Subway in Welwyn Hatfield

It was a regular everyday subway. Nothing different from rest of the subways out there. But the guy working there is really rude.

Worse subway, very dirty setup, when they’re adding salad options they lean into the sandwich with their body and top goes into the sandwich, never seen anything like it! They hardly toast the sandwich as they all come out soft and cheese is not melted. It’s a franchise and they need to obey with certain standards. What is wrong with this place and its management?!

We ordered a selection subs for our training day lunch, the food was exceptional! Arjun was so helpful when placing the order, making sure we were getting exactly what we wanted! Great service all round.

Friendly staff, good environment with good taste

I grabbed a 6 inch spiced plant patty sub at Subway, and it hit the spot. The bread was soft, and the sauce was flavorful. The staff worked quickly, and the place was tidy. Great value for a hearty meal

Very poor service from the guy on the till extremely rude. Dont know the name of the guy but had an an tatoo on his right front forearm. Not going back to this store

Subway has never been my favourite and it still disappoints the only good thing is their okay price range. The new menu with all the melts and that is rubbish i wouldn’t really recommend. At the end of the day they’re never overselling it’s a sub nothing less and def nothing more😒

Ordered 4 subs..all with cheese..didn't put cheese on 2 of them. This was bishops square..did better than the commons...last week..Ordered a breakwhich..didn't have any eggs, got 2 others ..toppins..wrong...que of 6 people only 1 person serving...this was lunchtime.

Rude staff and poor quality food

After ordering a sandwich, the server walked off and a fly crawled over my bread. I requested a new roll, to which he replied "I can swap it for you, but the flies probably been over all the other rolls anyway" He then put the used roll back into the bread store. Hot weather causes more flies, so Why isn't the bread door closed?And no covers over sandwich fillings? Is this the hygiene levels that subway represents?

When Subway finally offers a 100% vegan option and the staff is still uneducated about the food industry they work at... Had to mention twice I do not want cheese and when I was asked what sauce would I like I said the vegan aioli, which the sandwich has been designed to have on the menu the staff said they don't have but it but I can have mayo... Very poor understanding of food.

Sandwich cut unevenly (30/70) which is not an issue for adults but with kids this was a frustrating issue, not sure why it wasn't cut in half as standard. The tuna was also extremely salty, it needs to be checked by the team, shouldn't be sold that way

Worst subway I have ever been in. The main reason for a very low rating was due to the rude and very miserable female member of staff, also the tables had food all over them, but both members of staff clearly thought that it was more important chatting to each other than cleaning tables. Just to add that it was also very quiet when I went in. Almost forgot the fact that she didn't change her gloves before making my daughter's sub and she can't eat meat, when I mentioned it the young girl gave me a tut and made another sub

Instead of rolling eyes and sighs should've gone and wiped the tables, filthy seating area. Staff very unwelcoming

The Subway brand should be enough to warrant a great sub, but this Subway is terrible The staff literally man handle the food when stuffing in the add-ons . The seating area needs a wipe down and looks like it was cleaned first thing and hasn't been touched since then. Terrible...

Food was fine. Standard Subway. What was terrible was 4 members of staff involved in making one coffee and me having to ask 3 times for a cup of tea. Absolutely no idea what they were doing. Had to laugh in the end 😂.

Excellent place to visit to grab a quick snack with a wide choice of fillings to make your own 'Subway' sandwich with again a good choice of soft drinks to accompany your meal.

Three staff standing doing nothing. They need to wait 6 minutes until they serve people. I think they need to be told when to go to the toilet too.

This place felt soulless. The one staff member when spurred into action was robotic. As is typical, he seemed to disbelieve when I answered "No" to "Cheese and toasted?", asking again, "No cheese? No toasted?" To appease vegetarians Subway staff change gloves after handling meat. This didn't happen before a handful of lettuce was in my sandwich. The food itself was fine. Any port in a storm.

Once I ordered a chicken sub.. it was smelly. And some employees do not change gloves often. It's so difficult for vegetarian people.

Quick service, food done nicely. 2 stars missing as i said hi nice and loud and got ignored. Also no interaction, no serviettes and no receipts, or even a thanks and good bye!

Excellent customer service and polite staff, food was Yummy too.

Workers dont change their gloves after each customer! For a strict vegetarian its not right.

No Vegan Pattie available, although all the meat was. No refill machine just bottled drinks.

Only negative point no refill drinks in this shop but on asking the staff they said that this subway restaurant is in the retail side of the shopping center and the drinks machine has gas cylinders which are not allowed on the retail side of the galleria shopping center !!

A place where you find delicious sandwiches

They don't have a drink dispenser so you'll have to buy a bottle by default if you want a drink. Staff kept misunderstanding what I was asking for and seemed depressingly quiet. I'll be trying the other one across the road next time.

I like Subway. This was OK the staff need to smile more it instills confidence that whatever they serve you will be good.

Probably the worst subway ever. First they said they couldn't make a kids sandwich with brown bread only white. Secondly the lettuce was brown! Looked like it had been chopped a week ago. What skimpy management iceberg lettuce costs 40pence and would make about 30 sandwiches.

One of the best subway stores in Hatfield. They are very welcoming, The food quality is on point. Moreover there's a large space for sitting
