Miller and Carter in Coventry

Food was served hot, chips and steak dressings were wonderful, which is more than I can say for the Sirloin steak. The steak was 50% gristle & fat, chewy and awful. We informed the waitress who said she would talk to the chef. The chefs response was, it’s the luck of the draw, some steaks are good & others not so good. Not a great response when you’re paying £30 for the pleasure. We paid the bill & wont be returning. If you’re thinking of going for a steak, I hope your luck in the draw is better than mine!

Great food and service - Molly in particular was friendly and attentive!

Had a lovely meal with an amazing steak and sides. We were served by Lauren who was great and very attentive and friendly. The rest of the staff were also friendly and easy to talk to. Atmosphere here is great the service was fast and the options for food is incredible.

Another great experience at Miller and Carter Coventry. Food was excellent, we had the black Angus ribeye which was well worth the money! Rajan was extremely attentive, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you!

She was professional but friendly, attentive yet discreet, anticipated our needs and checked that everything was satisfactory with each course before leaving us to enjoy it. We have both worked in the food & beverage industry and are very much aware what constitutes excellent service, and we found it in Alexis. PS for the love of culinary excellence get a proofreader - you spelled steak wrong in the list of food recommendations below. A stake is what Buffy uses to kill vampires.

No atmosphere, cold, and expensive food. Had one drink and left for Ginger Orange up the road . Will not be returning.

The excellent service and warm welcome we received when we arrived at the restaurant was just the start to what turned out to be a most enjoyable experience. The waiting staff were superb with the young man who brought the food to our table, being particularly courteous, friendly and helpful in assisting with what we might need with our meal. Most awful atmosphere! Would give them 0 if I could! We visited here on Christmas Day. From the moment me and my family walked in the lady who greeted us was rude and I knew we were going to have problems! I will never ever visit this restaurant again!!!! We didn’t even get as far as having our mai course because we were asked to leave because the staff there were not willing to accommodate us at all and asked us to leave!!!! Very racist staff!

Christmas Lunch was amazing. Highly recommended.The only issue was the host lady telling us they needed the table back when we’d been waiting 10 minutes for the bill!

A friendly welcome, introduced to our server, drinks came quickly, ordered and questions about items on the menu were answered and explained fully and confidently by Molly. Steaks were excellent and both were cooked exactly to our liking. Didn’t get (understand) the wedge of lettuce, would have preferred seasonal vegetables. A very good first experience.
