. Drive-thru order given to me incorrectly twice. Order re-given verbally three times. Sat in a parking bay for nigh on 25 minutes just for 5 flipping cheesey bites. Manager was utterly gormless. Got home and still missing the sauce for the dippers. To whomever owns this franchise ... you've got a team stealing a living. Bring back Shaw Cross coalpit and send the lot of them down there for a day. Bet they can pick a small order correctly then ...

Went through the drive through and had to say 3 times what I wanted then they got it wrong NFC not working right declined the card from the phone. Had to get the card out and pay that way. Told me he couldn't change what I wanted to go to the next window and tell them it's large you have ordered. So I finally got there 2 mediums awaited me. Sorry iv ordered large well you can't change them. Well that's not what Iv order. Well we can't change them, get the manager please. She came and went on one I want large I'm not taking well it's a pound more well Iv no change so I gave her my card and she disappeared with it eerrrmmm cards not supposed to leave my sight. Well when the text came back to my phone £1.39 had been now not knowing how much is large cappuccino I think I've been ripped off it may only be 20 to 39 pence that's not the point. So Main manager puts the phone number in response and the contact name I'll give you call.

This the worst McD branch in WF code, please go to Morley or Birstall. Fish O fillet is always over cooked and tastes of stale oil.

Comedic Experience. Last time we got a drink it was half empty not even just a bit low. so we asked if we could have it topped up the lady just looked at me then walked away. Couldn't help but laugh. We then got home they forgot our cheese burger and sauces.

Just been for breakfast, 2 adults and 2 kids, food was good nice and hot and drinks likewise, although they messed up promo hot chocolate a lovely lady called Chantelle sorted it out quickly and upgraded his drink to large, she was also really nice to the youngest kid who had coloured in a grinch picture, thanks Chantelle you made a gloomy day brighter !

Waited over an hour and when the order arrived half of it was missing, it’s run by kids you just don’t care. Avoid this McDonald’s at all costs!

Ordered on the app for collection. 2 burger meals a side of cheese bites, McFlurry and pie. Our order came, there was no bacon on our big tasty’s WITH bacon. Chips were freezing cold, drinks half full and pie missing. Took the order back inside to be remade. This took a ridiculous amount of time. We got the order back. One drink wrong, still no bacon on the burger and cheese bites now missing. 9:30 at night with 2 people sat inside and 3 cars in the drive through, would of given no stars if I could.

Surrounding area is covered in discarded packaging. Aren't they supposed to have a clean up policy. Residents are fed up of it. Anne wainwright must be very proud of her restaurant.

Ignored on drive through. The staff that eventually spoke said "i cant help, ive no till" ... it was an online order" No urgency in the restaurant at all

if ur get you're food deliver just know you're gambling with your money has they managed to forget items from your order.

Just been to shaw Cross mcdonalds we ordered 2 burgers and 2 cheese burgers...told us to wait at next window people that work there all you could hear was staff screaming and laughing and seen them running about in the back messing about with each other....we was waiting 10 minutes before I got out of the car and i shouted through the window....were is my order then they stopped messing about and brought my order to the window.....why employ kids at this place it's a disgrace worse mcdonalds in the country.😡😡😡

As a Lacastrian, I was nervous about the language barrier but was pleased to see that TV ordering screens were installed and I let out a sigh of relief. I was hoping to try the chicken & bacon delightfully pictured on the screen, but alas, it wasn't available. I opted for the McSpicy meal as a 2nd choice. It was fine. The fries were a touch pale, but maybe that's a Yorkshire thing? While waiting, I was reading the Halloween events and wondered if the woman cleaning tables was still in character as she hobbled about with a deathly look on her face, kudos if she was as it was really lifelike but missing any gruesome makeup, I wasn't sure. My order arrived - on a tray... I said it was a takeout, and the man promptly put the items in a bag. The biggest disaster occurred at that moment as a few of the fries fell out of the box and tumbled to the tray, which he swiftly whisked away, and my 'BONUS' fries were gone! Everyone knows the thrill of finding a few extra fries at the bottom of the bag, and mine were screaming in (Halloween) terror at being dumped into the bin! I'm heading back over the border later, God knows if they will accept me as one of their own but if I keep quiet, I have a chance.

