Oliver's restaurant in Warrington

Came to watch Little Eagle who were as brilliant as ever. Food was good only thing that spoilt the night was the constant chatter from the two women and the chuckle brothers at the next table. They never shut up inconsiderate people spoil it for others.

Cossy atmosphere, great food and friendly staff, 5 stars are well deserved. Definitely will visit again

What can I say. We live locally and can't rate Oliver's highly enough. The staff, the attention to detail, the atmosphere, the amazing quality of food- delicious, the customer experience are second to none. Simply superior. We are spoilt to have this restaurant and bar on our doorstep. Thank you

Booked a big party dinner for a friend’s birthday. I received a call the day before the booking to send preorders and down payment for 20 people!! On arrival in the booked slot, table wasn’t ready. Meals arrived late. We returned one meal and replaced it with another order. We found it in our cheque, chef came out and said you have to pay for it, my place my rules!!! No more Oliver’s for us .

Worst experience I ever had in a restaurant.

We were staggered at the drinks prices! A soda water with a drop of lime £4.75 !! And not even in a big glass. It probably cost them less than 20p for the soda and less than 2p for the lime. What an absolute rip off!!!! For dessert, the so called tiramisu style was a whisky glass filled with cream and about a 1cm x 5cm piece of cheap Italian panettone cut into 3 tiny bits and stuck in it. How appauling that they could call it anything like a tiramasu..it was a pathetic CHEAP + nasty heart attack waiting to happen on a plate and at £6.50 it was again another insult

Party of 9 ……Christmas meal . Starters okay , mains most ok , my roast beef dinner was tasteless , veg tasted bad , roast pots had funny taste , I ate beef on plate which was the edible thing. 1 meal arrived cold so sent back and one meal arrived 15 minutes after the rest . Then had sweets and coffees . When bill arrived it was wrong as items on it that we hadn’t eaten , it went back and waitress came back and said it was ours to which we said no it wasn’t so it went back again . It came back with the items then showing as a minus . We asked for a bill which showed our items only to be told we couldn’t so we had to work it out ourselves . We did and there was £25 difference. We wrote our items on the back of the bill and gave it back to the waitress. After another 30 minutes still no one came back so I went to speak to the manager to be told in an aggressive manner that the bill was correct and the reasons why it wasn’t etc. He came to the table and one of my friends have been spoken to by the waitress before I came back in an aggressive manner . There was an apology but just felt it was lip service. Eventually we paid after over an hour if trying to do so and then left and won’t be returning as it was a very disappointing evening both with the food and the service .

Very disappointing lunch.23 of us came in for a pre-ordered Sunday lunch.A few of the group received Starters within 20mins., the rest of us waited patiently for 75 minutes, still no food.The organiser politely said how long we'd been waiting to one of the two waitresses.We were eventually served, some of the meals were ok, the Roast Dinners were only Luke warm, you couldn't get a knife through the Roast Potatoes.One lady was served the wrong meal altogether but as we'd all waited so long we just ate it.The desserts were ok.We didn't partake of coffee as we all had another commitment that afternoon.We booked for 12:30 so that our timings wouldn't overlap. An email has been sent as regards to the the disappointment of the whole experience.We've heard nothing! On the positive side we've had lovely group buffets there to treat our brilliant volunteers for all their work in a church cafe.

Great food, great service .... well worth a visit!

Just finished a meal at the restaurant, which we hadn't been to before. The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful. There was even live music on. We will definitely be returning.

This was booked as a party of 18 for a surprise anniversary dinner. From start to finish the service was extremely slow waiting up to an hour for the next course. The starters were all fine. Some of the main courses left a lot to be desired- pork escalope was dry and hard to cut, kids chicken nuggets were overdone and stringy. I had heard lots of good things about yhis restaurant but I wouldn’t go again and I definitely wouldn’t recommend to family or friends.

Always a warm welcome, polite friendly staff. Food is great with good choices as I require gluten free options. For those not gluten free plenty of good choices. Food always served hot and freshly prepared.

Absolutely amazing! The staff and chef themselves where a delight. The food was spectacular, beautiful warm energy about the place. Also the wine was, stunning. Highly recommend! X

Went on a Saturday evening, we arrived at 7.10 for a 7.30 booking, and although the place is huge and lovely it was empty. The singer did his best when he came on (8.50) but singing to 8 people was taking its toll. The food was well presented, but sadley,I genuinely think the lack of atmosphere affected the enjoyment of it.

