I had an amazing experience with Pimentos and I thoroughly reccommend them. Pimentos now only take bookings for large parties from a minimum of 30 ppl. I wanted to arrange something for my dads 60th birthday. From the initial communication to the final day, everything was on the ball. The ownder Cleddon provided the most amazing service, he was attentive, helpful and made my dads surprise birthday meal that much more spectacular. I chose the menu options that i wanted for a personal buffet (He will pretty do whatever you ask for) and i was quoted a price per head, which was exceptionally reasonable. We had fried chicken, jerk chicken, curry goat, fried fish, sweet potatoe curry, chick pea curry, fried dumplings, rice and peas and white rice, salad and coselaw. I was able to attend on the day of my event to decorate the restuarant how i wanted, i was given free reign to do what i needed to do and i was grateful, as i was able to really execute my vision the best way i could. The food was on point, I like Jamaican food as much as the next, but it gets a a bit tedious when you eat it regularly. However, i dont know what magic they are performing in that kitchen bbut the quality of the food was amazing, even down to the simple white rice, it was so fluffy and nice. The rice and peas were great ( im not usually a fan), the jerk chicken was tasty and that jerk sauce was on point ( i need at least a gallon, i would happily purchase this). Teh fried chicken was crispy and juicy. the curry goat was cooked to perfection. The fried dumplings, oh my. I had not one complaint about the food all night, there was nothing but compliments from our group (44). The staff were absolutely amazing, they were happy, full of smiles and laughs, they were attentive and provided the most amazing service for us. Extra special shout out to my friend Temeka (apologies if i misspelt) she helped me feel at ease when i was getting stressed with my failed balloon arch and she kept me laughing throughout the night whilst still working dilligently. Everyone was absolutely amazing and i would reccomend anyone who is looking for a nice function space for smaller numbers, i believe the max is 60 (double check that), then this is the place for you. I'm sorry to say since the last two chefs left the food has gone downhill I add food from here and I wouldn't buy it again I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone new I'm sorry it it's bad food I'm sorry I feel like this but when the food is bad it is bad

Headed this way from Great Barr, hoping for delicious Caribbean food for a fussy husband. 😐 I should have called first. Even when we reached, I wanted to believe it was open. It wasn't. There was post visible under the door. I have rated it low because I have no idea what the service, food, or atmosphere are like inside. Please call before you go.

Hits the spot every single time!! Every time I come up from London I visit this spot Oxtail succulent Mutton just melts in your mouth Dumplings crispy homely and moreish Plantain how I like it Rice and Peas flavoursome Staff realllll friendly :-) Bless up and keep doing the good work

Had a curry goat from pimentos a few times. Stunning food. Does not get any better. And I've tried hundreds of take outs and Carribbean restaurants. Cooked with love 👌👌👌

I attended this venue for a 80th birthday party. This is a really nice little hideaway place.A fantastic atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

food was a absolute car crash, ordered curried chicken and rice and peas, all i got was one yammed piece of a leg with no meat on it like the staff had tucked into it before i arrived to collect and a five other lumps of chicken which was all dry and boney like they had been sun bathing and the rice all clumped, i ordered two festivals but it was more like they gave me one and half. I was so fed up i couldn't be bothered to go back and vent and get my refund, i shall be returning my two festivals to show them the levels to the disrespect i was shown. This restaurant is also selling containers and drinks overpriced they are selling large meals and drinks and they are only medium containers. I went to a Caribbean takeaway in Wolverhampton yesterday and that place reminded me of the true sizes of large containers and drinks. See attached a picture of a drinks cup which is a large true to size and not a medium cup pretending to be a large drink. avoid this place they will keep taking liberties with peoples hard earned money if i wanted a medium meal i would of went to mcdonalds.

Wish they would bring back the sweet potato curry or make sure its in stock

I had mutton curry and rice and peas delivered twice within a week. The food was excellent, very tasty I thoroughly enjoyed. This extremely high standard must continue

I have been meaning to visit this place for years, lovely place. I had ackee & saltfish, my mum had stewed chicken and my son had ox tail all the meals were very nice and worth a visit.

Jerk chicken is beautiful best about and iv tried loads of carribean places. Mutton is seasoned to the bone tender 🔥🤤rice and peas always lovely cant fault this place the food quality is amazing and consistent. My number 1 if I fancy carribean food.

