Novello Lounge in Telford and Wrekin

I’ve always had a positive experience here. Food is tasty, vibe is nice and I think it’s a great asset to Telford. Staff are always pleasant too :)

Relaxed place and good food (I had the tapas). Downside was that despite advertising they accept American Express on the door, the website you use to order your phone doesn’t accept it - frustrating.

Possibly the worst meal i ever had the toilets were horrible, sticky tables, dirty glasses dirty plates chefs coming and going from vaping and taking out bags of rubbish through the restaurant and dog's in restaurant surly can't be hygienic. awful food Tasteless cold under cooked overpriced

Amazing food as always, atmosphere is chilled and inviting. Staff are so friendly and very helpful. Totally recommend, 10 out of 10.

Food great, service great topped off with unexpected bonus of live music. Really bought the venue to life and gave a USP to this environment.

I should know better than to keep trying these kind of chains and thinking something new will occur, rather than receiving the same mediocre sticky-table and bored staff experience. Looks the same as every other Lounge; same pictures on walls, same mismatched furniture trying to be kitsch and edgy, godawful toilets, sticky tables, chefs coming and going from the smoking area and taking out bags of rubbish through the restaurant, overpriced and poorly prepared food….etc. With that being said, this isn’t the fault of this particular place, I’m just so bored of them and paying above average for a very average food and drink experience. Overall the food wasn’t terrible, nor were the drinks. The staff seemed fine aside from constantly dragging tables around to prepare what must have been a large party expected later on. Just overpriced and underwhelming.

Lovely to see this place pop up in Telford. It has really elevated the brunch options in the area and is family and dog friendly. I regularly attend with my parents and am pleased to see increasing vegan options on the menu. So easy to order and pay either in person or via the QR code. Also - very nice decor, feels cosy like a living room.

Tapas was lovely but quite pricey for size or portions.

Went with friends for a friend’s birthday I had the Nasi goreng without the chilli sauce and omg it was amazing best food I’ve had in a long time would definitely recommend and all my friends loved their meals too

Good food and service. Unfortunately everywhere around are dogs. I'm allergic to dog fur and can think of nothing worse than having dogs in a restaurant. The one dog barked at everyone who walked passed and another stuck it's nose on our table as it walked by. This cannot be hygienic.

Busy and popular place due to great manager and staff. Dogs welcome and nibbles / bowls for them. Great range of allergies catered for. I am GF (colitis) and never have a problem eating here. Recommend this branch (Telford).

Called for food whilst out doing a bit of shopping. Nothing fancy but good price choices and service. I had the basic burger, which still comes with fries and slaw. My wife had a ciabatta sandwich which had southern fried chicken in it and she ordered a side of fries. All the food was tasty and at a good price. I had a pint of Brixton IPA, my wife had coke. Free glass of water is available in the end of the bar if you want that. Overall, nice place for a quick bite if you are in town. And it won't break the bank.

I love this place! Been here several times, the customer service is 5*, the atmosphere is so relaxed & happy, and no matter how busy it is, the quality of the food & cocktails doesn't change. Food is delicious, presentation & taste. Cocktails are amazing 👏 The people are the best.

I recently visited the area from overseas and found myself having breakfast at Novello as often as I could. The service was lovely, the ambience friendly and the food was delicious time and time again. Thank you!

Great food. My only negative is, if you have the lounge breakfast, there is no option for an extra portion of beans on the app, only an option to have them removed, otherwise 5/5

Good but put the price up rather than cutting portion size e.g. Mac and cheese is in a v shallow dish and consists of a couple of forkfuls, previously it was a decent portion. Also there were v few chickpeas in the shakshuka. TBH it's kinda put me off returning.

Great ambience, coffee and delicious soup of the day.....a must visit.

DO NOT BOTHER ATTEMPTING TO EAT HERE! Sat outside for over 15 minutes and not one member of staff came out to greet us or provide menus! There were several waiting staff in the restaurant but not one bothered to come outside to our table. We left shortly afterwards.

The food was really good and tasty. The service was super fast, we got our food in like 5-7 minutes after ordering. The restaurant had a really cozy vibe. You should definitely check it out!

Great place, friendly atmosphere, good food!

We’re always attracted to the “lounge” chain of café bars, so we visited this one after dinner in the centre of Telford. It had a large and pleasant interior and nice staff. It made a pleasant end to our evening.

Place is dated but nevertheless the food is ok but not outstanding service was good I have been before and will go again.

Lovely time for birthday breakfast

It’s a very nice cafe, with good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they have special offers that makes it even more attractive. I enjoyed my meals there.

Had brunch with daughter and partner..... great place, very friendly staff and not too noisy which is excellent for my daughter who is autistic. We are regulars here at Novello Lounge as the food is amazing .....

I eat here regularly for lunch. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently superb. It's hard to find a place that is consistently top class and the guys at Novello have never let me down.

Quant eatery in Telford situated just outside the shopping centre. Tastefully decorated with a very ambient atmosphere with an extensive and not too expensive menu. This venue allows dogs in and even has a watering and feeding station for them and on the occasions I have visited, has been busy with people of all ages. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you have a good dining experience. I highly recommend trying this venue out.

