Mercure Hatfield Oak Hotel in Welwyn Hatfield

Outstanding location love this place

We were offered preferential rates for our wedding part in june at a local venue and the now the mercury hotel have rented the whole hotel out to a private company to house illegal migrants on behalf of the government. I will never support a mercure hotel chain for supporting illegal immigration.

Very nice hotel and very good communication from M25 and A1m. Hatfield station to this hotel about 7 munits by car , food in this hotel is quite good.

Had to change room 3 times as the heating didn't work. An oil filled radiator isn't good enough especially in this cold weather. Got a free drink because of this, should have been 2 drinks as there was 2 of us. Could do better!

A booking I made month ago has been cancelled with no reason given. I rang to find out and was told the whole place has been hired for the next 2 years. I'm significantly out of pocket now, as I now can't get to my non-refundable event in the area and all other hotels are already booked.