Amazing Caribbean food right next to Walsall station. I was starving and really craving something tasty, filling with just a bit of zing. The jerk chicken totally completes these for me today. The service was friendly and fast with a chilled atmosphere at lunch. I can imagine this place is rocking on an evening. The jerk chicken was served with rice and beans with veg. The chicken was tender and a very generous serve. The sauce, omg the sauce. Sooo tasty with a delicious sweet base and just a touch of zing. Amazing and highly recommended!!

Mave and colleagues were so friendly it was a pleasure to dine there. The food was exceptional! Fresh and tasty and special mention about the fried dumplings - divine. Such good value too. Lovely people and so accommodating, food was amazing, I had the fried chicken - it was beautifully crispy on the outside and the meat was moist, curried mutton was so tender and melt in the mouth, would highly recommend and I look forward to my next visit

Such a lovely atmosphere. Had the smallest issue but the lady was more than happy to help and sort it out. Cant complain about the food, it’s honestly so delicious. Our waitress was so sweet and great at her job. Honestly would recommend this place for food lovers

From time to time Pimentos Bar & Grill hits the road with its feast feast. I spotted them in Solihull where they were selling there street food under this name. I have been on trip advisor for years and did tell the server that I was one of the top food critics on Trip Advisor. This was a conversation during chatting to the excellent customer service individual known to me as "RUBY" - She said, 'This will be the best you have ever tasted hun'. Those are BIG words, coming from this beautiful lady with amazing customer service skills. Well, guess what? she was right. I ordered two mutton with rice and one mixed chicken, this meal did not disappoint. The flavours were strong and my taste buds were dancing with delight. SUMMARY: Customer Service: 10/10 Quality of the Food: 10/10 Overall Experience: 10/10 I highly recommend you treat your taste buds to this amazing food, it doesn't get better than this :)

Booked a table for a birthday. Food is amazing I give them that. Customer service not good. I work in a restaurant and wouldn't charge my customers 3 pound for 3 take out boxes. When it's a take out restaurant. Charged us 50p extra on our meal each because we were eating in baring in mind we must of spent about 100. My uncle then asked for a carrier bag and she told him don't ask for much do you. the customer service is disgusting simple. Will only ever order take out will never bring my people there again. Didn't say anything in restaurant for simple fact they aren't gonna like what I had to say. N I can't stand there arguing with my anxiety. #joke

Pimentos resturant hosted a buffet for my husbands birthday last Saturday and he had a great night. The owner and staff did a great job in providing good food, and a great atmosphere. Guys the food was delicious, tasty and values for your money. Chef definitely cooks packs a punch with flavour, and I'm all about food with spice and flavour! The Jerk Chicken smell alone, even made me want to start eat Chicken and that says alot lol. Thanks to the Pimentos team again for making our evening such a memorable one!

Such a disappointing experience, no value for money and the taste is for the European pallet BLAND NO FLAVOUR. I've tried almost all the jamaican restaurant's in walsall but I guess I have to go to Birmingham to get service. This is why a lot of businesses go under because they want to get rich quick and don't have the ability to provide a high standard of service, at least try and make the food taste good.

Beautiful food! I’m very particular when it comes to traditional Jamaican food and I’m so happy I took a chance with Pimento’s Bar & Grill. The rice and peas was fragrant and well flavoured with thyme, coconut cream, seasoning and hints of garlic. The steam cabbage is the perfect balance between soft and crunchy. The jerk chicken was perfectly marinated in proper jerk seasoning and cooked on a jerk pan. It’s not too And as an added extra the Macaroni Cheese is creamy with a melted cheese top and baked just like Mommy’s. Washed down with a Lemon Red Stripe and I’m taken back to Clarendon in Jamaica. Top that off with great customer service and you have the perfect Jamaican food experience. Thank you Pimento’s!

Best dumplins me ever ad! De proper had nuff kick in a me mout! Staff members! TEK A BOW! They have recently spend some pound coin on de place, revamp lookin criss, big up to chef Conna who was big help to me an me woman Lisey who also personally said she had neva ad Jerk Chicken like it since her mada used to do it! I ordered food for a valentines day meal but have ordered food from Pimentos many times. The portions are always a good size, the food is delicious and the service is great.

