Pizza Express in Milton Keynes

I don’t recommend pizza express i didn’t have such bad food experience in a very long time. The pasta testing as burnt carbon and the lasagna was full of fat cheese and burnt cheese.

My food was cold, pizza toppings slid off the pizza coating the box, usually great but this time awful and inedible ☹️

Terrible service, like they didn't want us there, more pre-occupied with doing the take away deliveries than supporting the internal customers. restaurant was half empty, yet told would have to wait 45 minutes ! 'Did we really want to wait' !! Left standing at the door for 5 minutes upon arrival, although we had been seen. The food when it finally arrived wasn't bad, but it just came when it was ready, not at the same time.

Food was cold, didnt have what was in the menu but did change it for us so that was alright.

Awesome atmosphere and service was incredible.

Very patient and helpful service from Toufiq, including using loyalty app for order, which worked seamlessly. Food was tasty. Overall very positive experience.

I am absolutely appalled by the lack of hygiene practices I witnessed from the kitchen staff at the Pizza Express Milton Keynes Stadium branch. My partner and I were seated at table 30, directly facing the kitchen, and what we saw was completely unacceptable. One of the chefs, an older gentleman with glasses, was using his phone while preparing food. We did not see him wash his hands after using his phone either!! And bizarrely, he even took a call on loudspeaker. I understand that personal emergencies can happen, but if that was the case, the chef should have stepped out of the kitchen to handle it instead of continuing to use his phone while touching food that would later be served to customers! It is common knowledge, backed by science, that mobile phones are full of germs—studies say they’re dirtier than a toilet seat. We use them everywhere, picking up bacteria from all kinds of places. Touching a phone while cooking and not washing hands after is a serious health risk and should never happen in any kitchen. Even kids know this. We saw this was happening while we were in the middle of eating our meal, and it made us absolutely disgusted. I’m sure it won’t be long until customers start coming down with E.coli food poisoning from it, that is, if people haven’t been already. Pizza Express needs to seriously reconsider the hygiene standards of their staff. Until then, we won’t be returning, and I urge others to think twice before dining here.

Ann our server was very welcoming and helpful. She guided us through the Pizza Express app and enabled us to use the offers at our visit. She made is feel relaxed and we enjoyed our pizza and dessert all the more for it.

The portion sizes for the starters were small considering the cost, and the meatball pizza was quite bland. On a brighter note, the calzone was decent. Wouldn’t order from Pizza Express again.

I took my family to this PizzaExpress branch and after eating; I went to use the toilet, passing by their kitchen area and saw the guys using their bare hands to cut the toppings on the pizzas they’re about to put in the oven. Disgusting Nearly vomited what I ate. Never again UPDATE: Thanks for confirming that it is a POLICY of Pizza Express that your food handlers should NOT WEAR GLOVES, and you started talking about studies. I’m a Surgeon and I know the importance of handwashing ; but imagine your good handler cutting the pork meat with their bare hands and then prepare some Margarita pizza for a customer who’s not a meat eater or a non pork eater? Thanks for giving me more assurance NOT TO VISIT PIZZA EXPRESS EVER AGAIN

Dining at this establishment left me pondering who on Earth thought hiring these folks was a good idea. Honestly, everything that could go wrong, did! First off, the server seemed to have missed the memo on customer service. I had to repeat myself multiple times for simple dishes and was even asked to point at the menu like I was a toddler learning to read. How does someone working at a pizza place not know what a margarita pizza is? It’s not rocket science! Then there was the delightful surprise of being served pizza without a cutter. When we asked for one, we were handed a dirty one—thanks for that, pal! On the bright side, the food was lovely; the chefs clearly know their way around an American pizza. It was a real treat when our competent server asked how our food was—after we’d finished—and offered us drinks like a late-night infomercial host. He even asked if we wanted dessert three times, which we politely declined each time. Thanks for the persistence, but I wasn’t looking to join a dessert support group! Then came the grand finale: paying the bill. I would have preferred a night in a jail cell than dealing with this circus. It took 20 minutes, and the first 10 were spent watching him scan the same QR code for a discount, convinced the ninth time would be the charm. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I suggested typing in the code, and that seemed to rattle him—off he went to fetch the manager. Eventually, I paid, feeling like I’d just completed a marathon. I can only imagine it was how Nelson Mandela felt after 20 years—except I’m not planning to reoffend by ever returning to this delightful train wreck known as STADIUMMK PIZZA EXPRESS!

If you want to consistently have half a meal and enjoy being left to claw that money back from just eat then your in luck, this is the restaurant for you.

Visited Pizza Express on a Sunday night mainly due to the fact that the restaurants around it were either too busy or ran out of meat. Unfortunately, this isn't halal so will never be able enjoy the full Pizza Express experience. However, I don't have anything to complain about. Got one veggie and one margie with some dough balls. All to a quality standard.

Once again, we went to Pizza Express, but this time at MK Stadium. We were attended by this lovely lady named Neia, and our food was served by Ann, who was very attentive and made sure we were having a good time, and yes we did have a great time. As usual, the food was super delicious, the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. Will definitely go again to enjoy the lovely pizza.

WOW - that was a delightful lunchtime experience at Pizza Express Milton Keynes Stadium!!! From the stylish design of the restaurant and atmosphere to the exceptional service and tasty food (Pizza/Salad/Dough Balls) everything was great. The whole staff is friendly and dynamic. Ann, the waiter, was exceptional - she just made us feel like VIP :) - thank you so much for that!!! You deserve a bouquet of flowers!!!

DO NOT BUY GIFT VOUCHERS. This is the second time I have tried to use a gift voucher and they have been unable to use it.

