McDonald's in East Staffordshire

Staff seem oblivious to customer service offering little if any welcome Tea was cold and staff observed making food without gloves and affectively throwing food on delivery tray

Ticked all the boxes you would hope for at a McDonalds. Clean, quick service and food was delivered hot and in a timely manner. Order correct first time.

Toilets were closed, no indoor tables, sat outside in the cold, needing a wee. Chips weren't great but the fillet o fish saved the whole experience.

Classic McDonald's experience and food in a convenient location. Parking is crowded on a Saturday morning.

If you are looking for good food, drive on by. If you want to add to the sum of human obesity, there is plenty on the menu to choose from.

The food is lovely but the staff were miserable. Plonked the food down and ran away. Also the only McDonalds I know to charge for sauce when I’ve bought a whole meal.

Pretty much guaranteed to get your order wrong. Ask for sauces on the drive through. Expect none, true story.

Went to the drive through with the nephew

I stopped off around 9 in the evening, but despite being 24hrs, the inside seating was closed. I was told by the staff that I could sit outside, which would have been nice, if it wasn't January, and -3°C.

Always pleasant service and staff smile when serving you. Food is often luke warm or cooled and occasionally assembled with a "no shits given" attitude as seen by my bigmac burger bun without a burger, salad or sauce just bread on bread. Awesome

Awful, double burger had one gurkin and 3 tiny bits of onion, it looked like they'd been playing keep ups with it across the kitchen ⚽️ absolutely battered! Chicken burger fillet had been butterflied several times and rolled out and looked like an inner sole from an old leather shoe from a charity shop. Chips were anaemic no flavour. Worst McDonald's I've ever had.

Orders go wrong and food not as good. Also more expensive

Small McD restaurant on the busy A50. Convenient stop for food, fuel and toilets in both fuel station and McDs. The car park is very small for the amount of users. Food is standard, service is standard and small restaurant makes it feel very busy. Convenience is the word for thus place.

Quick service, pleasant staff and freshly cooked food

Service incredibly slow, team didn't seem bothered at all, my burger was sat under a hot lamp for almost ten minutes, chips had not a lick of salt. Whilst I was waiting an eternity for my food I stood a few metres from the counter and enjoyed listening to the team shouting and swearing. Probably won't be coming back but thanks for the cold food!

Got here 04:52 and was told we are not cooking at the moment because we change our @ 5 to breakfast not good customer service 😒

Drive through very busy so parked up and went in. Ordered from screen. Easy to do. Didn't have to wait long despite clearly also serving the drive through. Hot food and correct sauces/dips as ordered.

Very clean and tidy store. Staff great. Food wasn't too hot though.

Small carpark but generally always one or two spaces free. Nice spot for stretch and a snack. It also has a drive through.

The restaurant was nice and quite clean, service was a bit slow, more concerned with online orders, got our order a bit wrong, but corrected it when asked

Had some wrap and fries. To be frank, the fries were not to McDonald's quality. Taste and texture were below average. Cheesy bites were just warm with rancid oil flavour. Wrap was perfect. Management needs to look into that. Prompt Supervision is very important for the good running of business.

Floor was slippery in the toilets, like they used grease instead of cleaner, the music was loud and horrid, but david was nice

If they took more care and got more right first time, then service would have been so much quicker. Car park is a bit crazy. Restaurant was clean and counter staff friendly.

Busy but quick service. Food was hot and the seating area was clean.

You can't order inside through the night anymore which is inconvenient if you have a big vehicle and your on nights.we tried the £5 meal saver and the food was rubbish had no taste to it at all the best thing was the fries were hot for once but would not go again and would not order that particular meal deal very disappointed ☹️😞

And no parking here either. Uttoxeter is really bad for services.

Lovely hot chocolate served by helpful staff. Was clean and tidy. Staff who take a pride in their store. I chose a table with the usb connector and air charger. Again a really nice option

Cold food cold restaurant ,and very miserable staff

This McDonald’s is really good, I’ve been several times now and I’ve seen Crew Trainer Chloe quite a lot! Every single time she is very polite and smiley.

If I could leave a 1 star I absolutely would. I ordered a McRib and there were next to NO onions and No sauce. Don’t even get me started on SAUCE! Every McDonalds that I have been to I have NEVER had to pay for sauce (except the 50p pots) the fact a restaurant wants you to eat food DRY is beyond me. To follow this up the lad on the window was about as useful as a chocolate fire guard with an attitude and service about as sh*t as the available parking. To top this all off we ordered a triple cheeseburger WHICH WAS LABELLED and still only given a double. Money grabbing as well as poor attitude from staff….should go back into training. :)

No monopoly stickers with fries, despite the fact that the promotion was still in operation. Scandalous. Its a scam.