I never usually leave reviews on take outs but i just had to on this! This is honestly the best Caribbean take out food iv ever had! We had mutton, rice n peas, jerk chicken, plantain, steam veg, coleslaw and dumplings. Meat was succulent, decent size portions for the price, spice was perfect, rice and peas was amazing. I cant say a bad word. It was absolutely delicious and tastes very fresh, authentic and home made! Will definitely be ordering again!

Lovely woman and amazing food. She called me to inform me they had no carrot cake adn was lovely enough to offer red velvet with a one off custard option and I must say. One of the best akcee and salt fish with dessert I've ever had. I'm honestly ordering here again purely because of how sweet and kind the owner was. I ordered a large order to collect. The communication was fantastic and friendly. The food was delicious and still hot when I got home. Everyone really enjoyed the food and had full bellies as the portions were a decent size. Not a complaint from anyone, everyone said they loved everything from start to finish and would definitely be ordering again!!

Would have given 5 stars if the drinks service was speedier. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had three courses which were all delicious. The oxtail was cooked beautifully. Neither fatty or tough. Would definitely recommend this venue and return.

The food was absolutely scrumptious, well seasoned, freshly made and a decent portion size. The atmosphere was amazing, clean and the staff were delightful. Loved everything about the place; from decor to layout to decoration. My uncle also has a similar place but I gotta give credit where credit is due, Pimento's food hit all the right nerves, taste buds, sensations, every ting. Loved the pool area which I used while my food was being prepared. If I am in the area again, will certainly pay another visit. Highly recommend.

I've never been let down by Pimento's yet! Every time I order I get piping hot delicious food. Portion sizes are generous and the price is worth it, I would even be willing to pay a bit more. The service is always on point too! Greeted with a friendly smile and acknowledged as soon as I enter every time. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef D yesterday, a lovely genuine person who wants his customers to enjoy the services. Great food, great service and I'm looking forward to ordering again soon!

I have had too many bad experiences with this takeaway, twice this month 07/20 I have had rice & peas and i must say i was very very upset, it was like sticky full of a oily slick gravy, my grandkids know there carribean food and were also disappointed, I feel the chef or cook is upset with his or her employer, judging on the way the rice &peas turned out £30 I spent festivals were oily, coleslaw looked like it was shoveld into the ltl yellow container when unwrapped it was all under the cling film you can see it was not dished up with love or due care,not my money ever again, there are other outlets

Food came on time ....lovely service from delivery person...food hot and delicious....would definitely order again with a lovely Guinness punch and I will try there mutton soup next time !!! Special thanks to you all...giving what I needed at the time I needed it ......

Whilst in transit back to the capitol. I found this really nice Jamaican restaurant. I ordered a medium fried chicken with rice and peas. Coleslaw on the side. The chicken was fresh and tender. Rice and peas fluffy and seasoned. If in the area, highly recommend. The server was well mannered and helpful.

food was disgusting, ordered brown stew and mutton both with rice. Rice was mushy, the food was watery and there's no other way to describe than HORRIBLE. Said it would be half hour and it come double that time. Will never order again - cant believe i wasted £25 on something I wouldn't give my dog.

We were a party of 20 of us having a family get together. The food was delicious but staff let the place down. Not very friendly and taking food and drinks off the tables before people had finished with it. I left my rum punch on the table half full to just nip outside. Came back and it was gone! My husband was actually sitting eating his food and paused to chat to someone across the table and she was going to take his plate! Lovely food Chef B but you need to train your staff!

This is my all-time favourite place to eat in Walsall. No other Caribbean restaurant around with food this good. I had the best steamed fish ever last night and several other dishes before. The food is always yummy and the chef asks for your preference. I can't recommend enough. Please also try the Guinness punch, it's like a milkshake with Guinness, really good.

Visited with family and the food was excellent. Tasty and well cooked. No complaints at all. Very warm, welcoming and hospitable staff. Highly recommend. They even have a pool table which for us and the occasion was a plus. Thanks Very much so all the team who made our visit enjoyable!

First time for us at Pimentos, but we will certainly be back again in the future. The salt fish fritters were sublime and the sticky barbeque wings were tangy and really tasty. The flavour of the goat curry was deep and moorish. The stewed chicken was tender and rich, with the meat simply falling off the bone. Top marks for the service, which was friendly and attentive without being over bearing.We will certainly return, with the change of menu each day being a good incentive to try the rest of the food on offer.