A friend and I had lunch with you today. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and the presentation was excellent. We will be back with friends

Called in on the way home at 4.30 so there wasn't anyone else in at the time. Food came quickly and was absolutely gorgeous. Couldn't fault it

Booked for Father's day. Starters asked what was soup of the day told leek and potatoe was served tomato and pepper. 3 of our group ordered Sunday lunch all agreed the potatoes were inedible they were so salty, when we complained the waitress replied some people like them like that 🙄. The service was very slow it was like we were being ignored cos we had complained.

My wife and I went with friends for lunch at Olivers. We had a lovely lunch off the specials menu which everyone enjoyed. The restaurant has an adequate car park and is immaculate inside very modern and very bright, the service was also great with the waitress having a big smile all the time. The food in my opinion would please most people, it was served at well laid out tables. All in all a lovely lunch.

Very disappointed. Quality of food was poor. Staff were lovely. Manager brushed off our complaint regarding the food. Party of 13 and we were all of the same opinion. For a Sunday lunchtime the restaurant was almost empty, maybe others have shared my experience. I’ve been several times previously and food was delicious which is the reason we chose this venue, not sure what went wrong on this occasion.

Had my 75th birthday here Friday 29th March. 11 of us aged from 7 to 75 all thought lovely food good portions and good value. We sat at a large round table which was perfect. Staff were very good especially the girl who took my booking and served us. Sorry didn't get your name.

Limited atmosphere as an early lunch booking . But everything else was lovely

First visit here despite driving past numerous times. We had paté, mushroom ciabatta and garlic bread starters. Then roast dinner, lasagne and fish and chips for mains. Absolutely delicious food and great service. All reasonably priced. Would highly recommend

Eight of us dined there on Sunday 11th Feb 2024The whole experience was faultless. Eight of us were very satisfied and will be eating there again. The ambience, service and food quality were 10/10, and no silly prices either. Well done Oliver’s.

Great food service and experience

I've driven past on many occasions and never ventured in. What have I been missing, the food is amazing the service is fab. To add to the fact its great value for money it's a must visit for anyone.

Value for your hard earned cash. Atmosphere great. Staff, faultless.

Some of our party did enjoy their meals but mine was was cold. I didn't ask for it to be heated up because it was chicken and it would dry up and I hate eating when everyone else has finished. We didn't feel like the staff were very attentive.

Lovely restaurant, attentive waitress. We had a large table for a birthday, the restaurant was quiet. All the food was lovely and the bill was substantial as it is a bit pricey for what it is, however it is independently owned. An issue with one of the meals was addressed by replacing the meal with something different, however when we got the bill, the meal was still on there. I asked for it to be removed to be told I would need to pay for the other meal I ordered. Had I know this was to be the case I wouldn't have ordered another meal as I ate on my own as everyone else had finished their food. The replacement meal was also not nice (pork) was told it had been vacuum packed and cooked for 10 hours, however the pancetta was soggy and the flavour wasn't great. Was told 2 meals had been cooked for me so therefore I needed to pay for one of them. I was a bit put out as I would have never had to do this anywhere else, especially a chain restaurant. It's a shame that this issue will stop us from returning, which is unfortunate. All the rest of the food was lovely, especially the bruschetta. The waitress was great and attentive, so thank you. The owner is a nice guy to, just annoying that the issue was not resolved, which is a shame.

Had a lovely meal here recently. Great food, great service and very nicely priced. Would recommend highly.

Great food and nice atmosphere. Very few people in when we arrived. However, by the time we got to dessert, it was busier. We felt like we got put on the back burner and waited more than too long for dessert to arrive as others were being served....

Great place to have a meal and drink

Sorry even though it was quiet when we got in there it was just really flat. Staff were really nice and the cocktails were lovely. A little slow to serve though is my only negative.

Came here for lunch Sunday roast! 3 courses for £20 so was no brainer! The lamb and beef roast was appetising and full of flavour. Also ordered a nice fruity mocktail which was excellent! Brownie and apple crumble for dessert was nicer than I thought it would be. Rich and creamy for both. Staff were somewhat attentive, it was difficult to grab their attention when we wanted to order more food/drinks...