Standard McDonald's, quick and efficient service. Busy and loud because of low ceilings when crowded.

Mcdonalds was great Var Park so small and multiple exits with cars unable to get in and out adjacent to petrol station- very dangerous layout

Stopped going here as they never got my drive thru order right. Begrudgingly dropped in here again, and surprise surprise, the fries were missed out, so nothing has changed since my last visit a year ago. Carpark is always too busy to find a spot and walk in and complain. Suggest you avoid, or double check all the bags before you drive off (which is difficult for big orders)

Probably one of the worst places I have visited, just off "McDonald's Roundabout" with a horrible layout to enter and exit the car park, Staff at the drive thru struggled to take a basic order, and upon reaching the final booth for the food they attempted to pass us drinks which were not on our order, then was informed that even though we had ordered meals we had to pay 10p per sauce, at no point is this advertised, and upon us asking to purchase the sauces staff were not happy at this due to them not having a till at the booth even though we paid cash. Food was warm, Car park is tiny for the amount of visitors they get along this main route. Would not visit again, if you are desperate for food I suggest the garage next door.

You know the story, average food not cheap but convenient when you on the move, car parking here is an absolute nightmare

We only received one of two burgers paid for, very frustrating as we didn't see this until back on the A50.

Damp slow service through the drive- thru

We got a drive through for breakfast on our way home from Alton Towers

No menu on drive through. OK I'm not 18 & don't eat from there on an evening usually like the yoof but a restaurant with NO MENU.

Absolutely terrible,worst McDonald's ever,so bad no even worth one star ,the worst in all.

Dangerous carpark , staff are brilliant, thankyou. Food was as always very tasty with a good selection.

A well located McDonald’s, but parking could be alot better as spaces are very limited considering its location. Food and service is what is expected so 4stars.

10 of the King's finest pennies for sauce!? Was it an April fool in August? Was it the latest prank from Ant & Dec? Or was it the final sign the world has gone truly mad?? As if it couldn't get any better ... in the modern society we live in, it was cash only. (Obviously we didn't have a round coin on us) The result, 2 bemused parents, 3 sad children, and 1 Google Review to help the nation. McDonalds Uttoxeter shame on you! But congratulations for a world first. 🏆

Really lovely service from David who chatted to me and my kids. Food and everything else as you’d expect. The car park is small and could do with an extension.

Gosh massive queue food cold on drive through. Asked for sauce when collecting food no was the answer 10p per sachet no cash on us as paid by card . Weren’t interested the dryest coldest meal ever on £22 for 3 people . No where to park no loos used and not allowed sauces !!! Awful 😞

I rang through to McDonald's uttoxeter just to ask for the order to be correct considering that many orders in the past have been delivered incorrect , the bloke I was speaking to was awful ,his attitude was cocky and kept interrupting me when I was speaking, arguing and just having attitude in general. I asked to speak to the manager , he replied he was the manager so I told him straight maybe you should think about how you speak to your customers , argued with attitude with me for at least 20 mins. In the end i pit the phone down on him after telling him his attitude was disgusting

Bought a large coffee at the drive through this morning to discover there was wasn't any coffee in it (milky water), took it back to the drive through to exchange. Girl at counter took the coffee from me, stood around the corner and came back two minutes later to pass me off the same coffeeless coffee. They sorted it out at the next hatch fortunately although the new coffee was scorched and bitter. Some people don't deserve a job, where do they find these employees or was set up by a hidden camera show?

I am absolutely disgusted with this Macdonald’s. We stopped here to get my three young boys a treat on our way to morecambe, a 3 hour trip from home. Ordered a large meal and 9 chicken selects. I asked for normal bbq sauce with the selects. My son then asks for some garlic Mayo as we waited. So I asked at the window, like you would do in any Macdonald’s drive through across the country and was told that sauces don’t come with a meal. I’m 43, and I have never in my life been told that you don’t get sauce with a meal! So I asked to swap a bbq for a Mayo, baring in mind you get three sauces with the selects, and she said that would be 50p?! The manager came over and said because of the price difference it would be 50p charge. BUT THEY COME WITH THE FOOD!!!! So I gave over my card to pay and she said I’d have to go in and pay. I have twin 6 us olds and a 7yr old in the car, I can’t go in. To which she replied “well I can’t bring a till over here can I?!” I am utterly disgusted in the computer says no attitude, even though she is absolutely in the wrong and I shouldn’t have been charged for the swap I was happy to pay. I have never known such an unhelpful and rude attitude at Macdonald’s. Hugely disappointed. Avoid like the plague!

My son wanted a McDonald’s breakfast as part of a birthday treat. Ordered a sausage and egg McMuffin meal. They forgot the egg and cheese !!! Then there was pancakes and syrup on our order and all the pancakes came without any syrup at all. This happens so often the missing items from this restaurant I honestly don’t know why I give them another chance. So disappointed !!!

