Nandos Harrogate was great. Clean and efficient. Highly recommend. Service was exceptional and food was good.

It has been several years since my last Nando experience. I had a grilled chicken burger with peri peri chips and Mac' n' cheese. Not too busy tonight due to weather conditions.

Service and food was good, Leo was our waiter and was very attentive and polite.

We have visited nanods first time and it was wonderfull experience and the staff was very polite and nice receiving we have been served by varun he treated very well especially we r very impressed for chicken liver starter

Staff were lovely and with a vibrant atmosphere. However, since its a chicken restaurant you would think they knew how to cook chicken! 3 meals all over cooked. how do you over cook a salad ? Then, smoother it is ceaser salad dressing to hide it!! My husband had the double chicken breast that was that over cooked it looked like one breast. Safe to say will be sticking to manjaros as much tastier and cheaper

We had lunch at Nando’s today, and everything including the food/staff/price/atmosphere was Amazing. It’s the only place we’ve ever visited, thats a super relaxing/chilled atmosphere (every time!) The staff can’t be anymore friendly or helpful. The whole place is always spotlessly clean. The food is always fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. It’s the only food place we thoroughly enjoy, visiting .

Seated practically sandwiched elbow to elbow with other people, ordered food, and then watched how half the staff were just walking around talking to each other & giggling while food stacked up on the counter. I watched my food sit there for about 6 minutes before anyone decided to bring it to our table. The chicken, which we spent 15 pounds on, was tiny & dry. The sides were nice.

Dined in twice with 2 friends and both times we were treated to excellent food with decent prices and fantastic service from Natalie - truly a credit to the team. She was so friendly and gave us such a laugh, and making sure we were enjoying the food and having a good time. We also noticed how hard she was working both nights and tidying up after who we think mightve been the manager - she deserves a payrise! Delicious food and memorable service, big shout out to Naty!

We waited over an hour for our meal today (mains only) and when it eventually came, only half the table were given their food. When the remaining party got their food, one of our party had already finished their burger meal as it came in dribs and drabs. Also an extremely unpleasant sewage smell near the stairs and bar area. More than one of our party mentioned the stench.. its enough to put anyone off their food and makes me question the hygiene of the place. The pipes/toilets 100% need a check up to find the source of the pong! Nice food, let down by poor and long service in what is essentially a fast food chain restaurant. The service in York and other venues we've experienced has been much more efficient.

The staff lwft our food out for over 10 minutes befire serving it even though it wasn't busy at all. They also mislabeled the spicy-levels of our food.

We visited on Saturday 28th September around 7:30pm and was served briefly by a young lady called Danielle. She only cleared our plates and checked on our meal but she was so positive, polite and lovely. Thank you :)

Ola the manager delivered a very nice customer service, making sure everything is okay in our table, surprised us with cake for the birthday celebrant.

It was 3/4 empty in evening when we came, so assumed it might be quiet - couldn't have been more wrong. Five minutes after getting settled there was loud banging and clattering from the back. Looking round, a couple staff had long poles and were whacking some metal panels up by the ceiling - only lasted a couple minutes. While I didn't care much for the music, the kitchen staff clearly didn't either, so every time the flap opened, the rock music they had on back there drowned out the calypso style music played out front - if they had put rock throughout it would have made more sense. When the meal came, the waitress brought out an incorrect order. My partner said "we asked for coleslaw, not corn" the waitress didn't apologise, or say a word - just turned away and reapeared 2 minutes later with the correct food. Other than that, the food itself was what you'd expect from nandos, and the rustic/wood/metal/incandescent lighting was otherwise a reasonable experience, but I won't be back, and wouldn't recommend it unless you're desperate and out of options.

I loved Nandos in Harrogate we always eat here with my whole family. But today I was very disappointed. My order came late because they didn’t check the receipt properly. The chicken was burned and very dried. The manager needs more training on how to handle these issues. I lost my appetite when I had to wait for the missing order so some of our food was already cold. It’s my daughter's birthday and we are 13 at one long table. However, we have lovely Harry to always check us and a very hard-working person.

First time ever in Nando's, great service loved the food. Hot spice chicken thighs, really tasty.

After an interesting walk around Mother Shipton's Cave complex, we were left frustrated at trying to park in Knaresborough. Instead, we drove to Harrogate and headed to Nandos. Food was worth the extra trip and the Pasteis de nata were dreamy

Ordered for the first time here. Chicken, peri peri fries and mac and cheese. Not so much impressed with the chicken but mac and cheese is a must try here.

Food was delicious, staff were kind, got food very quickly and although they missed off the lettuce on my burger they very quickly got it sorted out. The toilets were out of use so only disabled toilet was available, and the door appeared to have locked itself so could not use it. Probably a very temporary issue

Very bad! I would never go back. I love Nando’s but this one is so bad. If you order mild or extra hot it does not make a difference. Toilets disgusting as well. Staff are so rude - this review is based on my last 2 visits. Friends all say the same!!

Not very clean, food a bit hit and miss- not consistently tasty. Update: Still not clean at all. There's a horrid stench by the water/cutlery area. I won't be going again after today!

