MashaAllah, food was yummy,especially chicken kadhai and lamb kadhai. Also, in starters, lamb chops were amazing. It was testy as well as soft to chew. Overall, we 33 people enjoyed. I personally recommend eating at this place. "Paisa wasool"

I recently visited Pamir, and I must say it was an exceptional dining experience!

Service has now become a joke, ordered chips and they didn't arrive, asked waiter I'd food is okay for 3 people he said yes, only if you were two have 2 small chunks of meat, then when questioned replied it depends how much each person eats, ordered fries said two minutes didn't turn up. The waiter seemed confused and edgy Went again, place is going downhill and nothing looks hygeinic, walked out without purchasing

Ordered jug of mango lassi and 3-4 person meat platter. Food took 45 minutes to arrive so was looking forward to something amazing. Meat was poor quality, very chewy, lots of fat and not great in taste. Chips arrived 15 minutes before rest of the food, chips were cold by the time platter arrived. Waiter told us to be careful table is wobbly, checked and the table top was broken from the base, not great. Had no glass to drink mango lassi from, gave us a couple of small white disposable cups, not quite fine dining. Finally cash only, so had to go find nearby ATM, not my idea of a good dining experience, wouldn't visit again.

One of the worst restaurants in Coventry, The hygiene is very bad and the place is not clean at all. Me and my family had food poisoning after we had lamb biryani and chicken curry. I will never order anything from this place.. 👎👎👎👎

Lovely authentic food, reasonably priced and very tasty. Takes up to an hour for fresh karahi to be made. Big portions and enough for all. Great service from usman. They have an area for prayers too. (but please try and maintain the cleanliness of toilets looks bad on your restaurant!)

Food used to be tasty (not anymore). Service as usuall 3rd class. Waiters are pathetic, tables dirty, and place is mostly crowded. Dont waste money and time here. Spend a few more pounds on petrol and try B'ham. Trust me I am from Peshawar and I know what actuall afghani/pathaan taste is. Its not what you would get here in Pamir.

Terrible food kebabs were not well cooked lamb karahi was supposed to be freshly prepared but tasted like it was boiled and ready made before cooking As soon as we finished eating they told us to leave Not worth the effort to go and eat there AVOID

We ordered Charsi lamb karahi, chapli kebab and cod fish grill , naan and in dessert kheer. Everything was great and the service was very good...we were really happy with food and their service. We recommend to everyone.

The food they serve is okay but the staff they have is extremely unwelcoming and disrespectful. We had a family visit and the misbehaved with females, trying to be smart. We stopped going there because they don’t know how to treat customers and their behaviour could escalate things easily.

Very friendly waiters thx for the good service

Food was absolutely basic or even underpar and honestly overpriced. Service was horrendous, waiters seem uninterested and had us sat down for 20 minutes before talking to us with noone else in the restaurant. Talking to you when on another mobile phone call is so rude. I'd be embarrassed if I was the owner of this establishment. CLEAN THE PLACE! YOU HAVE ENOUGH LAZY WAITERS! Huge potential but poorly run. Better places to eat than this. P.s Cash only nonsense needs to go.

Food was decent, but they were sold out of most the things on the menu. Good portion size, staff were friendly enough. Restaurant could do with a spring clean and refurb.

If you want to have a real asian , afghani , indian taste then you must come down here . Specially staff is really amazing, kind very friendly. I never feel ocward really they make us feel like we are sitting at home ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Food was average. Chicken shish was ok. The lamb shish wasn't cooked right. All the food was very bland like Lebanese style. The decor was awful. Really dirty restaurant. Toilets are dreadful. It does have a place for men to pray, but not women friendly. Tried it once, wouldn't go again.

