Mings Take Away in Ealing

Wasn’t feeling well so I had ordered some food online just to be told 20 minutes later that the “driver says it’s too far” although they have delivered to my area before.Then they told me it would take 3-5 days for a refund being already sick and hungry i came all the way there to collect my food very disappointed that im paying for delivery for NO DELIVERY.

Had really tasty pork belly, tofu cashew nuts, and wontons. The big pot of sauce that it came with was really appreciated!

In my opinion, Mings take away in Acton is one of, if not the best chinese food in London. Everytime I eat chinese anywhere else i’m always saying “is it better than Mings?” a lot of the time, it isn’t. To be honest, the only thing missing is the option to dine in. My go too meal is sweet and sour chicken with plain chow mein noodles, and a side of dry ribs with a little chilli and spring onions; my other go to is the beef. These guys have been running mings for as long as i’ve lived in Acton and have evolved with the times. If your looking for good chinese food worth your money, this is your place!

Really disappointing this time. Enjoyed my last Mings but this time feeling terrible after eating it.

Good food, no complaints, just slightly surprised that a bag of prawn crackers was over £4.

Delivery driver stole my food. Restaurant was zero help. Do not use.

the delivery driver stole my food and when i called the place to get either a refund, or my food, they were of ZERO help. strongly recommend avoiding this place

wrong order, restaurant called multiple times to ask what was happening with driver. total shambles, when correct order arrived new delivery driver was very nice, ensured correct order was received and apologised despite having anything to do with initial error.

Just ordered 2 spring rolls Tey were awful about 4 weeks ago had noodles stone cold

the food was so-so, but the delivery was very fast

I ordered the Seafood Special Fried Rice for one, and the quality & delivery were both absolutely fine. However, including delivery & service charge it cost £19.92 for a standard size container of rice commensurate with that of any normal restaurant. That was it: a single portion of rice for nearly £20. No bigger or better than a side-order of rice from any other restaurant. Astonishingly disappointing.

Pretty good. it was further away from me than I realised but delivery was pretty prompt. The meal for was quite simple but good vale for money. Portion size deceptively large. Maybe not the place for a special celebration but a solid choice for an everyday takeaway

Very tasty but it was more like an ONION CHOW MEIN than chicken. It was not worth the £9.90. Delivered on time.

Took almost an hour to deliver on a Wednesday night. We asked for no onions because of allergy, The sweet and sour fish came with onions. Might as murder us.

Deeply disappointed. Ordered crispy pork that was basically lumps of fat with the top of it crispy, not much pork to talk off. My dog and cat enjoyed the fat. The noodles were okish but had large bits of uncooked onion. So I ended up with a bowl of noodles that cost me almost £18.00. I’m angry with myself for ordering.

The food is great, a bit spicy. I was definitely disappointed with the amount of food vs the price (I.E. £6.80 for a small tub of egg fried rice, outrageous)

Tough, bland greasy ribs, dry chicken and overcooked prawns in the not-so-special fried rice. The Ho Lan veg was ok but the Szechuan chicken lacked depth of flavour. I wouldn’t order again from here. For the price, I would expect a much better quality and flavour.

The salt and pepper shredded chicken is a bit tricky to be fair. It felt like the leftovers from chicken used in other foods. Also, in terms of pepper, it was finger chillies deep fried and salted. It couldn't have been worse. And fried rice, just a tiny bit better to be fair.

Great service from restaurant and delivery! However the food was not good! I’ve had Singapore style noodles from other places for £5.90 that tasted amazing! Yet in here, it was gross and I paid £12! Will not be ordering from here.

Bought Duck fried rice, £9.70, 1st time eating here, so opened container there was not much Duck, told the guy who served me, who is standing in front of me the whole time, he started shaking his head, well we measure portions, said I wasn't Happy, he offered me a refund...then said no refund on card! Excuse me!!, I had to call the police..go round the counter where 3 men were shouting at me, I stood my ground refuse to move then the owner came, told him all, he reluctantly gave me back my money while cursing me out his shop. Awful service

Found a hair in my delivery - the restaurant said sorry but there was nothing they could do they referred me to deliveroo who said there was nothing they could do. Have a photo of rather long hair

Extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. I ordered a large special fried rice for £11.30. At that price I was expecting it to be special but it contained a few pieces of shredded chicken and a few teeeny tiny shrimps. Beef ho fun was tasteless but very oily and insanely expensive at £13.20. Schezuan beef was not at all schezuan in flavour, the sauce was a thick cornstarch slurry with some chilli flakes. In all very disappointing!

Chicken balls were great, chicken in black bean was bland which at this price point isn't ok. Probably wouldn't order again.

Extremely unhappy with the service. I ordered via just eat for home delivery which they charged me delivery as well as additional service charge which was ridiculous. On top of that I got a call from the restaurant that they can't deliver to the flat and have to come down and collect it. I was shocked to hear this when they already charged me double for delivery and service charge and they expect me to come down and collect it ???????. Finally they said to cancel it via just eat which was another hassle and that guy who picked up the phone from Ming was so rude and teaching me that he does not own just eat and all that non sense. I would rather give no star at all and extremely unhappy to make a customer journey such a hassle, on top of that being rude!!!!

Extremely unhappy. Charged me double for delivery as well as service charge. Restaurant called me and said they can't deliver to my apartment and have to come down. Finally told me to cancel the order which I was having problem to cancel with just eat. When I ask for help, the person who picked up the phone from Ming was so rude and said he does not own just eat, such utter bad experience and it's so funny that it stated delivered when it never came and inform just eat about it which they said it will take 48hrs to resolve. Delivery was super duper fast. Crab Claws were great, Pineapple Fritters were a huge portion & fantastic - pieces of pineapple dipped in breading covered in a sweet maple/golden syrup sauce. Satay Rice with Beef was ok, the egg rice was quite dry & the satay sauce had a spice kick I didn't enjoy that much with no peanut taste whatsoever, though good amount of vegetables & beef slices.

after comparing prices with the restaurant's original prices i have noticed that difference is quite big. how do I send screen shots of price shown on ming's take away website

I would consider it average American Chinese food if I am in Toronto, Canada, but in London, this is definitely above average. Only complaint is there is no tofu in hot and sour soup. Hot and sour soup is just average but still reached my standard (lowered a lot since moved to London....). Lemon children, beef with Chinese leaf in oyster sauce and pork with garlic and green onion are alright. Ordered from ubereat, fast and reliable delivery. Don't understand the low ratings. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Update: Gave 5 stars but need to knock off a few stars as most recent purchase has hair and a small piece of metal in it.....

Poor and expensive, had a call from the restaurant to come out to pick up the food in 5 min ,because they don't do door delivery I'm was waiting 15 min in the rain ,I try to call thei don't pick it up ,souse is missing ,food test old ,first delivery I heard don't delivery on the door ,0 stars

The delivery driver refused to come inside the block of flats, telling me to meet him outside. It was late at night, there is no reason I would like to go outside and start looking for my delivery when I expected to have the food delivered. Each week, I usually get things delivered I was contactable by phone and spoke with the driver but he said he wouldnt come into the flats. There is a lift. He eventually agreed only when I said he should return the food.

my family have been ordering chinese here for as long as i can remember, and for good reason! the food is great, can't be beat by anywhere else. my favourite dishes have got to be the chicken chow mein and vegetable fried rice (water chestnuts are so good!), flavours are always on point. a trusty, good quality chinese takeaway place
