Mr Pretzels in Gateshead

Yet again shocking service waiting nearly 20 minutes for cold pretzel bites and they got the order wrong, staff don't give a s**t and are stroppy and rude.

Not acceptable, we waited 32 minutes for pretzel bites, then when eventually they came they were cold and greasy disgusting

I bought a cinnamon pretzel for my niece, and it was completely burnt at the bottom. I took it straight back only to have it replaced with another burnt one, and was told they have to be in order for them to be cooked properly. All you could taste was burnt pretzel, absolutely awful!!

My son wanted pretzel bites but they wouldn't make them as they had surplus pretzels already made standing on the back shelf, after scowling at us and telling us he could only have a ordinary pretzel we were then served with a cold greasy pretzel from the back shelf. Will not be going back

My sister ordered pretzel bites but they didn't want to make them so told her to just have the sticks instead but my sister said she'd like the bites still. They said it would take 10 mins but then tried to force her to take pretzel sticks 2 mins later. They raised their voice at her and tried to tell her she'd ordered sticks when she didn't and when I told them not to speak to my sister like that they then started laughing, pointing and the main lady who has always been rude to us when we've bought from there just started texting on her phone. They then gave us the correct order 5 mins later but she shoved them at us then she started smirking... like ??? this is very odd and unprofessional behaviour, please sort out the terrible customer service from your staff so customers aren't left upset and confused after trying to get a snack.

Having lived im Germany for over 10 years, I know a thing or two about pretzels: 1. They are baked not fried. 2. They have a bread-like consistency not like dough. 3. They are inherently dry not soggy. 4. They are freshly prepared and baked not processed. 5. They are dipped in a lye solution prior to baking not grease/oil/fat. Do not waste your money here - you will be disappointed!

It was a very nice ham pretzel. The service was very good and it was very nice and we would go there again
