Pepe's in Luton

Don't sit in store it is freezing cold in the winter. The food is great but everything i come into store there's a delay so I tried to order via the app, later on I called to see if I could come early to pick it up and they said "it's ready now you can come now" just for me to come in and they hadn't started yet. Horrid service.

I came here on the 22 December with my wife and an infant of 1 year I ordered for an amount of 16.57, I just had one request to microwave my kids bottle of water for 10 seconds. And the response was not allowed. Maybe you might sometimes look and approve some requests that are for infants

Came here with my husband and my infant and ordered food , my husband requested for water to be microwaved which was bluntly refused, come on update you policy it is for the kid. That’s sad

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Pepe’s Peri Peri, Luton when ordering through Uber Eats. After waiting 1.5 hours for my food, I decided to call the restaurant to check on the delay. It took several tries to get through, and when I finally connected, the call was frequently disconnecting while I was trying to explain the issue. I had to keep redialing, only to face more frustration when the line stopped connecting altogether for a while. When I eventually managed to speak to someone, I was told my order had been delivered to the wrong address because the rider had swapped it with another. When I asked what could be done, the response was shocking,they said they couldn’t do anything about it and simply hung up. I had to call back again to insist on a solution. After wasting more of my time explaining the issue, they finally gave me the Uber Eats customer service number. While I understand that the mixup is all the rider’s mistake, the restaurant showed no accountability or willingness to help resolve the matter. In the end, I never received my order, nor was I offered a refund or replacement. This lack of responsibility and poor communication was deeply disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend Pepe’s Peri Peri Luton based on this experience, as they showed no interest in resolving the issue or valuing their customers’ time.

I've been here a few times now and the food is always so good, one of the best pepes I've been to. The service is incredible and super friendly staff, I'd highly recommend

Food was good, ordered at 12:50, it arrived at 1:53, when it said before that it will arrive at around 1:30ish

Food was cold, box was leaking and both rice boxes were falling apart

The chicken was not fully cooked, so I put it in the air fryer to ensure it was cooked properly. It only needed another 20 to 30 minutes, and everyone would be happy.

This is my 5 th uber order they never send me a proper order. I got someone used Mayo 😞

Very bad experience. I placed an order, it never arrived, but on the app it was showing delivered. I am home, no one knocked on my door or rang the bell. The person asked to deliver this order needs to be queried. This is very bad.

It was a appalling service, they driver would not respond to message and was very rude on the phone not delivering directly to me making me go to him whilst he sat in the car. The store was not answering the phone and when they did kept placing me on hold and very poor communication skills

Worst ever experience. Pathetic service.. The taste and quantity of food was bad. The piri piri sauce is runny like water with no taste. I ordered a combo but the quantity was so poor, chicken was super dry with tasteless sauce. Waste of money and waste of time.. not going there again neither recommending to anyone.

Food was delivered early, piping hot!! Chicken was amazing!

1) Chicken & Rice Box: Extremely dry. Chicken was flavourless, bland and very dry. 2) Peri Chicken: Some flavour but below expected standard. Overall very disappointing. Very unlikely to order from here again.

The driver faffed around wanting a pin, I repeated myself with the last 4 of my phone number but it didn’t sink in, he grabbed a neighbour and still didn’t get it, 10mins later, I got my food, cold, and with whole salt pot on the chips. 👎🏻

At 12am the driver is ringing on my doorbell when there is children are sleeping in the house. They should know not to ring on anyone door bell after 9/10pm.

Has been ordering at this place online and the food is good. But I decided to dine in one day only to realise they got the worst staffs especially at tills. The lady in the till had no smile while I was ordering my food and later she gave me something different from what I ordered and when I complained about the issue she started to argue with me.Just looking at reviews about the restaurant it's evident that I am not the only person who has experienced this. Hope the management gives a training to the staff.

I think you need to replace the all staff members who are in the TILL section . Next, this happened to me 2nd time I usually ordered peri fries with that I will get one DIP as well (In other stores) but when I asked them for DIP the staff were very rude and saying NO.

Over an hour for delivery, asked for chicken breast got half a thigh not even a whole piece of chicken, smallest portion of chips I’ve ever seen, like I asked for child’s portion. Cold dry chips… this place is complete joke will never order here again

Many years ago this branch of peers Peri Peri used to be the most brilliant one in Luton but now Food is completely changed. It’s totally substandard food. The food feels soy and water from inside and it does not look like a grilled food mark and I will never come here again.

Just order late evening snack loaded fries with chicken lovely flavor a must have if hungry 😋 definitely