I have been dining in and taking out food from pamir for a couple of years now. My family and I always enjoy their food (a little over priced but food is enjoyable ) service hasn’t disappointed so far so good mashallah I recommend for sure we had kabuli pilou lamb chops kofta and rice and a very colourful salad… thank you again

Been there few times before and food was lovely..this time around we made a mind never again..almost everything was unavaialable and other stuff we needed long wait,watever we got was old and no tasts..they need to improve

I had an amazing experience at Pamir Restaurant The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was outstanding. The food was the star of the show salad was bursting with flavour. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience! Will definitely be back

Place was not clean, they didnt clean under our table & the place looked run down. The Lamb karahi lacked flavour & was a little too oily. The naan breads were nice. The mix Shish with rice was good. The mix grill some of it was good, but the meat was a little too tough & unfortunately kofte lacked flavour. Kids enjoyed the burgers. Overall The Price wasn't so bad, the service was good & the food arrived ontime.

Went for dinner and was shown a table. Asked to vacate a few mins later saying someone else reserved it. Took ages to get our order and the waiters were cold. We ordered lamb and chicken shish. Chicken was okay and pulao rice was good. Lamb was very tough and chewy. Chicken wings were too salty. Lassi was good. Pretty sure wont return it recommend it to anyone.

The food 🍱 was brilliant 🤩 specially Charsi karahi and mix grill. Sadly chapli kebabs were not available. We really enjoyed the food which we ordered. Can do with the bit of service and seating to be bit more comfortable.

I always get a good experience. Food is very delicious, ambience amazing, their own parking for customers. The only thing is, if you are thinking of ordering karahi, then make sure to order it on call. Because it can take up to 45 minutes to get it.

Abusive staff member. Lack of courtesy to deal with the customers. Thankfully the owner came down and apologized on our repeated request.

Staff are rude at times when dealing with customers

I visited Pamir four times, and order Uzbeki Palao every time. I would rate it 4/5. Quantity is good but price is high. Atmosphere and cleanliness is not upto the mark. They should work on it. They dont accept Card which is the biggest issue

Parking is available around the back. The prices are reasonable. Customer service is reasonable. Suitable for fast food 😋. Also, private booths are available for families . It's worth trying out.

Never ever use this restaurant in your lives. I found metal in my order and they could not care less refused to do anything to make fix the dangerous situation. I have kids also so it was a great danger. They also avoid tax and are cash only,I will never use this restaurant again and stop being a regular customer here as the second an issue happened they blame it on you and could not care less to fix it. Dangerous restaurant and I will be reporting this further to other agencies.

I took my family to this restaurant for a special occasion (my birthday) and it did not disappoint. The service was exceptional, our server went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. This place is amazing, if you want authentic, great tasting food then you won't be Disappointed. We drive from Birmingham once a week to get our special grill kebab. The food is always consistent, fresh and so tasty. The kabli pilau has to be the best we've had. Don't hesitate to give this place a try 👍😊

Kabli pulao was the best. Nice big portion, enough for 3 people. Mixed grill was also good. We actually went for lamb karahi but we were told that its only made to order so need to order an hour in advance. Was quite busy on a Friday and food running out quickly. Chapal kabab also good. First time here for me, run down area but has it's own car park which is good as was worried my car would be stolen based on the shady characters all hanging out near the restaurant. We ordered a chicken karahi and was told it will take 45 mins to cook, we said happy to wait and then the waiter came and said a lamb karahi order had been cancelled and we can have that instead, I said let's do it. But it wasn't the standard Lahori karahi but charsi (salt and green peppers) not really my ideal taste but went for it. The sauces that came with the salads were really good (red chutney and yogurt based sauce) these were the highlights! I was disappointed with the karahi the meat was soft but very high in fat and mainly bones left as rest had dissolved into the source. We ordered two naans but would recommend just one as they are huge! Also ordered seekh kebabs which came with some pretty boring rice to be honest and the kebabs were nothing amazing.the table water came in nice bottle and was very cold and nice. Cash only so lucky my friend had cash as I didn't. Overall not a bad experience but I personally wouldn't come here again.

Was looking forward to having their karahi, had this before but when tried ordering the impression that the waiter gave they couldnt be bothered taking order for it claiming any karahi will take over an hour to make , place wasnt busy either. I have ate from many karahi places normally take between 30 to 40 min to make. Was dissapointed at there lack of commitment to their own menu, especially being afghan and karahi being the national dish. At the end left without ordering.