Best place to eat in Southwater, and the staff are a credit to this place.

Our party of 18 dined here on a Monday evening. I had put in a ‘group reservation request’ via the restaurant home page but I wasn’t contacted (they said this doesn’t work - may be worth taking this form down if this is the case). The booking was confirmed when we phoned the morning of the meal. It was explained that the food may not come out of the kitchen at the same time due to our party dive which we accepted. A long ‘banquet style’ table was reserved for us when we arrived. It wasn’t table service - you went to the bar and ordered drinks and food and paid for it there and then. This works really well for a large group (saves splitting the bill etc). Food came pretty quickly and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Good offers on for Mondays and Tuesdays (Monday being a free drink with any main meal - really good value). Nice staff and atmosphere. Would recommend eating here for groups.

Visited for a quick coffee and the service was excellent, polite and friendly staff. Decided to visit again for dinner, the children (18 & 13 years old) and I had a lovely time. Easy to order via app, helpful and polite staff, they’re always busy yet have time to ensure every table is settled and happy with everything. The food is delicious and drinks great, I must admit the coffee is delightful and I’m fussy! A calm and chilled atmosphere despite being busy. Wheelchair access. Ideal for children and families. Situation next to other restaurants and great shopping facilities. A fantastic park (Telford) a couple of minutes walk, which offers fabulous family friendly activities and much more… Overall - Excellent.

We visited on a Saturday morning, it was relatively busy which made it very loud and not very relaxing. Ordered on the app. Everything seemed very overpriced. Waited what seemed like hours for food and when it came was bang average. Had far better for less money elsewhere

The Smashed avocado brunch with bacon is my go to here. So flavourful and always beautifully presented. All food is always lovely, coffee is really nice, team are really friendly and atmosphere is great! Highly recommend!

Plenty of space, really friendly staff (nothing was too much trouble) and food was spot on. Will be coming back next year! As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed. Such a great place!

Had a nice dinner with friends over delicious food, on point service and great atmosphere. Definetely reccomend!

We arranged to meet friends in the town centre because it’s conveniently halfway and there’s easy parking. The food was good and the service was efficient but it was a very busy lunchtime and one friend has a hearing impairments and we found it very hard to converse because of the noise level. Will need to take more care when choosing a venue in future as this is a common problem in chain restaurants with hard surfaces and poor acoustics. Pity as we all enjoyed the meals.

came for breakfast - was good, took a little while to come out but was worth it - we were overcharges as not explained we couldn't swap stuff so worked out a bit more than budgeted for. but was really nice and great surroundings

We came here after miller and carter, the drinks we had were nice the hand made drinks are a bit weird, nice but wouldn't order them again. Our friends had some food and they enjoyed it as well.

Came here for a double surprise birthday party. The staff were accommodating with balloons and bringing out cake and the food and drink was great - reasonably priced and super tasty. Would highly recommend!

Free for all with table & seating arrangements as you can’t book and you just have to grab a table as soon as someone leaves which is quite an awkward experience especially when the tables are still dirty with other peoples leftovers, staff are great food is great.

We visited here at 1.30 in half term, the place was very busy but we managed to grab a table of four. The atmosphere was really chilled vibe, menu extensive and reasonable prices. Two of our party had the tapas, one the breakfast and I opted for the Chicken Bombay Burger, it was absolutely amazing and so full of flavour. The place was spotless and so were the toilets. Staff polite and attentive. Food excellent. Will definitely be returning.Thank you Novello.

This is the best place to eat in Southwater. It offers a range of items, that could be eaten all day, at a great price, and is delicious food. If you go I recommend you get something with the fritters, they are to die for.

There were four of us in our party including one person who is gluten free. There was plenty of choice on the menu for her - something that can’t always be said when if we eat out. We all thought that the staff very friendly, attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble. The atmosphere inside Novello Lounge was relaxed meaning we could really enjoy our food. The quality of food was excellent and with so much choice on offer we will be returning.

Stopped for lunch with my son whilst visiting town. Great menu choice with lots of variety. Went for the 3 tapas dishes for £12.95 and had 3 each and ordered different dishes so we could share. Great taste especially the Calamari and meatballs. Service is great, you order and pay at the bar.

My favorite place to go grab some food in telford. The staff are lovely, the decor funky and the food hands down the best. Highly recommend the twisted chicken club sandwich.

We had a lovely meal,we both are vegan and the food was fab. Plenty of options to choose from! Also ,it's really nice to have a great place to go eat and take your fluffy family member with you! Definitely recommend.

If you want something a little different this is worth a visit. There is an outdoor terrace if the weather allows or an interior that is a bit somber for a lunchtime. The menu is quite innovative with a range of sizes from small plates to larger portions. and prices are competitive. Order at the bar quoting your table number and the food will be brought promptly. There’s a container of chilled water on the bar for self service and on the day of our visit the staff were donating their tips and selling cakes in support of the Macmillan big coffee morning.

I recently made a visit to this amazing establishment and to say the least I was thoroughly impressed. The service was fast and friendly and all drinks and food I had ordered were amazing ( buttermilk chicken) I will be returning 👍