Ordered mcdelivery, wrong order arrived, had to drive to restaurant to rectify it, gave me wrong order again, then young lass behind till argued even though i'd shown her the order on McDonald's app, ffs get staff that know what they're doing

We use the drive through early in the morning when it's quiet. don't usually have any problem's. Fatima is always polite and cheerful as opposed to some staff who can't even manage a good morning

Ordered on line. The bag had the correct receipt but the food was completely different. Can't answer a phone, no apology offered. Absolutely useless.

Took over 1 hour and I knew it wasn't gonna be warm because we ended up with a different driver. When it came it was totally the wrong order and was stone cold. This is not the first time this has happened its a regular occurrence. This is probably the worst McDonald's I've been to and that's saying something.

Found a pube in my fries! And my fries were green Disgusting.

We ordered to eat inside and waited around 25 minutes, it was really quiet inside and outside so we couldn’t understand why it was taking so long so we started walking around looking for our food. A staff member brought it on a tray with no greeting or apology for the wait. The chips were freshly done but the burgers and coffees were lukewarm and the coffee was extra milky even though that is not our preference.

Everytime we order from here they mess up on the order by either sending wrong stuff or don’t send stuff with order it’s an absolute joke we call them and they say oh if you can come and collect we will sort it out what kind of service is that especially when it isn’t cheap with delivery on top. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all food is also cold and soggy when it arrives

This is how we’re being treated every day. Deliveries are ready, but the McDonald’s staff never ask us to pick them up. We always have to ask them for the deliveries. They just stand there, enjoying their coffee, while most of the staff don’t pay attention to the drivers. As a result, we get negative feedback from customers about cold food. It happens all the time, but they still expect us to swipe orders quickly. How funny is that? This is how they’re treating drivers.

We won't be visiting again. Order all wrong. Got chicken nuggets instead of quarter pounder with cheese. All food cold. Wrong drink. Miserable staff.

Again orders wrong, long service times, drive thru closed again. Staff (except 1) rude. Managers hanging over food bins with phones in hands, staff on break in dining area swearing and been crass. Really not a 'family friendly' environment #update# Gave them time to get into swing of it, went and food was lovely... red hot good service clean! Was very surprised! Went again.. back to poor service, cold food, 35 minute wait for 2 meals,not busy, very rude staff coupled with and extremely rude manager! 😒 Mentioned issues and was told its not their problem and I should go elsewhere... so I shall.. a few attempts given to this place and once or twice its been spot on, rest of time it is dire .... Update 14.9.24 Tried a few more times since this. NO IMPROVEMENT! If anything it's getting WORSE Still shoddy, slow service, unclean, like disgustingly so, 9/10 order is wrong or missing items items you do receive are thrown in and poorly presented even in comparison to other McDonald restaurants. Staff are ignorant and are on phones, unclean hygiene practices ( touching faces, coughing into hands and touching food) told children and partner will no longer be coming here.

Fillet of fish has gone greyer, smaller and 20% more expensive since last year or so. It used to be cod or haddock but no idea what this naff fish is. Would have got better in Iceland to cook at home. Absolutely terrible

service was fast however got home my wife's sausage and egg mc muffin was minus parts of the top muffin seriously looked like something had eaten round the edges and into the centre meaning all the cheese was stuck to the wrapping paper

This place is a disgrace, how can you serve food like this. Looks like they just folded the food in wrapper not the wrapper round the food. This place needs new management because there ain't no way this place is being run to a decent standard when food like this is leaving premises.

Its maccies, your lucky if your food is luke warm and to interact with an actual human is quite rare these days ( i think they're all hidden in the back ) I wish the food would actually look like the pictures but one can only hope as the masses will still carry on buying these flat burgers , yes yes i know here i am myself buying this ' food'

A absolute disgrace.... on Sunday we got there at 10.57am aiming to get some of the breakfast menu ... waited about 5mns to order through the drive through ... when we eventually were asked we were refused the breakfast menu as it was just pass 11am ...the staff was so rude no manners no apologies walked off nd slammed the cash window on us ....A disgrace...we re still aiming to reach the chain owner to raise the concern ... Unacceptable..we def do nit advise no one to g there...