Faultless! Went for Michael Bublé tribute evening and only found out when they started serving that it was a set menu.. a worry for someone Vegan🫣. The Waiter clearly looked shell-shocked (bless him) but went off to speak to the Kitchen. What came back was nothing short of a miracle - THE best Mushroom 🍄 Risotto that tasted better than original version AND I got Vegan assorted 🍨 Ice-Cream?! The av. person can't comprehend that joy because you can eat or drink everything but when you have to take out Milk & Meat the world becomes very small. I'd 💯 recommend this place - it's not exactly close to Liverpool but I'd definitely repeat the journey for the Staff alone, who were all wonderful.

Italian sound cusine , friendly people. We are only in few on Wednesday night and the food was good, fast and friendly atmophere.

Good value for the quality of the food. Portions a good size.

Food was poor, peppercorn sauce was like water. I hate those card pay machines where the waiter trys to intimidate you into tipping, he glares at you and says follow the instructions on the screen, leave a tip, i stare back whilst pressing no. Hate those tactics and avoid those places. It was dead in there, only 1 other table occupied.

Went for my 70th.brilliant service lovely atmosphere and food was great. Had a singer on and we got seated all together .would definitely go again.Thank you for a brilliant day xx

My friend and I visited Oliver's for the 1st time. So impressed with the presentation of the starter my friend said I will take a photo. The waitress immediately said, "I'm too busy to take photograps". We didn't ask her. Three tables I think. I then asked her could we have a bit of time between courses. She said no as the order all goes in together. As she was walking away she said, "I'll try for 10 minutes. At the end of the meal as we were just (going down the middle) we asked could we pay separate. She said "I'm not working the bill out". We weren't asking her to. We found her rude and in need of some customer care training. Other than that the food was excellent but she has definitely put us off. Great Place by the way.

This is our fourth visit, this time with visiting family. What can I say, our guests were thrilled with the lovely ambience, excellent service, superb foods and more than affordable prices. Our favourite eatery. We loved it. Excellent all round!

Visited Oliver’s today for a birthday lunch for my daughter. Food was great and a nice environment. Sadly let down by one very rude & miserable waiter / staff member. On arrival we stood in front of this person for a considerable time, unacknowledged, whilst he completed paperwork. When I asked if we should find another staff member he very abruptly said ‘I will be a couple of minutes’. If I hadn’t arranged to meet family members I would have turned and walked out there and then. For the remainder of our visit, this man remained miserable and unhelpful. The rest of the staff were absolutely fine and the food was excellent. Sadly, a good team effort is being let down by one individual

The restaurant is on a busy main road but the carpark is far too small to accommodate all customers. I made reservations and travelled to the restaurant, only to have to drive home again.

Had a fantastic lunch with my wife and daughter, and we were both thoroughly pleased with our food choices. The fish croquettes and mushroom soup come highly recommended. The lunch prices were exceptionally reasonable, adding to the overall satisfaction of our dining experience.

Fantastic food, large choice, great portions, beautifully prepared, brilliant service for 16 adults and 2 children. We were allowed to mix and match from 3 different menus. Communication via email prior to our event was so easy, nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely be back.

We made a last minute booking on Saturday night, the food was great, but look at the menu online first to make sure it suits you. The drinks were reasonably priced and what a surprise to have a live music show and dancing. Thank you very much Oliver's.

Amazing find. Great service and atmosphere. Music/singer, outstanding but he could do with turning down the volume just a little, I was unable to speak to my friend without shouting.

Our first visit to Oliver's restaurant and we were very impressed. It was mid-week lunch time and quite a few tables were occupied. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. The food was hot, well presented and very good value for money. The proprietor checked all tables to ask if everyone was happy with their food and service. All round a very good experience and we will definitely return.

Lovely meal and a nice place to visit

We hadn’t booked put managed to get a table for 4 on Sunday afternoon. The staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. We had the set menu, the portions were just right and food and presentation was amazing. The waitress who looked after us was lovely, friendly and I would say an asset to the restaurant. I would 100% recommend and return.

I came to a funeral gathering at this bar/restaurant. The premises and access was very good as I use a wheelchair. The buffet and service were also good. The disabled toilet unfortunately was not good. The room was a large one but the toilet was squeezed into the corner so tightly I couldn't get my wheelchair in front of it. There was no drop down bar as there was no room to put one. Also the sink was very near to the toilet also barring access. Plus the toilet seat was very loose which is a very cheap thing to replace. For me the toilet was quite dangerous. I was lucky that my husband could lift me on and off the toilet or I would have been in a mess. Such a shame that something so simple spoilt my visit. I will not be visiting again 😒