Stopped for some drinks on our long journey along the A50. The delivery of cocoa was delayed, so no kind of chocolate drinks were available. The coffee was OK and the kids enjoyed the slushy thing. It's in Uttoxeter apparently (🤷‍♂️), squeezed on to the edge of a giant roundabout along with an Esso garage. It has the kind of tiny carpark that causes a pannick attack. The entrance and exit are multi lane and totally illogical, plus there's a drive through lane squeezed in as well. It can only be reached by car from the horrible roundabout, so inside were just weary travellers like us, desperate for something refreshing. I thought our order had been stolen by an uber-just-eat person, she charged to the counter, scooped up a dozen items, just as our number turned from 'preparing' to 'ready' and then disappeared from the screen. Turns out it wasn't stolen, ready or being prepared. It was round the corner still?? The gents toilet was a sewerage disaster, both urinals were broken and taped off like a crime scene, one toilet bowl was blocked and the whole place stank of drains. But they weren't going to let that shut them down. So I tried not to touch any surfaces, opened the door with my little finger and left to consume my order. 🤢. Back in the car park, three of the largest vans in Britain had blocked any vehicles movements from our side. Luckily all the arriving traffic was confused by the arrows and heading for the exit, so we left via the entrance before it got unpleasant.

Not much to say got served well nice breakfast

All burgers came out like it put together with a blindfold. Barely any sauce in it, dry as a nuns. Server came past and asked how everything is, told him, and he said that's how it comes. Offered us more sauce at 10p a go, because the franchisee wasn't happy about amount of sauce they were using. Tables were gross, had to cover them with napkins, wouldn't go back unfortunately

They were hammered (as apparently all of this area shuts on Sunday including Alton Towers own restaurants despite having guests sleeping over) and they were calm, fast and really on the ball. Thanks for amazing service!

Food was as you would expect. Drains were blocked outside which gave a horrible smell, but not inside.

Good McDonalds, food was served very quickly and was hot. Clean toilets. Good place for a pit stop on the A50.

20 minutes for a click & collect coffee and still waiting, poor, poor, poor service.

Food not cooked chicken raw took one bite and had to spit it out looked at it and could see it was flash grilled outside but raw inside. Wrap was just rolled together so as tried to lift it out of pack the lot fell out in the box so had to remake myself with a piece of tomato looked like from a cherry tomato 2 pieces of lettuce 1cm by 5cm and 2 bagons same size and enough sauce to fill a teaspoon absolutely no value worst food ever received. Asked for some sauce told you have to pay even though those eating in get free and in drive thru get free. Very surly staff didn't care 3 stood infront of me ignoring me when i asked for a bit of sauce. Worst ever

Just a good, standard McDonald's. Car park is tight though and let's just say people don't have patience in the car park but hey ho that's not McDonald's fault. A good McDonald's.

The restaurant itself is great,we ordered food and it came quite quick considering it was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon, the food was brilliant too. I won't use the facility again while it's car park is run by Met Parking Services, be careful where or how you park as I've had an absolute nightmare with them.

I’m not a fan of McDonald’s but the food was served reasonably quickly to the table, albeit one item short to start with and was edible and filling. The service, such as it is in these places now given that you have to order through a touch screen or app, was friendly enough. What astonished me though was the incredibly poorly planned layout of this site with access to Asda/petrol station and McDonalds sharing a single access off a busy main roads such that traffic was queuing over the roundabout and causing considerable congestion and in my opinion dangerous. This was further compounded by the drive through access going through the very small car park and restricting access to the already limited parking spaces. This is one to be avoided unless you are pretty desperate in my view.

Conveniently positioned on the return journey from Alton Towers to Nottingham this place is excellent to get something on the way home. Can be busy at times but otherwise everything else is as you would want it to be.

Sick of the regular occurance of asking for a breakfast wrap with no egg only for them to pay absolutely no attention every single time. It’s really not that hard.

I'm not a big fan of macdonalds so to me it was terrible. The service the state of the place the food. But I gave it a 2 star just for the fact of the milkshake being good and my kids like it

Nice McDonald's, the food was tasty and piping hot and fresh. Although it was very busy and limited parking space. Easily gets congested as it's a one-way in one way out. Good value on the mix and match deal 3 items for £3

They managed to get my order wrong twice in 2 visits. Once they forgot to put the burgers in and only noticed when I got home. Contacted customer services and they have failed to do anything. They couldnt even be arsed to respond just send the generic stock email back. Wouldnt recommend this branch as they cant do a rather simple task

Parking horrendous. Couldn't get out of the parking space as people going to the drive through kept stopping behind us.
