Miller & Carter Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire

My first time at Miller & Carter and I must say I was very surprised how things were.... Clean, welcoming and staff were professional and knowledgeable.... Parking was good.

Had the Sunday Lunch sharing board with the wife. Not cheap but absolutely delicious. Well worth it for a special occasion.

We came for a meal to celebrate my son’s birthday, overall a very disappointing experience, lack of attention from server. We had no forks for main course no sight of server had to take them from a nearby table, steak was cold sauce warm 1 portion of fries cold and 1 hot, onion loaf burnt on underside waitress didn’t come and ask if ever think was ok as i would of pointed these problems out so we proceeded to carry on eating as my sons meal was ok. She has asked if it was a special occasion but this was not recognised either. We waited 20 mins after finishing to ask for the bill our waitress was stood talking to another table and I couldn’t get her attention so we went to the entrance to pay. I was then taken into the bar to pay it had to be corrected as wed had rare treats menu the girl did ask if everything was ok and i told her about our disappointment she said she would pass it onto her manager and id get a call (ive heard nothing 5 days later) We did intend to visit again before the end of the month but wont. We’ve been several times before and had a lovely experience sadly this one wasn’t the case.

Absolutely amazing night and lovely server called Andrew, he made the night even more special, celebrating an engagement with a special detail to desert! Can’t wait to come back again!

We had an amazing meal at Miller and Carter Scunthorpe. The food was lovely, there was a good atmosphere and service by Andy was great. We even got a complimentary treat at the end as we were celebrating our anniversary.

A really middling experience - The food was very much on the 'ok' side. Nothing where I could really complain but nothing all that special or worth the money being asked for. What was worse though was the service. Frequent mistakes throughout the meal with missed items, wrong things being brought to the table and multiple servers who didn't seem to know what the other one was doing. A bit of a palava.

Great staff and food. Amazing selection of gluten free options! One of the best steaks I've had in a restaurant and it was so nice to have a selection of sauces and gf desserts available.

Worth a visit 👍 had to wait a while to get served but it was busy, staff were helpful and happy to make some changes to what we asked for, reasonably priced for what you get and food was hot, all round a good visit and would go again but maybe book in advance so the wait wouldn’t be as long

Andrew was the best waiter because he looked after us throughout the night and nothing was too much for him, his service was 10/10 and he kept the drinks flowing on New Year’s Eve

Me and my partner went on a date together and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our waitress Rebecca was fantastic with informing us about the dishes too.

Service was slower towards the end, food was alright except portions were tiny and scallops were overcooked. Overpriced.

A really good time had by all , big family get together for Boxing Day, the staff where excellent looked after us like we were royalty , couldn't leave thank our table waiters GAIL absolutely fantastic with a great sense of humour a real credit to our local Miller and Carter steak house at Bottesford, will recommend to all our other friends who hasn't visited yet

We had Caitlin as our waitress, she was amazing. She was very helpful and kind, got all of our orders correct and she was extremely welcoming. I hope to have her as my waitress again in future. She even laughed at all the bad jokes that my uncle dave made. The food was gorgeous and yummy.

My wife and I went there today (10/12/24) as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. We recieved great service from Georgina and we're really impressed by the quality of the food. This was our first time going there but based on our experience today it definitely won't be the last.I would definitely recommend Miller and Carter to people.

Brilliant lunch time experience - Served by Grace, very polite, friendly and accommodating. Asked about any intolerances or special requests before sitting down. Manager on service was great too, as well as the additional serving staff that helped bring food and drinks. Food was stunning, had items from the Christmas menu, would highly recommend! The cocktails were also very good, really enjoyed the Spiced Apple Cooler!

The restaurant was very tastefully decorated for Christmas. Inside was very warm and welcoming. The food was fresh, looked very appetising and was very tasty,

My sons first visit to miller amd carter for his 17th birthday amd my mums birthday. He hasn't stopped talking about it! We had a great night and the food was great! (Except my mums steak was too well cooked for her but she's too polite to complain). My son has just started working and has said he's going to save a weeks wage to take us again in December. He originally wanted to go to nandos but think we have converted him.

We visited the restaurant for my dad’s birthday and it was made to feel incredibly special from the moment we walked in. The table, surroundings and decor were clean and modern - fitting the luxurious ambiance of the establishment. Our server, Lillian, was friendly, welcoming and polite. She also accommodated all of our special requests such as; asking for elements of the dishes to be removed and serving us a side as a main - which made us feel very comfortable and catered for. To add, she made sure to visit our table regularly to check we were happy with our meals and that we had no concerns with the food. As a table, we enjoyed three mains, three desserts, two mock tails and a beer, all of which were cooked beautifully and served professionally. I give my highest compliments to the chefs working in the kitchen for such delectable meals - for a very picky eater, I found every element of my meal delightful. To finish our celebratory meal, my dad’s dessert was served with a ‘Happy Birthday’ message and candle which he was incredibly grateful for. I will definitely be visiting again and will be suggesting that other do too. I cannot thank the staff enough for such a wonderful evening.

Fantastic service from Lolanta. She is always professional , very friendly and helpful. We have returned many times and hope to be served by Lolanta. Although all your staff are very good and friendly.

It was absolutely lovely it was the 1st time I had been there this evening

Went for a cheeky late lunch and went for the lunchtime menu. We had one calamari and one sticky chicken bites. The bites were nice but the calamari was over-cooked and too tough. We both went for the filet mignon tiny steak with salad. The onion loaf was nice, crunchy and soft at the same time. The steaks were lovely, cooked well and very tasty. We had peppercorn and red wine sauces and both were good with the peppercorn being our favourite. The salad was fresh and unusual but we shall have that again. Drinks were a large Sauvignon Blanc and a pint of Pepsi Max. Staff were brilliant, cost £70 including 10% tip.

Fantastic place ..food brilliant and the young girl serving us was so polite and a real lovely young lady a credit to her parents..the happy birthday message on my partners plate was a wonderful little unexpected touch a little thing that makes all so much difference..looking forward to going back next time am in scunthorpe..food as good as some so called top restaurants...I don't tip a ten pound note very often but the young lady deserved it

Millers and Carter is a great Scunthorpe restaurant. Very clean establishment and good atmospheric surroundings. The food was absolutely beautiful. Big massive shout out to Grace whose hospitality and service between meal courses was spot on. Well Done 👏👏👌👍. 5 star visit .

We were greeted by Matt front of house who was really friendly and welcoming. Matt showed us to our table and informed us that Grace would be looking after us. Grace was lovely, very attentive and was soon taking our drinks orders giving us a little time to peruse the menu. Everything we ordered was thoroughly delicious and we really enjoyed our late afternoon impromptu visit. The restaurant was busy but did not phase the staff at all .. excellent service .. thank you

Food is great, service is better, overall, definitely worth a visit. Only issue is the music coming from the kitchen and the music in the restaurant are not the same and combined it sounds terrible, really ruined a good meal. Andrew looked after us great.

My wife and i visited the Scunthorpe Miller and Carter on the 1st November. The food was very nice, we both stressed to each other how lovely the food was. The ambiance is really nice 👌 too. Excellent food, which goes without saying, let down by the horrendously slow service in a restaurant that wasn't that busy. Two and half hours for a 3 course meal with members of staff stood around chatting, unaware of customers needs.