Busy on a bank holiday weekend so surely the management should have enough staff working. We waited 40 minutes for pizzas with no reasoning or apology.

Had an issue with my order. Vickie resolved it quickly, professionally and with kindness. I felt listened to and the problem was swiftly solved. Vickie was really brilliant and I am very grateful as it was a special occasion and she understood how important it was to me.

It was a great, delicious pizza, really good price, especially with app loyalty, but we were sat too close to a couple next to us. It would be perfect with a bit more space between seats.

The food was very good and the service was spot on. We only called in on a passing whim when shopping and really enjoyed the whole experience

Pizza Express is our ‘go to’ place to eat as a family! We love the food, the atmosphere too. Our most recent visit was on Saturday and it did not disappoint! The guy serving us was fabulous, so smily and helpful. The manager was great too, really helpful and so kind. We’ll be back again next month as our son has chosen it for his 13th birthday meal, we can’t wait! We have the Pizza Express app and are gold members, so we always use our amazing rewards to save money. Would highly recommend to any family, as they cater for many dietary requirements too.

Came here Friday 10th May for a meal with my partner and it was a lovely sunny day so we sat outside which was really nice. The food was delicious, we love the hot honey dough balls. Service was great. The male staff member serving us was really lovely and chatty, we had a good conversation about the stadium and the upcoming events. Really enjoyed our time here

We booked a table for 1pm and was stuck in the traffic for mk marathon. In the car driving I couldn't notify the restaurant and children were starting to get irritable. When we arrived almost 30mins later the restaurant was full, it was busy, there were people queuing outside too! Plus it was a bank holiday weekend. Luckily the Manager kept the table for us, knowing we would be finding it difficult to get in, and we just made it before the table was released. We are regulars although haven't visited in the last 3 months. Great attention to detail, food is always delicious here. Thank you as always! We got desserts too this time. 🤤

Nice clean restaurant. Lovely food , fun deals , quick service and very helpful staff. I’ll definitely be going again. Lots of choice on the menu, we had dough balls and a pizza each and there was plenty of.

We came today for lunch (party of 12). The service was outstanding, friendly, efficient, enthusiastic and helpful. A party of 12, 5 adults and 7 children so not an ease table. The service was spot on, everyone’s food and drinks arrived promptly and together. A lovely relaxing lunchtime. The food was delicious, fresh and very well presented. A lovely touch for the birthday girl with the signing a message on the cake and singing happy birthday. Thank you so much. 100% recommended.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch with a friend. The restaurant wasn’t busy and very clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, took time to make small talk with us even teaching me the pronunciation of a pizza along with the origin story. Definitely would recommend for weekday lunch.

Food was delicious, Harry and Bogdan made our experience amazing, both of them are an absolute credit to the team!

Good pizzaexpress, no complaints

Wow! What can I say. In my 52 years this has to be the worst dining experience I have ever had. In fact it got so farcical that we thought Michael McIntyre was going to pop out with his TV crew as a prank! What in any world , however busy you are is an hour and 15 mins acceptable to wait for food! We had to get the attention of a waiter for drinks after 20 mins we then had to physically get up and ask to have our order taken...then 1 of the pizzas was ordered incorrectly we could see this on the app so again had to get up and bring this to their attention....then we waited and waited and waited and waited...... people arriving and getting food ... honestly...it was utterly ridiculous. In the end I called a woman over who looked like she had some savvy and told her how long we had waited! She looked horrified. The 4 pizzas then came...one being a chicken fajitas pizza...guess what no chicken so that got whisked away and the returned when the rest of us had finished. You literally could not make it up! It was so awful we ended up doing nothing but laughing! We did end up being told we would have 50% off the whole bill....but nothing was clear and so when the bill came it was higher than if we had used the offer on the app. Again we called over for help and the manager explained it was a further 50% off the offer too! Then explain that clearly...we are not stupid people! In the end it cost us £26 for 2 drinks, 4 pizzas and a calamari but also high blood pressure , stress and a waste of 2.5 hours of our lives! Never again! Get more staff and get it together! How hard is it to make 4 pizza's ...( unfortunately for them I know how quick it takes as my daughter worked at PE for 2 years, she assured me that basically they has simply forgotten our order)!

Enjoyed a delicious pizza before a trip to the nearby cinema. Service was polite, and relatively quick. Free parking on the retail park. Definitely recommend

I bought a variety of products and in the end we end up with same thing in 5 deferent boxes even though, online they specifically said that we should have 3 varieties of starters. Really desipointing to receive only dough balls in 5 out of 6 boxes. The most expensive dough that no one should buy or be tricked into.

Just popped in for a pizza after Christmas shopping. Amazing food and only bettered by the service from Lucy and Simone. Definitely coming again!!

I'm old enough to remember going to the original London Pizza Express, back in the 60's which, whilst a bit of a novelty at the time, was nevertheless, a truly memorable and special experience. Since then and many (tummy - bound) pizzas later, my love for Italian food continues unabated and when it comes to pizzas in this country, no-one comes closer than Pizza Express. This particular restaurant simply compounds my love and the staff went further to not only enhancing our eating experience, (my three stepsons were treating me for my birthday!) but making it extra special. Particularly, Simone, the Manager, who really made us feel special and welcome in what was a busy time, in the restaurant. ps: I had bruschetta to start and a La Reine pizza with an egg, all washed down with a delicious Peroni Doppo Malto. De-flippin-licious. Highly recommended, can't wait to go back.

They managed to serve my son totally undercooked pasta. Later said it was so busy they were struggling to cope. Dough balls have become very small. Shame -won’t return.