Great Nando’s, food was fresh and good and Olivia was fantastic at serving and made the experience great. Would recommend and she is a credit to the business!

Service was terrible, the waitress 'serving' our table was appalling, unfriendly doesn't even come close...shouldn't be in any sort of customer facing role.ordered via the app, drinks were slammed down on the table without even looking at us. I wanted a glass of water so politely requested an empty glass as you cannot request this on the app. She made an angry gesture and stormed off and returned a few minutes later slamming it on front of me. Food was then a 40min wait ( which we didn't complain about, expected a wait on a Saturday eve) when it came it was again thrown at us. No check back on the food, although she did storm past and pull the flag from the table. Nandos has always been a relaxed, pleasant and friendly experience..until now. Highly doubt we will ever return.

So came in on my own. Was sat in a far corner by my self. No drinks after I paid for 2 large wines. 10mins after my food came out and after asking laods of people where My drinks were I got them. I was also asked if I'd paid for the drinks! Its dead in here. Absolutely a joke. Order number #05b3f6

Left stood waiting to be seated whilst staff chatted. Place was cold. Food was cold and such small portions for a lot of money. Won't be going back.

I LOVE nandos but this one isn’t the best. The actual restaurant is ok (except if you are sat near the delivery window) but the service is never great. It’s common to see people waiting ages and the usual thing is free chips all around, or refunds if you are all chipped out. I’d love to give it four stars but we have had too many average meals here for that. They even struggle when it’s not busy, I’m not sure why. Edit: I reviewed this restaurant a while back and in that time it’s improved slightly. I think they have seen some of the negative reviews and taken action. I haven’t waited a long time to be served for months

Usually nandos are efficient and you know what you are getting ....not this time...waited almost 45 mins for our food then my burger was stone cold they took it away and replaced 20 mins later by that time my daughter had finished her meal again it was cold and inedible so just ate the Fry's and peas ..the buns the burgers are in need toasting as they are cold and doughy and the veggie burger was cold mush well below par..we were compensated with a drink and a refund on a gift card but still a very poor dining experience,also felt very sorry for the young staff who seemed to be treated a little disrespectfully by management not pleasant to see .. improvement needed at this branch for sure ,I feel they are concentrating too much on deliveries and not in restaurant customer service

We enjoyed the food and staff were helpful and nice. The platter meals were not available, but the alternatives we had were still filling. A few minutes walk from our hotel, so it's all good.

It can’t be, surely not, is it? Have I found the best Nando’s in the UK?? The staff cared, the chicken was incredible and moist, fries not crunchy, garlic bread not nuked.. staff interactions, not one spotty teenage member of staff anywhere… clean environment…. It was an emotional experience!

Overhyped, sauces were actually just plain bad tasting(acidy?) and we had to Google how to use them which is bad design. butterfly burger was acceptable didn't like the bread too much (slightly chewy/hard) , music was jarring definitely ruined the atmosphere a bit, broccoli was awful, rice was 100% microwaved, chips had a nice seasoning actually so that's a plus, corn on the cob was flavourless. Overall the experience was a lil positive and it was worth trying nandos once but probably never again.

Had to wait a long time for our food, panicking a bit due to my daughter having Diabetes at she was going low..

Music very loud no atmosphere. The food came cold and the chicken was dry and was like rubber. Sorry would never go back on my experience.

Today I had my first Nando’s wrap. I was excited as the chicken is lovely. I asked for mushrooms to be put in it and I deeply regret this choice I made. I took my first bite and I was met with a huge, slimy chunk of mushroom which made me feel like projectile vomiting. It was horrendous. It looked like a slug and the texture was as you can imagine, awful. It has now given me a phobia and I feel like throwing up whenever it comes to mind. Not to mention the wrap dripped & squirted everywhere after a bite and made a huge mess.

It was OK, but nothing special. Coke zero was out, told the waiter, who eventually put a new box on, but did not bother to tell us.

Take away service on time and team very helpful

Great service, The manager Rob brought me straight in as I only wanted to order peri peri chips and he was very kind to put the fresh fries down for me and told me my wait time! Also checked to make sure they were being put together! ALL Staff Very polite kind and mannerable! Great job

We came here 2 nights when trading for work. One night was great, the next night, and thr same time, in a near empty restaurant, we were told they had no tables...

Extremely Rude lazy staff seldom open. The chicken goes straight from the freezer straight onto the floor and then onto the grill. Spot them dropping it when busy they stare dear death at you and do it again.

Me and parter opted for the set meal for two with the boneless platter. Around £40.00 including drinks well worth it.

Went on Friday evening with a friend - crazy busy. Left my name and number with Milly (absolutely lovely and great waitress btw! So chatty and nice), expecting a call in 30 minutes like she said. 8 minutes later, I got a call saying they had a free table (which was sticky)! Ordered on the app, nice and easy. Our food actually came before our glasses for our drinks which was a bit odd. Also, I asked for halloumi and cheddar on my burger, but I didn't get the cheddar :( wasn't too fussed and they were busy so I didn't mention it. Then, when my friend went up for cutlery, they had completely ran out, so we had to sit and wait with our food in front of us for a few minutes without eating until the cutlery came out. Prices have of course gone up a couple quid since I last went which isn't a surprise, but I probably have Nando's like 4 times a year so I can justify spending the money every now and then. Overall, definitely wouldn't go on a weekend evening again if I could avoid it. Mid-week lunch or even ordering it for collection at home will be much less stressful.

