Pedro's Wine Bar in Southwark

Mi compañía hizo nuestra fiesta festiva en casa de Pedro y realmente entregaron. El espacio era un buen tamaño, y muy bien decorado. Se sentía muy navideño y acogedor. Teníamos alrededor de 90 empleados y a todos les encantó el ambiente y la comida era increíble. Pedro y su equipo fueron muy acogedores y serviciales, manteniendo la calma y logrando servir una variedad de platos diferentes. Nos sentimos muy cómodos mientras estuvimos allí y realmente tomaron la presión del equipo que organizó el evento. Nos gustaría volver en el futuro y no podríamos recomendar lo suficiente.

Tuvimos nuestro evento corporativo aquí en diciembre de 2024. Pedro era increíble para asegurar que todo estaba coordinado - comida, bebidas, decoraciones y música. Tuvimos un concurso de Navidad con una ronda de música y se nos permitió tomar el control de la música para tocar nuestras canciones. La comida era excelente, el bar es muy servicial y trabajó estrechamente con nosotros para decidir los artículos de comida adecuados para nuestra fiesta. El lugar está muy limpio y tuvimos un excelente tiempo!

Tuvimos nuestra fiesta en casa de Pedro. Fue realmente fantástico, salió perfectamente y estamos muy agradecidos. El equipo fue educado, resbaladizo y genuinamente agradable de tratar. -Muchas gracias.

Recibimos a 98 personas para nuestra celebración post ayuntamiento para cenar, beber y bailar. Lugar perfecto para tener para ti y crear escenarios para la noche en los dos pisos. La comida era irreal y tuvimos varios huéspedes comentar sobre ella! Pero sobre todo Pedro y su equipo eran un sueño para trabajar, haciéndonos sentir a gusto en todo el proceso, la instalación y el servicio en la noche! ¡No podía faltar una sola cosa! Recomiendo encarecidamente como una asequible, gran ubicación boda de Londres!

¡Qué lugar tan fabuloso! Un gran grupo de nosotros visitó para una celebración familiar por el cumpleaños de mi marido. Teníamos una selección de tapas, todo era increíble, (mis favoritos personales eran las judías tempura y la T - filete de hueso bañado con unas copas de Castello D'Alba Superior). El ambiente es tan cálido y acogedor que no querrás irte.

We can't rate this absolute gem of a place more highly. We held our wedding reception here and Pedro and his staff were amazing. Their customer service was above and beyond. Friendly, professional, helpful and incredibly accommodating. Setting is stunning and food and wine absolutely gorgeous. All our guests raved about the venue, food, wine and all the staff. We would recommend Pedro's to anyone in a heartbeat 💓.

Such lovely friendly staff who helped us choose n taste wines . Beautiful venue , lots of choice on menu loads of meat . But plenty for vegetarian & pescatarian too . Great romantic ambiance. Def will revisit !

We had our wedding at Pedro’s Wine Bar in April 2024. As a licensed wedding venue, we were able to have our legal wedding, celebration ceremony and reception in the same place. Throughout each stage, Pedro and his entire team were exceptional. The planning process was thorough, with Pedro on hand to answer any and all questions about logistics so the day could be planned accordingly. From liaising with our florist, Bloom East, to arranging set-up with our DJ, from table arrangements to menu tasting, Pedro worked with clarity, good humour and the utmost professionalism to ensure the day went as planned. On the day itself, Pedro and the team worked to ensure every element of the wedding worked seamlessly. They were respectful during the ceremony, attentive to all guests, and highly conscientious during service. The food served was uniformly excellent with vegans and vegetarians well-catered for. Starters of cod fritters, burrata and tomato salad, grilled prawns, vegetarian fritters and vegetable tempura were followed by sea bass, roast beef and a mushroom risotto tailored for vegans or vegetarians. The Portuguese wine list at Pedro’s is extensive and innovative, and those served during the reception were perfectly paired with the canapés and meal. The decor at Pedro’s is industrial in architecture but rustic in furnishing, and this contrast paired brilliantly with the floral arrangement provided by Bloom East. The setting was versatile enough that each stage of the wedding felt unique, but it was the work of the team that enabled this distinction. Photos attached should illustrate that versatility. We are so grateful for the hard work, respectfulness and diligence of Pedro and the team: . From the extensive planning to our communications on the day, we felt that the event was a collaboration. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they’d ever attended. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the venue for a wedding or event, and would also fully recommend it for a quieter meal out! This spot has a great environment and wine but do not book an event here. I booked an event for 20 people, went there to confirm in person, called to order food only to be told the day before they had a wedding scheduled for the day of my booking. Very poor organization. Now I have to find a venue last minute in London on a friday!

Visiting my son in London on a Sunday. Fancied something different, and saw reviews of Pedro's bar (OPS). Lovely walk from London Bridge Station, although Bermondsey nearer. The greeting was warm and welcoming and a quick talk through the menu and then wine tasting, after a discussion of what we normally like. Excellent selection and wine list. The tapas style food was all excellent and super tasty too. We had a great first visit and will definitely return and recommend to friends.

The restaurant is under the train tracks but they have managed a really cool atmosphere. The service was very good with plenty of attentive waiters.

We loved the setting of Pedros. The food was gorgeous. Amazing selection of Portuguese wine and the waitress bought us tasters to help us choose our red and vinho Verde wines.

We couldn’t recommend Pedro’s more. From all of the preparation, build up, to the day Pedro , Andre and the team were fantastic. They catered to all of our asks and wants to help create our perfect wedding day. And nothing felt like a task. Every question and query was met friendly professionalism The venue itsself is absolutely stunning. And offers the perfect setting, the food was delicious and served with care to all of our guests requirements, the staff were kind and attentive and we cannot fault them. You can tell that Pedro’s heart is in his business. as it really shows. Pedro and Andre are absolutely lovely to work with, and genuinely great guys. Thank you!

Thank you to Pedro and his incredible team for helping to deliver the most special of days for us. His flexibility, on the day and in the build up was a huge help in making us feel as relaxed as possible and free to enjoy our day to most! The food and the service was beyond exceptional. We’ve had countless guests describing the meal and drink served as ‘the best they’ve ever had’ and we couldn’t agree more. 

Cannot recommend Pedro and his team enough should you be looking to tie the knot!

We went to Pedros for a company event - a wine tasting, followed by some food. We had the whole of the mezzanine floor. The General Manager - Andre - was really helpful in the arrangements - happy to answer our questions and tailor everything to our needs. It was really well organised, food great, wine ... great! and so much fun. The feedback from the team was also amazing - everyone loved it. Thanks Andre - we'll definitely be back!

Located under the arches in a quiet street in up and coming Bermondsey, Pedro's is a committed wine bar first but happens to serve excellent and authentic (I have been reliably informed by a fellow diner...) Portuguese food. The owner is very knowledgeable about wines and will take time to provide recommendations and even tastings to ensure that you've selected the correct bottle. There is ample outside diner when the weather is kind and a friendly ambience in doors. A real find in an area, and worth the extra 5 minutes walk if you find yourself in Bermondsey Street!