Ordered via drive thru - 2x double Big Macs with bacon meals and 1x cheese garlic bread dippers. At payment scanned card but then noticed it was a chicken share box (more expensive) and was told I’d just have to have it.. Then at next window got 3 burgers - staff said they’d read the screen as a chicken burger not a share box. Then got home and it’s single Big Macs. Absolute joke. Not to mention after waiting at ordering screen 5-10 mins someone who just pulled up got ordered first!

The worlds slowest McDonald’s, you can go in and it just be you and still end up waiting 15 minutes for a Big Mac meal. There seems no urgency in serving anyone particularly if you walk in as priority seems to be given to drive-thru customers. At my last visit food arrived lukewarm which is not surprising considering the 15 minute wait as I had seen it sat on the side for a good 5 minutes. This McDonald’s is also the only one where I’ve seen staff put your food on a tray, bring it to the collection counter then bag it all up there - rather than just put it all in the bag to start with. Not sure why as it always results in half your chips being left on the tray and not making it too the bag. Would not recommend at all and you’re better off driving elsewhere as it’ll inevitably be far quicker.

Ordered via JustEat and items were missing from order, rang the store and they simply told me to ask for a refund via JustEat app as they’re separate to McD’s (even though it’s McD’s staff that can’t put an order together correctly), what was the point in paying for delivery when I had to drive there anyway in the end? So asked for the refund via the app and drove down to the store to re buy missing items. Placed order and drove to next window and waited, nobody there! Drove to next window eventually when the queue moved on and they were all stood looking confused until I said there was nobody at the last window to pay! Guy in white shirt took my card and disappeared over to the previous window to pay for the order using my card! I don’t think this is right to take my card! Handed us our order and we checked it before driving off and no surprise….. an item was missing again! Absolute joke of a restaurant and won’t be going back again. Incompetent staff that simply don’t care.

A typical McDonald's establishment. No complaints. Don't understand the negativity for this McDonalds. I use it on a regular basis and have never had any problems.

Orderd breakfast wrap meal, no hash brown with the meal, aswell as a bacon mc muffin to receive a sausage mc muffin... employee was like taking to a brick wall when I complained, clearly tell she didn't care.

The worst McDonald’s on the planet! Ordered £30 worth of food. When it arrived it was the complete wrong order and worth 1/3 of the cost. Both the restaurant and the driver failed to realise. Received a refund for the order. I re-ordered and collected and they still forgot sauces that I paid for. The restaurant is run by idiots. Don’t order from here go to the Wakefield ones instead!

Got to say the worse experience I've had from McDonald's! Double cheeseburgers x4, all cold. Chicken nuggets x2 (20), luke warm. Bbq bacon and chicken wrap, cold. Fries x4, well under cooked and cold. Milkshakes not thick, not flavoured, just milk. spending over £45 not good at all will Certainly not going again. Waited 40 mins for my order and the place was empty apart from the drive through. Absolutely disgusting. Waste of money!

Was a good visit after a hard day cleaning. There is a children's play area outside too, don't think theres one of them at any other McDonald's. So kids are happy.

Absolutely diabolical at this place. I don't know if it's on the job application that you need to be absolutely numb skulled to work here. All I know is, apparently, chicken selects are now cheese bites. 60 quid order. Meant to get 6 chicken selects and 12 nuggets... well, 10 chicken nuggets and 5 selects. 5 piece chicken select meal, chicken selects where chuffing cheese bites inside the box. I mean, how hard can it be? But no point in speaking to the staff, they deny everything! Macdonalds... you seriously need to start hiring better staff. Your company reputation is dropping rapidly second by second because your employees just don't GAF.

Loads of kids messing around, one staff member brought their kids, and they were messing around throwing things. Wouldn't visit again. There is another that is much more peaceful.

Left mine and wife's Big Macs on the end to go cold whilst they was waiting for the fries to be cooked which took a while, from where I was stood I could see them on the end with some guy picking inside his ear then moving the food around on the tray and the bins was overflowing, disgusting. Never going back there.