This place is always unexpectedly closed when we visit Harrogate and plan to go. Yesterday it was closed and only take out, the previous time it was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Please sort it out!

Firstly they didn’t have any chicken wings, then we waited 30 minutes and they only brought one stater over. We had to ask for our drinks and second starter (while the meals where here) and then they missed off both sides from the kids meals and then said they had no brocoli

Really friendly staff and great food We use Nando’s every day for our son as he lives on Nando’s and his favourite place is the one in Harrogate with staff being so friendly we feel like our home they so friendly and very attentive we appreciate their brilliant services and highly recommend this place. Was very disappointed with the whole experience. From walking in we were just left to stand there. Staff walked past us but no acknowledgement. Eventually we got served and seated. We spent 10 minutes choosing our food and then I went to the bar to order. Only to be told they were out of thighs. Not good for a place that specialises in chicken, and a lot of the dishes are based on thighs.Back to the table to choose again. Would have been useful to know they were out of some items before we sat down. The staff just seemed disinterested in serving us. Would I go back to nandos? Never.

Red chicken, garlic bread was burnt truly shocked baring in mind paid 18 brick oh and to add insult to injury the cutlery wasn’t even clean honestly wouldn’t wish this experience on my arch nemesis. Large restaurant with a cool vibe. I ordered online one day and ate in person later in the week. The chicken was always juicy and tasty both times-not dry. The sweet potatoes wedges are so tasty. Wasn’t a big fan of the grain side with squash or whatever it had, but plenty of sides dishes to choose from. Food was prepared quickly both time. Online ordering and payment (both for pickup and at my table) was easy.

Order 1/2 chicken with salad and 1/4 chicken with salad, 3 wings with 2 sides and chicken livers. 1/2 and 1/4 chicken came after 20 minutes with no sides and was dry not fresh. 3 chicken wings came after 30 minutes. Order was delayed, Not impressed and not going this branch any more.

Great chicken and love going with my family

Never dissapoints, generally fast service and satisfying for the whole family. I personally love the Vussa Hot Sauce although it could be hotter lol. I love being able to choose the side and cutting out the cars.

Nice place. But very limited option of drinks. Plus most of them from a can. Doesn't taste same like from a bottle. Had a chicken liver and it was very good. Amount of food does not goes well with prices.

Jack the manager was fantastic. The food was limited but went out of his way to help us and left us feeling very happy customers. Jack was fantastic in the Harrogate branch, warm and welcoming with fantastic customer service. Lovely gentlemen and if you’re a visitor jack will sort you out and help if you’re in need.

Called in with family after a trip to nearby Mother Shiptons and we had a great time. The app was a bit of a pain to use but once we got this sorted out, everything was lovely. The food arrived quickly enough,the staff were lovely and helpful... the only issue we had was no toilet roll in the toilet. This was a disabled toilet and other customers may not have had assistance with them to get staff to fetch a new roll. This definitely needs to be checked more frequently. Overall it was nice worth a minor blip. We'll worth a visit.

I asked for a chicken burger plain and I got a Chicken burger with Relish, Sauce And it was rushed so we asked for a plain and it come out quickly we then gobbled it up with strarvation we are at table 5

Best Nandos I have been to. Customer expectations are managed as soon as you walk through the door. Staff take great care in their work which is quite rare these days! Even got the houmous starter free of charge. Thanks for a great experience 👍

First time I have ever been, found it strange and unsure about the app you had to order your food by, but the member of staff we had was lovely and helped us through our order. Would definitely go again when in Harrogate.

Great meal - know what you're going to get with Nando's and it rarely disappoints! Manager was a credit - our food was a little slow for whatever reason but they kept us informed about timings and gave us a free half chicken for our troubles - no complaints!

Our first time at Nando's and it will be our last. Our server new it was our first time and we expected some help with understanding the menu, that didn't come . So we ordered a chicken dish the chicken was ok but the bread was rock hard.

Missing meals and cold food twice in a row. I ordered me and my partner a meal and my full meal was missing and the food was freezing for my partner. I thought this would be a one off. I ordered again and my partners meal was missing and again the food was freezing. £80 spent and no compensation still. The Deliveroo driver said this has been happening a lot from the Harrogate branch recently.

I dig Nando's have done for a long time. There wasn't much to make it stand out from other Nando's. The only reason for the knock down of a star was that it seemed very dead so felt a tad exposed 😅

Seated by a guy who slapped the menus on the table and walked off, food came so fast it's obviously not prepared to order. Never asked about allergens, stale bread but got told it's meant to be like that. Mayo on burger stinking tasted really off. Nasty dry chicken. overcooked and not hot through (precooked off probably) Declined a replacement meal as wouldn't trust things out of a kitchen that's happy to send food like that in the first place. Felt gross knowing I ate that dodgy smelling food.