Don’t accept card less or account transfer payments. Had to return without food. They asked me to go and take cash from cash machine but I use Apple Pay and don’t use cards. Absolutely gutted.

I recently dined at Pamir Restaurant and unfortunately had a bad experience. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lacking fresh air, which made the dining experience quite uncomfortable. I ordered the lamb bhunna, chicken jalfarezi, and chapli kebabs. The lamb dish had a noticeable odour, which was off-putting. The chicken jalfarezi was surprisingly tasteless, lacking any depth of flavour. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I have had. In conclusion, I would not recommend Pamir Restaurant based on my formal dining experience.

The food is well prepared and delicious, the prices are good for what you get, I highly recommend trying the grilled ribs and the mango lassi, the service is also good, the ambiance of the place is normal.. The place is for eating only and not for having a good time

Called in Monday evening 6th May, I’ve been before but this was my wife’s first visit. First off the service was excellent, Ruhan served us, we tried Houmous, Chicken Shish, Spicy Chicken Korma and an Afghan Nan. The food was excellent, quick to our table, hot and very tasty, the Afghan Nan was almost as big as the table… If you want posh or dim lit ambience this isn’t it, if you want wholesome tasty food served by friendly efficient staff in a busy premises ( one part is where they serve takeaway) then this is it. Would I go again? Absolutely, next time we’ll try the Fresh Charsi Karahi but this needs you to phone them first as it takes an hour to prepare…. Recommended!

One of the best food in town amazing taste and always fresh

The best Afghani cousine. Buys a lot of time for service, when I got my meal on table I forgot everything and enjoyed every bit of the meal.

We tried the Kabuli Pilau, the lamb chops and the chapal kebab. Everything was very well cooked and tasted great. This is the 3rd time eating here and I have always enjoyed it. We came in on a Saturday evening and it was very busy, 15 min wait for a table was well worth. Definitely one to try out if you enjoy Afghani cuisine.

Hi, The burgers 🍔 for my kids were out of this world. But for me and my husband. The stuff they forgot to order our food and we were waiting for 1 and 30 hours and we had to leave the place. Because our food were never on the grill after asking them. It was a shame because they really do have do have good testing food. For that reason, I gave 3 stars

Horrible food and such a rude service from the restaurant. Went there and ordered 2 chicken curry , 3 chicken biryani, and chapli kebab took 1 hour and half and wasn’t even cooked well. Biryani was from the previous night and smelled bad had to throw it out and no one touched the curry. Ended up ordering pizza later on as the food was completely disgusting 😑

The food is tasty and the price is reasonable. The service is not as good. Be careful if you go on a busy day. They ask my family to leave as they have other customer waiting to use the table. We were 8 and and group of about 13 people coming along. I thinks that’s a lack of respect and consideration. There were more tables empty, but they ask us to leave as we had finish our dinner. It was on Mother’s Day. We ask to talk with the manager and he did not showed up.

Absolute worst service ever. If you don't believe me, go and try it. Wait 1 hour for your food, then 1 hour for the plates, then just a partial order will arrive. The remaining order would arrive on your way out following starvation and exhaustion from begging the waiters for the remaining food. Totally disorganised!

This is easily one of my favourite desi restaurants in the country. Quality of food is always 10/10. Staff is friendly. Parking available behind the restaurant. Must-visit if you like Pakistani food. Oh, they only take cash. No cards. But there's an ATM machine next door.

Food is OK. The pilau with the mixed grill was so flavoursome. The chicken biryani was nice, too. The mixed grill was dry and the shish kebab was quite salty. Service in this place is non-existent. I've been a few times before, and it seems to get worse each time. It took 20mims for the "waiter" to bring over the menu. We ordered right away, so to not waste anymore time. Once the food was bought out (which came out quickly-great!), we couldn't get his attention again. We need more drinks but couldn't get any until the end of the meal. He didn't once ask if we needed anything, didn't clear the empty dishes. They stayed on the table until we left.
